Decent coffee with good environmental options. The default is no lid but lids are freely available if needed.

Note that the lake is currently a construction site as part of a rejuvenation project but there's still a nice breeze and the view remains decent. This is a busy spot in the morning and lunch for staff, students, and construction workers, but has a decent amount of outdoor seating, some of it covered, and both larger and smaller tables available if you happen to bring a decent size group or if you want to sit alone.

Came on a friend's recommendation and enjoyed the combination rice vermicelli noodle salad ($15), which came with some spring rolls, beef, Vietnamese meatball, and sugarcane prawn.

The food was more satisfying than the views, for unfortunately there's currently no lake to be ⁹Lakeside* of. Will have to return with the lake is back in operation!

The meat in the pho is raw. I asked them to recook, but they said that’s their tradition. How primitive restaurants will offer raw meat to their customers.

Good place to enjoy the beautiful Queensland weather in the early morning! You can enjoy tasty hot and cold drinks or eating breakfast, having a chat with friends or co-workers while listening to birds twitter will have a good vibe at 7:00 in the morning. However, there are no indoor areas, which means no protection from heavy rain, no air conditioner during hot summer and low temperature season and bird's attitude. The feature that I like the most in this coffee shop is that this place always maintains the cleanliness of the shop and the comfort of their customers. This may be biassed but as a Vietnamese, I honestly recommend to try Pho (Beef Noodle soup) and Banh Mi (Vietnamese bread rolls - you can imagine it as a Sub in Vietnamese style), the most famous dishes from Vietnam. Enjoy!

Great Di Manfredi coffee, but in a disposable paper cup. No ceramic cups available still. Food is okay. A resident kookaburra hangs out on the railing overlooking the big lake. Lovely place to stop for a break. ☕ 🌞

The taste is very good, although the portion of rice is too small for man.

used to be good pre-pandemic
now it taste like cheap food with an expensive price tag

ordered pho 15$ iced thai milk tea $5.3

requested no coriander to the cashier lady. she replied there’s only spring onion, no coriander is in the pho. turns out they can’t differentiate between spring onions and coriander

iced thai milk tea- powdered. didnt even mix properly with first sip being powder in my mouth and it stains the cup intensely orange.

beef pho (see pics) - clumped broken noodles (taste more like rice noodle balls), chili wasn’t fresh (gave chili sauce??), 2 pieces of beef slices that were very chewy and 1 beef meatball which is likely frozen.

i wouldn’t eat it again even if it was free.
