Beautiful forest scenery, fast flowing mountain streams, and wonderful trails connecting most areas of the park.

Minutes from town and there you are in the woods. Lots of trails and an opportunity to take the longer groomed route to the damn and salmon hatchery. A great place to cycle and accessible for all ages and abilities. The parking can get packed though

Great little bike trail. You can do most with a road bike about a 20km round trip. If you have a gravel or mountain bike, there's a single track to the dam. Round-trip is just over 24 km.

Quiet, relaxing hike away from the busy streets, but close to the city.

First time walking around Rice Lake. Well defined trails, not too crowded. Numerous fishers looking to bag the stocked trout. I suspect fly fishing is the way to go

Beautiful place for a walk and the trails are really well looked after - my 86 year old mom had no problems walking there. So peaceful - definately will go back.
