Amazing place for a hike. There are upper and lower parking spaces. There is a cafe and medical office near the entrance to the suspension bridge. Lots of stairs and the trails are well labeled. Summer season can be a bit crowded, especially during weekends.

Stunning. Lots of stairs with this one but for me, it was worth it, even in the rain! Trails are well labeled. We didn't do the entire trail but we spend a good hour or so here. There is a cute little Cafe on site so you can grab a snack, lunch or a warm drink once your done.

Lynn Canyon Park, located in the mountainous area of North Vancouver, is a scenic canyon forest park. It covers an area of 617 acres. It is a popular hiking destination for locals. Walking along the canyon, the sound of rivers and waterfalls resound through the sky, and the depth of the canyon reaches 150 feet. Looking at the suspension bridge, the water was rapid and turbulent, which was absolutely a truly fantastic show

This free, 600 acre park offers a number of experiences: a suspension bridge, many walking trails (short or long and of varying difficulty), waterfalls, swimming holes and picnic areas. The trails through the lush forest are clear and easy to follow with the map. The river provides a tranquil spot to sit for a while on the boulders. We had our lunch here, accompanied by Douglas Fir squirrels! The area seemed popular with locals and tourists alike. Amenities included toilets, ample parking, and Lynn Canyon Cafe. It was easy to reach the park using public transport from Vancouver city.

Totally worth visiting! First it’s free!!! We gave up going to Capilano Suspension Bridge because it was $60 dollars for the entrance ticket.
Secondly it’s so beautiful. You can just walk around, see the waterfall, maybe swim in the cold water if you dare, there’s some really tall trees. You can walk around with your dog on a leash. You can do the trails, there’s a lot of walking to do and maybe get some coffee in the cafe. It’s a nice experience for a relaxing day.

At 72 years young, I cannot believe it was my first ever visit to Lynn Canyon and I guarantee you it won’t be my last! My twin and I went for 3 hours and 20 minutes; a total of 11,266 steps and a total of 8 km. This place is truly an environmental paradise! We climbed more stairs than I thought possible. Everyone was super friendly and we only got a little lost a few times. I took 176 photos and videos. Here are a few.

I went with a private guide from hi Canada hostels names Erik
He gave as an amazing cheap tour with a lot of stories.
The park was amazing and swimming is definitely recommend!
The water was fresh but really clean.
The hike is medium long and a little bit uneven but for fit sportive people no problem.
Take sun cream and a hat and take care of bears. In small group they might come.
The park it self is amazing with super high trees and a small river and waterfalls everywhere.
Cliff jumping is possible but really dangerous and not recommended.
All in all I can just say how happy I was with my trip and I would do it all over again!
If you can get a tour with Erik then it’s even better then alone !

Enjoy your walk !
