I cannot fault this surgery, the staff on all three practices are excellent, Dr Porter explains things to you, therefore you have a better understanding of your current situation, thank you all so much, all three surgeries for your care and understanding, you have great staff, to me this makes a world of difference, when I call in, thank you 😊

My daughter required an emergency injection. Not only did they provide above and beyond care. My daughter became very poorly and unresponsive ( she was breathing) the amazing nurse on duty was outstanding and a male nurse that then came to help. The receptionist was also truly amazing and went above and beyond. We came back a little over two hours later and more tests were completed. What an amazing team Heatherside are and I can not thank them enough for everything they did for my daughter yesterday and giving myself piece of mind.

Ridiculous! Seriously the service is a 1 star you have to wait literally *at least* 30 minutes! Unbelievable!

Oh Dear, what an unmitigated DISASTER! I am no longer able to see my GP. The surgery has been bought and abandoned by who knows who? They didn't even bother to let me know. The only way to contact them is by telephone, and they KNOW from my records that I have a big problem with that. Definitely not a good surgery any more.
Originally established by Dr Roger Cooper (RIP). Myself and my now much extended family have been using the services of Heatherside Surgery since 1984. Doctors Stephen Williams, Lisa Linsky et. al. and the Nurses and ALL of the staff there are always professional, kind, considerate and very caring. They have looked after my wife and I, our three children (now adults), and our grand-children superbly well. I wholeheartedly recommend this Surgery.
Just one minor grumble from this old codger... if they could please enable the "online patient access messaging and/or records" features... now THAT would be worth another star!
UPDATE: 16/1/18: I have now learned that the surgery DID trial the patient/surgery message facility, but they were too busy to use it. (sigh). I waited many minutes to ask the question as reception was being kept busy by incessant incoming phone calls.
To: Drs Williams & Linsky: As I cannot contact you except by personal visit (= wait for a friend to bring me in their car... = horrible waste of fuel etc. resource)
or by phone... (= I have issues as you know) ... (AND = that is possibly why the trial failed...) ... If Google maps approve it, I will make you an offer right here 😉 : either pop round when you are out and about, or even email me. Before getting fired for being ill, I was the EU IT manager at the UK sub. of a Major USA corp. I am currently available free of charge to assist you any way that I can to implement the messaging.
The online appointments and prescription features work extremely well. For example with a single tap or click you can copy an appointment to your Google calendar. Very useful. 👍
