I had roti telur goyang with Vietnamese kopi, I love the egg how it's just not so soft and once u start to eat it it will not coz this mess like usual when I eat half bolid egg.. perhaps next time I will try others type of roti and kopi
Have to wait for a little bit as expected as the place is popular. Fast service once you placed the order. Portion is good and taste also good. I tried Vietnamese coffee 2, and it's good. Recommended to try it.
Tldr; food was okay but NOT worth queuing for, but service was ridiculous and lacks common sense.
Kacang pool: okay, wish the egg was soft cooked though
Roti goyang: tastes as how you would expect bread and eggs to taste like
Mi kari: i liked it, reminds you of your school canteen mi kari
Green tea: this is one of those fancy green teas with milk etc. a bit sweet, definitely not healthy
Kopi: too sweet
Nasi lemak: okay, not spicy
Arrived at 7.45am on a sunday, was early enough to not need to queue. Had to queue for around 10mins, food arrived within 10mins after placing order.
Main complaint was with the absolute ridiculousness of the waiters & their service. We clearly indicated & wrote on the chit that we did not want the coffee to be stirred, to control the sweetness of the beverage. When it did come, the drink was stirred, and it was of course too sweet, so we asked for a little bit of hot water to dilute it. But they kept refusing, saying they were not able to not-stir the coffee (wth?), they could not make a new drink coz we had taken a (tiny) sip of our drink (again, wth? We clearly wrote to not stir the drink to begin with), and that if we wanted hot water, no matter how little, we would have to pay.
No common sense. Food is just okay, and it is definitively not worth it to queue to eat here.
Interior of the restaurant is plain, no decoration whatsoever. Would not recommend.

One of the local eateries place. Mee Kari not meets my preference. Other such kacang pool is goooddd. Must try. Weekend or public holiday get ready to line up yaaa.

But the mi kari must be eaten straightaway, if left it will become salty. The kari ayam from roti benggali kari ayam itself i love it, it doesnt taste too lemak nor too salty, wish they can have roti jala in their menu.
They are very considerate for placing chairs outside for queueing customers.
However some staff are rude, need more training for basic customer training and educate some common sense.
Situations:
1. The staff accidentally spilled the eggs from roti telur goyang for other tables on our feet while serving the table, no apologies given despite seeing it happen and made eye contact. She panicked and proceeded ran away and asked other staff to clean the mess. However, after panicking, there is no apologies given.
2. Missing orders for our tables, the other foods served except for 2. We asked in case it was missed. The staff went to kitchen and checked, came with another staff, to explain that it is due to change of tables. We changed tables upon payments as recommended and agreed with the cashier and serving staff. The staff in charge already change table number on our receipt and informed the kitchen. Other foods served correctly except for 2 only. If it is due to change of table, how did other foods served with no confusions?
3. We proceed showing our receipts and showing one by one food on our table, the staff just get annoyed and rolled her eyes before she left.
Was it necessary? No.
Any apologies? No.
Admit own mistake? No.

My go to place for breakfast. My favourite dishes are kacang pool, roti dengan kari ayam and roti telur goyang. Green tea is also a must try!
Reviewing this food makes me want to come back again! The kacang pool is delicious, I couldn't find anything as tasty as this in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. The bread is also soft. Additionally, the chicken curry is also delicious. Highly recommended to come here!
