The young kid was great, friendly and accommodating, came here twice and was served by him.

Baked goods are my weakness and found out their sausage rolls were available, meaty and juice with flakey pastry. You gotta have tomato sauce with your pies/sausage rolls.

Wonderful location and food. I had the chicken pie, brocoli sides and rice pudding. The pie was obviously really light (dough was flacky) and inside light. Chicken was really good.
The best was my rice pudding. Creative, tasty mixing sweet and sour. Just loved it!

We were staying at the London Edition. Breakfast was included, so we had our morning coffee and food there three days in a row. The staff was nice and greeted us before seated. The breakfast options were many and easy to choose from. The interior was stunning and inspiring, especially we were designers.

The best after dessert is the chef's special crepe!!!

It's great that the bartender is quite engaging; and I do appreciate that the servers spend a bit of time to slowly explain the dishes.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was so outstanding, I can still remember how that ravioli tasted and the best tarte tatin I've had. The service was on point and a really great ambiance with the subtle lighting, a couch that's embracing you towards a beautiful city view.

was famished after exploring daunt books at cheapside so decided to have pie for dinner. the walk was rewarding because we ended up at a proper pie eatery. a very fancy, upscale restaurant - didn't realise this when we were searching for dinner options. great ambience with warm lighting. tried the chicken and beef pies along with broccoli on the side. they were very inviting and palatable. you can ask for bread (£4) while waiting for the pies to be served. while it states that waiting time is up to 30 mins, our pies came less than 10mins after our orders.

just a note to use the main door which is located at the entrance of the building (as shown in the photo) we almost used the side door which displays the kitchen.

We had dinner here. The place is very nice and well-decorated. The food, too, was delicious. The service, though, was not up to the looks and vibes of the place. There was no smile from the employees whatsoever; for example, we had to order the check three times to receive it. One of the employees was quite rude. Only the young man who waited for us was the good person to have received service from.

Beautiful ambiance. Mouth watering food (best eggs royale I tasted ever)! Also generous - with plain croissant you get three jams & butter. Lovely, attentive, staff - shout out to Hristomir! 10/10

Just wow! What an amazing dinner experience we had, truly loved it:) The food was just delicious and the service was very nice and kind of on your level compared to other Michelins star restaurants. It’s not a snobbish environment that you’re used to see in these types of restaurants. We went for the big tasting menu and took a bottle of Chablis.

*The only note I would like to point out and a small detail I didn’t really “like” was the upselling. So you get a menu and then few dishes have additional charge to add truffles or caviar. Honestly when you get a tasting menu this isn’t something that should be there. And plus it’s awkward when you’re on a date to say okay I want this and that but not the latter. This is the only thing I’m pointing out because other than that it’s flawless.

Great vibes. Food was really good, just a touch pricey for what you get. Overall thoroughly enjoyed. Do recommend. Would rate 4.5/5 but not an option.

It was a great experience and a memorable day. We visited for my Birthday; it was a great location with breathtaking views and a great experience from the entrance to the end; it was Good.
The food was excellent, and they did a nice touch for the birthday celebration; the only issue was the long wait for the drinks…Each time, I needed to hope someone would come…As you have a waiter assigned to you to deliver the dishes to your table, Sasha, I think it was ours; he was very polite and knowledgeable and explained all the dishes upon serving them.

Very cosy, suitable for business meetings or romantic nights, we spend around £300 - 2 people.

The area that Could/should improve will be drinks - As we struggled to get the drinks going on our table, even asked multiple people but never got the drinks, ...they did not live up to their overall standards. Had to wait a long time to get seen or be able to ask for more drinks - Or could they have someone go around to ensure tables are not lagging?

We went to the Clove Club to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From beginning to when you leave the staff is great. From the dining room you have front row seats to the open kitchen that works like clockwork. All dishes were nicely balanced and taste is impeccable. There were some unexpected combinations which all worked great together. Some reviews mention price, but it’s in line with other 2 michelin star restaurants we’ve been to. Maybe not fir people who love classic solid food, but if you like pure ingredients and unexpected combos this restaurant should be on you your list.

Really excellent pies, savory starters, and polished deserts. Decor to impress. Wonderful service too. But all commensurate with the price. Consequently, although I really enjoyed my visit: not brilliant value. Particularly not the wine.

Truly specular meal. Went for lunch and had the short tasting menu bc I was pressed for time. Wonderful flavors and beautiful presentation. Didn't think I'd enjoy the habenero granita or warm potato mousse as much as I did. Really wish I was able to experience the full tasting menu. I guess that means I need to come back! The best meal of week-long trip in London.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here. We were late to our booking, but they hadn’t given our table away, so that was lucky. We were informed that they needed our table back at the original time still though. The staff were all lovely, our waiter Momo was very attentive, but not overbearing. The view is fantastic. It was very dimly lit and I could see myself tripping on the way to our table, but I managed no to. It was quite dark all the way through dinner, and the music was slightly too loud, I guess that would be the only fault. Our order was taken promptly. We had 2 non-alcoholic cocktails, which were very tasty, though 1 was quite small, the size of a champagne glass. We had the halibut with green beans and the beef, with broccoli. Both were very tasty and flavoursome. As desert we had 2 Shards, both fantastic, a great choice. We also got 2 small chocolates and congratulations on our anniversary so that was surprising and nice. A great experience, I can’t fault it. Staff was lovely, atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic. Would recommend. We paid £220 so… it was worth it.

We visited The Pie Hole takeaway... £13 may sound a lot for a pie, but they're very filling AND incredibly well made with premium ingredients. Honestly, it was the best pie I'd ever eaten. Well worth a visit to pick up a cheeky takeaway.

I was a bit disappointed with my vegetarian lunch. I was there with a friend for my birthday and we had a three course set lunch. It is obviously a very expensive place to eat but I didn't feel like the food was worth the money. I had potato gnocchi with mushrooms and it was a bit like a tin of mushroom soup. The desert was excellent.

I surprised my friend and booked the weekend brunch with wine paring. I read the reviews and wasn’t expecting too much from the food as it was suggested that you’re paying for the views, but the food was absolutely delicious! Our experience was amazing from start to finish. Our waiter Antonio was so friendly and knowledgeable - he was very patient and helped us chose our dishes and wines. He also arranged for a lovely table in the bar area after. We came for brunch and stayed for most of the evening. All the staff were very attentive, I’m going to book again and bring my husband later this month.

Well deserved Michelin stars especially with a great venue, attentive service, superb food and an overall memorable experience. I enjoyed a lot of the seafood dishes, and appreciate the balance between exquisite ingredients and classics.

Our first experience of a Michelin star restaurant and I have to say it was a very enjoyable experience. It's not something I would do very often, as of course you might expect it's quite expensive. However, the whole experience was excellent, from the food and service to the amazing views that you get by being on the 24th floor in a tower block. A great place to visit for a special occasion, this was my sons 21st birthday.

It was the best restaurant I have ever gone to. The theme of using leftovers and 'having a bit of fun with it' was really creative and good for the environment. The snacks and the non-main course dishes they offered and the idea of 'taking you along the UK' (all sorts if food found around the UK) was extremely creative. The presentation of the food was nice, the atmosphere, attitude of the waiters, and everything was perfect in general. I will come back again to eat! P.S. The head chef is good looking.

We just had a wonderful lunch here. We had the set menu, and it was all delicious. We were served by Gonzalo who was super friendly and helpful!

My sea bass was delicate. However the soufflé with black cherry sorbet was disappointing at best. Although the texture was perfect, no flavor at all. Plus, presentation was just ok. That’s why I give it 4 stars.

The most incredible pies. The lamb was my favourite. An absolute delight. If you’re reading this review, you must come here and see/taste for yourself. It’s quite obvious why Calum Franklin is the pie king of the world.

My first visit to the Shard was a wonderful and memorable experience. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff, delicious food, and stunning views of London. I loved the menus for both food and drink. Service was fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. Portions are on the small side (the only reason I can't give 5 stars for the food subcategory on this review), but everything else was flawless. My friend and I stayed for nearly two hours and had a great time. We would definitely return some time.

Beautiful place. We had 2 courses lunch. Starting with beef tartare and prawn cocktail, and both were delicious. Main dishes were also good, but I really loved the starters.

It's the best meal I've had in a long while.
Everything was faultless food wise. My highlights were probably the risotto and the lemon parfait but I also thoroughly enjoyed the rabbit ballotine and the lamb (three ways) which was cooked to perfection. 10/10 experience.
To top it all off, as well as a great settings with amazing views, the service matched the food quality to be equally excellent (great recommendations from our very friendly, but not overbearing, waiting staff).
Lovely evening on all accounts, I'll be back.

I had a beautiful surprise when my family took me for a three course meal at Aqua Shard. The view was breathtaking, and the service was amiable. Special compliment to our gracious waiter, Francesco, who was very supportive throughout our experience. Each course was tasty. The pairing of wines with each course was spot on, and the cocktails had us buzzing. I highly recommend this place not only for a special occasion but also for a treat to yourself. Even the bathroom was worth visiting. Top class service from start to finish. I will definitely go back soon with friends 🥰

A 2 michelin star dining experience well worth its position at the top of the world's 50 best list in the UK. 5 stars.

We arrived and were seated to a central table in front of a window in the main dining room, with a handwritten card from the staff congratulating us on a special milestone. Staff were friendly and attentive, but relaxed throughout and made us feel at home. No dish from the fresh seafood leaning menu disappointed but the hot smoked Wiltshire trout with Oscietra caviar and Cornish sardine sashimi were my personal favourites. A lovely bottle of white burgundy (very reasonably priced for a 1er cru) recommended by the sommelier paired well with the course of the meal with champagne by the glass to start with the pre-menu snacks.

I couldn't recommend The Clove Club more highly to anyone looking for a British fine dining experience second to none.

Had such a great fine dining experience here. I went for dinner with my colleagues on a Thursday evening. We were able to watch the sunset, the views were incredible. Service was truly excellent from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Our waiter, Joe, was fantastic and made great recommendations throughout, despite us asking too many questions. Every item we tasted was presented beautifully and tasted exquisite. A heads up, this is fine dining so if you're looking for cheap and huge portions, this is not for you. But if you're looking for quality it's perfect.

had a wonderful date night at Ormer Mayfair. Went for the full tasting menu which had a few courses that were recently replaced. All the courses were excellent, no exception. Well executed, harmonious, wonderfully presented dishes, some quite original. The service was great - attentive, well paced and friendly. The design of the place felt a bit old, and the music volume was very low to the point you can hardly here it with chatter from the other tables becoming more prominent. The music itself that was playing wasn't really around a different theme or genre. The speakers also sounded a bit flat. This should be improved. Other than that, a really exceptional dinner. Highly recommended.

It was the most lovely experience. If you want a fine dining experience with a really comfortable relaxed, yet still very grand surroundings - you must come here. It was a truly remarkable evening.

The dishes were something we’d never tasted. It was the first time we’d left a tasting menu feeling comfortable but fully content and well fed. The dishes just keep coming. There are plenty of fish dishes which keeps it light and you feeling good. It was unlike any tasting menu we’ve ever had.

The service was superb. We were wonderfully looked after. Our sommelier had great suggestions. A five star experience.

I have never felt so offended in my life. I went in as a walk in after checking on their website that they do have multiple tables available. I was told by the receptionist that the restaurant was fully booked even after showing him that their website shows availability. I wasn’t able to be seated until I asked for the manager, i have never felt so offended in my life, i honestly feel that the receptionist didn’t want to see just because I was an arab.

Came here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Had an amazing table beside the window, with a mirrored pillar beside us, so it felt like our own private dining area. Despite a rainy evening, we had fantastic views across London. Our waitress was lovely - friendly and attentive. The food was well presented and tasted great. Would be glad to return in future. The winning point here is the location and atmosphere. On the 31st floor you have a great view of london. The setting is quite dark and intimate - with the best seats in the house usually reserved for smaller tables. Bigger groups tend to be placed farther away from the window.
Food wise - it's decent. I'm judging this based on the price. You are clearly paying a premium for the location (as opposed to the food). I felt that the portions were decent, but in general i would have appreciated some more complex plates or perhaps some hard to find offering that could further justify the high prices. The wine list was also decent, but very high markups.
Service was great, staff very helpful, kind and knew their stuff. Of course atmosphere was excellent as well. Overall fun night, a hit to the wallet, but the views and atmosphere compensated.

The atmosphere here is wonderful, creating a really enjoyable dining experience. The service was a mixed bag—some staff were incredibly friendly, while others seemed stressed and gave off the impression they wanted us to hurry up. The food was generally good, with the mac & cheese being the standout dish. Definitely worth a visit.

As a fan of Adam Handling and is innovating cooking on The Great British Menu and Celebrity Masterchef, we finally made it to his flagship, one star Michelin restaurant, The Frog in Covent Garden.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a real treat, and we weren’t wrong

We were warmed to expect a theatrical show, with innovating dishes that have a story behind each dish, and use the finest ingredients from around the UK. Let me tell you, the pics don’t do it justice but we were taken on journey inside Adam’s head and it was simply magical.

As usual, we opted for the tasting menu with matching wine. This has to be one of the best

One highlight for us was the open concept kitchen, where every table seat faces the kitchen so you can watch these talented chefs work their magic.

At the time of drafting our experience, we had just hit the 3 hr mark, and onto the pre desert, which brought out some childhood memories as it include popping candy, loved it…

We will be sticking to tradition, and stumbling out of here.

I have knocked a star off for a factors we felt they missed on the day points that were missed on the sat.

As we sat down, one of the sommeliers came round to offer us a glass of champagne from the trolley. So it was to our surprise that they proceed to charge us £60 for a glass for a bottle that retails at £48.99. This is outrageous and needs to be made clear to guest up front. You set a fault expectation

Secondly, toward the end of the meal, with most guest still in the restaurant, we noticed many of the front our house had disappeared, and it was difficult to get anyone’s attention. I do believe they are not far off a 2 star status, but you can’t go from hero to zero. You need to provide that high level of service throughout the period your guests are with you.

We celebrated my partner's birthday at Ormer and we loved the experience. The place is beautifully decorated, the atmosphere a retro vibe from the 40s, with lighting and decoration carefully thought of and designed. We had a five course menu paired with wine, the food was excellent with a special mention for the mackerel and the lamb, exquisite flavours and textures made in heaven.
As for the wine pairing menu, the choices were clearly made to put all the lights on the food with a good balance of classics and less known wines. I really enjoyed it and on a next visit, I'd love to see some more bolder options. The portuguese vinho verde, from the Loureiro grape and the Pouilly-Fumé wouldbe great additions :-)

Took a mate here for his 40th bday. Was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. He got the wine pairing and I got the tea pairing (not something I have ever heard of before!). All really enjoyable and delicious. All the staff were excellent and the young sommelier was pretty hilarious.

I gotta be honest tho this is the most I have ever spent on a meal in my life. It is deffo not cheap. The bill came to ~850 for 2.

This place is 'something else'. Not cheap at all but worth every penny. No a la carte, only tasting menus: including vegetarian. They do 'wine pairings' but the very knowledgeable sommelier, Fabio, will guide you to some great wines by the glass if you give him some idea of what you want. Quite quiet with a limited number of tables but that's no bad thing sometimes. Service informed and spot on. My husband and I went twice for our birthdays to Ormer. It was an unforgettable experience. The food is outstanding and better than some food served in Michelin stars. The service was excellent: Matteo was our waiter, he was very professional, kind and very knowledgeable. Speaking to him was a real pleasure. Some of the best food I’ve had in the UK. I was extremely impressed with Angler, I was a bit worried as our group had a set menu as I can be a bit picky but wow, I kept trying things and was just so impressed with how much flavor everything had. It was nice having the chef come explain every dish but we still had no idea what we were eating with some dishes. Partially because of his accent but also likely largely because of the different names and foods that we just don’t know.

A sophisticated and upscale cocktail lounge with a focus on craft cocktails. The mixologists skillfully crafted unique and visually stunning drinks that were a feast for the senses. The elegant ambiance and top-notch service made it an ideal choice for a refined night out.

The Sunday Roast was excellent and easily our favorite meal of the vacation. Felt reasonably priced. The lamb was exquisite with the gravy, the cheese cauliflower was delicious and unique, and the rest complemented the meal well. The decor is also great and very clean. I would come back again!

Absolutely incredible! One of the best meals I've ever eaten, in a wonderful setting with the most wonderful service and an amazingly talented kitchen team. The scallop dish was probably the best plate of food I've eaten. Absolutely magical. Can't recommend them enough!

Food:
I feel that the non-vegetarian options are exceptional cos my dinner companion was pretty satisfied with the food, but the vegetarian degustation menu had its hits and misses. Some dishes stood out with their unique flavours and presentation, while others fell short of expectations. The vegetarian options could benefit from more consistency and refinement.

Overall:
It was a memorable dining experience with its elegant ambience, impeccable service, and innovative cuisine.

It would be wonderful to see a more delicate balance between creativity and preserving the core flavors of the ingredients. Overall the food is hard to swallow.

If you are looking for THE FOOD AND DRINK EXPERIENCE this is the place. Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere and really friendly and professional staff.

Wow, wow, wow — simply spoiled from start to finish! Interesting tea and wine pairing, give it a try if it’s still on the menu.

Pro-tip: the restaurant isn’t within the town hall building itself but next door in a building of its own.

Expect to spend at least £300+ on the tasting menu with the welcome champagne, beverage pairing, coffee/tea.

I booked a ten-course tasting menu for my partner's birthday last week and we enjoyed most dishes. Their starters are to die for, although we were not too keen on the sea bass tartare - a bit "too raw". We also had a complimentary glass of Nyetimber sparkling wine each - which was a lovely gesture. The two desserts on the menu were definitely the highlight - we both loved them and the complimentary chocolates at the end of the meal wowed us even more.
The only downside of our dining experience was that I felt quite ill and had an upset stomach shortly after. I can't blame the food as my partner was fine, so clearly, something didn't agree with me.
The service was outstanding - our waiter (French, based on the accent) really looked after us and was rather entertaining.
You also get some nice views from the 7th floor of the restaurant. I would definitely inject more colours into the decor but I guess it's meant to be kept that fresh when the food is of such an amazing presentation and quality.

Superlative in every way and deserving of its praise. Rare to experience such a brilliant degustation in a down-to-earth and relaxed setting. The staff are as good as the food - world class.

Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. Each course was so well executed and thought out. The details were perfect. The service was above and beyond and the cocktails were fabulous. Really, really great time here! This was great for a vegetarian as the vegetarian tasting menu was perfect.

Food was very nice but somehow not premium enough in my eyes to match the price. For example this dessert was quite dry. Service was great, though service charge appeared to be calculated wrongly as it was more than 12.5% so watch out for this.

British nose-to-tail cooking at its very finest, Adam has constructed a line up of low-mileage delights that surprise and delight at every corner and will leave you feeling stuffed to the brim with creativity, technique and dollops of flavour.

Special attention goes to the service, which was the very best combination of respectful, empathetic and engaging. It is refreshing to go on a fine dining experience and instantly feel that every single member of staff is equally passionate and proud about the project, and not shy to share their enthusiasm.

The cocktail bar downstairs is a great place for an after-dinner drink. The cocktails are inspired by (and largely made from) the cut offs out of the upstairs kitchen, while the staff here is equally at tentative, even at midnight on a Saturday.

This is pricey eating, but for a very good reason.

Always a pleasure to be back and be taken great care by the team! The space is cosy, the service is excellent, and the food is hands down one of the most unique yet familiar I’ve experienced. It may be a little off the beaten path to head over the Shoreditch, but it is well worth the effort. A big shoutout to chef Rhys and his team for executing a smashing degustation menu, Keith for the wine pairing and extensive knowledge, and Paolo and his colleagues for a seamless and joyful service!

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had, with very inventive dishes and wonderful service! I went alone and had the dinner tasting menu. Sometimes, I find that it's a bit awkward doing tasting menus alone, but the server was fantastic and was just the right amount of talkative.
There were some absolutely phenomenal courses (e.g. broccoli, trout), some great courses (e.g. lettuce/cauliflower, lamb), but also some misses for me (including the scallop supplement). Overall, I really enjoyed the food and thought it was well worth the price. On top of that, the atmosphere and service were top notch, making this one of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had.

Elegant and refined. A nice boutique restaurant away from the crowds. Very friendly and professional service. The pasta dishes were exceptional. The ch. d’Yquem on the dessert menu was a real treat. Definitely on the list for a return visit.

We had the most wonderful meal. We felt so relaxed enjoying the amazing flavours in the beautiful setting. As a vegetarian I was very impressed that every dish was both absolutely delicious and completely different. Often vegetarian tasting menus rely very heavily on mushrooms, but yours was so much more. And it perfectly matched the meat tasting menu my friend had. However what really blew us away was the exceptional service and kindness. Accommodating our theatre trip was like nothing we had experienced before and we were so grateful. We can’t wait to come back!

Review is for Sunday roast, my first ever. What I was served was good, though for the price I probably should have tried the a la carte menu which may have been more interesting. The chicken and potatoes and veg were all perfectly fine, but nothing to get super excited about. Well executed but a bit soulless. Only realized afterwards that I wasn’t provided Yorkshire pudding, which is listed on the menu and my receipt, and I hear an essential part of a Sunday roast. And when paying 30 pounds for a glass of wine, it feels a bit like being nickel and dimed to be charged a 2 pound “cover charge” and for the carafe of water.

A great place to visit with stellar views over the city of London. We booked the bar. I've visited the bar before and knew what to expect, but tonight the service was a little slow. We ordered food, unfortunately we did not get to eat it as I had an emergency call and had to leave immediately, but we explained this to the staff and we only got charged for the drinks and the nibbles we had. Atmosphere is great, but the music was a bit too loud for my liking. Food here is great, the bar menu is small, but you will not be disappointed with your order. I'd recommend the fish and chips and the burger. Price-wise, about right for location and type of establishment, but portion sizes are generous and filling.

Another visit for a lovely lunch at the bar. Again no issues with the food or service. I ordered the beef rib and it was delicious! Soft, rich and so flavorful!

Wow what an excellent experience! Everything was perfect from top to bottom, service was great, food was amazing, my allergy was also addressed properly. I'm not a super fan of fish in general but I gotta say, every dish was proving me wrong. Attention to detail is the key to describe the evening, from the graphic design of the menu to the ceramics and plating. The open kitchen is great to watch and they are very quiet. The only small downside was the mocktail olive garden which to me was too olive-y and I couldn't drink it. Atmosphere was nice but maybe the lighting and decor could use some more work to increase the cohesiveness of the experience!
Overall, I would definitely go back!

I just experienced possibly the best restaurant service ever. From doorman to reception, waiter to coat check. Such an immense credit to the place. Food was impeccable too!

This is an unassuming place and the name definitely doesn't do it justice, but that in itself is great.

Came in without a reservation (and not a hotel guest) took a bit of time to be seated but we got a table. Service was very friendly. Seating was comfortable and the space is really nice. We both order pies and we’re not disappointed by the namesake. Very flavorful and cooked to be flaky but not overly done. Very much recommend for a great traditional meat pie!

We had the Sunday roast which is impeccable. Also the slow cooked beef pasta is absolutely amazing (one of the best pastas I have had). The service was brilliant and the staff were very attentive. I would definitely highly recommend

The setting and atomsphere of the dining room is lovely. Friendly Italian waiter full of energy and enthusiasm, eager to please and this is something amazing to see in London restaurants

But the food was awful 😖 😱 the much anticipated pork pie was just really average, nothing to shout home about. The beef Wellington was so so, Gordon Ramsey bread Street kitchen does a much better job. The disaster was the grilled pork chop, super ovet cooked and when arrived on the table it was just warm, and those black pudding and crackling crumbs was meaningless.

Overall a bad meal and not to be repeated

We had the tasting menus, paired with wine. The food was good, tasty and interesting. But it was not wow, it did not blow us away like other Michelin starred restuaurants did.

Excellent service and great tasting menu. We went on a weekday and it was very quiet but the service was excellent throughout.

Almlst 4.5 for me. Almost everything tastes good, but I had higher expectations because of all the ratings and recommendations. And the greasy smell toward the middle of the experience is really distracting..

Sicilian Blood Orange & Fennel Soda is citrusy and subtly sweet. It tastes better when the gas is still there.

The green chicken soup that looks like matcha is a light and appetizing start.

The cold sourdough, however, is a let down.

Snacks: The smoked ricotta bite tastes really good, crispy, melting, gooey, and warm. The classic buttermilk fried chicken is fantastic. Covered in crunchy batter and dill salt, the chicken is very juicy. Beetroot apple gazpacho is less memorable.

Smoked trout with almond brown butter, buttermilk. Love the brown butter and toasted almond. The trout doesn’t taste smoked but is tender and juicy. The caviar from Paris is mellow and melts in mouth. + Sparrow’s tongue (smells sweet and aromatic taste refreshing).

The monkfish is perfectly cooked, plump and slightly springy, not dried out at all. The texture resembles seared scallop. The crispy fish skin and whelp add layers to the texture. + Yame Genmai 八女玄米茶 (toasted rice).

The slow roast lamb is probably the rawest lamb cutlet I’ve head. It is easy to cut and eat nonetheless. The skin is crispy. The warm Italian sauce of anchovy and garlic tastes very nice.+ oolong pipacha 烏龍枇杷茶 (beautiful floral notes).

Grilled HABANERO Granita is quite a nice surprise. The chili-flavored ice is really interesting. The plum sorbet is tastes more like Chinese dark plum than the regular plum fruit here and is very refreshing. The sheep’s milk yoghurt is creamy. Its unique flavor helps to bring the spiciness and fruitiness together. Regular cow milk yoghurt won’t be able to do this. (☆_☆)

Apple tarte tartin has a just right amount of sweetness, though I’d prefer the crust to be less soggy and more crunchy. Enjoyed watching it being cut with a scissor. It was a little difficult to eat only with a spoon and a folk though. A knife would be really helpful. The solid dollop of crème m is too heavy for me. An ice cream or gelato or something even lighter would be more fitting. + white poeny tea

The finishing small bites are alright. Not too sweet or heavy, but not quite special either. One citrusy, one with chili, one with some alcohol taste.

We all liked the macaron-sized mini celebration chocolate mousse cake.

(P.s. would appreciate some more vegetables in the menu for a balanced diet :)

Tea pairing is an interesting idea. The value is debatable.

The service is considerate, friendly and attentive, offering many surprises for my friends’ special occasion. The environment is a bit noisy so some part of the food intro is missed.

From around 8:30 pm, a strong smell of oil cooked in high temperature comes out from the open kitchen from time to time. As some reviews noted, the ventilation should be improved. I am also worried about the staff’s health.

Dinner for four last week. Great food/drink and equally slow service due to a large party and limited staff. Two of us enjoyed the vegan Gratinated Cauliflower Steak and the guys loved their Slow Roast Rump of Lamb. It’s rare that I get to enjoy dairy-free desserts such as their Warm Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Ice Cream. Gin and tonic is my go-to cocktail. It was fun trying their Beefeater Pink gin garnished with fresh raspberries and a bottle of good tonic water. It was a great way to rest our weary feet after a long day of sightseeing. I am glad that we made reservation’s for last Thursday.

We had the tasting menu, with wine pairings, which I can't recommend highly enough!

It was our first visit to a Michelin restaurant, and all the staff made us feel at home quickly. The pace of dinner was great; with seven courses, we were left looking forward to the next course while never feeling overly full, but left not wanting more.

One of the surprising highlights was the bread and butter! The caramelised yeast and malt butter was stunning.

The wines offered a lovely selection of white pairings. The wine pairings were a great way to explore some wines for my guests, with there being a varied selection of tasting profiles.

The atmosphere was quiet for a Friday night in London. There were never more than five tables on at any one time.

My wife and I went here for my birthday and had the 6 course tasting menu. Every course was superb and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. Highly recommended

A delightful tasting menu full of fresh seafood. I am especially happy with the citrus and herbal flavors that played complementary roles with the fish, crab, and langoustine.

By far the standout dish was the fresh codfish. It was fluffy, flaky, lightly buttery, and immaculate. Our dinner party was sure that it was the best cod fish we have tasted ever.

A very close call was the crab with lime sorbet. The flavors were just astounding and invigorating. It made me celebrate with giddiness on the spot.

Service was excellent with our party left with nothing wanting.

Very pleasant restaurant in the middle of a very well decorated hotel. While food was good, it was a little underwhelming- especially for the price. Ordered the scallops tempura with lentil Dahl and wasn't sure what to expect. As the name suggests, the scallops were battered and deep fried and for me, completely lost the delicacy and freshness of the scallop which is a shame. I also thought the lentil Dahl was bland.

Ordered the roast rump of lamp for main and I enjoyed this. Lamb was cooked perfectly and was not too chewy. Ordered the hot chocolate fondant for dessert which was good. While I did enjoy the food overall, I probably won't return.

Service was outstanding and did not disappoint for a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Tasting menu was more than enough portion-wise. Some dishes better than others. The duck broth as an extra dish was a bit disappointing for the price. Overall the venue was cozy and the ambience was calm and nice.

The whole experience was amazing. The food was exquisite and each course was really unique. The pricing is good even if you go for the wine pairing. Would highly recommend for any milestone you want to celebrate or even if you're in the mood to try some exceptional food.

This is a hidden gem. Went there for my birthday.

The place is for special occasions and it is not on the cheap side but hear me out.

It does not have a sophisticated interior, I would even dare to say it is very modest, so this is definitely not a selling point but once you start the chat with the waitress or you see the first dish, you forget about the walls or anything that is around you really 😅

So we had a 10 course tasting menu. The food was sophisticated, in addition it was paired with special wine, so we ended up trying a few types of wine and I think that is the moment I really felt how much of a difference it makes to choose the right wine for the right dish (or the other way around 😅).

Even though I am not much of a wine lover or that kind of sophisticated food, I enjoyed the experience very much.

An amazing British experience. The staff was very lovely and explained every dish that came out. They used all locally sourced produce and the meal was excellent. It was a little quieter when we went mid afternoon, so it felt like he had a private experience. The aesthetic of the restaurant matched the food in that it was clean and beautiful with a scandi feel.

Just fantastic - can't recommend it highly enough. Go now before it moves from Michelin-listed to Michelin-starred. Incredibly complex, creative, thoughtful, and delicious food, knowledgeable staff, and a beautifully intimate space - a meal to remember!

Hands down one of the best food experiences I have had. The food is perfectly made and looks beautiful, and the kindest waitress ever made everything so much more enjoyable. Food is beautiful, I really am speechless. If you have the opportunity to visit, please do so!

We had the lunch Tasting Menu and everything was so delicate and delicious. I think it is extremely difficult to use simple ingredients and make something divine but the chef clearly prioritized the quality and the flavors are there. It was so hard to select a favorite dish because they are all unique but the cauliflower with apple and cream was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed the dessert too, feeling like kids again & playing at breaking the top. The staff was very welcoming, took time to explain the dishes and super friendly. We also very much loved the atmosphere (very intimate and good light) and music (we wished we could have saved some of them - these and probably bringing one of their bottle of wines home).

Beautiful interiors, not too over fussy, very British and love the design around horses and horse guards...We ate at the restaurant as part of a Birthday treat for my best friend. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and professional as well as masked 😷 up. We even got a lovely personal message on my Instagram page from the Hotel wishing my best friend a lovely birthday and happy to be a part of it...lovely touch

Had the 5 course tasting lunch - was a fantastic experience. Service was top notch, food was excellent.

The fish especially deserves a special mention. The meat was firm and tender, the skin was crisp throughout. I don’t take red meat and the kitchen was very kind to switch it to a vegetarian dish for me instead.

Lovely looking place, really nice and cozy, lots of places to gather and sit for a relaxing pre-dinner drink. We had a voucher gift of a three course meal with champagne as an Anniversary gift. We loved the whole experience and would certainly recommend. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Take care when ordering water... ask for tap water each time you order more water, if that's what you want, otherwise you'll automatically get charged for bottled water. Otherwise all was perfectly good. 🌼

This place is simply divine. The scallop for starter, the plaice, the pork belly for mains, the guava sorbet, the chocolate brownie for dessert are all impeccable. If the bread and butter were warm, then it would be absolutely perfect experience. Also, the service was really nice and friendly, and atmosphere was really casual and enjoyable. We had a 3 course meal with a glass of champagne for £37.5 . Definitely will come back for more surprise and recommend to friends who enjoy great food.
