Great clinic, the receptionist was very professional and friendly. also dr.Mohammad Imana took his time to explain everything to us and was very kind.

I walked in to this clinic and they have 2 clinics there. Both of them rejected walk-in as Dr said I only take my own patients. How is it ethical, you post sign Walk-in but refuse the Service?!

Two bad experiences. One for myself where i had an ear wax build up and the doctor looked in my ear and said she saw nothing and gave me ear drops which I used for 5 days before realizing it wasn’t working and I went to another doctor who quickly diagnosed and flushed my ear within 5 minutes. The worse experience was for my sister who had horrible stomach pain and they only took a urine sample and then never told her that she had to call back or how long it would take. They gave her medication and for 5 days nothing got better so she went back for the results and the receptionist said they were never going to call and its her responsibility and she didn’t seem to care how much pain my sister was in at all.

I absolutely love Dr. Hadi and her staff. Friendly, efficient and just overall amazing! Thank you to Suki as well for all your hard work! I’m so grateful to have Dr. Hadi as my family doctor, she is wonderful!

Been trying to get an appointment since Dec 26th 2023, but they NEVER answer the phone! book online? sure, but then the call back the next day while I'm sleeping, THEN I CAN NEVER GET THEM TO PICK UP when I call back. This is idiotic! Dr. Imana took me on as a patient, and I can't even make an appt.

I have never had a problem with the receptionists lol. Of course people are going to complain on google if they've had a terrible experience more so than people who have good experiences - which isn't to say that their bad experiences aren't valid (especially the ones about being put on hold constantly, questionable/crabby attitude, difficulties with faxing prescriptions, etc. because yeah that's annoying if you want a fuss-less doctor's visit) - I just think if you can be empathetic to the office's situation it is much easier to forgive. This office is one of the only Chinese doctors in the city, and they are doing their best to serve this community. The receptionists have been really sweet to me, albeit a little rushed sometimes, but they deal with a lot of people so it's nothing personal.
My only gripe is the constant need to come back for follow-up appointments for tests just to be told everything is great. I have to drive 15 mins for a 2 min appointment when it could have been a phone call/email. I think I should only be notified if my results show I have issues and actually need some kind of follow-up with the doctor.

Dr. Hadi is good and has been our family doctor since we moved to Ontario. This review is for the receptionist who typically manages the front desk (apologies I never got her name as she has never been anything but rude), she is extremely rude and aggressive. She doesn’t collaborate and is condescending. I feel physically ill when I have to speak with her. It’s unfortunate as the Health Centre is really good but what is sad is that there doesn’t seem to be any recourse as I don’t see any email in the website where I can share feedback and when I try and connect to other Staff who are absolutely lovely, she refuses to pass the phone.

Best place EVER! The staff here is so nice and very welcoming. I fell asleep during my cleaning ! Lol I am going to make my family switch and I'm telling everyone! It's actually a pleasant experience if you go to this dentist!

When I first called to ask if they were taking any precautions, they said they required a Covid test. Cool!
I get there and it turns out the tests are self reported. Receptionists sitting there maskless, the pharmacist coughing/sneezing his head off - maskless, of course.
Doctor - yes, you guessed it - maskless and breathing literally down your throat. It totally felt violating.
In times where we are in yet another wave AND Covid is the 3rd leading cause of death, you’d think that a doctor would have enough respect for patients to take some precautions.
Zero testing recommended, no diagnosis AND high Covid risk - that’s what I gained from my visit to this place. Never again - I felt very unsafe.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Goyal. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer every question I had along with being able to explain things to me. He’s very respectful, patient and attentive to all of my concerns. I highly recommend him as a family doctor

I’m beyond grateful to this clinic and its staff. Since I had my baby, my experience with other walk in clinics has been horrible, many of those clinics usually didn’t want to attend my baby because of his fever. Luckily I’ve crossed along with Square One Health Group, from the moment I walked in with my son (who had been having fever for couple of days) Norma, at the reception was very nice and welcoming. My son had a rapid Covid test done, and with the negative result, was quickly checked in to see a doctor. DR. Shahid , was very professional and I loved the way she treated my son. I even got the medicine she prescribed at the pharmacy located at the same place, and from the moment that I walked in , everything was done within less than an hour. I’m very happy and thankful to everyone in this clinic. Highly recommended !!!!

This is a tight knit community for patients who can’t speak English as well and can see doctors in Mississauga that have staff that can speak Cantonese and Mandarin. I understand where the reviews are coming from in receptionists trying to get things done fast, and sometimes that skips out manners, but it’s efficient. I have been with this clinic for over 20 years and definitely remember my previous doctor being super Chinese auntie judgemental for being a little over the BMI, especially when the standard BMI isn’t the standard for most of Asian decent. Since her retirement, I’ve had Dr. Christina Fung as my doctor, and she’s an incredible and caring family doctor. Willing to delve into how your life is going and also work with our interests of staying healthy in mind.
A lot of the culture of the clinic might be seen as “toxic”, but you have to understand that’s kind of the Chinese culture, which I get is no excuse. I also get that the norm these days are I’m always right, and Karen it out, but I think we can do better to build better relationships with people that serve us at the clinic and vice versa. If you don’t want to build on those skills, then I would say this clinic isn’t for you. Please also understand not everyone can do everything all at once, so give some grace and patience to see tasks done, like sending prescriptions (although i normally just ask for the paper and go to my own pharmacy). I do like how they try to have a younger generation help in the clinic for coordinating patients in rooms and measuring blood pressure, don’t just bash on the older ladies at reception, consider these people too.
They book people back to back because that’s the only way a clinic can run with the Health system in Canada, unless you want to be sitting for 8 hrs at the ER for some care, which might send you back to the clinic. Not to mention there are some people who don’t show up, time is precious for healthcare.
It’s also super hard to find a family doctor now, but being with this clinic for so many years has grandfathered my husband into the clinic, and hopefully in the future, kids.
Honestly, if you leave this clinic, there will be more room for others to join, so please find one that will suit your liking so other people who want to find a family doctor can.

Dr.Sunita is my children's doctor and she is an amazing Doctor, she answers all my questions about my kids. I needed a referral my daughter and with in one week I got an appointment. I have seen the other doctors as walk in they are excellent. There is a bit of waiting time even with appointment which is normal anywhere you go there's a wait time. Also to nurse Rachel thank you very much for given my baby his first few injections There was no problem afterwards. Also their pharmacy is great.

My family members have been seeing doctors at Dixie medical for over 20 years. I had a few family doctors before I started to see doctors at Dixie Medical. All I can tell you is that the quality of care they gave are the best. The nurses and office staff are very helpful too.

Terrible clinic.Dr Zando has no empathy.My husband was referred to Dr Zando by Dr. Imman for a suspicious lesion on his head.During his initial visit Dr.Zando performed a biopsy and told him it was most likely skin cancer. She told him the biopsy results would take two weeks.The day before we were scheduled to go back for results her office called to reschedule that appointment, which meant delaying results by another two weeks.We insisted we wanted the results since she had them.She agreed to see us as scheduled. During that appointment Dr Zando told us “I’m so happy when I’m right”. Not once,but twice.We were appalled by her comment. It was callous, and unprofessional. She has little empathy for the patient who was just delivered a cancer diagnosis.She failed to explain the diagnosis, treatment or prognosis.A doctor’s attitude can affect a patient’s emotional disposition, and heighten their anxiety.We told Dr Imman we were not happy with Dr Zando.We left with more questions than answers.

My husband was booked for surgery within one week of the referral. I was looking for a family doctor - called the clinic asking if they take patients. The clinic told me to apply online. I applied and got a call back from them saying that they will take me as a patient and asked me to book and appointment online. I booked an appointment - showed up at the clinic 3-4 weeks later to find out that they cancelled my appointment. They mentioned that I didn't respond to an email that they sent. Apparently, the front office staff are allowed to cancel patient appointments without letting their own patients know. Not a call - or confirmation about anything. This is an absolutely embarrassment to Canada's health care system. Unbelievable and absolutely disgraceful.

This is the most in professional clinic. The front desk has the worst people skills I have ever had to deal with. My family will never step foot in this place. Don't understand how they still have people going there. Going to a walk in clinic you are treated better. The sad part is there are good Doctors there. I have been coming to this clinic since 2020, always have been coming with at appointment They have been on time for appointments during covid!! But since a few months have been coming with appointments for my son my wife and myself but we always have to wait just like a walk in clinic waiting for 1 1/2 to 2 hour!!! Could you all please explain what is the point of booking an appointment in advance & then the waiting game !! And every room has a sign “To help keep our doctors on time please limit the discussion to 1-2 concerns per visit” NICE your time is money!! Ours is not!! Thank you for the reminder!! This doctor’s clinic is the absolute worst, I don’t know why my parents continue going to them. They are always requesting you to go in for simple things like prescription refills. The receptionist struggles to fax things properly to the respective pharmacies as advised. I left this clinic long before the new doctors arrived and now I’m hearing they’ve still got the same issues - especially the terrible reception team and Dr Christina Fung. I’d stay away if I were you and find a more professional medical establishment that isn’t just out to make a buck or two by getting you to go in for excessive appointments that are not needed so they get paid.

My mother is ALWAYS waiting for Dr. Fung to send her prescription refill to the pharmacy. This happens constantly with her but she always reassures that she has sent it. My mother is in pain when she doesn’t take her meds — it’s been 2 weeks since they said they sent it. Unbelievable how careless these people are. They jam pack their schedules back to back.

This doctor is a heartless person who should be ripped out of his professional label and legalities to healthcare. Denying healthcare to someone who is un vaccinated in itself is in just, whilst snoozing at his desk getting paid for hours of ignorance and self absorption. While there are people working so hard to become doctors and nurses and score positions in offices, we have useless doctors such as him. People go to a doctors office to feel safe and heard of what is going on with their bodies, not to be turned away on walk- in or appointment for declining what they feel could be harmful to themselves or others ( Vaccine). In general so many people have bad experiences with a doctor, but there should not be a situation where one feels discriminated against or judged in any way. This doctor does not deserve his title or privileges. Absolutely disgusted.

Not following ethics of a true doctor, you’re supposed to treat your patients no matter they’re vaccinated or not, he just refused to look for a patient just because he wasn’t vaccinated. It is extremely disgusting and breaks my heart. Will not recommend him to anyone.

Yesterday I took my daughter to Dr. Kelly Sun. Dr. Sun invested time to address our concerns and explained medication options and the next steps that needed to be taken. The receptionist is also very kind and ensures to fulfill her part of the service with utmost care in this busy clinic.

5 stars for the doctor. 2 for clinic, so you get the rating for receptionist. Too hard to book an appointment. The first call, after 5 min hold, reception told me she cannot hear me and hang up (she was gossiping to someone that she did not expect me to hold that long before she hang up). Then, 3 calls never picked up. Clearly she hates her job...

Like many other reviews, I share the same experience of being on hold for over an hour. On top of that, after all the wait and finally get an appointment with the doctor, the doctor orders a referral to a specialist, and I have been waiting for this office to tell me which specialist, for more than five months. Why is this ridiculous? Because my daughter’s doctor’s office is not as bad as this one. This is not a comment regarding the doctor because I barely spoke to her, this is about the administration.

I understand the strain on the medical system at this point in time, but I am so disappointed that I went out if my way to change to a family doctor at this clinic. The receptionists are unpleasant, unhelpful and getting an appointment is next to impossible. Your health is not a priority, I would go somewhere else.

I had been a patient at this clinic since the 80s with Dr MacClean. He then retired and I was assigned to Dr Kubba. I have nothing negative to say about Dr Kubba. The reason I left the clinic was because of the administration. The staff are extremely rude and when u call u usually wait a minimum of 45mins before someone answers the phone. The problem is the manager BERNADETTE KIELEY. Having gotten to know some of the staff over the years, they have given me the run down in confidence and the common denominator is Bernadette. The few times I have spoken or emailed her regarding a complaint, I have been met with extreme attitude and arrogance, basically putting the clinics blame back on the patients. Her disgusting behavior has no room in health care when patients are at their most vulnerable. The final straw was when I got a letter from the ministry saying I needed a pap smear. I called and was told they would need to ask the doctor for permission for me to come in for a pap smear because of covid (January 2022). Last I checked a pap can't be done over the phone. No one ever called me back. That was the final straw to take my family to another clinic. Do not think you don't have other options as a patient and have to put up with this treatment. There are many other clinics and doctors and nurse practitioners available who will treat you with kindness, respect and who are actually competent. Everyone should leave this clinic in my opinion, maybe then someone will really look into the problem and fire Bernadette.

I would say that this is a 3.5-star review. Been seeing Dr.Trinh for a long time now and so far, I haven't had any issues with her or her husband, Dr. Bui. She is a caring doctor and will try her best to help you. The reason that it would be a 3.5 star is that I am not quite a fan of the waiting period. Even if you were to book an appointment, for example, 2:30, you would most likely see the doctor at 3:30, even though you booked it for 2:30. I understand that you cant time how long each patient would be and that these doctors don't really take a lunch break. But also, I notice they take a lot of time off.

Receptionist of this clinic is very rude and don’t provide the complete information about the availability of the doctors, I asked her about the reports and she is giving me the same answer since a week without even checking into the system. Customer service is not appreciated👎

Dr. Fung is the sweetest, and super caring, but I absolutely have to agree with all the other reviewers that the receptionists are hot garbage. Not only are they unhelpful, they're straight up obstructive, short-tempered and always talk down to you. If you want anything beyond booking an appointment, like asking for clarification or seeking more information during a stressful situation, don't bother. They won't even pretend to be sympathetic, let alone try to find a solution. If they make a mistake, they'll never apologize for it either, and instead get really short and hang up on you. Honestly, they might as well replace the receptionists with a computer system where we select timeslots; that would be less frustrating than this and provide the same, if not better, service.
Also, the office's general policy is to insist that you book an appointment for unimportant follow-ups that other doctors' offices these days just call/email for -- I get that they want to bill me for every visit, but they really should get with the times.

If you want to wait for a doctor for over 2.5 hours even though you have an appointment and then be rushed once you’re seen for 5 minutes and have her not listen to anything you say, then Dr. Attalla is the right doctor for you. As for the front desk, the rudest that can be found. Needless to say .. I’m glad I’m no longer a patient here .. Don’t even bother wasting your time here.
