My son started when he was 3 and just turned 5. His skills have improved tremendously. He loves the coaches as well. So obviously we are very grateful to a part of the Futbol Rebels Family.
My son (age 5) has loved learning his soccer skills through Futbol Rebels. The coaches are fantastic and very supportive for all levels.
My son's love for soccer has grown so much because of Futbol Rebels. He attends a weekly skills class on Saturdays and has attended their summer camp and schools out camps as well. As a parent and former soccer player, I love the way they teach - it's age appropriate and it's clear that the coaches really know what they're doing!
My daughter has really enjoyed Futbol Rebels. The coaches are great with kids. The activities are varied and seem to be developing real soccer skills. It’s been so cool to see my daughter’s confidence and ability grow!
The perfect entry point to soccer for our 5 year old who has been a bit tentative to do team sports! The skills building games are fun and the coaches are energetic and upbeat - the kids love them! It’s been a great class to practice the fundamentals of ball movement and control, to gain body coordination, and in an environment focused on fun and improvement, not competition. Highly recommend!
Exceptional soccer club! My son has flourished in his skills, thanks to the amazing coaches who impart both knowledge and passion. The fun-filled environment has ignited his desire to go pro! Couldn't be happier with the positive impact on his development. 10/10!
Futbol Rebels is the best! My daughter has been with the organization for the past 5 years. The coaches are fantastic, and they provide the perfect mix of fun, skills, and training. They are well organized, offer great class and camp options, and are fairly priced.
My daughter started with Futbol Rebels at 5 years old and is now approaching 7. She "found" soccer and wanted to learn more. FR has been the "answer" to her growth and happiness in the sport. Coach Jonatan, Casey, Antonio, Jamie, and others have been fantastic. They are truly passionate and professional. They are soccer players themselves. They teach the sport, self reliance, team play, and boy oh boy are they patient with each and every child. Talking to them through failures and tears should there be any. Allowing each child to grow and learn at a pace that is comfortable. Great organization and great people. Proud to have my daughter involved and it's inspiring to see her grow.
Can’t say enough good things about the Gowanus location. My 6yr daughter LOVES the camps here. She has attended several in the area and this is hands down her favorite. She actually requests extended day! Staff is stellar and they learn and build such cool stuff. I do find their mobile site a little tricky to navigate and I wish they sent out an email the day before detailing the activities, but aside from that this is 6 stars, IMO.
Love coming here! Such a nice place for a date. I’ve been here 2x with my boyfriend and we always get so absorbed into painting. It’s a nice place to tap into your creative side.
I absolutely love The Painted Pot and would frequent all the locations for birthday parties, camp, and fun family time growing up. Now as a young adult I had the pleasure of going back to the remaining Park Slope location for a date night and we had a great time. The staff is amazingly knowledgeable and kind and the reservation system is simple and effective. We loved being able to schedule a time to paint hassle free instead of the old walk-in system with long wait times. Weather you’re a child or an adult The Painted Pot remains a fun and unique experience that everyone should try.
good place, paints are sometimes mislabeled but overall it's a big part of my childhood and the service is always kind and ready to help.
Staff at Brooklyn Robot Foundry went above and beyond for my son who attended the summer camp program to ensure he felt comfortable and confident enough to participate in the activities. Every summer it’s a huge challenge to find a camp my guy is willing to go back to and upon discussing my challenges with program leadership, they listened, offered super helpful guidance and immediately put in place successful and strong supports and choice for my son. These interventions made all the difference and it was amazing to see my son feel successful and want to go back to a camp (and he came home with the coolest projects!). A huge shout out to Jennifer, Travis and Veronica for making this possible!
Play has been an amazing place for my kid to grow, both interacting with other friends during free playtime in the great space they have, but also with all the organized activities like martial arts, science, cooking and sports.
We had a gift card here, a present given to us before COVID. They used to be located by court street and now they are in park slope. Finally got to come here. It’s a small place and tables are tight. Mostly families and small children when we came on a Saturday. You book in advance online to make sure you have a spot, it’s pretty easy and you can change the time as many times as you want. The reservation is for an hour and a half. It’s around $30-$40 a person for the normal stuff you would want to paint like plates and cups. They also have acrylic paint which is not food safe, but if you paint something with that you don’t have to come back to pick it up. We don’t live in Brooklyn but the woman said they call before they donate your pottery if you never come back and pick it up, the website says you have to come within 2 weeks but she said it’s actually a month. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, and even though it was busy they were dealing with every customer promptly.
It’s fun and relaxing to paint, but it does get crowded and it’s hard to move in and out of the cramped tables. I probably wouldn’t come here without the gift card.

I have been to a lot of pottery painting places, I love them! You have to book a table online with a time, so we did that and went. The selection of pieces is pretty slim; mostly plain bowls, mugs, plates, which I personally love, but worth a mention. The paint colors are good.
The main issue I had with this place was that it wasnt made clear that you seriously have a time limit before they kick you out. You’re there to essentially make art, but only have 90 minutes to paint a whole piece. I’ve never been to a pottery studio that kicks you out before youre fully finished. An employee came over to let us know we had 10 minutes left and I hadn’t even done the inside so I had to rush and just do it a plain color; I dont want to pay $30 for a plain bowl that I can buy at Target.
The issue too is that me and my friend were sitting at a table for FOUR PEOPLE (they put us there), and the people waiting to take our table was a group of two as well. Why couldn’t we just share the table so I could finish? Weird

My daughter has been visiting this place for over a year now and she really likes doing rhythmic gymnastics here. The team is welcoming and friendly to both children and their parents.

I love this place, great place to let your mind roam free in painting cool plates,statues,cups,Mugs and many more cool pottery,only issue I have with this place is they should have a bigger wider selection of different MARVEL and STAR WARS pottery and many more. Let your colorful imagination take over when you come here you will not regret it!!!!!!
Our daughter has been in the after school program for two years now. We first got to know about the space through spending a few birthday parties there. We can’t imagine a better place for our daughter to develop with her friends. Their classes for both after school and summer camps are amazing and super engaging. Can’t thank them enough

Our daughter never wants to leave. We know she is safe, loved and well cared for when she is there. Worth every penny. The staff is highly professional and invested in the children's happiness and well being.
I highly reccomend takes classes here, Coach Ella has a unique approach to working with children of all age, but an efficient method to teach gymnastic skills. My neice loves it here! Hope this place goes back up again since it closed temporaily for COVID, my niece is anxious to get out of the house.
I went to this business as a child and my sister went after me. I am so grateful for Ella because she has taught both me and my sister invaluable skills that we will have access to for years to come. I am thankful to Brooklyn Gymnastics and Dance for improving my health/ fitness and providing a fun, safe and educational environment for me and my sister.
The teacher who is teaching there most of the classes is very rude. She is not able to touch gently a little children while she is fixing there poses, she is pushing hard and squeezing the parts of the body very painfully. And , she is screaming on kids like in army on a man solders. It's hard to avoid her by taking other class since she is exchanging the other teachers most of the classes. There is no set schedule for teachers in that place so you could choose the teacher, all mess.... I wouldn't recommend that place.

Also, we put her in a day camp there when the school is closed. Previously, we had an issue at the drop off time at different camps and she cried and did not want to go but since she started attending after school, on the camp days, she woke up very excited to go to a day camp at PLAY.

Omg this place is great for everyone and anyone. They have so many different things to offer. They are a small gym with an attentive staff. The prices are affordable and they work with your budget. Just opened up another location on ocean ave.
Our family enjoyed the experience with Lion. All the coaches were pleasant and energetic. Coach Isaac had the perfect personality for our 4 year old and his 6 year old sister. The location is so close to home making it easy to arrive with a stroller in tow.
Highly recommended. This is the day camp that my six year old daughter consistently asks for. We've been to both the Atlantic Ave and Tribeca locations and she's loved them both.
We had a wonderful experience with Lion Tennis as part of my son’s school after-school program. Teachers are great, they make it fun and engaging, and my 7 year old absolutely loves it! Highly recommend for kids of any age!
Went last week and really had a nice time, I’m a nanny and I took my little one who is 6 she loves it there! She made a mosaic and it came out so sweet. The staff is super friendly and are always there to help. It was a little busy but I think it was because it was spring break. The prices are a little high but in my mind it was more of making a fun memory together that will last forever as well as a little token we get to have that we made together.
Lawrence and the crew at Lion Tennis are INCREDIBLE! It is a wonderful kids sports program and I highly recommend them. They also have a great and very user-friendly website that makes booking both group and private lessons very easy.
Lion Tennis is a grand slam! Children play in the gym at their school. Coaches are terrific. Lawrence and his team keep us coming back.
I really love PLAY! The facility is clean and the staff is super friendly and professional. Our kids in summer camp are having a blast. It's very well organized, fun and educational. PLAY is affiliated with French For Little Ones (FFLO) Preschool and Learn French Brooklyn which provide French classes and workshops for all ages.
I signed my child up for the weekly 8 year old classes. The two coaches run the classes in a professional and lively matter. They clearly have many years of experience. The price is definitely worth it and a nice way to drop your daughter off for an hour.
I’ve come here with my son when he was 10 months, 18 months & 20 months. It’s a perfect spot to let him release his energy. There is enough stuff to keep him entertained for hours, and once we leave he’s ready for a nap. There is a small place that has tables and chairs so he can eat. The bathroom is clean and has a changing table. This is a great place. I try to come when there are less kids since it isn’t a big space. My son loves it!
Pretty awesome program. I signed my niece up while my sister was in the city visiting with us during the summer. She had nothing to do, and the program was pretty cheap. My niece is a pretty outgoing gal, so i'm sure that helped, but it sounded like she had an absolute blast. The other kids and instructors were nice, and she said she wanted in again next year. 5/5
i take my little sister here and it's so hard to get her to leave. she always has such a great time and her gymnastics skills have been recognizably improving. The classes are well structured and the management is so friendly. I highly recommend you give this place a try. They have so many different options you are sure to find something to suit your little one's tastes and you really can't get the same personal touch anywhere else!
My daughter is going to gymnastics here for past year on Monday’s and Wednesday she loved it . I see a huge improvement . Ella is amazing teacher thank you so much also the new teacher she got she is very professional as far as I know I took my daughter to 3 other places , before I found Brooklyn Gymnastics and Dance , Perfect location, spacious studio for Dance. I go to this school.Its AMAZING!!!The teachers help you out and there is free tutoring!they teach you higher level stuff so you will always get challenged.As a student in basis I am pleased with my education,welcoming and so much more.I recommend this for everyone!!!😎😎😀
I am a student who goes to this school so it be in your best interest to trust me here. This school is a school that goes beyond limits of the education they teach in public schools and enhances that and creates a brand new foundation that is worth your time. I mean seriously kids are learning algebra so fast in this school and it shows what kids are capable of. The teachers have reserved hours for students to come in and study and ask questions which really shows how strong the teacher and kid relationship is compared to others. It also holds special events that really let the kids socialize with others. But it can be very stressful for students so make sure students are mentally prepared for the long homework nights and study nights. Thus this school is a great school and pushes the boundaries of others.
Sent my nephew here for a week of summer camp and he loved it. Is already talking about going back again next year! They were kept busy making various sorts of robots, and creative play during the after hours program until 6pm. He proudly came home every day with all the different things he had created. He was at the 3rd Ave location, but they have now moved to Atlantic Ave, so I will be interested to see what they do with even more space than the fun location they were at.
Terrible executive administration led by individuals with little to no leadership, managerial, or problem-solving skills- mostly incompetent; high staff turnover; low morale among students and staff; some great teachers most of whom receive nearly zero support from adminstration; no consistency or structure on the logistical side of things--lots of talk, little action; and the list goes on, which is too bad for the students
We first participated in Lion Tennis through an After School Enrichment program at my son's school. He had never played before and my husband and I had been meaning to get him involved. The teachers were friendly and knowledgeable and he had fun. So we continued on with Lion's summer program. They make it interesting each week with new fitness challenges and games like 'Egg in a Basket' and Fruit Salad. It is well geared toward the age group.

Amazing experience so far for my prek child. I am happy we discovered the school. Focused on preparing the kids for tomorrow's world, as it continues to change.
This place is terrible. Do not let your children be picked up by them. Their runners are irresponsible and negligent when it comes to dealing with children. They would not let my son go back and get his gloves when it is 24 degrees outside and they were still on school grounds. The lack of common sense is truly scary.

Nice facility , very clean. However pricing for a day visit is outrageous. Most places are 8-12 dollars and that includes many more activities for children such as bounce houses, water tables, etc.
A great and unique summer camp option for kids.

My oldest son started kindergarten this year and we love it. Can't say enough great things about this school. Teachers, administration, building itself, head of school - everything is superb. Education redefined indeed! Very happy with our decision sending him to Basis and our youngest will start there as well as soon as he is old enough.
Very easy to work with. Great work. I have never gotten so many compliments on my head shots! I'm not all photogenic. If you can make this mug look good, you must be a genius.
This is a quirky little store, a close relative of the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. The store section is relatively small, with a few kits and miscellaneous parts for making your robots. There's definitely enough for gifting the engineering student in your life. The focus seems to be on teaching, though, with classes geared toward everyone from grade-schoolers to drunken bachelor parties.
