Walk here all the time. Great for biking too. If you’re lucky you might encounter wildlife such as white tailed deers, coyotes, otters, and beavers 👀

pretty interesting bike trail the extends from here just outside old cummer GO station ending up in the parking lot of finch TTC subway station, has a pretty large incline from this point heading towards finch subway. 6/10 difficulty. i seen many riders get off their bike and walk it up. many dogs on this trail but plenty of grass on the side for them to walk on or for you to move around. further down to bayview there is now, a stop light just dedicated to this trail to cross the street. well managed trail. great for locals. i would not drive with a bike rack to see this trail though if i wasnt local.

The best local trail for outdoor recreation 🌞 please respect nature 💚
It was a pretty simple 3 kms trail on a flat terrain. Would recommend it for kids, elderly and all other folks.

Why did the river turn white
Flood waters control areas
Massive floods just run through here
The trail is lovely to walk around, but the dog park is horrible. There is just pebbles (too hot in the sun) and no wood chips for the dogs to run on. As well there is no trees in the park and it is all sun (no shade). There is no water for the dogs to drink from. There is no large rocks the dogs can run around or jump over. Plus the rocks can be used seating for the owners as well. This place is not inviting at all. I hope this park can get a revamped soon.
From the Zoo Road going straight you'll end up getting to this pinned location, just in the middle of the road. But, you'll find on your left side, Cedar Trail (lucky to see a beaver casually swimming with the geese recorded below); right side - Orchard Trail which connects to the Vista Trail and straight ahead a railroad. There are still so many areas to uncover. Go! Just explore, enjoy the sighting and be one with nature.

Here's a view around the trail. It's a challenging walk for a beginner like me but very rewarding for an alone time exploration. Benches are scattered throughout the area. One really nice view I liked was near the bridge where you could sit down and relax a bit before continuing on to the Orchard Trail. Pathways are clear and signage are visibly placed every so meters.
I must have taken my dog 5 days a week for the last 13 years so far. I mix it up with Warden Woods or Ashbridges Bay. We don't go in the dog areas; he's not that kind of dog.
Taylor Creek is our staple and he lives for it.
Another great trail of the Rouge Valley area. Couple of uphills and stream makes it quite a good hike.
Recent upgrades to the stairs and addition of a pond landscape also is a good effort from Parks Canada.
A short hike across the railway crossing to the lookout point and summit is a very good addition to the trail system in the area.

Loved the trail, parking was convenient. We did the vista trail, wasn’t able to finish the entire trail, but wanted to see fall colors, albeit little late, but it felt beautiful.

Great trail, nice views and not too difficult. Beware of ticks.
This place is best for cycling but not for a picnic for a long time. There is no washroom nearby. It's a long walk if you wanna go. Either way, it's all around green natural beauty trail.

Great
Cedar Trail is a scenic hiking trail located in Rouge National Urban Park. This trail offers nature enthusiasts and hikers a wonderful opportunity to explore the beauty of the park's diverse ecosystems. As you traverse Cedar Trail, you'll be surrounded by lush cedar forests, picturesque meadows, and tranquil streams. The trail provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, allowing visitors to connect with nature and enjoy the park's natural wonders.

I recently visited Vista Trail and found it to be a good hiking destination overall. While there were many different trails to explore, unfortunately, a lot of the trail was under construction during my visit, which closed off some of the routes and made it difficult to navigate. We had to constantly search for new ways to continue our hike, which was not ideal. However, despite the construction, there were still plenty of different trails to choose from and the scenery was beautiful. Overall, I would recommend Vista Trail for anyone looking for a scenic hike, but be aware that some parts may be under construction and closed off.
While walking on this trail, watch out for speeding bikes.

I bought into the neighbourhood because of Millwood! Especially during the fall! It’s one of the best hiking and biking trails in Toronto!
Perfect for taking a walk during lunch break or on weekends. The trail has lots of different flowers, moths, butterflies, bees, and dragonflies in summer.

The trail runs from Steeles and Leslie at the top, along the Duncan Creek, to Don Mills and McNicoll at the bottom, it also connects to the Bestview trail on the west side of Leslie. The trail was very easy, the scenery was fine. Only street parking available. It can be busy sometimes.
It's a wonderful local trail for a short walk or a longer loop through East York. Also great tobogganing nearby

Duncan Creek Recreation Trail offers a picturesque walk along the creek. The view of the pedestrian bridge from the trail is just wonderful. As some parts of the trail wind through residential areas, sometimes raccoons are seen wandering near it. Care must be taken in dealing with this mammal as it is known carriers of rabies virus.
Trail is about 2 km. If you're starting from toronto zoo road, it starts a bit boring, a pond followed by a narrow trail and scenery is the same but then trail goes to a wooded area and goes through a few wooden stairs. Great foliage colors in autumn. Saw birds, squirrels and geese. Trail ends at resor road and you'll take the same trail back to the parking lot
The trail here is really nice! But don’t come here for the dog park. It’s small. There’s no shade. There’s no water dispenser for the dogs. It’s concrete and rocks. There are so many other better dog parks (fenced photo is dog park - other photos is the trail which is the only reason to come here)
Variety of trails top choose from, not stroller friendly but so beautiful. Spaced out so u can maintain distance easily, there are goods trains that passed by every few hours.
So beautiful trail around the lake<3
Not stroller friendly.
Great area and very nice dog park. Quiet and great views as I was passing by coming up out of Taylor Park and Creek
A nice trail to enjoy nature. The train passes by often so it's noisy when it does. Otherwise it's peaceful. It is well marked. In summer time be aware of ticks, they're everywhere.
Gorgeous trail with multiple access points.
Picknick and play areas. Paved cycling trail and unpaved single tracks. Perfect for families, children and strollers.
