Wish I could of seen The Offspring here, but you can’t always get what you want! Great venue- intimate and easy to obtain drinks!! Visited The Whisky because one of my all time favorite bands performed here-The Doors!!!!

As historic bar is great. You can see pictures of all the artists have performed there. There are events almost every day. Drinks are not so good but is ok. Cover is 25 dls.

Saw "Plush" here in late August of 2024 and was impressed with this iconic and historic venue. It's small, crowded, and understandably a bit worn down looking, but the sound system rocked, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the security seemed on top of any potential issues. Valet parking behind the building is pricey at $25, but it's better (and safer) than trying to find a spot on Sunset Blvd. Almost got a contact high from some of the patrons in there, but I guess they allow (or just put up with) a little weed usage. Fun place with a heck of a lot of music history.

The historic images and decor make the Whisky a must-see intimate venue. The acoustics are amazing, the sound booth tech was spot on, & there are no bad viewing spots! It's history is rich with all genres of music and it's been around for decades for a reason! Get tickets. Go to a show! You won't be disappointed..💙

I won one of the 100 tickets to see The Warning’s album release show for their new album, Keep Me Fed, on June 26, 2024. The doors were opening at 7 pm, but people had started lining up at way before 5. I got there around 5:30. I had heard of the Whisky a Go Go from stories about Van Halen. It was a great show and I was excited to be at such a legendary facility.

Had an awesome time. I love a tiny venue! Bonus, got to see the "green room" upstairs where the bands pregame. I stood where iconic musicians stood! Sound is great, not a bad view from anywhere due to the size. Bathrooms were clean. Bartenders were super friendly!

Had a great time here. Your experience will vary based on the band(s) playing, but I think it'll mostly be hard rock. Food wasn't too bad, a little dry but overall pretty good. Security is good, tons of friendly faces, you'll have a good time here I can assure you. Great location too. Great place to see bands play, albeit a little small compared to other typical venues in LA but this is a good one.

Our visit to this venue. We saw some great bands. Our friend Hekar Rivera and his band Rising Prima Donna played. Finished the evening with Quiet Riot.

Saw Lob Lobos for their 50th anniversary tour here, had a wonderful time! Music was loud, entry allowed ins and outs, there is food you can buy at the bar. Parking was easy but expensive. Had a great time!

Bouncers are always polite, security is perfect and the people are just 10/10 vibes. Love it!

What a great Halloween party and private venue that took place at the Whisky A Go-Go!! I've never been here and I can see now why it's so popular!
The lay out of the space and stage, the sound, ambiance and vibe were incredible!
The food trucks were hired and well done as well as great service and security!
I will definitely head back again. I was impressed with the intimacy of the proximity of the stage and the sound quality.
Great epic night to check off my historical list of things to do!

The Peppermint Club is refusing to provide refunds for a mistake their marketing team made. I requested a full refund for the Ben Ottewell & Ian Ball (of Gomez), and Buddy concert. When purchasing tickets from their website, it displayed Buddy, the hip hop artist, image as the performer; however, Buddy confirmed on 11/5/23 that he was not the artist performing. I discovered it was the alternative rock group Buddy which was confirmed when I called the venue the concert was held at on 11/5/23.

Ticketmaster said the event organizer, The Peppermint Club, is not issuing refunds unless the show is canceled; however, they advertised the wrong artist. Whether the show is canceled or not does not negate the fact that they falsely advertised an artist that was not performing and received compensation under false pretenses.

Peppermint Club’s mistake resulted in me purchasing a concert ticket for the wrong artist and hundreds of dollars on a flight to LA for the concert on 11/6/23. I have sent messages and yet to hear a response. What a horrible establishment!

We saw Metric here and it was great! Most live concerts these days don't have good sound, but this was pretty decent! Drinks were reasonably priced and the venue on the small side, so a real treat! I could see the stage from the back with no glasses :D

Venue Curates a fun open format style of music that leans to hip hop dance remixes on Fridays with a fun fashion crowd. Saturdays have this disco tech dance element that’s super fun. One of the only WeHo/Hollywood venues that have a great dance floor and not cluttered with tables.

Such an iconic place! Enjoyed a Jack * Coke (actually Dr Pepper) and chatted with the Bartender while there. Very courteous and knowledgeable of the sites History. Hope I get more opportunities to visit this iconic night spot especially when Live entertainment is scheduled! 😎

Someone was also filming "B-roll footage while I was there! Quite a different environment being in Hollywood fo sho!

Nice intimate club. Saw Tiger Cub & James and the Cold Gun. It was a Loosegroove record label night. Stone Gossard from Pearl Jam was there jamming with the bands.

Solid old Hollywood vibes, a lovely intimate setting to see your favorites. Bar doesn't seem to have a menu though; would have preferred one as the bar is hard to order from once the night picks up.

Seriously for a musoc venue/dive bar this place does great at both.. 3 bars 4 separate areas.. very interesting setup but it works..
Some seats around the bar in the music venue itself, The balcony has seating and another room with a bar and seating with a view of the venue downstairs.. there's a bar as you enter the building which seams like any other bar until you go walk.onto the venue..
Nothing special, drinks are a bit pricey but strong if you get a mix..

Absolutely legendary Los Angeles concert venue, serving up an intimate atmosphere, and attracting some of the biggest talent in the world. The sound system here is flawless perfection. The drinks are strong, and the staff is highly experienced, making this one of my favorite places to see a show.

We attended the 50th anniversary of the Roxy Theater. We went to the Wallows concert which was as good as it gets. It exceeded expectations. I am Braeden Lemasters' "Uncle Dennis" to the band which I have seen many times since they were kids in a garage band. They were at peak introducing a couple of new tunes from their upcoming third album. It was one of their best gigs of all time. It was sold out with fans camped out on the street the day before. The band rose to the occasion. The Roxy accommodated every need and the venue is always history in the making every time they open their doors...!!!

Had an amazing time last night! I bought the tickets in advance which was an easy process. I do recommend using the website to buy tickets. We went to see The Unlikely Candidates and Franklin Jonas. Had drinks and food which were all great. Savannah is an awesome bartender and took great care of us. I had margarita, Paloma, and Tequila sunrise and my date had a Paloma and a Long Island. They were all well made and she checked on us multiple times throughout the whole night. The staff was very kind and professional. Can't wait to go back and visit!

This was my first time here. My friend was performing and I didn't want to miss it. I love the space. There were two floors for the audience. The second floor was reserved and had seating and some had tables. The first floor had a few booths but mainly standing room. I believe they served food. They definitely served drinks. It wasn't very packed on a Thursday night. The crowd was very supportive and encouraging. Staff was professional and friendly.

Awful. The people working here are rude and aggressive and treat their customers terribly. I have never experience such horrible customer service in my life. Read all the other reviews about this place, it's consistent that they treat their customers like this. I hope this places closes down.

An iconic place with great history. Good vibes and of course depending on who is performing, the crowd varies accordingly. Fun to walk from there to Rainbow Room for drinks!
Intimate venue that harkens back to the glory days of Hollywood. A good fit for Menudo's first LA concert. The "valet" parking situation needs to be improved though.

If you find yourself in West Hollywood, make your way over to The Troubadour. The amount of Rock and Roll history in this building is amazing. Catch a drink before heading into a show at the same front bar that Jim Morrison, Joan Baez, David Crosby, David Lee Roth, Nikki Sixx, and many others have. Rock on!🤘🏻

Intimate venue in a central area of West Hollywood. All GA, great sound and great views throughout. Loved the show I saw here but -2 stars for the rude, aggressive and highly unprofessional security (literally some of the worst staff I’ve ever encountered at any show, ever). Came here for a sold out show last night and from the start, found the security to be rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. Before entering had a question about show time and very nicely asked the staff with long hair and glasses at the front and he gave me a rude and sarcastic nonresponse; totally unhelpful. Inside, it was clear many of the staff were aggressive and looking to start fights, often targeting people unprovoked. Over the course of the evening random fans got pushed and literally thrown to the floor for walking or unknowingly standing in the aisle (no warning given), and I saw several instances where people were pushed by security hard into the crowd causing confusion and irritation among other concertgoers.

Overall, the Roxy is a great venue but they really need an overhaul on their staff.

Best bar I have ever been to!! Live music was incredible & drinks were great. Prices weren’t too bad considering it’s the Sunset Strip. The bouncer was really funny and talked with us everytime we stepped outside for a few minutes, and the bartenders were all friendly with great service. And the history of this spot just makes it even better!! Cannot recommend enough!

Legendary venue - I was fortunate to see the talented Ollie Wride live in concert. Multiple bars, several different levels of viewing (standing and seating), and friendly staff and security made for a great evening. The history in this place is overwhelming.

Beyond its iconic historic status, this is a cozy music venue where there are very few bad locations from which to stand or sit to see and hear your favorite artists. You will NOT be disappointed. Seems "ye old timers" get there early and find seats on the far side of the bar. There is also bench seating up in the balcony area.

Do not waste your time standing in a open field or arena simply to watch your favorite artists on a giant screen over loud, distorted acoustics. Where New York City simply watched its venues like CBGB and the Roxy evaporate, the Troubadour lives on! Come enjoy this hub of music while one can.

The Roxy is a nice little theater. Mostly general admission/standing room only with a few seats on one side. We’ll stocked bar in the back. Air ventilation could be improved, with so many bodies packed in, the venue got hot and stuffy quickly. But I would see another band here.

The whole vibe is weird don’t know what to make of it. And unsure of the crowd they actually want business from. I thought it was gonna be hip and cool but it turned out to be a bunch of old people and funky looking dudes everywhere. I needed to leave immediately.

It was my first time at Peppermint Club. Nice venue, decent sound system, it's in a safe neighborhood. This night was a younger crowd. The drinks are on the slightly higher side $20 for a vodka tonic. $7.00 for a Bud Light. Parking is $20. There is very little street parking, and there are 8 spots in front of the Bank of America. Other than that, it's all resident permit. Expect to pay for parking here. All inall, I recommend the Peppermint club.

One of my singer friends invited us for her performance in this little bar on Beverly Blvd. It is a pretty cool place, even though it’s very small, but it’s a fun retro vibe. The bartenders were nice. Wish they would list parking information on their website though. We did a street parking for 2 hours $4.

Horrible experience reminiscent of many decades ago and not at all an appropriate modern way to run an establishment - blatant, admitted sexism at the door and all so unapologetic. We arrived after 10, when the club allegedly opens, and were told quite rudely to go have a drink at the hotel bar because they weren't going to open until 10:30. We came back at 10:30 only to wait in a line and be told that we needed to go "find some more ladies in the bar to join us" because they wouldn't let us in without a better male to female ratio (we were a group of four). Meanwhile, a bunch of nasty-looking sleazy old men were allowed to skip the line and enter without so much as showing an ID. Do not go here. I'm surprised the Edition houses such a heinous establishment - they should do better.
DO NOT GO HERE!! This should be a members only club. Apparently there isn’t general admission. We got to the front of the line—after and hour and a half of waiting—just to be told “you may only enter if you purchase a bottle service table.” The price was $3,500.00. We called the business before hand and they never mentioned this. Horrible service the African American guy in the front door was completely racist even to his own kind. He let whoever he want in and let people cut the line. Many parties, about 5 of them, left the line because of this same reason. He made it seem as if this was Bootsy Bellows. Attached are pictures of the uncultured pathetic individuals holding up the line. Theres a video where he argues with a customer about why he’s letting them cut the line.

The staff here are kind and the quality of music along with atmosphere is a night that you will never forget! Additionally, Kristen and Daniel are incredible, extremely capable and hospitable.
My experience has been much better than these recent 1 star reviews. I've been here about 3 times in the last month to see friends bands play. It is nice venue to see music. The wood work on the walls is amazing and does the acoustics of the club better than other music rooms. The crowd does seem a bit full of themselves but it is Beverly Hills.
