This is a super cozy cafe with great coffee! There is lots of space in the front but also a large back room with seating. The decor is warm and interesting with motorcycle memorabilia and dark green walls. Make sure to visit when on Main Street.
Loved the aqurium, the gift shop and the food cafe. Bacon cheese burger with fries were delicious specially the bacon they used. Lots to see and people were very friendly.
Matchstick Fraser Street in Vancouver has garnered positive reviews from its patrons, making it a well-regarded destination in the area. Customers appreciate the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere of the café, which is enhanced by a friendly and accommodating staff. This environment seems particularly appealing for those looking to enjoy a calm and peaceful setting, and it even offers some entertainment for kids with toys and books.

this cafe is so cozy, i love the back room and the baristas are so friendly. perfect spot for a rainy day, i love coming here with my girlfriend!

however this location gets taken over by students who sit there all night, it’s rare that we can find a spot to sit together comfortably. wish there was a 2 hour time limit during peak hours so that we could all enjoy this amazing space

My new favourite café. I love the coffee here, I have never had a more full bodied espresso, never bitter or sour. I haven't tried all the food, but there is a great selection, something for everyone. The service is great, they take pride in what they do. Music is a bit loud for me, no one should have to raise their voice to have a normal conversation.

Service and food is exceptional! One of my favorite coffee shops in Vancouver and all of their baked goods are delicious. Love the hours - makes it easy to stop in before going to work!

Best study place nearby! Affordable food and everyone is reading/working in side. When I don’t want to work in my school’s library I just visit here:)
Terrible bc wild halibut fish and chips. Extremely dry and not even chewable.👎👎👎👎👎👎
I got the iced matcha latte which turned out to be pretty milky. However, I also got the full breakfast which was filling and delicious. The service rating is pretty low because they took a while to get to me and they also completely forgot about my order & I had to go up to them for them to make it for me. Regarding the environment, it is cozy and good for work. They have a lit up space towards the front and a back work station as well. Also free wifi, which I appreciated!

Affogato flights were a rare delight!

We drove from downtown Vancouver just to experience this special treat and it was worth it. We were expecting there to be various coffee flavours to choose from for the flights, but in fact espresso (pictured) was only one flavour option, including London fog (pictured) matcha, ginger (pictured), lemon, mocha, and others to choose from for your affogato flavours. I suppose it means they aren’t true affogato but the variety of options made for a fun dessert.

I’d definitely recommend the affogato flight as a fun experience for a date. There is also the option to switch to alcoholic beverages thereafter if you’re having a good time.

Unfortunately, no gluten free food options apart from the ice cream in the flights.
I genuinely love the menu items at this place, and the items are pretty reasonably priced for the area. It's a nice cafe to stop by if you have an hour or two to kill, but they have GOT to get better about staffing their front counter. They only ever have one person taking and preparing orders, and as soon as they take an order, they prepare it from start to finish without acknowledging any new customers. If I come in for a quick grab and go muffin or pastry on my way to work, and I see ANYONE else in line or being served, I usually leave immediately, because I know it will guaranteed be at least 10 minutes before someone even says hello, or so much as "sorry, it'll be a few". A few times I have chanced it when someone else was waiting for their food/beverage and I've had more than 15min to spare to wait, and a good 80% of those times I've had to leave without ordering, so as not to be late. I would legitimately rather order food or coffee from Bean than any other coffee shop or bakery in the area other than maybe Thierry, but for now the only alternative that makes sense is either Mira's or Cobb's for a quick pastry.

They do not take cash! Really great coffee though and decent baked goods. Solid 4/5. Only one person works the register and makes coffee, so it is a slower wait at times, but it's a good spot.

So I’ll start off but saying that the atmosphere before Sam the owner arrived was great. His one waitress working today was lovely. However, after I was sat down for about 45 minutes enjoying my coffee and doing some light work on my computer the owner rudely came up to me, looked at my drink and without any introduction demanded that I leave or relocate to free up the table for new customers…

If I had known he didn’t want computers to be used I wouldn’t have sat down and used the wifi in the first place... after calmly explaining how I felt disrespected and that wasn’t a way to talk to customers, he became agitated further. Shortly finished my drink and left….I haven’t experienced something like this before coming to Jitters. EVER.

I suggested speaking outside to de-escalate the situation and he did eventually apologize however It was completely uncalled for behaviour coming from a business owner… ESPECIALLY reading the other 1 star reviews explaining identical scenarios.

I came her to enjoy a coffee and left with a terrible experience. Listen to the reviews, the owner needs to work on himself.

Surprisingly good eats here.

The Chicken strips were a bit dry and the fries were overly salty. On the plus side the chowder was really good!

Although the garden entrance is not free, one can come there for free (albeit the price of a coffee) to study.

At least, that what I did today, and it helped me tremendously in my focus and relaxation to have a beautiful sight, gardened with a fountain in front of me.

+ the service team was so kind to let me study until the closing time! I was so focused I didn't notice, and they have been extremely gentle ;)
I had a wonderful time with the vancouver aquarium today. The staff was amazing and really knowledgeable. We had some great conversations about the animals and even saw a stellar sea lion training!
I loved the vibe here. The style of decoration is a little old-fashioned (not outdated, just an older aesthetic) with beautiful, interesting artwork covering the walls, a nice fireplace, and plants in the windows. It felt like my grandparents’ living room. The barista was very nice too, which made it a welcoming atmosphere.
I got a tofu sandwich, a brownie, and an iced matcha latte. The sandwich had slices of tofu, slaw, spinach, and soft cheese (I think it was melted cheese, maybe it was a spread) on fig sourdough. I liked that it was something a little different and healthful, and it was delicious (especially the bread), but it had been made in advance and the dressing had really soaked into the bread. The edges of the brownie were a little dry, but the middle was so good - it was fudgy but not overly rich. The matcha latte was very clumpy and the flavour was so-so, though the weak flavour is probably not because they used low-quality matcha but because it wasn’t fully incorporated. I would not get this again.
My total was $21 which is comparable to what I’d pay for a similar meal at chain coffee shops like Blenz or Artigiano. While there are certainly better coffee shops for food, this one was better than the competition at the price point. The food had that wholesome homemade quality that the big chains lack. But ultimately the atmosphere here is so comfortable that I’d choose it over a lot of places with objectively better food, which for me is saying a Iot.

This coffee shop at the corner is artistic. When I walk into the shop along the corridor from the entrance they are exhibiting the painting by local artist. Also the lightings are nostalgic.

I went there in a sunny afternoon and had a latte with a scone. Coffee went well and the scone tasted good. The barista was a very nice guy and very attentive.

I recommend this lovely cafe for anyone who enjoys a quiet moment in the afternoon with coffee and light foods.
Ordered an Americano today not too long ago and paid for it, while the staff or owner or whomever she was was making other drinks I said excuse me because I wanted to order something else and was met with an EYE ROLL. Wow. I wanted to buy a shot of Baileys for my coffee but I guess it’s a nuisance to your employees for customers to spend more money at the cafe. When my drink was done I wanted milk and this cafe seems to have control issues with customers dispensing their own milk and cream - I told her I could pour my own milk in the coffee and she refused to listen to me and I had to repeat myself firmly because I know exactly how much milk I want in my coffee and I think after spending money here I deserve to pour my own milk! I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so terribly at a coffee shop and would not give this cafe another penny if it was the last coffee shop on planet earth.
Michael and his wife are so passionate about their business that you feel it in the quality of the food and drinks they offer. Their coffee is amazing and the ice cream is awesome (love how they experiment with flavours + they have the best Yuzu ice cream in Vancouver). You should definitely check this place.
We came here by chance and had the best muffins we’ve ever had. We ordered the zucchini chocolate and the cinnamon apple ones. They were to die for! The coffee was also really good, will be coming back!
This is my number 1 coffee shop to go in the area! The staff is lovely and make me feel so comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing and they even have some toys and books to entertain my kids.

I buy their coffee regularly to make at home but still choose to come here just to get out of the house and be in a calm and peaceful environment.
I love this place. The owner is super friendly and often working in the shop. His space generates a very organic community feeling and you will find rotating art from local artists every month, plus treats made by another small business in the store.

I live in North Vancouver and I often make the trip here just because I like hanging out to work, have a chat with a new person, and eat a super delicious and inexpensive breakfast sandwich.

Plus the coffee is good. Which I guess is important if I’m reviewing a coffee shop.

A real gem in the community. Definitely a space that welcomes customers to stick around and enjoy, which is sorely needed in this city.

Friendly and welcoming staff, fresh cupcakes with yummy frosting (I had the raspberry one), and I love that they sell local items too. Definitely will be back.
The food was stale and inedible. When I took it back to the counter I was offered a refund or replacement. I asked if there was anything fresh and was told 3 selections. I chose wraps that were horribly soggy. We threw out all three. It is so hard to believe that this café would sell such foul food. I will never go back even though we are members of the garden and it would be so lovely to have lunch there all the time.
Really nice café at the aquarium where you can get a beer or a glass of wine or some Baileys in the coffee… We were feeling a little hung over, so that was the direction we went.

As an aquarium, you should think about having some more vegan options to be honest.

I had breakfast at this coffee bar that sells both coffee and alcohol, perfectly embodying the concept of 'AM coffee PM wine.' The coffee bar is adorned with motorcycle decorations and photographs. I presume the owner is a motorcycle enthusiast. The atmosphere was great, and they provide WiFi. There are customers here who chat, read, and go online. I had a wonderful experience here and may bring my computer to work here next time.

Not great, wife ordered a chai latte, it was cold, in fact her stomach started hurting afterwards, maybe it was the milk? My coffee was bland, definitely not worth the high price and no wifi either. The place is nice but sadly that’s about it, so yeah we will not come back again.

The coffee is great and the staff was friendly 😍
But they didn’t have enough pastries!
I've said it before but I do like a little love with my latte. It's my opinion that a coffee shop should be the place for a friendly greeting, a wee chat and service with a smile. After all, you are paying a lot of money for some hot water, a little milk and an add-on that costs a fraction of the price if made at home. Anyway, I went into this place for a matcha and greeted them warmly and the lady at the counter just scowled at me during the whole process. She really didn't seem to be happy but might I suggest perhaps a change of career? The matcha was quite good but I won't go back because of the attitude.
The focaccia and ciabatta sandwiches are amazing! The espresso was slightly bitter.
this cafe is charming , great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and very tasty muffins with top quality ingredients and excellent coffee options…the whole environment speaks of comfortable and enjoyable dining…it as been a while since we last visited but we will be back soon…highly recommended…we really appreciated our cheese cake from Trees Organic shop , prepared and consumed on our back porch in a very pleasant way..very tasty !
The aquarium in Vancouver is awesome. Beautiful displays. The responses of the little kids are heartwarming. The Cafe had good food in generous portions and was a bit pricey, as expected. This is a great place to spend time with family.

One of my favorite staples when going to Vancouver. No pretension, centrally located, staff is great, easy selection if drinks and food, the staff is great, the food is what you want and expect and a great place to bring friends in the evening for some fun celebration. Try it. They are worth visiting! 😁
Went for breakfast this morning at 8:00 AM when they opened and the owner showed up a few minutes late. Breakfast was no good. The poached eggs were hard and the fruit salad was very oxidized (I wonder how long it had been out?). I wanted a pastry but there were nothing there until we left and it had been restocked……. Message to the owner - arrive before your customers and get the restaurant ready for your opening….Very disappointed.
We had the high tea special. When we arrived at opening, they said we had to wait a hour to receive the order. It does not say that on the menu. When I called a few days ago, they said 10 am was fine to order the special. We wanted to find a table outside before it became busy.
We enjoy it when it arrive.
I ventured out for a good ice cream, as this was one of the places that I wanted to try. I was pleasantly surprised. The man there that served me my ice cream, was super nice. The ice cream was very good and he actually put some time in scooping my ice cream and making it look so pretty.

I really love it but you can’t enjoy on a busy day with those many kids screaming and adults they would never move to let others see something. It’s not worth the price and experience. The animals are beautiful!!!
I had the special of the day which was Fennel & Potato soup and a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The level of spice in each were just the right amount. And the prices were very reasonable for the location. My wife had a Turkey Bisque soup and the Adobo chili chicken & black bean bowl. Out of this world for a vegetarian dish. The cafe and the botanical garden together are a top tier combination to occupy you for the afternoon. The next time we come back to Vancouver we will definitely be stopping by here again.

I have started coming to this cafe more recently and love the atmosphere inside! It reminds me of some cafes from my small hometown where the staff are friendly and familiar! The inside is a lot more eccentric styling versus majority of other cafes in Vancouver. The iced chai is my favourite drink along with the iced tea lemonade! Love spending the afternoon here! :)
Foglifter coffee is a cafeteria that I loved, since the coffee and the food are very tasty. The place is very cozy and the workers are charming. I highly recommend it.

I have been a regular customer at Blenz coffee shop for over 5 years now. I usually stop there on may way to work depending on which shift I am on, as I am a healthcare worker. The staff at the location on Main St. have always been lovely, accommodating and very helpful to me over the years. I am also a BCAA member and have enjoyed the added perk of upsizing my drink at no cost. On June 29/2023 I stopped at Blenz for my coffee. There was a different lady at the counter whom I had never seen before. I asked her if there was the other usual staff member working as we had discussed a certain green tea coffee she was going to make for me to try that morning. The lady informed me she was “ THE OWNER”. Then continued to ask me what I wanted. I explained my drink, she attempted to understand and charge me an absurd amount. However I paid, and knowing I was a BCAA member at l least it would offset the cost a little. While I was waiting for my drink, and after I had paid, THE OWNER asked me for proof of my BCAA card. I explained to her that I didn’t have it on me as I was on my way to work at the hospital and didn’t carry cards with me, and I have been a regular customer for 5 years! She proceeded to tell me she would not honor my membership as she didn’t know me! I the told her to refund my money and that I would not be coming back.

She happily obliged. Its unfortunate that THE OWNER of Blenz would be so petty over a couple of dollars. Not only has she lost business from a good genuine person but my coworkers will now visit the many other coffee shops around other than Blenz. Remember everyone BE KIND!

Regards, very unhappy customer
A great option for coffee and sit down with snacks. Open atmosphere and seating outside as well. The coffee is pretty standard but there is a fine selection of pastries and other eats. Good location close to Arbutus.

Great coffee, great ambiance. Lots of spots for studying and talking. Love the room in the back! They also serve alcohol as there’s a bar. Outlets available at most tables.
This is the fourth BATW I have visited and it is remarkable how consistent the vibe is between all of them. They always have that warm, lived-in atmosphere and feel like a community centre as much as a coffee shop. Each location has a unique menu but the style of food is similar and meets the same standard. As with the other locations I’ve visited, the food (light stuff like sandwiches and baked goods) and drinks (coffee/tea and house-brewed soda) here are awesome. The muffins feel very wholesome. It’s cool that this location has protein smoothies - I tried the peach pear variety and it was delicious! Another notable thing about the Main St location is that in addition to the usual desserts like cookies and carrot cake, they have a ton of French-style tarts and cakes.
I entered here just to make time and I discover a really cool place.
The hot chocolate was delicious, warm and so pretty.
The bread was freshly baked and crunchy a bit sweet if you’re not used to eating a lot of sugar. But there are other options for you to choose.
The staff is really nice and friendly.
If you're going to go to a Trees in that area, make it this one, rather than the one close by at Broadway and Pine. The staff is really friendly and competent, and the atmosphere is excellent. There are really comfortable, cozy but spacious benches and tables and I found it one of the most pleasant "third spaces" that I've been in for quite a long time. The other one in that neighborhood is exactly the opposite and made me and my husband swear we were never going to go to a Trees again. I'm glad I tried this one.
I couldn't resist giving this place a try after seeing it make waves on popular ice cream lists in the city. Coffee and ice cream? A combination that had me intrigued. While I wouldn't go so far as to proclaim it the absolute best, there were certainly some noteworthy elements to appreciate.

The flavor profile of the ice cream, along with its light and creamy texture, caught my attention. I opted for the HK Milk Tea with the Creamsicle, a delightful choice that perfectly suited the sunny day. The unique flavors they offer are quite enticing, and I must admit, I do wish they allowed sampling so that customers can explore the array of options.

All in all, while it may not have reached the pinnacle of ice cream greatness for me, I still found enjoyment in certain aspects of the experience. With their intriguing flavors and pleasant creaminess, this place is worth a visit for ice cream aficionados looking for something a little different.

One of the best coffee I had since a long time. The shop’s retro look made it even more calming. Recommend it to everyone!
This is my absolute favourite coffee shop in the city. The folks here really work hard to show up for their customers and have a positive impact on their days. The customer service is unparalleled. They’re lovely to chat with and sometimes they come out to pet my dog. Grateful for these folks and their commitment to facilitating genuine connections around coffee - I always leave with a smile. Such a great local spot!

Friendly service - great muffins, pastries and beverages - all for a fairly low price. Warm rustic interiors - fun for chilling with someone. :)
Lovely vibe with a nice interior design. Spacious and have a couple of window seats and outdoor seats. Loved their pour over. Parking just outside the door but easily get full so need some luck.
Lovely place, kid friendly, always feel great stopping by.

We had visited this place since four years ago, unique ice cream flavors to choose from, siphon brew coffee with freshly roasted beans from the cafe.
Still great coffee, siphon brewers, pour overs, cold brew and nitro! Best value in town for roasted whole bean coffee. Third wave quality, grocery store prices. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The best. Ice cream is excellent as well. Voted 7th best ice cream in Vancouver.

My second home! I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and it is my favourite coffee shop. Great atmosphere, delicious coffee and food and very friendly staff. Love it!!
Yum! Digital remotely working people are welcomed here, with good Wifi (no time limit, unlike some café who will give you an hour only)
I spent half of my day today here, ordering 3 different things, and be that food or coffee, i really enjoyed everything!
Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options, thank you ❤️
All the baked goods are SO tempting!
I will come back, great ambiance, friendly service and good products.
Less busy coffee shop with chill vibes and excellent coffee.

Lot less traffic here than the other coffee spots around the area. There's a decent amount of seats and I was able to sit and get some work done for a good hour.

Coffee was excellent as well, their espresso blend is subtle and smooth, with a hint of honey. Very impressed with the shot that was pulled.

Would definitely recommend stopping by here!
Small, busy coffee shop with quick service and decent coffee.

Location is kind of small so it'll be tough to find a seat. Lots of traffic as well. They make their drinks fairly quickly though. I got an Ethiopian espresso and only waited a couple minutes even though there were several people ahead of me.

On the coffee: a bit of a letdown. I think the roast may have removed some of the more subtle flavours. The coffee tasted kind of mute, with a hint of cherry and sourness. A decent shot, but could've been better.

Overall, the vibe is still great and I'd come for a quick grab-n-go.
I’ve been coming here often to study and work, and I absolutely love it. It gets busy and it can be hard to find an ideal spot for working, but there’s usually somewhere to sit with amole outlets regardless, and people flow in and out so spots open up regularly. The customer service is great, and the atmosphere and music is very nice. The whole coffee shop is usually very warm and cosy (which I like), but can get a little cold at times when they prop the door open, so I prefer to work in the back area when that happens if I can. They have some good light snacks and meals. The large table in the dining room is a great shared space. The smaller ones are a bit short since I like to cross my leg other the other when sitting and can’t do that there. People typically don’t mind sharing their table either if they are sitting alone or there are seats available. Overall would recommend!

I go to this Belnz on a regular basis. My favourite thing on the menu is the Dark Chocolate Mocha however their PB banana Protein shake is amazing! Well kept, friendly and great location.
Relatively new coffee shop (estd. 2021) at the corner of Main and 20th. It used to be a Bean Around the World a while back.
Nice and roomy, lots of traffic on Sunday afternoon when I visited. Being a roaster, I had assumed they served a pourover but I was wrong, they only had drip coffee. A very good selection of pastries and cookies. Banana Chocolate Walnut muffin was slighly dry but yummy! The filling of rhubarb strawberry coffee cake was good as well.
Also, they sold many brewing equipments, which was a plus for me.
No high-chairs but enough room for strollers to maneuver and park around the table.

There’s a separate coffee shop and a cafe. Both were very busy and there isn’t a lot of seating available.

The coffee shop drinks were ok. They had really cute sugar cookies, but for $6, I was hoping they would be fresh. It was dry like a crouton.

The cafe menu had a few healthy options, which is good to see. The veggie panini was ok and I really enjoyed the side salad. Poutine and soup were good. Prices are a bit high for what they offer. But it’s a good enough place to visit while at the Aquarium.
Stunning coffee, even better pastries.

We stopped by more a morning pastry and coffee and it was an absolutely stunning start to the day.

The cinnamon roll was absolutely phenomenal and wonderfully sticky.

We will be back before our vacation ends.
very cute little cafe with nice coffee and ice cream! love the yuzu flavour (when it’s available).
coffee is freshly ground and there are lots of beans to pick from. my coffee loving friends love this place to try the siphon brew and the pour over
Fine botanical garden, nice flowers, BUT, for owners and managers of the place: If you decided to give half of the garden for 2 simultaneous weddings and restrict access to those places-then why do you take full price for admission ticket? Me and my wife came to relax and enjoy nature, but instead we ware asked to leave most photogenic spots, because it’s a “private party there”, I feel infinite lack of respect and professionalism from all the employe levels, totally unfair and disappointing.

When I bring the coffee, tea and the muffin back to the table in the patio, my wife is upset about the paper cup and the paper bag. She is so disappointed about the cup and plate. She say everyone understand that the pandemic makes so many things have to change.
She is still remember that we always bring friends form overseas for the traditional English afternoon tea years ago.
All my friends say this is a really nice place for afternoon tea with a scenery garden setting. There are still some shops and hotels offer afternoon tea in Vancouver but this is the only one with the beautiful garden.
My wife really hopes this place can bring all the good things when the situation is changing.
We hope you make this place is a memorable place for all visitors.
If you visit the garden, remember to have a lunch or drink there, you will like it.
Thank you for the staff are so nice and helpful when we visited in June 2023.
I have been on other Trees branches, so nothing to add about their high quality coffee and cakes. What is special about this branch is its vibe, cozy place to do work and friendly baristas.
We had a very pleasant stop today sitting under the shade of trees, enjoying oat cappuccino and latte. The espresso was strong, but not bitter, and the foam very well made. I also had gluten free toast which was not very filling, but better than other sugared gluten-free cookies. They offer all-day-breakfast, useful to remember when I need to sit under a tree during hot summer months. The bathroom was spotless – no dirt above or under the base boards.
Quaint little coffee house located in Kitslano. I sat here, had an iced latte and watched people. Pretty music playing in the background with art hung on the walls. Very good feel here.
I would have given 10 stars if there was an option just because of the helpful staff . The Baristas Bella and Wyatt are super duper awesome!!! Made my day. The art pieces are done by them and they are mind blowing! For the coffee, it can't get fresher than this. The espresso shot was one of the best i had. I got the Peruvian beans for my aeropress and it makes a killer coffee. Both of them went out of their way to help me choose the best coffee beans. And took out time to explain about the different coffees. One of the best places to have a cup of coffee in BC. I didn't have the chance to try the cheesecake which is supposedly the best but will save the edit for another review.
We recently had lunch after our walk in the garden. The cafe was not too busy and we got a table in the outdoor patio on the garden side.

There were reasonable options for lunch. There were sandwiches and wraps and simple desserts and snacks.

Coffee was good.

But the best part was to sit outside in the fresh air on a sunny day, which has been rare in Vancouver.

We enjoyed our outing very much

Stopped by for a quick coffee. The coffee shop is right by Burrard and 1st Ave. It’s quite bright with natural light and can get quite warm inside. The latte wasn’t bad. Good ambiance inside.
This is a nice modern coffee shop in the Arbutus/12th neighborhood. They roast their own coffee beans and they are not shy about it as their roasting machine is right at the front of the shop for everyone to see. The smell of coffee roasting is so wonderful and toasty especially on a cold day.

There's a big communal table in the middle of the shop and also a long counter by the window. The shop is quite cozy with warm lighting. It was not too busy late the afternoon so we were able to relax and enjoy our visit.

We were able to try the latte and chocolate croissant. The latte had a nice strong kick to it and not very acidic. We were hoping to try a mocha but didn't see it on their menu. The chocolate croissant was indeed quite chocolatey compared to other places.

You can buy their roasted coffee beans for $12 a bag. They got quite a bit of beans to choose ranging from decaf to espresso roasts.

Oh yes, they also serve ice cream too. We didn't get to try ice cream today as it was too cold, but when it warms up, we will certainly come back to try ice cream.
Love this cozy yet airy cafe! Firs the staff are amazing, and the space itself is so inviting and also has individual stations for you to work remotely while you enjoy your java and treats. The seasonal lattes are just bomb and have me coming back for more. Nothing more to say other than this, it is a lovely cafe!

What an amazing eclectic place! The ambiance and vibe reflect the owner's great taste in film, music and art in general.

The service is excellent! Besides coffee and sandwiches, Jitters offers a plate of tasty tapas to go with your alcoholic beverage beer/wine.

What is really fun and unique about this place is the sense of community and neighborly vibe whether you live on Kits or visiting for the first time.

For travelers: This is a unique gem to experience in Vancouver

I ordered the Cobb salad! The freshness of the ingredients is simply amazing! Tasty, nice presentation, fresh, delicious... Perfect place for a quick pit stop to refuel for your day!!!
Good and elegant environment atmosphere
Good services.
Clean environment.
Very expensive Equipment to make Coffee, Ice Cream. Pastry.....
Coffee beans 🫘 from different parts of the world. The whole process by the coffee roaster to make the miracle.
If you really enjoy the aroma and aroma eatery. This is the best choices for you.
This is one of the kind in Vancouver to serve the handmade Coffee . Handmade pastry. And hen make of Ice Cream.
When a person is demanding what you need. That means you have your basic standards of Taste. Please try it by yourself and you can tell.
Well, this café could be a lot better! It doesn't look like a well-equipped café that you can find in Vancouver!

📌 Located at at the VanDusen Botanical Garden's Visitor Center, The Truffles is more good for drinking than eating. You have to order in advance before sitting. If weather is nice, you can sit in patio with a picturesque view of the garden and its lake.

⛳️ As its part of the whole VanDusen Garden, the ceiling and decoration is contingent and eye-catching.

☕️ The coffee is average, yet good to have especially with the beautiful scenery.

By the way, you might see one or some ducks 🦆 under your feet! They warn to not feed birds, but some ducks come inside and eat bread and cookie crumbs on he floor and then leave!
Great place for breakfast and people watching! The coffee was delicious and breakfast was wonderful! The art inside is beautiful and the service was great too! We met an older gentleman who told us about the artist and how he got a custom piece done by them! So wonderful how this cafe brings the community together! 10/10 would recommend and will come back soon

Typically friendly and very enthusiastic staff at KAHVE. Low key environment for a chill study session, working remotely, or just hang out. I will definitely be back again.

Great coffee but slightly bitter to my taste. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich and it was delicious. The service can be a little more friendly.

This cafe made some pretty decent coffee. The cappuccino had good body and it was topped with nice froth and chocolate sprinkles.

Food wise, there were some sweet and savoury options. I tried the baked cheesecake, which was quite a large slice - more than I needed, but overall a well made cheesecake.

There was plenty of seating available inside this cafe around lunchtime on a weekend, including stool seating up the front where you can leisurely people watch. It can get pretty quiet, or where people are having a conversation everyone else can hear them.
Coffee is really good! The location is awesome. They also sell baked breads and variety of coffee bean bags. Their breakfast and lunch items seem good quality & little on the healthier side. There is a long table for studying. However, when it comes to service, definitely, there is a room for improvement. Staff can smile more! I barely noticed them smiling, and chairs are not comfortable.
Friendly service. Outdoor seating. Usual coffee atmosphere. Matcha latte is what they are known for plus there hot chocolate.

This place is nice and the avocado smoked salmon toast (came recommended) was fantastic. But I found the coffee too bitter for my taste. The staff were far friendlier to each other and to regulars than to me (someone walking in for first time).

But that salmon toast is a huge 5 stars. Portion not big but makes you appreciate every bite even more.
A favorite spot of mine. Afternoon Medium Decaf Capucinno is hot, nice coffee flavor, and just the right amount of coffee and foam. The cheesecake is amazing, although I try and go for something lighter. The lemon loaf is light with the right amount of sweetness. I tried their vegan cookie for the first time today. Filled with dried fruits and nuts, it is great and quite filling. Stop by and have a break.
