Such a cute little place where it’s good to have a coffee and a nice bite. Went over there in the morning and I have been welcomed by a sweet server who made sure that I had anything and the way I wanted. She knew exactly how. They’re welcoming well people, and the location itself it’s a pleasure to see and visit, really relaxing and inviting ! I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy half an hour cocooning
Always come here for 2 things coffee beans and a large latte. Two guys are always here doing the service, they're super friendly and have good advice. The vibe inside is pretty cool as well.

Such a great time at the cafe Lokal, as per usual, we waited a bit, but honestly it’s always a pleasure to be seating in this cocooning cafe. The team is really welcoming, smiling and helping. The atmosphere is always warm and the customers nice. The decoration is really atypical and will make you travel in some location in France. Their tables are really original and well thought and designed. Everywhere you look at there is a specific decor who gonna attract your eyes. The food is good, the coffee and other beverages as well. Enjoyable and lovable place, I recommend strongly

My friend and I came here to have brunch and chat and this was the perfect place for it! Very homey, affordable, lovely ambiance and excellent service .

The avocado toast is good but the toast was a bit hard and too crunchy. The matcha latte was pretty good and I got less sweet and such cute latte art! The london fog was also decent although is a bit on the sweet side. I'm not sure if I would get the avocado toast again for the price but everything is pretty good. I don't recommend this place for studying as it is pretty loud but it's perfect for catching up with a friend. Lovely service and their blueberry muffin is also delicious!

Overall, recommend!

An amazing gem in kits. Everything here is so delicious.
I wish there had more options of cookies and pastries.
This location is never consistant in any category in contrast with their other locations. They are always low on food items and if they do have any available, it's older inventory. The food most definitely isn't as fresh as the other locations. Furthermore, their selection is very limited as they attempt to execute and minimize their daily food waste at the expense of us customer's enjoyment and joy. This location diminishes the hype, drive, and excitement for coffee. Speaking of coffee, very limited selection ; other locations have the luxury to offer the entire selection of your basic brews. This location only offers what will methodically sell. This is disappointing. I know plenty of methods to resolve this but that'd be a conversation for another day when I'm offered a basic medium roast brew. Your other locations have it. Overall, clean and tidy store. Calmimg enviornment. Parking in the area sucks.
No line ups. Friendly staff. Local attractions are just steps away.
Great views.

A must do in Vancouver. One of the most iconic specialty cafe’s in the world, offering some of the best coffee’s from all over the world. Had a wonderful washed Kenyan on pour over from Morgon roasters from Sweden. They were serving intelligentsia which is so….interesting…..

Local is my local. I visit once or twice a month in the Winter and once or twice a week in the summer. The staff are fantastic and the food/coffee is always good. They welcome me and my dog to sit outside and enjoy the great coffee, atmosphere and location.

I had a horrible negative experience at Cafe Lokal on 4th Ave.

I ordered my coffee and this is how I received it (see picture). I was shocked when I saw the ticket and the fact that they had written “INDIAN GIRL”.

There are numerous ways to identify a person without using race as the first. Yes I have brown skin, but that should not be the characteristic to identify me by. Also I am not a girl, I’m a full gown woman in my 30’s. There are a lot of assumptions here about my ethnicity, gender, age etc. When in simple they could identify me by order number, table number, or simply just ask my name!

I’m shocked beyond words as I have always experienced inclusivity here in my hometown of Vancouver. This is not how we treat diversity, this is not a good representation of our beautiful community in Kitsilano!
This place is ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee, and scrumptious sandwiches! The cajun chicken sandwich was stuffed with fresh ingredients. The servers are jolly, and super friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, and hence perfect for starting the day! There are communal tables for collective noshing.

There are many kinds of beans available for purchase. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm. When I went there at noon on a weekday, it was almost full, and I had to wait for a while. The brew flight and tasting flight are very distinctive and suitable for coffee enthusiasts.

Loved it. Beautiful location. I'm from Seattle and love going to Starbucks around the world.☕️
I recently tried the Ham and Cheddar Sandwich, which was really nice. I especially liked the texture of the toasted sandwich. It's hard to find a spot for a quick lunch in this area, but this store was a great find for me.

This coffee shop is for the real coffee guru. Each cup is freshly made in front of you like in a lab... An experience! As for me, I'm more of a latte guy, so it was a bit wasted on me. Also, I was looking forward to a piece of cake with my coffee, but as I'd left it late in the day to visit, there was nothing left. It is a good place for serious coffee lovers though, in Gastown, Vancouver.
This is my favourite coffee shop in Vancouver! Everything is delicious and Penny is in the front of the house with a big smile every single morning…she makes the whole experience very especial. 🤍

We love you Penny! ✨🫶🏽

This is a hidden gem in Vancouver!
The place it’s beautiful and cozy, it’s full of plants and feels alive. Friendly staff and good food! Recommend to go 🫶🏼♥️

What a great spot!

Their espresso was super smooth (I had it in an iced oat latte). I also got a green onion cheese scone. Should have asked to have the scone warmed, but it was still very fresh and delicious!

I appreciate that they have two different seating rooms - one with a large, communal table for people to work at, and one with little booths that are perhaps better suited for meeting friends.

Staff were very friendly and on the ball and I found the music selection and noise level to be perfect. They also had a really lovely selection of take home goods for purchase at the front of the store!

Will be back to try an espresso flight :)

Love this coffee shop! The vibe, the coffee, the music, the service, the beans they carry. So glad I got to squeeze in a visit to Revolver before catching my flight out of Vancouver. I certainly had the best coffee for last. ☕
Very positive experience. The barista that took my order was so friendly and made sure to put me at a table where there would be room to store the big instrument I was carrying. They were pretty busy but the assigned seating system took the stress out of finding and choosing a place to sit. Nicely designed place, both in terms of aesthetic and the layout, which fits in lots of seating but isn’t cramped.
I got the Nordic salmon toast, a walnut chocolate chip cookie, and a rooibos tea. All great! Fresh toppings and tasty dill cream cheese on the toast. The cookie was really really good, soft, buttery, chewy, packed with big chunks of chocolate. The tea, although it was just a regular brewed tea, was particularly nice too. They removed the tea leaves before giving it to me and it was brewed perfectly strong with a deep flavour.
The prep time for the food was fast enough that I was in and out in about half an hour. Will probably make a lunch stop here again.
This place is lovely!! Amazing chai and sandwich, and the staff were so kind, I definitely recommend!!

Great little cafe, very good matcha and homemade almond milk! The atmosphere is very zen and there are also great homemade desserts. I will come back!
I was in a meeting nearby and needed something quick to eat. I grabbed the Turkey and Brie sandwich from this coffee shop and really liked it. I have another appointment in a few weeks and will try the pulled pork then. I hope to find the same consistency.
I visited for the first time and the atmosphere was so good.

I liked the hot chocolate taste because it was soft and sweet enough.

I appreciate the kindness of the staff.

No seating. I feel like I am not worthy.. hence will never be this Starbucks. Other coffee shops within the block have great pastries and coffee.. oh well
I always judge an espresso bar on the quality of their macchiato. Pallet’s was super smooth and flavorful. I was told it was a Brazilian and Central American blend for this month. I will go many times more

We are tourists, we really like cycling, in our country we practice it 100%. We were visiting cycling places in Canada to have a nice experience, but we didn't feel it here.

We only saw:
Rude staff on the cafe side.
Very bad customer service
staff range from pleasant to quite disengaged
quite elitist
They do not accept cash
Sorry, I won't be back.this is not cycling.
Convenient location to burn some hours chilling with a cold brew.
Stopped for a muffin and latte. The space is inviting (lots of plants) and the baristas were really nice - I changed my mind twice mid-order, but they were cool about it. My iced latte (decaf, almond milk) was great, very smooth. I had a vegan blueberry passionfruit muffin. I was drawn to the muffin in the case because, seeing all the blueberries on top, I had expected a lot of berries distributed throughout too, but it turned out there were no berries inside the muffin at all. Maybe this was an intentional decision to put all the berries on top, but I could not get on board with it, it made the bottom half of the muffin very plain. I liked the vibe of the place and the coffee was great so I’d definitely give it another try, but would be a little careful about my baked good selection next time.

Had a great cappuccino here, curiously served in a glass. Very smooth and I was grateful it was not overdone with seamed milk.
On my visit there was a small selection of pastries. I tried the vanilla custard filled brioche donut.

The furnishings are rustic. I really like this quaint place.

Edit: Thinking back this really was an excellent cappuccino... I'm now wishing I had tried the espresso flight experience the other beans the use. This really is a great place for coffee enthusiast.

Absolutely loved the dacquoise, we tried honey pistachio, strawberry & mango & they were all delicious. They were a good size for a snack, unlike other places where the pastries are large enough to be a full meal. My bf got the matcha latte & he said it was one of the best ones he's ever had. We make our own at home with all the traditional stuff but it was just excellent quality, very smooth. The Spanish latte was tasty as well & the latte art in the heart was a nice touch. The man working there was nice as well. Definitely high on my list of cafés & will happy be back soon. Also, loved this art on the wall. Wasn't able to take photos of the food as it was too good to stop eating haha

Great service, great staff, and welcoming environment. On the bike side, the Enroute team has helped me out of a jam several times this summer due to mechanical issues and get me back riding as soon as possible. On the cafe side, the staff are great - eager to get to know you by name, with great coffee and pastries. Overall, great place to hang out, engage with the vibrant local cycling community, get your bike serviced by their expert mechanic, and drink good coffee.

The almond milk cappuccino is average and quite small. The price on the other hand is very high. I am a little disappointed. Nothing special but the bathroom was clean. I admit I am perhaps spoiled after some time in Budapest where the coffee is much much better.
There was mold on the tomatoes!!!
How is it possible to sell???
I ordered a vegetarian samosa with side salad. I took at work for lunch but I couldn’t even eat it. It was disgusting!
Do NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.
Beautiful place. We went for their Barbie party, and they had themed cupcakes and Frappuccinos. Everything was decorated super cute, and the owner was extremely nice and welcoming! All the food looked delicious and the prices are so good! 100% recommended!
A+ customer service. The Spanish lady working at 3pm on Friday is awesome. Such positive energy. Our new store. Thank you!
I stumbled upon a coffee shop in Strathcona, and it was a delightful surprise. The coffee was delicious, and the banana muffin was both sweet and soft. I also enjoyed the quiet ambiance in the morning.

I ordered a homemade cheesecake made by the owner. It is the best cheesecake I have ever had. The cake taste delicate and texture is silky smooth. I enjoyed eating the cake under their colorful cloud light and have had perfect mood for my rest of the day. I will definitely come back!
I discovered this location a couple of days ago, and I must say, the coffee and the food are amazing. You can even see the roasting machine in the back, adding to the atmosphere. The staff is amiable and welcoming.
I recommend trying the combo. I ordered the Raspberry Scone with a latte, and it was a good match. The pastry is soft and sweet, while the coffee tastes fresh. 10/10
Ordered a chai latte and a latte with date square. Everything was great quality, date square was quite sweet and we were glad to support a cafe that believes in Fair trade. Next time I will even try a coffee!

Beautiful and cozy coffee shop. Service was very friendly and quick. Did not enjoy the food and drink…

Mushroom Toast - bread was tough, there was a spread of hummus and an odd piece of lettuce and flavourless mushrooms. For $14+ no thank you…

Coffee - black coffee was extremely sour. Possibly the sourest I’ve ever had. Could not drink straight and had to add milk and sugar…
I recently visited Corner Cup Coffee House and had an amazing experience!

The butter chicken wrap was absolutely delicious and flavorful.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the visit even more enjoyable. The location is perfect, with a nice atmosphere and cozy ambiance.

I would highly recommend this coffee house to anyone looking for a tasty meal or just a great cup of coffee.

Thank you, Corner Cup Coffee House, for an unforgettable experience!
Had the Long Pull, basically an americano with less hot water. Store is clean and bright, high ceilings and decent enough space to sit inside or outside. Lots of food and drink options. On a busy intersection downtown, best to walk to.

Specialty coffee is a serious business, and this place is definitely an open door to this world. A large selection of coffee beverages, baked goods, Coffee beans & all things coffee! Very hipster concept and interior, I loved every bit of it. My latte to-go was perfection: So rich, the specific notes of the roasted beans, the perfect texture of the milk. Really friendly staff!

We loved stumbling across this place. Aside the hottest Black coffee cups ever. It was a lovely pit stop. Great choice of cakes as well. Friendly owner. Win.
Out for a walk on another rainy day in Vancouver with my pal Lindy. Decided to try this little corner Cafe in the hood. Didn't eat this time but maybe another. Since prices have shot up drastically in last few months a small piece of cheesecake @ 5 bucks seems like a luxury now. The coffee was good and we ran into an old roomy we hadn't seen for over a year or so.. It's a nice quiet comfy spot with lots of natural light. Recommend...

This little gem is my favorite coffee place! All the lattes I’ve tried are way beyond my expectations with reasonable price. The desserts are rich in flavor but not too sweet, which is perfect for me. And the warm, cozy feeling makes the store more relaxing to stay.

On the corner of Davie/Thurlow, this location is small, yet efficient. No seating inside, I’m sure this is mainly grab and go. A few stools on the counter would be perfect for people watching.
Service was prompt and friendly.

A very homey cafe with table service, bit of a wait on the weekends for brunch during peak times. The staff were lovely, very communicative which we appreciated. Their espresso is delicious and strong. Sandwiches/paninis are filling and paired with enough greens.

Best coffee I've had in Vancouver!! And the avocado toast was on a homemade focaccia toast and was absolutely delicious!
Everything is made in house and looks amazing! I'm definitely coming back!
Decent coffee. Latte was tasty enough and we were happy with it. Cafe is specious with enough room between tables . The interior design is nice, decorated by plants and lights. Staff are nice and friendly. Didn’t try any pastries yet. Will be back soon
Update: pastries are fresh few time I tried. Almond croissant is my favourite
Enroute is doing hard working bring such good brand and product. I like the way that work. I've been there brand opening & ride. The manager, he was super nice and friendly. No complain and this will be the best bike & coffee shop ever.

I give it a hundred Stars if I could. Very beautiful full over 7,500 different plant species, hummingbirds, hawks, Canadian geese, herons, butterflies and turtles oh and Koi. Although that's what the brochure says I didn't see any birds but did hear some, didn't see any Turtles and only saw one koi. It's like a lush Garden that you've never been into like The Secret Garden. Lots of beautiful flowers and I would imagine the best time to visit would probably be the springtime. There's an amazing maze there that was so much fun to go through that has 3,000 pyramid Cedars so you can't see over the top. There's a very beautiful serene and pictures small lake with waterfall and architecture with sculptures. The cost is under $10. Definitely, worth the visit to Grandville area.
Charming coffee shop with fantastic looking food. We didn't try anything this visit as we had just eaten, but the breakfast and brunch items looked great.

We got an Iced tea and a green smoothie. They freshly steep the tea and let us know in advance that it would take five minutes.

Very friendly customer service. Airy, charming g setting with an outdoor patio. Restroom available.

We'll be back.

I really want to like this place - the location is great, the shop is super cute and the coffee is good. After several disappointing experiences, however, I won't be back.

On the café side, the staff range from pleasant to pretty disengaged. On top of that, the food and coffee is overpriced. On the bike side, the staff I have engaged with have been unhelpful and pretty elitist. The whole atmosphere is very unwelcoming and not at all reflective of the supportive cycling community that exists in Vancouver. This place has the potential to be awesome, but Enroute needs to consider a major attitude adjustment :)
And here’s why 5 ⭐️
Hand made in store baking.
Attention to detail on how they manage the entire coffee cycle.

And… the people are genuine. That’s the fifth 🌟
I can’t say how much this is to any establishment. The people. You can get good coffee from a lot of places but it’s the people that make it great.

Never disappointed by the quality of the service, food and coffee here.

Sunday, 13 Feb 2022, 3:30pm. Paid for coffee, waited 7 minutes, it turned out they forgot about my order ... Returned the money back, bought coffee nearby ... 5 loafers - what are they doing there?
Wasted my time . 5 baristas can’t handle a simple coffee order. Starbucks employees should be more on top of their game for the price they charge.
I ordered a Chai and a sandwich. Both are fantastic and so delicious. The couch I’m sitting on is super comfortable, and the guy at the register was so nice. So glad I came in here. Thanks

Probably the worst Starbucks I've been to. I ordered a strawberry Frappuccino and there was something missing. It did not taste like other Starbucks. It lacked flavour. Also my wife ordered a caramel mocha Frappuccino, they gave her a hot drink. But it did taste good. Anyways, not recommending this store.

I really liked the flavour of this coffee. Simple interior decor. A little too uncluttered for my taste in terms of cafes. I think the atmosphere just didn't quite invite me to linger to finish my coffee inside or to return unless I'm in the area. Nice staff. Washroom available.
Outstanding customer Service!

It was our first visit to the cafe and were juggling between Basket and High Tea for afternoon lunch today and finally opted for high tea based on suggestion from Jagdish at the front desk. We made a request for a vegetarian sandwich as it's not a standard menu item and she took the request. I must say that it's the finest vegetarian sandwich we have ever had with fine choice of ingredients such as Egg plant, tomatoes, mushroom, zucchini, cheese and sauce. It literally melted in our mouth! The savouries and croissant were equally delicious. Additionally, her outgoing customer service and the ability to seek feedback on how the food is an icing on the cake.
We were ecstatic about the food, happy with the price tag and delighted with the above and beyond customer service offered by her. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone who visits Vancouver.

Well, one of the few branches in Vancouver that stay open late.

☑️ This is one of the good branches that have stayed consistent in the quality of the hot and cold drinks they provide.

🏜 Location-wise, this is a good place to order your drink and enjoy Marinaside Crescent, and David Lam park nearby.

📱*Mobile orders are mostly the priority. So, order ahead.

My recommandation:
- Starbucks Blonde Vanilla Latte (three shots of syrup makes ir more smooth for Venti size)
- Cinnamon Dolce Latte (three shots of syrup makes ir more smooth for Venti size)

Seasonal coffee:
- Chestnut Praline Latte (three shots of syrup makes ir more smooth for Venti size)
- Pumpkin Spice Latte (three shots of syrup makes ir more smooth for Venti size)

Enjoy!👌

Changing my old 5-star review of the coffee shop after a number of negative experiences, here. On separate occasions, both my partner and I were excessively overcharged for service.

I went in for a bike service, booked beforehand, was sent a confirmation and calendar hold saying service would be complete on the same day. Showed up, was told it would be done *in a few days*. Asked them to take a look at a few things & call me if there were any issues. No communication whatsoever and they call me to pick it up many days later. They charged me $1,200 & had swapped major drivetrain components that did not need replacement. Some of that charge was things I asked for. They just upgrade things willy-nilly and expect people not to notice. Or, in both my partner and my experience on separate occasions, blame a “shop miscommunication” and then try to justify the forced-upsell as necessary work. Once called out on their dishonesty, they admitted the parts were not needed & reinstalled.

The whole experience was dishonest & poorly communicated. I loved visiting the coffee shop, but the whole bike service felt like a scam designed to extract as much money as possible from inattentive point grey bike daddies. Look at your bill closely, these folks are going to attempt squeezing a few extra hundred dollars of upgrades that you don’t need.

Today was my first time back at Pallet since March and I felt very comfortable and safe here. There was a big bottle of sanitizer at the entrance, and after tapping to pay, the cashier immediately wiped down the machine. There was also another bottle of sanitizer for the customer to use after payment. There was a plexiglass between the staff and customers. Come try their coffee and BYO breakfast. There is a variety of bread, protein, and cheese to choose from, an egg and greens included. Portion was generous for $9, very reasonable. The staff is friendly as usual, even during this difficult time.

First time here. Love this coffee shop. It was not too crowded here. The ambience was very comfortable that I could hear noisy but not too noisy.

I love they sell cream puffs with different flavours. A barista recommended the vanilla and matcha cream puffs. I went with the matcha cream puff and it was so good!! They used real and strong matcha powder for the cream. The cream puff was not too sweet that the flavour was about right. I really enjoyed eating it. I also ordered a latte. It was very smooth and the coffee flavour was about right.

I went to their washroom. It was really cool! It had a red sink! It was very unique that we don't usually see a red sink in a washroom. The coffee shop has good decor. They use black, white, grey colours with red as an accent.

If I am in the neighbourhood again, I would love to go back and try other beverages and food here.

One last thing I like about this coffee shop is that there is a long table in the centre. Whoever uses laptops at this coffee should sit at the long table. These people with laptops should save the tables for guests who really come here for a coffee and food.

If you want coffee that's more ethical, and better than the generic stuff you can pick up at any old grocery store, Allegro is where it's at. That being said, it's certainly not the best coffee option in the city. It's OK.

Great find, amazing space (bright and good use of area) If I had to pick a coffee shop that represents this city, here’s the place. Food is local and coffee is some of the best in the city. Friendly staff, plenty of free parking, outdoor seating, and they cater to both laptop warrior types and others who just want a place to enjoy some fresh brew.

Fresh baked goods were tasty, tables were dirty however which always raises concerns about general hygiene levels.
Place is nice but not welcoming.
Moreover, the space could be used more wisely. There are a lot of tables but still a lot of unused space left.
Quite variety of pastries but known for their buns. Buns with cream filling taste supper good but don’t look appealing on the counter.
Staff is friendly and the coffee is fine.
The menu is a bit pricy.
Very bright and spacious coffee place!
Good coffee and wide range of food for a coffee shop.
Note: kitchen works only until 2pm.
Not all tables are “laptop-friendly”, would not recommend for long hours of work.
Staff was not very friendly, though.
This was my first time to visit this coffee shop as I was working in this neighbourhood. I saw some good or bad comments about this coffee shop. I tried the other branches at other two locations. They were pretty good, so I decided to try this one on west broadway.

I came here around 1pm. There was some customers. No lineup. It was great! A barista at the cashier greeted me with a pleasant smile and asked for my order. I ordered a cheddar cheese scone and a cup of 12oz latte. They cost me $8.05. The price was average and reasonable. The scone was soft but it would be nice if a barista could heat it up a little bit, so it would be warm and fresh again. The latte was smooth and had a good balance of milk and coffee. I liked it.

The ambience was comfortable but I did not have a chance to sit, eat and relax here. Overall, I had a great experience here.
