Great place downtown Toronto for all types of bagel or bagel sandwiches. They also have casual breakfast and lunch menus. Freshly squeezed juices are also available.

The drinks here are average at best, especially considering the higher prices. The service at this spot seems to have earned its reputation, and after reading through reviews, it’s clear why.

Very cute cafe with unique drink options and a very nice space for getting work done. Most tables have access to an outlet and I saw many laptops.
We tried the matcha drop and espresso tonic. The espresso tonic was very refreshing and light. The matcha drop was a pretty drink but the flavour was flat. I drink matcha nearly everyday and didn't find this matcha to be especially good.
We also got the matcha cookie and it was decent. I'd come to this place again to try other drinks or meet with friends.

Okay bagel restaurant. The bagels are fresh, but the cream cheese portions are not too generous - I would recommend ordering extra.

The atmosphere is very calm and comfortable. It’s a good place to sit and do work. The drinks are unique and made with care and taste really good ! I usually get like 3 drinks during my trips to this cafe ! The staff are very kind and welcoming and open to recommending drinks that are good. The place is a bit small so if you come in the afternoon there might not be much space to sit, the earlier the better. Overall a very good place and I recommend.
I ordered iced latte and it was nice. I think it's little bit expensive, it was total $8. Anyway it was delicious and the atmosphere of the cafe was cool. It's also easy to find, it is located at the first floor.

Large americano coffee is made with 4 shots of espresso. Coffee is medium bodied with low acidity.
Croissant has real taste of butter and crispy at a room temperature.

One of the most pleasant and atmospheric coffee shops, where you can have your coffee, have your meal and concentrate on an activity or meeting.

Latte was amazing. 16oz came to $8.29. I’m trying all the different coffee shops in the city, and this has to be my number one now. Very pleasant, strong and great area to sit back, relax and have a coffee. This is a place I’ll always stop by when visiting The Well. Food here looks great too.
One of the best iced oat lattes I've had in the city! Just docked a star because a regular latte and a cookie was $11.50. So good though (the dark chocolate peanut butter cookie was SO yum) will be back!
Lemonade and ice coffee were good. Server was really nice, bless her. Definitely will return.

Their food is fresh and delicious. I usually get the breakfast bagel. Fresh cracked egg, turkey, bacon, cheese and the most delicious bagel, so soft and delicious.
Their donuts are soooo fresh. The owner said they bake for multiple stores so they’re always fresh and ready to go. Soft and huge, these donuts do not disappoint. If you want them ultra fresh, go a few days before your event and make a custom order for pickup in the morning. Oh man. Heaven. Nothing like the competition.

I'd say De Mello is one of the best specialty coffee places in Toronto. I used to go to both of their Midtown branches (old one with umbrellas is the best!), now I go to their branch at The Well and it's perfect. Dancing goat based Flat White is my usual pick, place is very consistent and it opens 7:30 AM during the weekdays.
All around great coffee spot in Toronto. The aero press cup of coffee was amazing. The pastries were delightful. We had just gotten back from a trip to Europe and their pastries were so close to the taste and texture. I loved the combo of Rhubarb and Pistachio. The staff were so helpful in identifying the right coffee to order as well as when picking up a bag to take home as a gift for my spouse. There is a bit of construction going on around the location but we found a parking lot down the street to park in. I guess it was ok because we didn’t receive a ticket.

This place used to be one of my go-to spots for breakfast and lunch, but I had a terrible experience today. My partner and I sat down and ordered, but every table that came in after us was served their food first although we ordered before them. When we asked a server about our order, she asked what we had ordered. We couldn't remember the exact names since we ordered multiple items, and when we tried to explain, she rolled her eyes and gave us a sassy attitude without offering any help.
A few minutes later, we asked our main server, and he said our food would be out soon, even though we had already been waiting the longest, around 25-30 minutes.
They brought out our sides first, which included a bagel and salad. The bagel wasn't prepared as we requested—one side with cream cheese and the other with butter—so we had to send it back. When our main dish, the Melted Hash, finally arrived, it was dry, unlike the others we've had this here. Additionally, by the time the Hash arrived, we finished our drinks and were almost finished eating the sides (see images).

Fabulous!!! Everything about this cafe is adorable. They sell some cool chips, beer, wine, tea bags etc.
The Sunday afternoon crew is so nice. Even though I placed the wrong order in my mobile app, they gave me the drink I actually wanted. Thank you so much, guys! You made my day.
Came here due to its good reviews. I ordered a piece of Matcha roll cake which costed $7. I bought it because it's a matcha roll cake, but I could hardly taste any matcha in it despite the label says 'matcha'. I couldn't tell any difference from a normal, cheap $2 roll cake I can get in any groceries. It's a total rip off.

Fantastic, freshly-made donuts in-store! Yes, they still do that some places (gives Tim a side-eye) and you'll notice they are not just fresh but HUGE, not all-hole and skinny as an onion-ring! (Tim gets the side-eye again).
Plus, the Chocolate Eclairs and 'Cream Delight' donuts actually have real whipped-cream inside, not instant pudding! And when they run out, they just make more, because the donuts are fresh, not frozen and shipped from some factory somewhere and just 'refreshed' in the store. (Slaps Tim).

I recently visited coffee Lunar and had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is enjoyable, making it a standout spot in the area compared to the usual options like Starbucks. Although it is a bit pricey, I appreciate the thoughtful design of the menu and the packaging. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
We were waiting for a Fringe show and decided to grab a quick bite and drink. We’ve heard about Rooster Coffee House, but never stepped foot in one so we decided to try it out. We got the Sourdough Chocolate Chip because it sounded weird and we’re all about weirdness. We couldn’t taste the sourdough, but the taste was on point. We also got an Almond Raspberry Danish which had a strong raspberry flavor, which we enjoyed. The coffee here is strong so if you’re looking for a pick me up you can’t go wrong with Rooster!
I’ve ordered the Yuzu lemonade and mascot cake. Both of them are not too sweet (which is I like!). Quite chill place! The bathroom was hidden lol
Good cafe with some seating and great service. I got the matcha drop cold drink. It tasted good but I would have preferred if it were milk based rather than water based and a bit stronger of the matcha flavour. My friends tried the vanilla drop latte and they said it was fantastic.
Glad that this coffee place is next door to my office. Cause you know, office coffee is never good. I always love their flat white and latte. But today I tried a drink from the seasonal menu called “beetroot latte” it’s like cinnamon and beetroot in milk. I never saw something like that in any coffee shop menu so was just curious to try.
But if you are stopping by for coffee then it’s hands down very good.
The coffee shop also have cute rustic aesthetics and the service is very good. Also everything is very reasonable priced.

Some of the best pizza in Toronto. Great price, very friendly staff and a great selection of pop to try. I recommend the Spitfire Ginger Ale.

REALLY GOOD coffee, I ordered an oat Cortado and it was made very well. Also grabbed a gluten-free muffin which was fresh and fantastic. Great vibes too, love the atmosphere and music inside. Highly recommend!
Be sure to discover this place before it closes. June 29, 2024 is their last day. A big loss for the coffee world. At least their story is good as they are embarking on an even bigger adventure. So happy for them as much as I'm sad they are closing. A very special place with brilliant coffee!
Being a coffee nut, a fellow coffee roaster, ill say the team at Ethica Coffee Roasters are easily the most knowledgeable, experienced and creative coffee crew in Toronto hands down. In fact, its probably the only place where you can get an aeropress coffee, and done right. If you want to talk about the pros and cons about different coffee bean grinders, they are the best suited to do so. If you want advice on brewing at home, they are awesome at this. And their coffee beans, easily top 3 on Toronto. You need to check it out.
Mobile order waited for 40mins. One mobile order with 2 drink. Received first one and waited for 40mins. Tried to ask the barista and she kept saying they were behind the order. After 40mins, asked again and she said I made the order and gave to someone with same name. She said she need to review the receipt before making the order again. After 45mins received the order.
We stopped for a quick lunch. We had a breakfast bagel and a gluten free egg white bagel both with side of French fries. The iced oat cappuccino was nice and frothy. Nice outdoor seating.
Their sandwiches are soo good! Packed and made with fresh ingredients. You can ask to change them too because I always get it without mayo since I don’t like it.
I also usually grab a coffee and a banana bread or apple loaf slice and those are also great.

I can't enough good things about this place. Everybody is friendly and polite. All the staff quickly learns and remembers usual orders. Smiles are always free here. Best donuts in town!

I ordered a blonde roast coffee with 1 cream, 1 mocha on Thursday May 30, 2024 between 2-3pm. A polite, coloured girl served my coffee. I’m a frequent Starbucks customer who loves my blonde roast. I noticed a slight taste that was unusual and uncharacteristic of Starbucks coffee. After 5 minutes of finishing my cup on an empty stomach, I felt overwhelmingly nauseous, I threw up and passed out in my car. My entire day was ruined due to severe illness. I’m extremely upset and concerned about the quality of food and beverage being served at this particular location which compelled me to leave this review. I sincerely hope the manager cares about their food safety standards to investigate this incident and remedy it.

We got the LAMBORGHINI PIZZA and the KING SHROOM PIZZA (with hot honey drizzled on top).
The Lamborghini pizza was more like a middle eastern type of pizza. I’ve never had lamb on pizza before and this one was not bad.
I actually prefer the king shroom pizza even though there was no meat. It was light and the lemon wedge added a little kick to the pizza. The hot honey was also a really nice addition.
Overall it’s a decent place for pizza. I’ll come here if I’m in the area and can’t decide where to go.

Love this place. Donuts are some of the best you’ll find and they won’t cost you an arm and leg like those “fancy” donut shops. Coffee is always fresh, and the staff couldn’t be more polite and friendly. Head and shoulders above Tim Hortons
The frozen pizza experience - what happened??? It was TERRIBLE!! They added packaging so you can’t see the pizza in the box - why?! This is 2024 - we don’t “add” wasteful packaging!! The pizza was a disaster - big chewy mushrooms , sawdust Parmesan in the centre - it was just simply a mess. We had another I forgot to photograph - margherita - same thing carelessly made and not what they were selling even 3 months ago. We picked at the centres and tossed the rest - for $12 frozen pizza - Extremely Disappointed.

Amazing coffee shop, great for going with friends or solo. Offers quick WiFi and seating options. The coffee was delicious. They had many pastries as well. I loved that you are able to send postcards all over the world, very cute. Highly recommend!

Just Went there to order something and the cashier an elderly( probably Kenner) was busy with his own people chit chatting and didn’t bothered to serve me.for almost 3-4 mins, he kept talking to them, standing at cash register .i was so disappointed with such behaviour. Later a filipino lady walks in and cuts me in the line to order. I was like , lady have some common sense. The cashier immediately starts serving her, despite of the fact that I was there before her. I was so mad, that I left the store without even ordering anything. Never ever gonna go back there. People need to learn basic etiquettes

Had a wonderful visit to Toronto with 2 mornings spent at Ethica! The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is top tier for greb-and-go coffeeshop vibes, and I had the most flavorful flat white I (someone who grew up in the coffee industry, and who drinks one almost daily) has ever had! Only complaint was from some people who got drip or pour over but preferred a darker roast
The food was delicious, and the servers were indeed friendly. Perhaps because the restaurant was busy, they seemed a bit rushed, clearing plates without asking or offering the bill prematurely, making it feel like they were trying to rush customers out. It might not be the best place for a leisurely brunch on a lazy weekend afternoon.
This morning (Thu Mar 28) around 8am, I went to purchase a few baked goods. The staff were so awesome! There were two guys and they are both fantastic individuals. They made me feel very welcome and shared some of their fantastic energy with me. These two individuals really made my day! For reference, this is the location near the TTC/GO bus terminal. Good pizza spot. I really like how light and thin the dough is, makes it not feel as heavy. I’ve definitely had better pizza in Toronto, but this place is pretty good and you get your pizza quickly.
First time visiting this cafe. Such a cozy coffee spot. To drink, I had their cream drop drink with a chicken sandwich and white choco matcha cookie. Very tasty!

Refused to give me a sipping lid. Forced me to take a straw with my cold brew. Excuse given was they only give sipping lids for nitro cold brews. Never heard anything so absurd every other Starbucks defaults to sipping lids.

I’ve been to many Starbucks but this one is favourite by far. I always get the iced matcha latte and they do it perfectly every single time. The staff are all extremely welcoming; whether it’s first thing in the morning or late just before close, they’re all always smiling and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Love it!
My friend recommended this place for brunch so we went together on a Saturday around 12pm. Although it was quite busy and bustling in there, the servers were very efficient and friendly.

Not to exaggerate, but this coffee place is truly my sanctuary. Sunday mornings are my cherished alone time for meditation, and this is one of my favorite spots. The latte art by the baristas here is nothing short of breathtaking (they once crafted a swan for me!!). The coffee is excellent, and the space is open and airy, situated on the first floor of a hall. The coconut scone has become my go-to comfort food, with its perfect balance of crunchiness and moisture, sweetness and savory. The sunlight streaming through the glass ceilings just adds to the enchanting atmosphere.

Early birds at Yorkdale Mall, rejoice! 🌞 Starbucks opens at the crack of dawn, serving as a beacon of hope for those of us with ungodly morning shifts. Stumbled in, half-asleep, and a hero behind the counter upgraded my order from a 'small' (or whatever fancy Starbucks lingo it is) to a large - no extra charge! 🎉 However, not all that glitters is gold. A little decorum, please? Some staff were a tad too chummy, tossing slangs with customers as if we were at a backyard BBQ, not a professional setting. Made the queue feel longer than a Monday. 🙄 But hey, taste and service are top-notch! Just wish everyone could enjoy their coffee without a side of slang. ☕✨

The service was great! We didn't wait at all for a table, and our server was very jolly and chatty with a constant smile. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was delicious! The portions were pretty big, about what I expect for the price which is good.

Great mom and pop cafe. Very simple and clean food ! My toddler enjoys going there to have a snack while I get recharged with cappuccino. There are books and even figurines if you have a toddler. I love the cozy decor and space.
As an American who lives in a foreign country nothing’s better than going to places where you can celebrate your authentic heritage and culture. This specific Starbucks is where I can fully reminisce my good old memories. Even only by taking me back home for few minutes. They have the most amazing people in their team. They work together as a unit just like a family with such positive and welcoming attitude and of course under a wonderful supervisory system. I was greeted in with a shot of hot chocolate and beautiful smiles. Both were so yummy. lol 😉. Not to mention right after by seeing youth of the nation part of that incredible organization melted my heart. This is exactly what American culture stands for. I'm beyond grateful to witness these young members of society working happily with such upbeat energy.

Beautiful cafe close to St Lawrence Market and George Brown College. Came at 10:45AM on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. Very nice ambiance perfect for a date, but they do have limited hours where you can't have your laptop (first time seeing this at a cafe). Their brewed coffee was good and smooth. Looks like their bakery is located at this location and everything looked delicious!

One of the last country styles that bake on site fresh donuts . The donuts are bigger and better made than Tim Hortons. If you are in this area get your donuts here . I recommend the apple fritter , chocolate eclair, Hawaiian donut, country bits .

Very very slow to get orders ready. I usually order ahead of time and they have about 4-5 people working and no orders usually ready on time. Quite inefficient

I was craving coffee today and after my ultrasound decided to stop by and get something decaf. The ladies offered me decaf hazelnut syrup cappuccino, and I also got a chocolate croissant.....later, I got sausage and egg muffin 😁

Cozy and comfortable. Excellent coffee and pastries served by the owners offering friendly and efficient service. Comfortable seating indoors or out on the patio on a quiet side street. This will be my place for morning coffee.

Praise them for being open on New Years morning 2022! I have been here a number of times but never wrote a review--my bad. I love this little shop! Always a surprise! Sometimes they sell Le Creuset, other times yummy ice cream... but one thing for sure, great coffee, fresh croissant and No 7 Hot Sauce! Also much praise to the barista this morning, cheerful and just super nice!

I have nothing but good to say about this location. Very friendly people. I always find myself a bit out of my element ordering coffee and often more so at Starbucks chain stores. Fortunately the staff here make the experience so comfortable. Unlike Tim Hortons in my Hometown of Sylvan Lake Alberta, the staff here actually do their job and they excel at it. I guess Im comparing Gold to Dirt...

Great little coffee shop, has a unique character. The decor is very cute. Their regular coffee has a very light taste. Their soy latte are average. But they have some very unique tea selections. Service level differs by person. But if you just want a place to have a cup is coffee/tea or latte with your book, this is the place to be.
