Small pub but big beer garden at the front with lots of tables. Friendly service
Used to come to the Westbury Park Pub most weeks for a meal. We came back again for the first time in over a year and were so so disappointed. The quality of the food has gone downhill significantly. We had a veggie burger where the halloumi had been so over cooked it was rock hard and a normal “Westbury Park Burger” which was very very dry. All of the additional touches they used to add to the food to make it feel special have been stripped away. It seems like they don’t have a chef anymore just a cook who chucks pre-bought items into a fryer. We will still go to the pub for a drink but will not eat there again. Such a shame.

To add to my comment in response to the owner... during and after our meal no member of staff checked with us to ask how our food was, neither did the server who cleared the plates as we were leaving after our meal. We ate with you on Thursday 20 June at one of the outside booths...

The cauliflower wings and peach and mozzarella salad were 10/10. Staff super welcoming & friendly - would recommend!
Great little place with a good range of keg and cask beers. Local feel but welcoming for everyone.

Absolutely shockingly bad!!! Waited at our table to order, in the end went to the bar and tried to attract the attention of one of the 5 gormless staff who were talking amongst themselves, waited 45 minutes for starters listening to the toilet door and door to outside area banging constantly. Starter finally came - burnt king prawns, stale focaccia and overcooked cold whitebait, one minute into our starter the mains came???? We were told we had to have it now or it would go cold in the kitchen. Burger was tiny, burnt and rock hard, we declined to eat any of it, I paid for our drinks and we left vowing never to return again - don’t go!!!!

Our bus driver Mike circled a day off in Bristol and told us we were going to head to one of the best pubs we've ever been to. Bold statement - and The Mouse delivered!

A group of 8 or 9 of us rolled in right around dinner time and our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. The chili with chips was some of the best comfort food I've ever had, and everyone else raved about their selections. Amazing home-cooked food and great beer selections. The staff were so welcoming and kind to us, I can't wait to head back. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try.

Not wheelchair friendly, nor pram friendly if that's the case. In our case staff were rude and should react better to customers requesting assistance with access. Wheelchair access is more often than not locked, and if you can get in there is tables and chairs in the way. Poor from a community business. Needs to do better.

Always good pub food and Elaine and Billy are wonderful hosts. Family love it too! Especially our grandson, who gets thoroughly spoilt by Elaine!
My husband and I had dinner today. We ordered Lamb chop and Beef Burger. I had two severe disappointments -

1) The lamb chop looked pink/red and when I used knife it looked oozing reddish liquid.
I had a chat with waitress and she was kind and offered me to get it checked with the cook. The food was improved and served to me again.
As a compensation the server said the dessert is on them as we were unhappy at first instance.
At the end of the meal, we decided to not have dessert.
We went to the counter and thanked the waitress for her thoughts and we walked out.

2) Sadly, the waitress ran to us after 5 minutes we crossed the road and we're standing at bus stop, she was checking if we have paid. And insisted on seeing the payment made.
I absolutely understand it's the responsibility of the person to do it.

But there was no thought given to check on there system before approaching a customer. It was embarrassing for us both to be followed, approached and questioned in this manner.

It's sad how we are made to feel.
Lots of seating areas and I particularly liked the outdoor booths. Inside looked worn and tired, perhaps it's just a pub norm to look that way give the amount of traffic. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
The fish and chips are a must!
Thankfully, no pets or screaming children
Drinks are good with average food yet it’s a resounding NO / AVOID from me due to the consistently poor service / hostile environment (Sunday evenings in particular). Odd given that this is an operator with multiple successful
businesses in and around Bristol. Maybe it’s just a few bad apples ?
Cosy and quirky. Friendly atmosphere and always lots of new drinks to try.
Is a great pub, does food, but fantastic pub
Difficult to award the stars, because I was visiting my student son and we needed food on a Sunday evening, and this was open. They only do pizza ... but we really enjoyed them. Loads of space with small and big tables, very warm atmosphere and family oriented. We saw a group of mums with their children. All downstairs and almost opposite the local cinema.
This is a great pub/restaurant we went here for Sunday dinner and it was outstanding ....service atmosphere was all fantastic staff are really nice and friendly.....unfortunately like many of the establishments in and around the area they seem to think everyone like eating with other people's pet's.....I don't hence the 2 star review
Rugby played here to, home made food owners are amazing, dog friendly too!
Lovely food and dessert… nice atmosphere too

I've been here a couple of times over the past few years. Overall it is a really pleasant experience. Friendly atmosphere, staff are polite and attentive, and there is a lovely outdoor area with a pizza oven. It's quite picturesque.

It has a relatively small menu, but in my experience that's a positive thing. They're more focused on the quality of the dish. The bigger the menu, generally, the more rushed the final product is. In this particular visit I ordered the fish and chips. What is seemingly a basic choice, it was delicious. If you're unsure of the more out there choices on the menu, this is a fantastic safe option for fussy eaters.

The overall atmosphere is casual but classy. The menu and prices reflect somewhat of a place thats a bit more on the fancy side. I do think the prices are a little steep for what it is to where I wouldn't return on a regular basis, however for every now and then as a treat, I would recommend visiting.

Cosy little pub, super friendly staff (owner makes a proper cuppa) great traditional pub food. Ham, egg, chips and peas done properly. Best bit is the garden area. Great view and plenty of nice plants, perfect summer beer garden. Nice to see some some good beers on tap like butcombe.

As always great atmosphere, great landlord , brilliant food cooked by the wonderful Darlene and a great selection of real ales. Dog friendly village pub with secret garden , its a must go to place in Westbury on Trym
Excellent little micropub at the Page Park end of Staple Hill. Calm and quiet with an excellent array of ales and ciders. Perfect for a quiet pint on your own or with a small group of friends.

Went for lunch 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids)

The pub is really nice. Bar staff are friendly.

The pizza is bordering god tier good. The dough, the bake is perfection. Perhaps a tiny more mozzarella and oregano and we're there.

My wife had the chicken wrap and as you can see well constructed and she confirmed was super tasty.

I had the lamb burger and it was delicious and different enough from a standard beef burger.

Chips were great. Could not stop eating them!

Really cost little pub, staff/owners are very friendly and welcoming. They serve food at lunch and tea hours. We went at a time they didn't serve food to watch the football and they were nice enough to let us go grab a hot sandwich and eat it with a pint.
Good selection of beers, worth checking out if your in the area.

Fabulously fake Tudor building on a 1950' scale. A purpose built pub decorated with taste and filled with locals. Good atmosphere and beers.
First time I've visited here and was really impressed with how lovely it was.
We had cake and coffees, which were excellent. Our furry friend was well catered for. It's nice to have a place in the high street that encourages dogs and makes them so welcome.

Delicious food at affordable prices, served by really friendly and accommodating staff. The pub building itself is pretty small, but there's a great garden with lovely views over Blaise. Definitely recommended!

Great food and atmosphere. It has a real pub feel. Would highly recommend 👌
A cosy and classic pub. Very large inside and plenty of seating outside. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Good social distancing measures in place. Very clean and tidy. Tables well spaced out. A quiet pub, which is nice to have a quiet chat, with not having to struggle to talk over loud music.
Decor inside is nice.
Will definitely visit again.

Authentic traditional pub just on the outskirts of Westbury on Trimm. We had Sunday lunch with genuine home cooked vegetables, a good cut of beef. Lunch for 5 including 3 adults, soft drinks and 2 glasses of wine came to £87 which seemed about right. Pleasant outside seating area for the summer with a great view.

Two different sports on the two TVs but not oppressively large or noisy so suits non sports lovers too.

Only downsides today were no parking and no cauliflower cheese!
Great selection of beers, an always changing menu, friendly service and a great atmosphere, a welcome change from the dank hovels in the area. Dog friendly is a huge bonus dropping in after walkies.

Just had a quick pint in here. Really nice traditional pub feel and very welcoming. The staff were friendly and our drinks enjoyable. They had a few ales on tap though a couple had run out. They had Stowford Press and Thatchers Gold ciders. Food is served till 9.
Good choice of decent beer. Owner and staff are friendly and the place has a nice and relaxed vibe. Far better than the usual pub experience. They do beer, cider, wine and gin. The prices are reasonable too, soft drinks are only £1 which is unusual these days. Def go back.
