Gross and dirty atmosphere, and I got food poisoning from the finger corn dog on the Caesar.

The drink does not taste good at all.

Happy hour used to be better here. I ordered the Caesar salad and was shocked at the tiny portion size of one small scoop of salad. My poutine was smaller than the regular size, according to the waitress, so I feel as though the menu is deceptive.

There were also flies buzzing around our table, which was a turnoff.

Staff are friendly as they always have been.

Won't be back.

Place has gone way down hill. Pretty sure the bartender was on drugs. He was pleasant though. The DJ was too stuck up and rude to even acknowledge me when I tired to ask him a question - in an empty bar, no less. Used to love this place. Shame.

Food was great , we tried the giant ceasers with essentially a platter on them. Could easily feed 3 people with one. All the food tasted good and wasn't greasy to too fried. Atmosphere was great for watching the Canucks and Oilers playoff game
Full disclosure I have not eaten here but they have a wide selection of beers on tap and make very nice cocktails. The atmosphere is great! Pool tables and little arcade machines to enjoy. Big tables and comfy chairs. A great spot whether you're looking to get some work done alone, or have a big party of rowdy folks!

It’s a sports bar. A hockey playoff game was on and everyone cheered when the team scored. We went for the happy hour deals. The burger was good but not huge. Ribs ok. Poutine fine.
Wouldn’t come again or recommend. Waited 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order and another 20 minutes for our drinks. We then ordered pizza which we didn’t think tasted right and had chunks of fat as toppings. The guanciale was not cooked properly it was tough and fatty and inedible. Server was not attentive and never quality checked our food, as we didn’t like our pizza and wanted to send it back as it didn’t taste right or worth the price. We then ordered a side of sausage for the pizza topping to replace the fat originally placed on our pizza. The server just dropped it off without explaining it would come cold and we had to spread it, as we thought it looked off and was raw. Server rarely checked on us overall and food quality was poor.

Great atmosphere and DJ. Spent hundreds of dollars here, in one night between a few guys, no thanks to the waitress though. She never came around, so we went up to her at the till and she basically told us to F off. We decided to just order from the bar and go back to our seats. We still tipped her well for what we were able to order from her in the beginning, hope it splits with the bartender. We've been here a few times and honestly, we never felt welcomed unless it was completely dead. But hey, if you're Caucasian, you'll be served with top priority. 5 star for everything, if I was Caucasian.

I was there with one of my friends , we had 3 beers and 2 shots of vodka and a fish and chips and totally we paid 70$ , the fish and chips wasn’t worth it as it was only two super small fishes and it costs like 23$ (not sure) which is too much for that portion but the beverages were pretty good, lady who served us was so nice and polite and of course super friendly as well as the atmosphere was nice too but it was super quiet that night

The service received a rating of 1.5 to 2.0 out of 5, but the restaurant atmosphere was quite pleasant and enjoyable. I hope the servers will be more relaxed and friendly next time. I couldn’t even inquire about my receipt properly this time. Despite still leaving a tip, I’m unsure if it was worth it, to be honest. I don’t plan on returning to the restaurant.

I ordered a house wine during happy hour for $5, but it was just a cheap wine you could find at any liquor store. However, I did enjoy the Greek salad with the added chicken protein, but this incurred an extra cost of $5.

We came here on a whim after our original plan to go to two parrots but they had to close early. But holy cow! It was such a pleasant surprise, the 20$ beer and burger combo was a 10/10. The fries were as crispy as a crisp summer morning and the burger was as seasoned as a freshly powdered ski hill. It was a smooth ride here. Good job Morrissey! You absolutely are doing something right.

We had a great time here on a rainy day.
We were walking around downtown and popped in for a pint.

We discovered the large amount of games and ended up staying for a few hours.

The wings were the best ones I’ve had in a long time, would come back just for those(we ended up ordering a second order).
The vibe was cool, music was good and not too too loud so you could still have a conversation.

Service was pretty good - if you were in a rush it may have not been ideal but we were playing cards and chatting so it was the right speed for us.

Menu prices were reasonable.

Will definitely come back and would recommend to others for a chill afternoon.

This is the go to bar on the Granville strip, head and shoulders above everything else. The decor, music, and lighting create an intimate atmosphere that is ideal for a weekday after work beer or a weekend party with a bunch of friends (the long table in the back is great for big groups).

Staff are attentive, friendly, and personable. If you go more than once they'll likely remember your name and what you like to drink and what life problems you have. Bartender is very knowledgeable and taps run the best beers in town.

Food is excellent and surprisingly cheap. Most pubs have the same garbage defrosted wings that aren't actually hot, but here they are meaty and spicy and they have a very cheap wing night. The happy hour, with drink prices that are competitive with the cheapest bars in town, is 4 to 8 pm which is I think unprecedented. I'd give it more stars if I could.

My favourite bar in the city hands down. The vibe and ambiance is immaculate, especially for being on Granville St. Super cool and cozy space with cute little tables for a perfect date night or larger ones for a big party. I’ve been here for both and it was the perfect setting.
But the real draw here is the delicious cocktails and the incredible staff. Meghan the main bartender here makes legit the most delicious Manhattan I’ve ever had and in the colder months they had this mulled cider that was like a warm hug. She’s also hilarious and super cool and always remembers me when I’m in. Rest of staff is super nice and welcoming as well, honestly feels like a big family. Never had a bad night here, 10/10 would recommend.

There too often, so I must love it. It’s one of the only places in Vancouver that feels like an actual pub but you get the added benefit of pool, darts, dancing (weekend evenings), and meeting new people. And it’s not a club. Win win win. I always recommend people check it out!
Very delicious pasta, I tried the wild boar pappardelle and it was so unique, flavorful, lots of meat and pasta cooked to perfection. The service was super nice, welcoming and friendly!! Such a lovely place overall , will definitely be back!
PS. Dog-friendly patio is also a nice bonus for dog-owners

Came up for a Friday night birthday party. Got there at 7:30 and it was perfectly full. They had a great game of bingo going on and the music was on point for me. I can't remember our server's name for the life of me but she was absolutely fantastic! Couldn't believe it was only her first night.

Normally I really enjoy Portside but last night was awful. We went outside for fresh air at around 11:15 and when we showed our stamps to get back inside they told us we had to wait in line but it would “move quickly”. We waited about 20 mins and the line did not move. We decided it was not worth it and had to get the security to get our coats then we ordered an Uber. 20 mins later when our Uber got there our friends were still waiting in the line to get back in. To wait 40 mins to get back into a place I already paid cover for is unacceptable and I’ve never experienced that anywhere else. Definitely won’t be returning and I wish I asked for my money back

Almost a 5 primarily due to the food and drinks being excellent. However service was slow and unfriendly. The only time our server came by our table, it was rushed and we felt like we’re were troubling them. Had to wave them down several times to order more items. Highlight was how I was Blown away with how great my Benedict was. The ceaser options were great and then eventually let us order off the lunch menu which had a lot of great options.

Double charged us for our tab. Waitress tried to blame it on us by saying we should’ve paid up with her. I mentioned we didn’t see her at all the latter half of our night. Bartender/manager was nicer (still not nearly the best) and got us our refund but still, service wasn’t very pleasant at all. Very disappointed as this was a regular place for us.
I had the pleasure of indulging in an exquisite Italian dining experience at this charming restaurant. The pizza was a masterpiece, featuring a thin, crispy crust topped with fresh ingredients bursting with flavor. The perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings showcased the chef's skill and dedication to authenticity. The tiramisu, a heavenly finale, was a luscious blend of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone, creating a symphony of rich flavors. The cozy ambiance and attentive service added to the overall enjoyment. For those seeking a taste of Italy, this restaurant effortlessly delivers a culinary journey that lingers in your memory. Buonissimo!

Came here with some friends and while on the waitlist I got a paper-cut and I knew they’d have some blue bandaids in the back cause I’m a server so I went to the pass and the guys in the back were so helpful and got me a bandaid and finger condom. Thanks guys!
I ordered the Cajun Chicken Burger and had major regrets as it was so soggy that it completely fell apart but I was thankful for the finger condom as it kept my paper cut free of sauce.

A group of us went for the Superbowl last night and had a great night! Megan (not sure of correct spelling sorry lol), was our server and she was the best! So fast with making sure we all had drinks, right there as soon as we needed something, and told us about the auto gratuity because of the size of our group. The bartender was also amazing 👏 Thanks guys for a great night and tasty food!

Kinda boring, dim and lacking character. Cheap drinks, but where do you hire your bartenders? An old fashioned IS NOT made with Southern comfort. The wings could have more flavour. This place is soooo loud and u can't even hear the music. Our server was lovely. She should work somewhere better than this dump.

Came in for brunch on Sunday. Amazing prices, feels like brunch prices you would see 5 years ago. Food was perfect as well.

I missed our server/bartenders's name but he was awesome. Very funny and great service.

I went on a wet Wednesday winter night, it was quiet. The burger was good, the battered fries are ok. Atmosphere is dark, with mostly 90s alternative music, no distracting TVs.
Chicken wing really sucks.
Toilet always baaaaad.
Service, not bad, especially, the lady, lysh or Leash, or Lish is supper.

Great time had by our entire group on Saturday night once we passed the front doors. This is the biggest downfall of this place is the bouncers that are outside. We were on guest list and still waited 45 mins to an hour while the main bouncer would take cash from others wanting to skip the line. Not saying l never pull stuff like this but getting to see this while we waited in the guest list line was not cool. Also was informed that 2 of my friends went outside for a quick smoke break and were told to wait in the guest list line after already receiving stamps and having coat check stickers. Once again Great time had once we were inside but holy smokes the bouncers outside make it tough to wanna wait and not just go somewhere else
I went here for dine out and was excited to try the food here, service was slower than I’d expect but not a big deal, the carpaccio and pizza was really good! Only thing that ruined the meal was the “cheesecake” for dessert. It’s not a cheesecake, it’s a bowl of cream cheese yogurt with the compote on top and a sprinkle of lavender.. I tried it and couldn’t have a full bite. Definitely felt misled with that dish and super disappointed they would serve that as “cheesecake”

Great place to meet others, listen to great live music and DJs as well as play pool. The employees here have been tremendously welcoming and I've always felt comfortable here. Definitely for the later nightlife more tuned to a younger crowd, but there are still nights where millennials and older can come and have fun like their karaoke night. It's also situated near a bunch of other great venues so as long as you have a stamp you can crawl gastown and have a fun experience.

It is by far my favorite place to go to and I'm incredibly picky.
My first time eating here with family. The drinks and the food were really tasty! I highly recommend the BBQ Rice Bowl! Will definitely return.

I have been looking for a place where there is live Rock music for a long time and I always see this pub, I had never been and yesterday was my first time. I had an incredible time, I highly recommend the classic Mojitos, the beer at its peak and the extraordinary wings. It is worth mentioning that the waiter Andres treated us wonderfully and recommended just what we needed. Very happy to have shared another experience....Thank you
I ordered the burrata and prosciutto, truffle mushroom pizza, boar parpadelle, and carbonara. The pizza was lacking flavor, and the bottom of the pizza was burnt. Pastas were solid but personally felt like carbonara sauce was curdled. The crostinis served with the burrata were rock hard and cold. The food was quite underwhelming.

I was approached randomly last night by the manager of this bar in an extremely passive agressive manner, to be told by him that he had no reason but that he doesnt like me & that I've been staring at him which was making him uncomfortable and thinking he was doing something wrong. All of which was complete nonsense. To be approached in this fashion by the manager of any establishment who appears to be in an altered state of reality is unacceptable. You owe your customers a duty of care & level of service far beyond this. I don't need your paranoia. I just drank water & played darts quietly all evening, minding my own business.
Busy place, engaging friendly staff, warm comfortable ambiance, good selection of dishes, fast delivery on our meals, and reasonably priced. The bar menu is limited, but there are plenty of Italian style cocktails to try, like the espresso Martini👍 The pasta, especially the wild boar pappardelle, was very good and cooked to "al dente" perfection.
We ordered the dill pickle spiced wings. Definately needed more seasoning. Our waitress was polite. But she didn't ask if our food was ok. It was Friday and got busy. So understandable.
The bartender Hayden and the GM Jeremy took care of us and the service was incredible, it really enhanced our experience!

The baggio sour was delicious and the texture from the egg white took it up a notch. The pomodoro was super flavourful and the meatballs were cooked perfectly. The truffle pizza is our go-to and once again did not disappoint, one of the best mushroom pizzas in Vancouver for sure.

We also ordered the bruschetta, and the first time we had it (in the summer), it was amazing and the pieces of bread were a good size and the tomatoes were diced finely for easy scooping. Unfortunately we weren’t a fan of the bruschetta this time because the tomatoes weren’t cut at all and the pieces of bread were way too small to pick them up.

Overall though, with the atmosphere, the great service, the delicious drinks, and the super flavourful pizza and pasta, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back! :)
Local hub, servers/ bartenders are great. Good deejay playing heavy rock n' role, food is decent. A neighbourhood staple.
The burger was surprisingly really delicious. The pasta tasted fresh and had a nice texture to it. Unfortunately there was something I found in the gelato but when I showed it to the waiter, he was very understanding and even took it off the bill after apologizing. Great vibes and food here- would come again.

Omg, it was an amazing.
I went there when it was pandemic, I tried the burger that wasn’t bad.
Tonight my friend and I hangout there for drinking and dinner.
I really didn’t expect that quality of everything I tried there😅
The customer service was perfect;decoration, vibes, atmosphere were beyond the awesome.
Nice atmosphere!
Great place to have a large group of people.
Friendly and fun.
Can be noisy when busy.
Great service.
We had the potato wedges, sooooo good! And the blackened chicken with the snappeas (photo only shows have portion as.we.asked.tge kitchen to split it in 2, which was nice that they did it) also very good!
Will have it again!
Just a simple pub. There's a variety of beers on tap, but not great ones. Well priced though. Interior is old and basic. It's a nice place to hang out a bit.

Never a great crowd comparatively. The bar staff are not in sync with their own website either.

How is it that the website says 20 oz Steamworks beers are $6 (+ tax) on Sundays but the last 2 times I came they charge $8.05 for them?

At least update your website if you are jacking up the price arbitrarily
I ordered the BROOKLYN BURGER with Sweet potato fries, and it was delicious. Although, every time I sit on the patio, I thoroughly enjoy the Gastown night vibes. I rarely visit this restaurant because it's not pet-free, even for emotional support dogs. 😔

It's ok, but definitely not for conservative people. Music is too loud. I think the bra on the wall is really silly to be honest (but I am sure some people find it funny and amusing) small place and too dark for me

Food was good though and decently priced though, but I think I will give this place as a pass as the atmosphere is not really my thing.....but if you are into the rock n roll thing, then this place will do
Overall a decent place to chill. One of my only complaints was the music was quite loud so it was hard to have a proper conversation with my friend. Other than that I'd say you should definitely visit.

Was in town for business and attended here twice. Must say the wings are amazing and also "the burger " combo was awesome. The service was wonderful, never got the girls name that served us but Andres was a great guy and very happy to talk too. If in Vancouver you won't be disappointed eating here and it's so close to the waterfront for AMAZING sunsets.

Thank you for great meals and a great couple nights.
Stumbled on this place by complete chance, which was good as I love the music they play. Food was good, service was good, overall really enjoyed it. My Mrs not so much! We both enjoyed the cocktails though.
First time visiting beautiful Vancouver and we had to stop by Stanley Park. It's such a big park we worked up an appetite and came upon this brewery and restaurant! We had halibut fish and chips with two of their beers. Great food and beer, service and atmosphere. So happy we went. Greetings from Las Vegas and the Netherlands!
Over in Vancouver from the UK to see Iron Maiden on their Future Past tour.
What an amazing find this place is.
Food is good and beer is well priced.

It's really amazing that a pub restaurant in one of the iconic corners of this city can feel so authentically Vancouver after all these years. As a young man I always said that the Bayside Lounge (next door) was my favourite place in the city. Back then, the Park Pub was known as Checkers and was more of a traditional standing room pub than the restaurant that it is today. Recently I found out that the Bayside Lounge is operated by The Sands Hotel which also operates the Park Pub and they share the same kitchen so since then I have been coming here and really owe this establishment a positive review.

The newly renovated interior and restaurant atmosphere plus menu, kitchen and service staff are casual, friendly and attentive without pretence. As far as value goes, for what you get here, you won't believe these prices exist Downtown! Come Find out!

Came here on Aug 22 around 9:30pm. The restaurant was almost empty. The 2 gentlemen working spotted us and made eye contact but refused to serve us. Maybe it’s because we’re Asian and they don’t want our kind in their pub. Management or owners should view the video. Video does not lie. Won’t come back here until the kind female staff are working in the evening.
We ate at Noon on a Friday in September and it was just starting to get busy. They have a large outdoor eating area and the service was quick. The wife got fish tacos with an upgrade from fries to onion rings. The rings were hot and crispy and made with rings (not minced!). I got the Diablo burger which is a deluxe burger with hot sauce and pickled jalapeño peppers. I really liked the flavor and gentle heat. The French fries were shoestring style and crispy outside but still tender inside. A great meal with lots of “people watching”
We had garlic fries, chowder and pork gyoza. All the food was good, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was lovely with a view of Stanley park. So yeah, 5 stars without any issue. Happy hour is 3-6pm, Mon - Fri.
Finally a decent metal/rock bar. Complete with Eddie from Maiden on the walls. Nice selection of over the shoulder boulder holders above to the bar as well.. nice people, great atmosphere. Recommended

I've been looking for a good sports pub. This place is amazing, the food is really good, the staff is very friendly and approachable, and the vibe is different from any other pubs I have been to, everyone is cheering and enjoying the game. The pub has some activities during the game and screens everywhere, which makes it easy to watch the game. I will definitely come back to watch more NFL games.
Although I was only visiting the pub while waiting for the yoga studio to open up for my class. I Always wait in Juniors pub when the studio isn't open. The wait staff are so kind and have no problem having an older person taking up a seat. I don't drink and I have always felt safe and respected in the pub. The dinner specials are amazing. Best place for a Birthday celebration or just hanging out with friends. Being an older woman I know I can feel safe in this pub. They have really good music as well.
Perfect location. It was busy but it was expected as it was a beautiful day out. Had a flight and nachos which was a great snack after a seawall walk with the dogs. Oh ya dog friendly restaurant always a bonus.
Great atmosphere, food is tasty! Played pool, shot some skee ball, listened to some rad tunes, all-in-all.. great chill time!
Great place with nice outdoors right in the middle of Stanley park. Perfect location to enjoy a large selection of beers and generous/tasty food. The place is so cool that we came twice while in Vancouver !

Dj was cool and playing good music, the main bartender was also really nice. Our waitress didnt greet us until 10 mins in, after i had already walked up to the bartender and ordered a drink. Our drink came 20 mins after ordering but we do understand the bartender was backed up. The waitress rolled her eyes at us when we didnt tip on a $31 bill for 2 drinks. Giving 2 stars because of the atmosphere and music.
What a great place. A delicious beer and food oasis in the park. The prices were reasonable and everything was very well prepared. Service was friendly and attentive. The pretzel bites were hands down the best I’ve ever had at any brewery in the states. And I’ve never reviewed restrooms before but the sign is all inclusive and there is a bunch of individual restrooms with sinks and everything. Brilliant

Great food, had the Cajun Chicken Burger with sweet potato fries, and it was mouth watering delicious! Tasty drinks and top-notch service! Excellent music that paired well with the dark and cozy atmosphere. It's worth checking out if you're in the area!
This place gets busy during lunch and dinner in the summer and it’s one of my go to lunch spots during work. It’s a laidback environment with a large patio in the middle of Gastown - but hurry because the shaded spots get taken quick.

The food here is solid and consistent. We know what we are getting each time we order, a few of my favourites are the dumplings, the fried chicken ramen, as well as the fish taco. Similar style to Cactus Club in food and drinks.

They feature a rotating tap menu which gets confusing sometimes because you could be more interested in what’s coming up, but I guess that’s how they keep you coming.

Definitely a cool spot to hangout in the summer. I do find that service and food comes faster when you’re seated indoors, so if you don’t get a patio spot, there’s pros to being inside.
I had an absolutely brilliant experience at The Local public Eatery in Gas Town, and I'm thrilled to share my review. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the host, and I didn't have to wait at all for a table. The atmosphere was vibrant and positively charged, setting the perfect tone for a fantastic evening.
Our server, Jessie, was truly amazing. She was not only friendly and kind, but she also made sure to check in on us regularly without any pressure. Her attentive and genuine approach enhanced our dining experience. We decided to start with some delicious cocktails, which were expertly crafted and thoroughly enjoyed. Alongside our drinks, we ordered share plates of mouthwatering nachos and flavorful chicken wings. The food exceeded our expectations, and each bite was a delightful treat.

The entire time spent at The Local was filled with joy and laughter. I had the pleasure of meeting up with an amazing friend, and we had an absolute blast. The overall vibe of the place was incredibly positive, and it was evident that there were many good-hearted people around us. It created an atmosphere where you couldn't help but feel the energy and happiness in the air.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Local public Eatery to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit because this place left a lasting impression on me. I want to extend my sincere gratitude and kudos to Jessie, our server, who truly understood the assignment. She was fun, easy to work with, and made our time at The Local even more memorable. Thank you, Jessie, for going above and beyond to make our evening truly special. You are definitely a keeper!

In conclusion, The Local public Eatery in Gas Town is a must-visit establishment. With its warm welcome, vibrant atmosphere, delectable food, and exceptional service, it guarantees an unforgettable time. Don't miss out on this gem—I certainly won't!
3-star for the food, 6-star for the service. The steak was basically a piece of charcoal as u can see from the picture. The halibut of my fish and chips was tasteless and overcooked.

Service was really good though, staff were super friendly. But really the food need some improvement to convince me going back.
We've been in Canada for a few weeks now and this is the best burger that can be made gluten friendly that I have had yet. The bun was beautifully soft and had a crunchy top. The burger itself was perfection. Highly recommended.
Located in the heart of Gastown, this restaurant is a local favorite for post-work chill sessions. The vibrant vibe and expansive patio create a relaxing atmosphere. Don't miss their sour gastwon and spicy martinis, delicious poke bowl, and flavorful chicken curry. It's the go-to spot for a memorable dining experience in Gastown.
A decent place to stop by after a Seawall bike ride.

The burgers were delicious especially the spicy chicken. I found the fish tacos to be a little dry and had no flavor. The pretzel bites and potato onion bites were very greasy, but still tasty.

Our food took a very long time to arrive. The service was friendly, but not very attentive.
This bar has cool rock and metal oriented decorations and music and a laid back vibe. Don’t expect anything fancy, the space is quite small and the food options are limited. The good thing is prices are reasonable for what you get. The staff are nice and friendly, I left my purse in the bar and they kept it safe until I was back.

This place is awesome! Great vibes and good place to get some drinks and unwind after a long work week.

Food is also decent and fairly inexpensive for Vancouver pub style food. Service was also great and the atmosphere here was perfect for a quick hangout since it wasn’t as loud compared to other places.

Definitely coming back here again for more drinks! 🍻

I had an amazing time! The live music was fantastic and really added to the great vibe of the place. I couldn't help but tap my feet and dance along to the music.

The food was also delicious - the nachos were amazing, the flatbread was good and the cheese board was tasty. The overall atmosphere of the pub was just right, it had a really good vibe.

Overall, I would highly recommend Portside Pub to anyone looking for a fun night out with great live music and delicious food. The nachos were especially outstanding, but the flatbread and cheese board were also really good. The atmosphere is just right, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a great time.

Been wanting to try this place since moving to Van, place is smaller than expected, but the laid back feel of a neighbourhood pub is amazing, definitely hard to come by in downtown Van, little slice of home I guess
To give you a better impression of what to expect; cook was out front at the bar area playing nerf gun with a couple of the customers :D

Taste 1/1*
Ordered the bacon cheese burger, juicy, well balanced, and plenty of lettuce, one of the best pub burgers I’ve had
Onion rings were nicely seasoned and crispy

Value 0.5/1*
Decently priced menu, though having no happy hour was a little bit of a let down, especially when everywhere else has $4 beer for HH, and they had their in-house ar $5.50
For the $2 onion ring upgrade, 10 onion rings feel a bit skimpy

Service 1/1*
Standard neighbourhood pub style, quick, on point, and friendly

Cleanliness 1/1*
Aside from the normal wear and tear on the seating and table, I’d say it’s above average when it comes to cleanliness of a pub

Overall/Revisit 1/1*
Would definitely revisit whenever I’m homesick, or just feeling like having a good burger

Paying for Reno? 0/-1*
No
Above and beyond? 0/+1*
No
This is a fantastic spot to gather with friends and family and enjoy an exceptional dining experience. The service was outstanding, and the best onion rings in town were served alongside a delicious roast pork stack, while the Thai noodle salad was packed with flavor. The combination of the patio and the neighborhood made for a lovely evening bite.

The food was delicious, the service was quite prompt, and the staff were all friendly. The only minor issue was that our appetizers and main courses were served all at once, despite our request for them to be served sequentially. Other than that, everything was top-notch, and the drinks were delicious as well. However, I personally prefer fewer ice cubes in my drink than what was shown in the picture.

This is a lovely restaurant that has large screens for watching sports games, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It's located at the corner of Gastown, making it easy to find, and the waitstaff are friendly while the food is superb. I highly recommend trying their Nachos!

Standard pub food for a Saturday night. I had the Mac and cheese. It was okay, wish it was a bit more salty and flavory. My boyfriend had the burger and fries, which he enjoyed. Overall pricey for their relatively smaller portion sizes. The shareable nachos were huge, and probably my favourite part of the night.

The drinks were expensive for what we received. Perhaps coming during Happy Hour would be more worthwhile.

The customer service was amazing! It started picking up as the night went on, and the waitress was a gem. She constantly and consistently checked up on us, even with more customers. She was fast and friendly!

Standard pub food and drinks, nothing outstanding nor disappointing.

Tried almost all the items on HH menu, $6 for 6pc of wings, $6 for a burger only patty and lettuce $8 for 4pc of prawn, nothing crazy but food were all average. Best item was probably the one server recommended, the pork soft shell taco, $6 for 2pc

Best part of the place was probably watching how great the server was at her job (forgot to grab her name), there were 12 tables at one point, all tables were attended to seamlessly, all while coming across as though she is simply walking around with zero rush, just amazing!
Great energy. Good service .
Food was delicious
Tacos and nachos, delicious cocktails.
Old school hip hop and some Latin music

They changed their menu and the food here is really decent for bar food. It is stuff that compliments the drinks very well and I would definitely recommend the bulgogi chicken sliders, everything was very flavourful and tasty. The live music that they play on weekends is nice too, I like how there is a top and bottom floor, plus the pool table.

I went here as part of a conference event. So we only took up the 2nd floor. We didn't use the 1st floor so this review isn't really 100% accurate lol.

The 2nd floor was quite private and we were hidden from the 1st floor sight though we could see them. It was nice.

The only thing is that it's too dark! I couldn't see anyone or anything. Heck, I couldn't even see my food LOL.

The staff there were amazing. Dave the bartender was so nice and even gave a complimentary drink when he knew it was my 1st time drinking.

The other staff were amazing. They looked stressed, especially that one guy clearing the tables and giving food. But they were all very polite.

The food was very good. They had mac and cheese, sliders, falafel?, Pizza, and some french looking appetizers. It was pretty salty but nonetheless good. They even had food warmers which was a nice touch.

The washrooms were cool, and had a brewery/dock kind of theme. Very artistic!

This place was busy on a Friday night but I didn't wait long to get in. The people here were so friendly and our server was nice. The place has some good vibes. They got some board games here and a couple of TVs to watch some sports. The drinks were good. I ordered a Caesar with burger and onions on it. The nachos were very good and the portion was big considered this is a small size. This is a gay-friendly bar and so expect the washroom to be communal. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great pub! Daytime windows let in a lot of light, night time is a fun time and great place to grab drinks with a big or small crowd. Came here while waiting for a speakeasy in the area and service was fantastic. Recommend the espresso martini!
Very friendly and casual bar, with killer side dish. The bar has a character, and their friendly attitude compensate for everything. It is a great place for a drink in a hot summer day.
Good hygiene, well spaced tables, friendly staff, good food, decent beer on tap, and got to watch UFC. It was a good night. :)

The Dime is owned by the same company that owns The Warehouse. All food is $5.95 so if you're a uni student or just looking to save money this is your place.

Servings aren't huge but at the cost you can get an appetizer and meal and not feel guilty about it.
Food quality is top notch and liquor prices are on par with other establishments in the area.
Draws a younger crowd especially after 8pm
Less busy than its sibling (The Warehouse) that's farther up the road.
