Great flavoursome food at an affordable price. Had the Cod with Prawn Rissotto as well as a selection of starters. Food was flavoursome and good portion sizes for the cost.

Food was on the tad bit salty for my liking, especially the main course, a bit less salt wouldve scored the dish 5* for me.

Overall, great place for a work lunch or dinner.

Absolutely loved our Sunday evening dinner here with a group of friends. Our waitress Helen was fabulous. The whole team were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and we will definately be back. Great value for money too. Do take cash for tipping though!!!

This place is historic, the decor is amazing, so much to learn just looking at the paintings and drawings in its walls. The view is really nice. It's family friendly in the dining room. The food is really good, the chips are delicious, crispy and flavorful.

I live locally but haven't been for years. Went on the weekend and realised why all my friends avoid it. Staff are just poor, the staff member told me to tap but wouldn't show me how much he had charged and got our order wrong, food bland and vibe is just terrible. Plenty of nicer pubs nearby which serve better and nicer food.

A place that is full of history and character, well maintained and in keeping with the original interior design of this tavern.

This place is beautifully located on the Thames in Greenwich village.

It's a bustling, vibrant and friendly spot, food is your traditional pub fayre, nothing special and nothing bad, the Sunday menu was pretty limited, so ensure there is something on there that caters to your taste.

I would say dropping by for a drink and bar snacks, it is a winner, if your looking for bueno gastro pub grub, this food didn't cut it for us.

Otherwise a great place to visit to either soak up the sun on their outdoor seating that is right on the Thames, or cosy up soaking up the history of the interior and it's great collection of Greenwich art through the centuries.

Following our memorable trip to Lisbon, we ventured to Trafalgar Tavern, a recommendation from a friend promising a delightful summer pub experience. With a visit to Ikea on our agenda, a late lunch at this riverside gem seemed like the perfect prelude to our shopping excursion.

Opting for the Sunday roast pork belly and a comforting bowl of Boston Clam Chowder soup, we savored each bite, though I couldn't help but compare the roast to that of my neighborhood pub, which I found slightly superior. Nevertheless, the dishes were undeniably tasty and satisfying.

What truly sets Trafalgar Tavern apart is its inviting atmosphere and picturesque setting. The outdoor beer garden offers a serene escape with panoramic views of the Thames River—a perfect backdrop for unwinding with friends.

In conclusion, while the food may not have surpassed all expectations, Trafalgar Tavern remains a friendly and welcoming spot to relax and enjoy the summer vibes along the riverbank.

A London gem! The most unique pub I have been to so far. Soooo much seating indoors & outdoors with a beautiful ambiance. Large quantities of food & their dishes are tasty!

Trafalgar Tavern is a delightful pub offering live music and a unique historical charm in the heart of Greenwich. While the prices are slightly above average, the cozy ambiance with a wonderful fireplace, charming outdoor seating adorned with lovely flags, and amazing decor make it a must-visit destination. The unique atmosphere and entertainment make it well worth the extra cost.

This place has a great vibe , its furniture and fittings are very nicely done. The service is fantastic as well. The only let down was that the toilet had run out of hand wash. I didn't try the food as we had just eaten but will definitely be coming back to have something to eat. The pub is in a great location just off the Greenwich park.

We got married at The Italian Greyhound in March and had the most perfect day. The downstairs basement was the perfect venue for our 25 guests, and we chose it as we wanted somewhere with a private bar for a drinks reception followed by a sit down dinner and drinks into the evening. The food was superb, all 3 courses we had, and we loved the sharing plates concept to keep things easy. The events team were very flexible to make sure the day ran how we wanted, with us choosing a couple of signature cocktails to be ready on arrival but having a fully-stocked bar to cater for any guest's drink choice. There were so many staff too we really felt so special and well looked after. Would highly recommend to any couple looking for an informal but private space for their wedding reception :)

We went on a weekday for a few drinks and some snacks. It was not too busy and the atmosphere was great. We were able to sit next to a fire and enjoy views of the water from our table. The service we received was exceptional and we all enjoyed the wide selection of beer.
One great thing about this pub is their music selection. No out of place and repetitive pop-music to ruin the pub atmosphere. Just good music.

The best pizza dough I've ever had. The right crisp, the right fluffiness and then the right chew. A bit more cheese and this would have been the best pizza of my life. The tiramisu was also on point not too sweet, just right, and the texture also amazing.

One of the top and best places in London, serving the best beer-battered fish and chips. Hands down, one of the best you will ever taste. Fantastic view of the river, wonderful decor, brilliant service, and mind-blowing food. It's an absolutely no-brainer if you are around Greenwich anytime.

Wow, the food was very terrible! £23 for the roast pork belly and it was awful. Potato’s were soggy, gravy like water, veg tasted bland and pork was a bit grey inside. Crackling was not crackling at all, just soggy and hard to swallow. The Yorkshire pudding was probably best part of the very overpriced meal. You’d expect quality for that! Chicken wings, also bad. We asked for buffalo but bbq arrived then the blue cheese dip was like it was from a kebab shop! Would definitely pop back for a pint but not food! Shame.

An excellent tavern with bar or table service available. We had the bangers and mash and the fish and chips. Both were outstanding! The staff were very attentive and made us feel welcome. It was quiet when we arrived and we got a lovely river view table. By the time we had started our beers, things began to get busy and the place was soon packed. Great atmosphere and some excellent memorabilia all over the walls. Prices were reasonable but the food was well worth what we spent!

nice pub close to greenwich park for a lunch break after visiting the line and the museum. Good atmosphere, music and food as expected (no surprise :-) tasted the sausages and the burger with some beers. In addition, nice christmas decoration at that time of the year.

Such a pretty pub with a lot of potential, but we had a very mixed experience.

Both ordered the Sunday roast. Portion sizes great with lots of veg, but the chicken was dry, potatoes rather flavourless and the gravy like water. On the other hand, my friend’s lamb roast was amazing and she said it was the best roast she’d ever had.

Service was slow and the staff seemed incredibly distracted. We had to ask for everything: to place an order, for cutlery, for napkins, for the bill. Still, a 12.5pc service charge was added at the end - “added for parties of 2 or more”.

We were also sat in an awkward place that didn’t lend for any atmosphere - sort of sat in a corridor next to the kitchen pickup area and the dog bowls. It was also deafeningly loud.

Might be inclined to give it another go on the strength of my friend’s rave reviews of the lamb, but would definitely book, and avoid the chicken.

On the server kept apologizing for being late but she was a fine. It was a nice place to sit and chill after a day of walking up the hill to see the observatory. It's Friday at the end of the trail and a perfect stopping point. The burger was good. Just a nice little respite.

Ate here for lunch on a rainy day. The table ordered the vego burger, fish burger and the chicken with waffles. The vego burger was okay. Good feedback on the fish burger. I ate the chicken with waffles. I found the chicken to be cooked perfectly however none of the elements on the dish seemed to come together. It was just missing something. The service was good and they seemed understaffed but were managing.

I’ve been living in Greenwich for more than 2 years, almost daily when I walk in the park I pass by the pub, and I never had gone for a meal there until today. I don’t know how took me so long to go here to eat. The menu is great, there are the tradicional pub food, and a whole different dishes. We got the burguer, super juicy. The lamb roast, massive portion, with gravy at the right measure. The meat was beautiful tender. And we got the chicken waffle, as good as you can think. I saw other dishes being delivered and all look very nice made and great presentation. I am sure I will be back to try other things in their menu. Also, they have a small outside garden, the tables in the street, and the indoor area has a very nice atmosphere.

Recommended by my hotel concierge; gotta be good! The menu provides quite a variety of pizzas, pastas and antipasti.

Food quality did not disappoint, only lacking some sauces. I know sauces sometimes dun do chefs justice … but was hankering after something more spicy like tabasco with the pasta.

Ambience was casual but a tad noisy for a private get together.

Otherwise quite a gem of a place.
