The Natural History Museum has three obvious strengths: free admission, the building itself, including the escalator entrance, and the dinosaurs. Otherwise, it loses badly to the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Very crowded and unbearably hot. There is a sign in one of the center halls apologizing for the unbearable conditions for visitors. They refer to the fact that the museum is in a historic building. It seemed reasonable to me, until I read that the Americans opened their museum 4 years earlier. And there are no problems with air conditioning.
But here's a moving dinosaur we haven't seen anywhere before. The building (like, it seems, almost any building in London) is marvelous both inside and outside. Well, the money saved on entrance tickets is money well earned.

The club is nice but bouncers are awful. I went there on my own and they told me it's against the policy to let me in alone. I asked why and that it didn't make sense as I'd paid for my entry ticket. They kept this up even when I asked are they pulling my leg. Then later admitted they are. I just didn't find this funny at all. Very unprofessional behaviour towards a customer.

Amazing staff, professional but personable. This place has such a great atmosphere I enjoyed my night more than the recent gigs I've been to. Digbeth is looking good too!

Great museum showing how public transport has changed throughout the years. Very informative and a great place to take children. There is a café there should you need something to eat while visiting. There are some great London Transport gifts in the gift shop but they are very expensive

There are quite a few cafes inside to grab something to eat and drink and the pricing is not too outrageous.

The food is very good and we do enjoy the dinner here. Fawaz is also very nice and friendly. A great place to have meal after visiting the British Museum. Strongly recommend!
The food is very yummy! We ordered traditional beef, lamb and wine. We do enjoy the food and atmosphere. The manager Fawaz is also very warm and is always ready to help. Sincerely recommend!
Phenomenal exhibit displays and very educational too. Recommend to plan half a day for the visit to slowly take in the sights and information. Pre-book your free entrance tickets on their website before heading over, so you get to join the “fast pass” line.

The museum is fascinating. It provides information on the history & transformation of public transport system in London from before industrial revolution era until today.

Full vegan breakfast was very tasty. A plate full of fresh local products. Perfect to start your day.

Had a great time at the free adult explorer evening, so much quieter to explore and less stressful without kids around. It's great that there's several interactive displays and a sensory room. Also that you can go on a few tubes/trains stepping back in history, and overall, the museum is great for learning for all ages of Londons history of transport. At the time, only 2 floors were open but the museum is a great location in the heart of Covent Garden.
This museum has been on my bucket list forever and finally I have made the trip here earlier this year in spring. Reserved the tickets online. There was a queue in the morning. It was still pretty quick to get in when the doors opened.

Excellent museum. We made reservations, but there was not a wait when we arrived. There is an earthquake exhibit on the top floor. It was okay, but we enjoyed the escalator ride to it more than the actual exhibit. Our favorite two exhibits were the gem stones (beautiful) and the dinosaurs. Their animatronic T-Rex was awesome. The sheer size of fossils and animal skeletons were good reminders of just how small we are in creation. Amazing!
The restaurant by itself look nice and I was offered a good table. Unfortunately fish was like that. Even I asked if it will be fine or not(

The beautiful decorations and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant from the outside drew my attention to the menu. I was very excited to see some vegan options, and on top of it, exactly what I wanted - vegan risotto. I could not believe it! It is not easy at all to find this dish as plant-based. Since it was already late, we decided to come back the following day. A very friendly waiter, Arrya, booked us a table by the window, as I had requested. I was looking forward to it. I went for the risotto with mushrooms and spinach. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was beyond my expectations. It was very delicious. I was very happy with my choice, enjoyed the atmosphere and music in the restaurant very much. Definitely a memorable experience. P.S. My husband also loved his dish. The sauce was very tasty.
Lovely place to take children, lots of other museums within walking distance all available to visit free of charge. Book ahead online to avoid queuing, especially during peak periods. Can get really warm and stuffy in summer, best to visit at other times.
We booked our tickets beforehand for our friend’s birthday party; we queued for almost an hour but, unfortunately, no one was able to get in and were all sent away because their “ticket reading machine was not working”. It’s really a shame. No warning whatsoever before we got to the door.
This is a wonderful museum and a must visit if ever you are in London. The sheer volume ans quality of items on display is astounding. From dinosaur skeletons down to small invertebrates they have it all. Lots of educational material to consume if you choose to and the food and gifts are very well priced for a museum of this type. Please note it is a little warm in areas. There are plenty of fans for comfort and lots of seating for comfort breaks
Good Turkish / Bulgarian restaurant in Walthamstow, with seating outside on the High Street. Quality food and efficient service, with three different Bulgarian beers on the menu.
Couldn't even get a booking, contacted them a week before we wanted to go. They responded once for more details then we're silent for 5 days despite the fact I sent 3 emails, only to tell me on the day they were full with no time to organise other events. This is no way to run a business based on bookings
This hotel did not disappoint. Absolutely flawless. Staff were incredible. Top class hotel. The best night sleep I've ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to book a room here again with my family.
Love this place! It’s perfect for kids as it has so much to see and do! I love how even from a young age, children can the joy this museum. The play area is great, but I really love how you can go inside trains and buses - really exciting for young ones. Definitely a must visit if you’re around Covent Garden 😌
Incredible food (spiced monkfish was out of this world!), super attentive and very friendly staff and great vibe! We had such a great time, I’ve already booked to come again for dinner with another friend next Friday!
Super cool underground club, loved the set up and atmosphere, drinks were a little weak and small for the price but that's a club for you. Definitely look at who is playing before you commit to paying the cover as they have all types of artists and that really changes the experience.
Lovely lamb moussaka and cabernet sauvignon but noisy and rushing. The server gave us the bill without being asked to. Our dinner lasted 75 minutes. If there is a time limit, it would help if they stated the rule beforehand. The loud chat of our next table wasn't the restaurant's fault but it surely affected our experience.
Its pretty expensive restaurant so dont expect to have medium priced food. The food itself was tasty. I ordered lamb shank and it was big portion and quite tasty. Other things including service and vibe were just okay. I wont go back there because of price, and if you dont care about the price, still there are better places to go.
The doorman was so welcoming and took care of me as I was still waiting for my family to come despite being tired and coming from rehearsals. Only had two issues was the small ripped bed sheets and got charge for breakfast but did get a refund back though after checking out. Good location in london though as you can do a walking distance to tourist attractions easily and access to near by shops and public transport.
Having stayed at the Waldorf many times over several years. My latest experience was simply excellent. Chosen for the location as I was going to the theatre with my daughter. The door staff are always welcoming and frankly deserve to be commended as they make the first impression. The reception staff who in the past are a little hit and miss on this occasion continued the excellent service of the door staff. We were given a choice of rooms and my daughter was given a play book with stickers and games to play. Finding items in the hotel which she loved. This led her back to the door staff who really played along which she loved. A special thanks to them for this. Our room was clean, and sufficient for our stay. The only real downsides were the bar staff. I seemed to continually have to find someone to take my order for a drink/coffee which didn’t feel that fitting for the Waldorf. Overall the experience was good, location was excellent and the door staff and reception staff excellent.
We went on a Friday afternoon, and it was super busy and I think this affected the experience. I am the sort that typically require some space and quite to ponder on the specimens and exhibitions. There was also a long queue, guessing this had to do with the fact it was a Bank Holiday weekend.

Some of the popular areas are very busy, so you have to be patient if you want to see everything. Because of the volume of visitors, it can get very hot! They added some portable fans and air conditioning units into some of the rooms, which took the edge off, but we skipped some of the really hot areas.
In between the visit we went to the cafe, which was pretty reasonably priced and had a nice lunch box for kids.

Great insight to the London public transport through the ages, some great things for all ages to do with volunteers carrying out show and tell. Cafe on site with a good variety of products available in the shop, I'll certainly be getting something to remind my Lindon born-btead dad for Christmas something to remind him of travelling on the buses, trams and underground back in his early years. On arrival we were shown to a table that was not properly laid up, no rose in a dome, no candelabra and positioned in front of the kitchen door. The staff treated us as if we were second class citizens. We had to ask for everything, teaspoons, strainers and each course. In the middle of our experience there was a staff meeting in the middle of the restaurant! Then to top it all at 4pm the staff started cleaning down, the ambiance was completely spoiled, with the clattering of the cups and the going in and out of the kitchen. One waitress dropped a tray and the cups smashed, the others walked over the broken crockery!
We have tried for 3 weeks to get in contact with different people to voice our concerns and no one contacts us back. Yesterday we were promised faithfully that the food and beverage manager would contact us, but guess what….. once again no return call was received. Customer services at its worst!

Impeccable service. Johnny brought me a cappuccino and a fresh muffin at 5am bc I was on US time and working. Rooms are clean and the staff at the front desk Anastasia and Christian were very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel. Comfy beds too.
It was fun. I like the fact that you buy annual ticket and can come back more in a year if you wish. And the annual ticket isn't expensive. Also great that children under 17 can go free and people on universal credit has discount too. Well done TfL. ❤️
Ordered prawns in butter and was given a wrong starter and asked if it was ok. The starter they gave ended up being more expensive and didn’t taste great.
Main pork knuckle and potatoes had no flavour whatsoever. Cost me 40£ for this( including cola)- assuming a service charge was added even though the starter was wrong and they charged me for the price or the starter they chose not the one I chose.
Staff seemed friendly and the place has a great atmosphere but I feel completely ripped off from that experience and confused why they would also charge for the more expensive starter

The museum was great, don't get me wrong, it was only a lot smaller than expected.
We spent a lot of time reading all the signs and features of the exhibit and still it took us only 3 hours to go through it all. If you rush it, you can do it in much less time.
Recommended? Yes (and no), this museum is recommended in combination with other activities nearby like the National Gallery and if you're interested in the subject. If not, then you may better spend your time elsewhere

What a wonderful restaurant! Everything pitch perfect, food, wine, service, ambience. Came here for a private wine tasting and we were so impressed we booked for dinner. Just delicious and complemented so well with the wine choices. Crab, tuna tartare, beef with skinny fries just delicious, and lemon verbena peach dessert so light but sweet/sharp.And of course the wines are top class. Highly recommend. Wish we had known about this restaurant earlier.
From the moment they open their doors for you, you feel special. Everyone is crazy nice and they make an effort to ask you about your day and to give you little touches of courtesy through your stay. The breakfast is pretty amazing and they have 2 bars that are super fun. If you have the time definitely do the tea service.

My room was nice enough, spacious and a friendly note left by the housekeeping team, who had left the room super clean. The room did seem rather tired and could definitely do with a refurbishment.
The adjoining Health Club (not run by Hilton), was very disappointing. The pool was full of debris at the bottom and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly for some time. The sauna and steam room were both not working.
Breakfast again lacked any warmth and the staff seemed to have no grooming standards, one member of staff walking around in a filthy pair of trainers. The breakfast offer itself was good.
I might have raised these concerns on checkout if I was asked how my stay was, but I was never asked.
I’ve stayed in lots of excellent Hilton hotels, and this is evident from my other reviews. This was not one of them!

Really enjoyed my second visit to the Natural History Museum. Absolutely fantastic museum with loads on offer for everyone. I've now done the dinosaur exhibit twice, and will likely make it my first stop on my next visit.
The cocoon was quiet - away from the hustle and bustle of crowds of school kids. Some really cool specimens of insects in there, and had the opportunity to watch some scientists working in real time through the viewing windows.
The mammal exhibit is great with plenty to see, but it would be nice if the invertebrate sea life section had a bit more to look at, it felt like a part of the museum that is coming up for an update.
Plenty of great birds to look at as well, some really cool birds on display.
The architecture too is phenomenal, a genuinely beautiful building to look at, inside and out.
Really looking forward to my next visit, when I'll do the red zone and spend more time in geology. This is really a three visit museum at minimum.

I was in London for work a few months ago, but forgot to leave a review while I was there. The fact that I remembered to go back and leave a review speaks to how great my experience was at Cabotte. The food was phenomenal and the chef and waiter were incredibly accommodating. My coworker and I happened to stumble across Cabbotte on our first night and we ate and drank for hours. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area.
We stopped by for a coffee but also got their carrot, apple, ginger and pear smoothie. It was so refreshing. The staff was from Poland and were so friendly and helpful.
The food is prepared fresh, vibrant and full of flavor. Great wine list. Service is the perfect amount of interaction and delivery. Great atmosphere and perfect location to entertain clients.

The drinks were really good. Every cocktail tasted really nice, they served everything we asked for and the alcohol ratio was perfect.

Great little day trip! The museum has a total of 3 floors showing the history of different modes of transportation in London. From carriages and boats to trains, busses and the tube, everything gets a fair share. Each exhibition piece has detailed information and is presented in a very cute and playful manner. Great for kids too. We spent about 3h here. We were particularly impressed by the animation showing the evolution of the tube map over time.
Fun but expensive. Generally a good vibe, and the downstairs seemed to have a good sound system. However drinks were a bit expensive, and staff charged us different amounts for our drinks each time, and as other reviews have said they don’t show you how much they are charging you. Between £16-20 for two singles which is pretty steep. They let women in before men, even though we all had tickets.

Stayed there during the London Marathon. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The morning of the race not only did they give me directions to the start but connected me with others headed in that direction. They made our stay so special. Location was great, awesome restaurants so close.
We would definitely return when visiting London in the future.

I like the space and thought the sound system sounded good. But I agree with the other reviews. The security is on some weird power trip. They also don't let you see the price when you tap the card, which annoys me. My first drink was £17 for two singles. So the lady bar staff decided to give herself tip. Bit shady in general.
Lovely place to have something to eat and drink. It's traditional Bulgarian menu. Great place for events and family gathering.
Definitely a 5 stars! We visited it 3 days in a row when in London for breakfast, just because everything we tried was absolutely divine! Helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and the food is just something else! Good coffee and everything we tried from breakfast menu is perfect! Absolutely recommend it!
We had a great night last night celebrating a hen do at the Covent Garden venue. Andrew was great throughout the booking process. The venue was really nice, lovely food, service at the venue was brilliant, karaoke was so much fun and a fab selection of songs … overall an excellent experience.
Hard to find, and staff were very dismissive and rude.
We were late for our booking to be fair (due to aforementioned difficulty in finding), the staff thereafter ushered us away at a rate of knots.
The above mentioned casting being done despite the fact that signage was not visible as to which establishment existed at the location.
Furthermore, my girlfriend was denied access to use their bathrooms for a quick toilet break before they cast us out into the freezing London air.
Overall, very poor experience and would not recommend booking there for karaoke with so many other options available.

I booked the private room at The Old Crown Inn for a surprise birthday. It was great! Andrew was really helpful and nice throughout the process. On the night everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back! The karaoke room was big, comfortable and great place to have a good time with friends. Thank you!
We organised our work's Christmas do through Andrew at Brazen Monkey. We were a party of around 30 and we chose the Covent Garden venue, Boulevard Brasserie. Andrew was super helpful throughout the booking process. Karaoke was great fun! A little hard to find the venue as we were looking for a Brazen Monkey sign! Many laughs were had :)
Very poor experience. Visited for a friend's birthday which had to start an hour late due to a double booking by the venue. Furthermore, none of the microphones in the room worked! One staff member in particular was extremely rude, moving us out of the room half way through our allotted time (another staff member told us we had use of that room all night) to an upstairs room that smelt like a wet market and didn't even have a karaoke machine!

Very nice dinner served by polite and nice staff. It is not very cheap but definitely worth the price. The onion soup, lamb shank and duck were all cooked well. Highly recommend to someone wants to have a nice modern French cuisine.
A wonderful treat - high quality food with a wine list that can impress any wine connoisseur (ask for the long list to lose yourself for a good 20 mins). Attention to detail was fantastic and the team were just great.
An exceptional bistro right in the heart of The City. True to its provenance (having been founded by two master sommeliers), there's a wide selection of fine wines and delicious food prepared as accompaniments. Lovely place and kind staff. I love my breakfast here, quick tasty and peaceful. The almond milk cappuccino is exquisite and the price is reasonable for the area and the setting. Nice dish presentation too.
Before, you could tolerate the music as it wasn't too loud and the food was very good.
Now, the music is so loud that you have to scream to talk with your friends, and the food is mainly frozen and portions are smaller than ever, cheating with rice and bread to make you think the portion justifies the price, but it doesn't.
We were affectionate customers, I don't think we'll go there again.

Very pleased with this place. Reasonably priced salads and smoothies.
Went for the pastrami wrap and a green smoothie. Both were amazing and the wrap came nicely presented with some salad on the side.
Smoothie was freshly made and came in a fun and fancy glass. Really good vibes and a decent spot for working in as well.
Tempted to try all their smoothies on the menu!

Staff were amazing and from my partner, they have been working here for a long time. Friendly, attentive, accommodating and knows everything on the menu.
The food was perfectly cooked (Obvs oysters were raw) and prepped; delicious and good size portions.
Love mushrooms but don’t have truffle often, it was the perfect amount on the risotto to complement each other.
Likely to return again in future.

As a foodie, I eat everything and anything so I'm very good at trying out anything edible. As I've recently had Bulgarian food (by an acquaintance) within the past week and loved it, decided to try out this restaurant but I was very disappointed. From the moment I walked in and saw the cold, grumpy and unfriendly staff I wanted to walk out but I was very hungry and really wanted more Bulgarian food based on good experience elsewhere.
The starter was the worst type of calamari I ever had as it was soggy and very bland. If you know me, you know nothing comes between my seafood and I especially calamari. While starter was very bad, the main course was disgusting I swear. The rice that came with my food tasted like vomit (no lie). Overall it was a horrible trip ill never make there again and won't even recommend the place to my worst enemy. Avoid!!!

Lovely event space
Beautiful pub! Trying to visit British Museum we got stuck in here for a whole afternoon. Saturday mid-day it was quiet and perfect chatting and getting drunk with a friend. We ended up spending one hour at the museum.
Cool.
It's a great place for casual drinks but also for Karaoke events for larger groups. There is a smaller room at the 1st floor and a larger at the 2nd floor which can be used for Karaoke parties. We had a great time there with my colleagues.
