Great tower with artifacts related to prison and torture. It is a good recovery and addition to the torture room inside golden lane.
There are two levels with one requiring you to take a narrow stair case down. When busy itt required patience to mak it up and down as there can be no passing on the stairs.

An infamous medieval tower part of Prague Castle which used as a dungeon/prison. This tower portrays the punishment methods in the time. The torture machines and rooms are showed nicely.
Nice building and garden, amazing view, I recommend visiting although you've probably seen it in 10 minutes unless you pay to see the gallery inside. We did not, but we did enjoy the location. Offers a very nice view of the city and the towers atop the Prague Castle

The history behind the street and the people who lived there is interesting but overall it was disappointing. It's a cute little street, but it does not live up to the hype. The 'displays' inside the houses are dirty and not well kept. For the admission price, I was expecting more.
This part of Prague Castle is really interesting to see. It's a long narrow passageway with displays or amour and weapons. Some fascinating and scary looking helmets here. Also new items made by craftsmen. I hope their art continues.

Loreta is gorgeous inside and out. The stairs in the garden are very aesthetic. Every detail is beautiful. Loreta consists of a cloister, the church of the Lord’s Birth, the Santa Casa and a clock tower with a famous chime. The construction started in 1626 and was finished in 1931. The architect is Italian Giovanni Orsi. The baroque façade was designed and added years later by architects Christoph Dientzenhofer and Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.

The music concert with Piano, violin and flute was a nice experience. Listening to popular classical music pieces performed in a small hall (with 50 people capacity maybe) was immersive.

This 1200s (I belive) tower is a wonderful exhibit for medieval history nerds. It's just like your typical medieval towers only... smaller! I really enjoyed this place because of both the view from the seating area just outside, and the beautiful stone work of the tower. Even the history was beautiful as it was displayed very nicely. Well done!

Lovely little lane with all sorts of displays, exhibitions, curiosities and craft shops. Well worth the visit
A beautiful place and garden with nice views to both the city and the castle.
In Praha Hrad ( castle). Old defense wall with medieval armory. Small houses with handcraftshops. Plus the old Palace, the Roman Church, the cathedral etc etc. Realy nice.
Nothing open until 9am. Heavy police/military presence, as these are government buildings. Beautiful place. Take the 22 tram to the top and save a very steep climb up. Quite in early morning, week days.
Charming lane with colourful little houses that seems to come straight out of a Harry Potter book. Most of the houses nowadays are shops, but some are preserved as they were when they were last occupied. It is striking that someone lived there in the second half of the 20th century.

You will open your mouth astonished from the cathedral. It is huge and sophisticated.
The art on the glass is really breathtaking. We all enjoyed the journey and I do recommend getting tickets for the inner part not to visit the free yard only.

Its one of the tour places in Prague castle,street of houses,that depict lifes of herbalist,castle guards,etc,huge collection of armor and weapons,torture chamber,some gift shops.only took pictures and visited places that i had interest in them.
Ein sehr schöner und bestens gepflegter Schlossgarten. Günstig gelegen um mit der Tram bis zum Garten und Sommerschlösschen zu fahren und von dort aus die gesamte Anlage zu erkunden. Im Gartenschlösschen gibt es Ausstellungen und erste schöne Aussichten auf Prag vom Dach aus...
The place is under renovation and the crowd is very high. Long waiting lines for almost 2 hours. If you don’t have the tickets purchased earlier it can be a lot difficult to get inside. Recommended to buy tickets earlier.

Zlatá Ulička - aka. The Golden Lane, is a must see place during the tour of the Hradčany - Prague Castle & Presidential Palaces. From the house of Franz Kafka, other medieval houses of merchants, cooks, powder Tower, Knights' armoury, to medieval prison and torture chambers at Daliborka Tower on the other end, this is a great place to see how servants and knights lived near the Prague castle wall during the times of dark middle ages.
A nice residence/palace of a prominent Czech noble family inside Prague Castle, now returned to the original family after the fall of the iron curtain. It contains one of the Bruegel paintings on the seasons (3 are in Vienna, one in New York) and two nice Canaletto paintings. There is an original manuscript of Beethoven’s 3rd symphony (Eroica) dedicated to one of the Lobkowicz’s ancestors. There is also a spectacular view of Prague from the terrace. Worth a visit if you have time.

The audio guide is wonderful, the terrace offers stunning views, and every day at 13:00 there's a 60 minute classical music concert, which I *highly* recommend!

St. Vitus Cathedral is a prominent Gothic-style cathedral located within Prague Castle in the Czech Republic. It is the largest and most important church in the country and serves as the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. Construction of the cathedral began in 1344 and, while most of the structure was completed in the 14th century, it underwent various stages of construction and renovation over the centuries. St. Vitus Cathedral is renowned for its stunning architecture, beautiful stained glass windows, and its significance in Czech history and culture.
An amazing cathedral with a very soothing ambiance. It’s a shame that you have to pay to go deep inside, it is a place of worship and not a museum. Everyone should be allowed to explore the cathedral fully. The last admission is at 16.40. So don’t trust the Google Maps time schedule. It’s a steep climb, I suggest taking a tram that goes up to both save time and energy. The views of Prague from outside are breathtaking.

We went there at 10pm to enjoy it at nighttime. Apart from another couple, we were the only ones there. Despite the lane being very short, it's still very beautiful.
Quite a nice museum of the collection of a very rich family. The price is fair and there are some truly beautiful decorations. I am not giving it five stars since I found it quite boring at times

Not recommended. The exhibition is average and there’s a very rude female staff at the entrance who refuse to let me use the bathroom here even though I paid for a valid ticket to this permanent exhibition
It is one of the fifth things you must visit if you buy a classic tour ticket for Prague castle. Although it is empty, you shall realise the amazement of the castle.
Beautiful place. I like small museums created inside small houses of the lane. For me, This lane was best part of whole castle tour. But yes, it is full of tourist so try to visit as early as possible to take food pictures with multi color lane.

Torture chamber in this part of Prague Castle. Shows lots of equipment and implements of death. Please don't be this guy and his friends testing out ancient equipment..
Very interesting example of apartments and living arrangements of the time. The armory upstairs running the length of the row houses was very interesting. The collection was exhaustive.

You can know more history and building of the Royal palace. Very quick to finish the visit but long queue time
Really great collection of a high aristocracy living standards through the Holy Roman Empire going back through 15th century. For those that are interested in genuine historic artefacts and a story that goes along with them, you can spend hours here. We took about two hours to go through with the included audio guide but you can take longer if you delve deeper into the individual items, their history, and the historical context behind them. We were here in shoulder season and it was not busy but I would probably recommend getting tickets ahead of time in peak season.

Beautiful grounds with a lot of history. Its quite a steep climb so be ready for it.

It's a very well kept and beautiful palace. I went to the classical music concert which was excellent. The space was decorated with amazing art work and it was an intimate setting. I highly recommend seeing the classical concerts there. It's only £38 for two tickets and lasts an hour. Plus you can see the rest of the museum after which has a beautiful balcony on the top floor that overlooks Prague.

Loreta is a pilgrimage destination in Hradčany, a district of Prague, Czech Republic. It consists of a cloister, the church of the Lord’s Birth, the Santa Casa and a clock tower with a famous chime The chapel is most known for its peal, heard since August 15, 1695. It was constructed during 1694 by watchmaker Peter Neumann from thirty smaller and larger bells.
Today the building also houses a large collection of liturgical tools, mainly monstrances. Exhibitions are occasionally held on the first floor of the cloister. We spent an hour there, staff is very nice and helpful.

Three Royal residence palace originally built in 10th century, expanded to todays dimensions in 14th century by emperor Charles IV. It was used also as the place for coronations of the kings. The ticket is the same one you can enter cathedral of the st Vitus. 250 CZK or ~10EUR.
Very nice museum with beautiful paintings from 1600-1800 and more. The fine porcelain wears were breathtaking. The museum has beautiful ceiling arts and a balcony with a great view. And a free toilet is included in the admission fee (ask the staff for the code).

Obsessed with this place - quiet, beautiful, little surprises around each corner. Really recommend spending 45mins-1hr here just taking it all in. It's like a little hidden courtyard with lots of artefacts and a BEAUTIFUL church on site. If you're around the castle area, I highly recommend a stroll around!
There is a ramp so could just ride a horse inside this building.
Good view, good for photography. Nearest Garden was also beautiful and good portraits and architecture can be captured. I would recommend to go early in the morning as it's little bit busy and crowded place during the daytime.

The garden and the view are beautiful indeed, but the Queen Anne’s Summer palace is closed and only opens on special events
The Cathedral sits in the centre of the Castle complex and is visible from all around the area. Very beautiful outside and inside. You can enter the cathedral for free, but there is a large area accessible only by ticket. There is a separate ticket for entry to the cathedral tower. Both are worth visiting. From the tower you can have a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Keep in mind to reach the top of the tower you need to go up 287 steps. It can be a bit claustrophobic.
The interior is relatively underwhelming, with large open spaces that consist of few attractions and basic stone walls that don’t differ much from the other exhibitions. There is very little information to be read about the attractions within. There is a paragraph of information for every 3-5 attractions which leaves you wondering about the significance behind a lot.
Regardless, it’s an important part of history and there are a couple things within that are worth seeing (please view attached photos for references).
Overall, if you have time visit it. It will only be 10-15 minutes, but don’t plan your trip around this.

Very impressive compound and even if you have just a few hours in Prague, this is where you should spend them. You can get tickets that grant you access to the old castle, the cathedral, the basilica and the Golden Lane, which are all next to each other. As you can imagine, the place can get super crowded with tourists, so if you'd like to avoid that, make sure you set your alarm early enough to beat the hoards of tourists who will be heading there.

Since the mid-20th century, the Riding School has been an exhibition venue.

We liked the hotel. It's situated in the historical part of Prague, and costs not very much. Interiors are great, interesting, and everything is clean. The breakfast was great, rich choice of food. And very pleasant lady at the reception made us feeling so comfortable we didn't want go away. Definitely will stay there again and recommend it our friends.

MAJESTIC! Unbelievable. Just mesmerising. If you’re in prague you have to party but also, you have to come here. The architecture, the heights, the castles. It looks like dream. You can see the whole city from here. I went to Prague on bachelor’s and still we had an amazing time here
The Daliborka tower is the prison/place of torture (was there a difference then), of Prague Castle, back in the day. Not it houses prison/torture exhibits on two levels. There's not much on show. there's a single board describing the use of Daliborka tower, plus labels for many of the exhibits.
Entry is basically free. Not much to see really, but it's kind of entertaining trying to navigate the tower as it's not been modernised. The building and stairwells are old.

Rich and detailed exhibition, wgere you could spend a lot of time on learning the history of Prague Castle.
I found this place to have the best view of the city. Really calm and quiet if you go early. You can take some nice panoramic pictures.
Well organized Slovak Impressionists exhibition. Even if you are not crazy about impressionists, it is a historically informing collection of art. There was only one female artist if I am not mistaken.

A magical place! The beautiful park with all it's unusual trees turned out to be a very relaxing walk (as all the crazy tourists were standing in the km long queues to get into the cathedral). And the Summer Palace is much nicer than the 'main' one!

История дома "У золотой звезды" неразрывно связана с Градчанами. Сам дом, выполненный в стиле барокко, расположен у подножья к Градчанской площади. Первые письменные упоминания о нем датируются 1372 годом. Тогда дом принадлежал градчанскому бурмистру. Свой современный барочный облик дом приобрел в 1723-1732 годах, когда он был полностью перестроен. Сегодня из внутреннего интерьера в хорошем состоянии сохранилась лестница, которой уже почти 290 лет, а также богато украшенные потолки.
Дом "У Золотой звезды" помимо самой звезды имеет еще и второй знак - "Всевидящее око", которое считается знаком масонов. Они использовали этот символ для напоминания о всепроникающем взгляде божественного провидения, о присутствии Великого Архитектора Вселенной. Такой символ присутствует в декоре почти каждой масонской ложи.
На рубеже 20-21 веков дом был перестроен в роскошный отель "Golden Star". Из номеров отеля открывается вид на черепичные крыши Малой Страны. На первом этаже находится неплохой ресторан.

The Story of Prague Castle is the name of a permanent exhibition that was opened in 2004 in the Gothic floor of the Old Royal Palace at Prague Castle. The permanent exhibition will introduce you to the thousand-year history of Prague Castle as a place where the history of Czech statehood was formed. It also tries to capture everyday life at Prague Castle and focuses not only on Czech rulers and presidents, but also on other ordinary inhabitants of the castle. The exhibition features original monuments from the castle's collections, including archaeological exhibits - all exhibits are accompanied by texts on panels and detailed description in both Czech and English. The top adornment of the collections is the armor and helmet of St. Wenceslas from the 10th century, which comes from the St. Vitus Cathedral treasure.

At night this place definitely offers great views. A really beautiful overview of the city is seen and relaxing too. Really nice on a dry warm evening.

We visited the location when there was a special exhibition of Czech impressionism paintings and it was a pleasant surprise. It exceeded our expectations by miles.
I sat on the terrace with a wonderful view on the picturesque street and took only a cappucino. Sadly to say, this coffee was one of the worst I have ever got.

My favourite exhibition hall. Very often very interesting exhibitions.
The Black Tower of Prague Castle guards the eastern entrance. It offers stunning views of the town and is a wonderful place to visit, especially when the skies are clear.
Don't like horses? It is still worth seeing. It has some well maintained grounds.
