I've been there during the Christmas holiday, was busy but the atmosphere was amazing!!! Don't forget to have the Hot Chocolate at Cluny ($10🫣) and a Beer at the Flame ($5🤩).

It's an annual trip with my wife and in-laws to go to the Toronto Christmas market. We brave the cold weather but the food is great and the atmosphere is amazing for the season. Always a good time.

The "Big Heart" sculpture at Toronto's Distillery District is an iconic art piece, celebrated for its vibrant and romantic design, making it a favorite among visitors for photos. However, while the sculpture beautifully symbolizes connection and love, its placement in the midst of a bustling "concrete jungle" detracts from its charm. Many visitors find it challenging to capture a photo without the backdrop of industrial surroundings and other urban distractions, which can diminish the sculpture's otherwise striking appeal.

The juxtaposition of the historic architecture and modern installations in the Distillery District contributes to its unique character, but this particular piece might benefit from a more serene or natural setting to fully highlight its emotional impact. Despite this, the District remains a lively hub of culture and creativity, drawing crowds with its boutiques, eateries, and rich history.
The Baptist church lacked warmth and inclusivity. The atmosphere felt judgmental and unwelcoming, with little effort made to engage newcomers or foster a sense of community. Services were rigid and uninspiring, leaving attendees feeling disconnected rather than spiritually uplifted.

August 2024 Played tennis 🎾 at Kew Gardens then dinner in Leslieville and ice cream 🍦 at Beaches and Cream. A great in the city evening 😋 but parking is a nightmare around the Beach 👎

I grew up coming to Woodbine Beach, often during the summer. In the last few years, I've enjoyed it more during the spring and fall seasons. Taking our dogs for a stroll on the boardwalk brings back childhood memories. Plenty of shade and places to enjoy a small picnic or playing on the sand. I've found myself more closer to the baseball field. Great for throwing a frizbe or ball with your kids.

The CN Tower is a 553.3 m-high (1,815.3 ft) observation tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was Completed in 1976, and located in downtown Toronto. It was built by Canadian National, and Its name "CN" referred to Canadian National.

It has been a long while since I explored downtown Toronto. I was fascinated and mesmerized by all the amazing architectural buildings especially the famous CN Tower. I took many photos from different perspectives to show the uniqueness of these marvelous buildings.

One of the only best places where you can see the whole cn tower at a distance
Too woke for my taste. Stained glass had Rottenkid and freemasonic "eye" symbols.

A #1 location to visit in Toronto. The boardwalk and walking trails offer a beautiful, quiet stroll with views of the lake and wildlife.

Perfect location for your CN tower photos 📸
NYCO (North York Concert Orchestra) performed Saint-Saens "Organ" Symphony, Guilmant Organ Concerto and Debussy L'apres midi de la faune here. Yorkminster Park Baptist Church is huge and the to organ is well suited to the space. Before the soundcheck, we had a guided tour of the organ chamber. It was impressive. Small wonder that the organ wouldn't be drowned out by the orchestra, not with 6,000 pipes available to be played. It was a wonderful experience and I am sure the audience was thrilled.
Amazing streets views with lots of traffic 😬

Amazing spot for walking with kids and dogs. There is also a bike lane here for a beautiful scenic bike ride. The beach is always a good time!

This is a amazing place ! If you are from GTA- area and near by suburbs. And you go to Cancun to have beach vibe in summer - You are missing out a lot .

This place gives miami vibes + there are so many beaches that you will feel you are in miami. You can plan a family trip here for a fraction of cost of beach vibe by travel .

Nice atmosphere at evening time, just to walk around
One of the best place in Toronto
Terrible experience! An embarrassment to the the name of Jesus and what He died for. To think I had brought a Muslim friend with me who would have been attending a church service for the 1st time and we had this experience!

What my friend said after the experience: "churches are like that... they're just good to look at". What a testimony Yorkminister Park Baptist Church. What a gospel to share!

Our experience:
I had just dropped off my luggage at the air bnb and decided to go to church. I am just visiting Toronto. I checked for the closest church that was open and saw this was open from 11am to 2pm. Just after 12 pm, we took the 4 minutes walk down to the church. The 1st bad sign was that all the doors were locked. We walked around and had to l asked people sitting about how to access the property. This took at least 5 minutes. We were told to knock on one of the doors and someone will open - awesome practice of Matthew 7:7 guys!
My friend was the one who knocked. This guy in his suit and tie opened the door and the 1st thing he says: "service is over". He repeated this about 3 times. No hello, no welcome, no how can we help you. Just "service is over". I responded by telling him that online, it says their service is from 11am to 2pm (at the entrance to the church, even the electronic info board also said the same thing). His reponse was something along the line of... "I don't know. The church is closing now. We're just singing the final hymn, people will begin coming out soon".
What if we just wanted to pray or have a quiet time with God mister?

This was really an embarrassment to the name of Christ. You guys shouldn't do better. Jesus would not be proud.

Visit during the evening( after 5pm) less people, and so many places to just sit down and relax. Enjoy the beauty. A must go if you wanna enjoy some peace.

Nothing special. Cool street placed in a artsy, old neighborhood with brick houses. Worth to take a look around.

A beautiful place to hang out with friends and family especially at night time
What an inspiring space! Vast inside. Beautiful heights; simple and graceful architecture. Acoustics are heavenly for choirs.
I went to this church for the first time for the 2023 Lester Randall Preaching Fellowship so it wasn't for a regular service. Nevertheless, the church was very welcoming and a couple of ladies who didn't even know my name invited me to the Tim Hortons close by.

Although the church looks intimidating from the outside, the people are friendly.
Came to hear a talk at this church as part of their Speakers Series - an excellent and entertaining evening.

A warm and friendly group of people ran the event, and I was made to feel very welcome. The talk was held in a hall with excellent sound and large display screen. The building is accessible for those with mobility issues.
The incessant chiming of the bells was nothing short of a nightmare. I can appreciate the tradition and significance of bell chiming, especially in a church setting, but this particular establishment seemed to have taken it to an extreme. It's one thing to play the bells every hour, as is customary in many churches, but this place went far beyond that.

For hours on end, the bells continued to ring, disrupting any semblance of peace and tranquility in the area. It was not only irritating but, dare I say, incredibly rude. I found myself wondering whether the church was aware of the impact their excessive bell chiming was having on the surrounding community.

Even as I write this message the bells have been going for 30 minutes.
Exceptional.... visit Toronto. Niagara falls, then Niagara on the lake. [Millionaires playground] All fantastic... photos posted on here..
Quaint spot for a walk alongside the credit river. Can also have a picnic at certain spots, watch for red ants though they’re really mean here.
One of a kind experience and very immersive. You really get the feeling of being one with the waterfall
Nice size. Shady areas. Wood chips are great! Nice water pump.
What a tremendous Place. Whoever come to Canada they must visit this place. This is truly amazing View of nature.

Wonderful place to walk through. Always something to see; fall, winter, autumn, and spring. Cute artisan shops, great coffee, great photo opportunities too. Don't miss this.
Waited for an hour at pick-up point to get pick-up at all. Then another 1,5 hour at another pick-up place. Bringing us home wasn't great either, because they had to bring some people to the airport first.
The service you get is just a taxi to niagra falls. Sure the driver was nice, but paying this and just waiting so long is not good.

It is always fun to visit Niagara Falls. The zip lining is fun. The cruise is worths to have a try. Wished there’s bit more of the fine dining with a great view.

Transit takes upwards of 4 hours to get from Toronto to the falls through the GO train, GO bus, and WeGo bus.

When you transfer from Go to WeGo, a different pass is required which costs 10 dollars for a day pass which can be purchased at the office the bus arrives at with cash only.

The falls themselves are gorgeous though coming at peak tourist season means you will be surrounded by crowds.
It's hard to believe you are in the city. A lovely park that has a dog area, and a ravine path. 🍁🍃🍂
A favourite spot to take my dog. It's large and great dog owners in the neighborhood but not enclosed if you have a runner.

Cute attraction, definitely really popular cause why not - it's a heart shape. There is usually a decent wait especially with wedding photos but also tourists around as well. There's much more to see other than the Big Heart.

If you want to wait feel free, but otherwise, browse deeper into the Distillery District for the famous LOVE lock attraction instead for more waiting in line as well.
An interesting trail to stroll through, but take note that it has recently not be maintained. Some trees have fallen on the trail. Still definitely a place to visit if you are looking for a nice little nature stroll in the middle of the east end of the city.
Loved it. Went as a child now brining the kids here. At night is the best the falls light up, so cool.
Nice unfenced offleash dog park, with enough room to use a ball thrower. Wood chips cover about half the area of the park. Dogs and people are all friendly.
There is a train track to the south, but a well-maintained fence prevents access. You can pass through the gate at the south-west corner to go into a small ravine (on-leash), which has a path that loops back around to the park.
Oh I love this little ravine. Just like those little British wild areas I grew up in, sandwiched between dense housing and the railway. It's still so glorious. Post-industrial nature in tiny miniature.

But they're about to put up a 3m concrete embankment wall...for necessary progress of course. For the very rail path that defined it.
Progress. Progress towards and progress away... C'est la vie éclarée
Love this dog park! People are super friendly lots of trees. It's not fenced in so beware of your dog needs a closed off space. Close to the ravine. Grass and wood chip terrain .
