Very cool and unusual space. Dozens of rooms from 4 apartment buildings combined together in a labyrinth of treasures. Definitely recommend to book tickets in advance. Takes around 2 hours to see most of the place and discover the secret doors. Not cold inside. Place functions as a hotel as well.
I was really surprised when I visited this place. I believe it’s made up of 5 row houses and each room is filled floor to ceiling with all kinds of memorabilia. We laughed at how crazy it was. It was fun trying to find secret doors (I think we counted 9) but w en funnier is that people actually book rooms there. It has the feel of an indoor flea market, not only because nearly everything there can be purchased, but because there’s so much old, random stuff. If you have an hour or so to kill and want to do something out of the norm and have a laugh, go for it!
Ok very interesting antique store and landmark. Not for young kids really. Don't bother with the special tours for "spies" etc - total rip off. But if you want a special shopping experience or want to see interesting musical memorabilia this is your place! To be fair, we did spend over 2 hours and the secret doors are cool!! Very "meow-wolfy" but much more authentic. This would be a really cool place for an adult dinner parté 😘😉
Family loved it, including wife and 2 boys 11 & 9. Kids loved secret doors. Wife loved secret rooms and exploring mansion, enjoying decor. Did not stay at property. Very unusual experience... Unique. Recommended!
Went to the O Museum in The Mansion for the tour. This tour included searching for hidden doors and gems through out the space. There are 70 hidden doors, but most that tour only find a small fraction of them. Normally less than 2. ;)

The Rosa Parks room was fantastic, to actually be in a space that she lived for over 10 years was epic. The entire mansion feels like a huge thrift/antique store. It has a ton of books, toys, dishes, you name it. The space is fantastic. It is a lot of walking and a lot of stairs, although you can take the elevator to each floor. Overall this was the most enjoyable tour we took while visiting the Nation's Capital.

We visited the O Museum to explore the rooms and discover the hidden doors. We spent half the day searching for hidden doors, retracing our steps, and shopping for interesting items. We found 24 doors and were done for the day! We will return to search again. This is an amazing place to explore, enjoy, and relish what the O Museum has to offer those who enter. This is a hidden gem of Washington DC. You can uncover the hidden doors if you are willing to search and keep an open mind!
It's an interesting and unique experience and definitely different from your normal museum. I would recommend everyone try it out at least once. However, because of all the artifacts, it can be hard to find a flow so be prepared for possible sensory overload very quickly. Also, because there are so many aged things in an aged building, it has a very strong musty odor that made it difficult to breathe by the end of our 2 hour tour. I would strongly suggest they install dehumidifiers or something to that effect to help with the smell. Even opening some windows would help but it is definitely not a place where an asthmatic can feel comfortable much less stay overnight.

We were very fortunate in finding this beautiful venue in DC! There are several different event spaces to choose from, both indoor and outdoor. The place is clean and well maintained.
Brian Lutenegger, the manager is very cooperative, communicative and helpful. We are very happy we celebrated our son’s wedding in this awesome place!

Fun experience with a lot to discover. Booked on Airbnb for $35. Arrived at the museum and had to wait a couple minutes outside after ringing the doorbell. Service was friendly and clearly shared the museum rules. The mansion itself is fascinating architecturally, but the rooms did feel cluttered and had a thrift store vibe, especially since everything was purchasable. I started feeling nauseous after about an hour of exploring - walking up and down staircases through the old house can be dizzying and musty, so folks who tend to experience vertigo or have air sensitivity please take note. I found eight secret doors and stumbling upon each one was pretty satisfying. This doesn't include the many doors that were openly labeled with something like "you found a secret door! this counts but don't open this one." I'm not adding those to my total - what's the point of counting those as "secrets doors" in the advertised 80+ if they're not secret? A couple doors I found were also pretty obvious (hinges apparent), but thankfully I didn't have the misfortune of witnessing someone open one I hadn't before. I appreciate that the number of guests at a certain time was limited and it didn't get too crowded. I do think it should be more clearly emphasized at the beginning to close doors behind you properly, because it was frustrating to see another guest simply walk out of one and not bother to close it behind him. The museum isn't for everyone, but it's an unforgettable experience.
Dumbarton is a remarkable venue for a small and intimate wedding. They have a beautiful garden (with a lovely brick backdrop) for the ceremony and an outdoor cocktail hour. We had the reception in a lower level tented area complete with interior bar and dance floor. Street parking is difficult to find.

Gallery O on H is the perfect venue for any occasion. The venue has unique indoor and outdoor spaces to entertain and celebrate. The outdoor urban garden is great for a sit down dinner, band, dance party, or all the above. The proprietors, Dolly and Steve, are welcoming, supportive, and are willing to adapt and be flexible to whatever your event requires. We couldn't have chosen a better location for our wedding. On top of all that, it's right in the heart of DC on H street with plenty of options for after parties near by. If you want to have wedding in DC with both indoor and outdoor spaces, there is no better place than Gallery O.
Thank you for hosting the DC Wine Fest! Spring Edition. We found this event during our vacation and were so glad we decided to attend. I found my new favorite Moscato and loved the price point! I also enjoyed the candle shop. We picked up a few candles, and they were thoughtful enough to double bag them due to the rain. I look forward to their Christmas in July sale!

We made couple events in this cosy event place, and all was awsome, extra organized staff, flexible management. They are very helpful. Only thing is parking, but I feel it is an issue for entire DC event places.
I had the pleasure of working with the owners of Gallery O oh H. My experience was very positive. Mary Ellen was extremely flexible and accommodating. She went above and beyond for our branding event. As an event planner, I truly appreciate our new relationship and can’t wait to host more events at this unique and beautiful venue with outdoor and indoor space. Everything was perfectly manicured and sparkling clean
I attended an anniversary party there not long ago. They were celebrating one year of being in business. It's a great place to rent for any number of events. However, parking is not great because it's located downtown DC.
This is a great venue for all sorts of events. The gallery was clean. It is close to several parking garages and there was plenty of street parking wgen we attended "The Boozy Cauldron" event.
We had our wedding at Dumbarton House last year. They have a great team and are well prepared to work with repeat vendors to ensure success. For anyone considering this venue: The site allows for great "sectioning" where dinner setup, cocktail hour, and family photos can all be happening on site simultaneously with no one bumping into each other. Highly recommend the garden for cocktail hour, just know you'll need lighting. Doing this frees up the entire "upper deck" of house, upper terrace, north garden etc for photos with no one seeing or in your way.
This space was AMAZING and the perfect venue for an art show/ pop- up. The host was very friendly, timely and efficiently communicative. She made the entire process smooth and was extremely resourceful. The space was exactly as advertised and what we needed. The art exhibition would not have been as successful if not for the host's assistance in hanging up the artwork. Would definitely recommend Asian Fusion Gallery to any serious artist needing a professional and clean gallery space in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, to exhibit their artwork.
Highly recommend using Asian Fusion Gallery for your next event! After doing a lot of research, they are the only event space in the area that offers flexible options when it comes to hosting your next event. They don't require you use specific vendors which is great given the cost of rentals and caterers.

I was delivering some party rental items yesterday for an event later that day I had never been there before and was only there to do a quick drop off.
On one of my trips in an employee stopped me and said "I know you're working, but we have a lot of leftover food and you're welcome to have some if you like"

A beautiful space for a gallery exhibit/art show. We hosted + curated our first one in this space and it was a huge success. June was extremely helpful in coordinating with us and super responsive. We will definitely be back here for sure.
We watched Peace by chocolate movie.. It was amazing, but the audio at the gallery was really really baaaaad.. We couldn't understand what the actors were saying.. We had to read the subtitles to understand. And when we bought the tickets it was mentioned that we'll get a chocolate bar, but we got nothing! Anyway the staff was friendly and the movie was great.. Only the audio was so bad.
Friends Meeting of Washington is an idyllic venue for a DC wedding. It has indoor and outdoor spaces. It has multiple beautiful gardens. The interior is stunning, the location is unmatched and the price point is incredibly fair. We were able to have the perfect wedding here and could not recommend it more. Our venue coordinator, Brian, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He made our lives so easy and was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and problems. He went above and beyond what we expected.

A versatile, chic new venue in the heart of DC. We love working with the team at The Schuyler who make it easy to plan corporate and social events and weddings.
The company I work for used this space for our annual fundraiser and we were so happy with the outcome! June was very communicative, organized, flexible, and helpful in the weeks coming up to the event. The space is sizeable, well located, and very reasonably priced, would highly recommend to anyone!
It was a great pleasure dealing with June who is in charge at the Asian Fusion Gallery. She was available, cordial, and responsive to questions and concerns. Our event went on well and our guests had great feedback about the venue and the atmosphere.

Union Station is a great place for commuters and tourists. Grand architecture. A must to see. One big drawback in visiting is public transportation. Extremely expensive (gouging) to the amount of computers who uses it and this is also for private parking.
Very nice venue and staff. Save on uplighting cost by booking this venue. In house Audio and video as well. We added sound to accommodate number of people for your event.

Interesting history & loved the story of how women led preservation efforts. Not slot to see, but worth an hour or so of time.
I needed a location fir a video shoot so I rented their library room for filming and they’ve been super kind , responsive and helpful. Brian is the mvp. We’ll definitely go back there in the future.
My party payed $10 each for a self-guided tour. Much of the museum was closed off and, although there were some interesting rooms (I think there were three in total), the entire experience was very underwhelming. I love this sort of thing and so have gone to a lot of similar places, and this simply was not well done. If it were free I would give it a better review, but paying $10 for it was ridiculous. Would not suggest.
The most versatile event venue in DC. Perfect for a product launch, fashion show, wedding, meeting, and more. They allow you to work with your choice of vendors, don't nickel and dime you for things like basic WiFi, and offer you everything (tables, chairs, china, silver, glassware, buffet equipment, decor, etc.) at no extra cost if you want!
We have been looking for an event space for a while. The Schuyler was perfect.
State-of-the-art technology, clean, and centrally located. I was more surprised by all the safety measures they are taking ( in light of covid-19) prior to / post each event.

This is the coolest place in DC. Very friendly staff who are all smiles and ready give you all the info you need. Their rental space is the most amazing for wedding and any kind of party. Advicing anyone who needs a cool place for a wedding, meeting, party to give them a call.
Dumbarton House is a historic house in Georgetown built in 1800 when the federal government was in Philadelphia and not D.C. It was a private residence until 1928 when it became the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America HQ. Four years later, they opened a house museum inside.
They offer tours for $10 and it takes you through the house museum on the ground floor and the exhibit on the second floor, which rotates every six months. There's also a large garden on the property as well.

The oldest Quaker Meeting house in the nation, built for Herbert Hoover with the same materials the original White House was built with. This Friends Meeting is powerful in their Work and Message. Any visitors are always welcomed with open hearts. A fantastic place for Serenity and Worship of the Light. Thank you, Friends!
Terrible event! I was invited to The 2nd annual DC Brunch Festival on Dock 5 and it was the pits!!! It was more like a Sardines festival. It was packed, hard to walk around, lines everywhere, plenty drinks and very little food!!! The free glass was dirty and plastic! Parking a logistical nightmare. I had to go next door and pay to eat! This event is for the easily duped!!!
Nice venue. There is not much draw here other than the open canvas and your vision. The scenery is not beautiful or amazing but it allows for a nice city comfort feeling that is hip and trendy. You can really decorate or create whatever environment you want inside the space that offers plenty of room.

Such an amazing place for weddings! As a wedding photographer I was amazed how amazing is! Amazing views, great location! Highly recommended!

Although, I have a bitter sweet thought process about this place because I left my new Canon battery and charger which cost me about $140.
I tried to reach out to the staff, but there was no contact as of yet.
Overall it's a great place to attend!

I have an update to this review! I received my Canon battery and charger back! So not only was this a great venue, but the staff and promoters were responsive to my messages! Which saved me time and money!
There were hundreds, maybe even one thousand people that attended that event that Saturday. The office was closed on Monday and I did not really expect to get my equipment back.
This really helped me restore faith in people! People are good! and the staff and management at Dock5 are great! I created an issue for my company and they solved it by just giving great service to their vendors, clients and customers!
Thank You to the staff and management at Dock5, I appreciate you and your vision for entertainment in this city!! I hope to visit and enjoy your venue again in the near future!

This is a multi purpose space. I've been to two totally different types of events and both times the bathroom was spotless! (That includes being there for a wine and spirits fest...the bathroom could've been a nightmare and it wasn't! #winning) Kudos to the staff for keeping the place clean and to the two events I've been to for picking a really great space.
