Best banh mi sandwiches and Vietnamese spring rolls. Great value and authentic taste. Take out only.
Great spot for some vegan/vegetarian pho or bun Bo hue. I’m a big meat lover but honestly loved the broth and imitation meats/tofu and couldn’t tell a huge difference. Also definitely recommend getting their imitation tuna banh mi sandwich.Service was slightly slow to come check on our table, but besides that staff was very polite and got our food out in a timely manner.

Looks good but doesn’t taste good. Everything seems over salted.

I ordered D4 soup and a rice dish with pork chop. The D4 is very good, but the pork chop is surprisingly good! It is juicy, tender and flavorful. I'd say it the best pork chop I have had.

I love the “mì vịt tiềm” (slow cooked duck noddles with goji berry/lotus seed), the taste is out of this world, it’s a must try item! This dish is also beneficial for your health. The wonton noodle soup is also good. Service is extremely friendly and excellent! I will come back every time I’m nearby this area.
Vegetarian Vietnamese food with imitation meats for every type of meat available out there. While the food itself was yum, having most of the ingredients (such as the imitation meats) available for purchase is very useful.
The menu is extensive (though some items were unavailable). Soups are large, so be prepared to share if not take away.
Good stuff!

First time to be there, it is a quiet place. Server are very patient and friendly , they listen to your requests and offer you great advices. All the food are super fresh and tasty, also portion is massive as well. It definitely worth for its price. Highly recommend this place if you wanna try Pho in Vaughan.

A super cute family owned business - the owners put a lot of thought into the decor of their restaurant, it was a very nice & unique experience. The owners are very thoughtful of their customers, service was great. Food was even better! I will definitely be coming back.

Went in for house special, 201 Large. Once I recieved the bowl of pho I noticed not very much meat at all. 2 beef balls, 1 small piece of tendon, 4 pieces of rare beef and noodles.. not impressed at all, and at a 17$ price tag. I tried talking to the owner politely about it, he just dismissed me and moved onto the next customer. Never going back to this pho!!

Delicious vermicelli bowl, big portions and quick service. Really flavorful spring roll and pork ❤️
Various options for vegetarian meals. Customer service was good, however took long time waiting for the foods arrived.

“Bun rieu chay” was great but the portion is kind of small with the high price, the noodle and vegies, meats were not much, because of the big bowl and a lot of soup made it look like huge.

“Tien Vua salad” was ok, nothing special.

I liked the “Hu tieu xao thap cam”, which I would be coming back for this again.
I typically visit in the afternoon and find this is when they have the freshest ingredients. Usually after lunch but before supper time is the sweet spot where you can see the ladies build your sandwich & restock their tables. That being said, their pricing has gone up quite a bit. Would still return, just not as frequently.

A very good Vietnamese restaurant in Vaughan. This is my second time to dine in this restaurant. My friends fly to Toronto to visit us and we bring them to this nearby restaurant. It is 8pm on a Friday night and are full, fortunately we take the last set of seats.
The food is delicious, I especially like my vermicelli, B09 grilled beef & spring roll on vermicelli. The portion of beef is large and the grilled beef tastes very good. The spring roll is a pretty long one, taste okay but gives a little strange yellow look. Vermicelli only comes in one size, and I have to share almost half to my husband. I am extremely full after finishing it. The beef rice noodle soup also looks good, it has 4 sizes. Small size is good enough for lady if you also have side orders. Our side order is A02 fresh rolls with shrimp, pork, vegetable & vermicelli. The rice skin is chewy but not my favorite.
Overall food tastes good, portion is big, seat is spacious and service is good and polite.
Loved this little no-nonsense spot in Vaughan! A great place to go after a day at Wonderland.

The food was so delicious and the menu is so large, you could go back dozens of times and try a new dish each time! I recommend the S1 (beef noodle soup) and the A01 (crispy fried chicken with sticky rice). The A01 was incredibly unique and so delicious! The portions of everything are genuinely huge as well.

The only thing is that the S1 came with a much thicker noodle, despite the menu stating vermicelli. I mention this for those who have their hearts set on vermicelli, but I personally didn’t mind at all.

All in all, will definitely be returning!

If your thinking of Vietnamese in this area and haven't been here, this is a place to try out.
Very authentic and with some options not found often. A good portion and selection of accompanying herbs and veggies.

Phở bò kho - stewed beef $16.50
Carrots, beef in a tomato soup. Very good. Would recommend.

Phở đặc biệt - beef noodle soup extra large $17
Not bad, though I find it a bit milder in taste.

Bún mảm - Vietnamese Fermented fish & seafood vermicelli soup $17
Very good. Rich in flavors. Would recommend.

Đậu đó, đậu xanh thạch nước dừa - Tricolor drink $5
Made of Red bean, green bean & jelly with coconut milk. A standard. Could've been a larger serving.
Good food, huge portions, awesome flavour. Lacked any atmosphere inside. Pho and vermicelli with spring rolls and pork skewer very nice!
Luckily I haven't gotten bad service here like others have mentioned, but the subs aren't great and made ahead of time which might save you time but don't taste very fresh. Sadly this is the only Banh Mi in the area, their other location on Jane in North York is miles better than this location.

I recently visited Pho Friendly 18 and would like to share my experience. While the restaurant has spacious seating, I was disappointed to find that the food lacked the flavour I was hoping for. Despite the many positive reviews I had read prior to my visit, I found myself struggling to enjoy my meal. Despite this, I must commend the establishment on their comfortable and spacious seating arrangements. All in all, while my personal experience did not live up to my expectations, I encourage others to give Pho Friendly 18 a try and form their own opinions.

Decorated nicely and a variety of Vietnamese dish options. We ordered the pork leg and shrimp with transparent noodle (banh canh tom gio heo) and bun cha hanoi. The broth was good and we were given a good amount of meatballs. I think it would've been nice to have more pork meat and shrimp than just the meat balls. The bun cha was really good also. I would have liked it if it had more of the homemade Vietnamese meatballs. Overall though, it's a good spot to get Vietnamese food if you're near the area.
We’ve been coming here for over a decade I’m sure. Not the greatest place for service, but it’s relatively quick and cheap for some banh mi. It has definitely gone up in price since we started coming here, but it’s still a decent deal. We also love the Vietnamese iced coffee and always grab the pre-made goi cuons.
One of the best Vietnamese vegan / vegetarian restaurants. Always drop by here.

Lots of Banh Mi selection.
Lots of Noodle Soup selection.
Trascendental.

After a long day at Wonderland, I stumbled upon this hidden gem in Vaughan.

Where do I start? I like vegetarian restaurants but couldn’t fathom how pho could be recreated with no meat. But to say I’ve changed my mind is an understatement to how delicious everything was.

Starting with the Bahn Mi, they were fresh, crunchy and tasted better than their meat counter parts.

The pho was just on another level. The broth was an experience in itself, but the textures (including bamboo, carrot and tofu) added to replace the beef actually made it so much better. I think this pho has become my new favourite.

On top of all this, the service was outstanding. the restaurant was clean and vibrant and we felt right at home.

10/10 *chef kiss emoji*

Hope to come back soon.

Honestly one of the best pho places my fiancé and I have ever tried, the service was amazing, very attentive, the background music was great, super fair price, the homemade chilli oil was AMAZING, the environment was so peaceful, highly recommended!!!!!!!!! We’re definitely coming back!!!!
Pretty decent Vietnamese food, we enjoyed it.
Unless you speak Vietnamese don't expect good service.
Staff needs inclusiveness training. Customers should be treated the same on a first come first serve basis.
If you are lucky enough to get service...... the lemongrass sausage sandwich was my favorite when I used to buy Vietnamese sandwiches here.

Great pho and spring rolls. Great customer service. Great restaurant overall.
💯% vegetarians go to place. We loved it and will be back again. If you are vegan or vegetarian, feel confident to order anything. Small and cozy place. ✨️ I loved it.
I used to buy sandwiches often here. Not anymore because I had diarrhea the last couple times I had these sandwiches. So I am sure something isn’t right here. I noticed they like to pre-package sandwiches in the morning. I assume those are made with day old ingredients. I often go early and this is what they grab for me unfortunately. I also notice their bread doesn’t seem to be fresh even when you see the lady assembling the sandwich from scratch. I know it’s supposed be crusty bread but the inside tastes dry and old. I don’t recommend this shop.

When you are looking for a Pho restaurant off the beaten path in Concord, Ontario then stop in at Pho Anh Tu for a warm, flavourful and satisfying meal that is sure to draw you back over and over again.

Each dish comes to the table piping hot and full of aromas that tease the hungry stomach and are ready to be consumed toot sweet (tout de suite). Meals are authentic and come with all the regular add-ons - fish sauce, pickled radish/carrot, Maggie sauce, small soup (extra charge) to name a few. I love fresh, flavourful and hot food and this is exactly what to expect.

Service is always warm and welcoming - makes you feel like you have arrived home with all the right people attending to the right tasks. After just a few visits they had my regular order memorized and I noticed the same value-add with other patrons. Tables and the restaurant area are always kept spotlessly clean.

I have to mention the hot brewed tea brought to the table as soon as one sits down with classical music playing in the background and all the lovely greenery in the restaurant that adds a lovely touch to the eating experience.
Delicious Vietnamese sandwich shop.. ingredients are fresh, lots of ingredients, the prices are in credible. Feb 2023, chicken or pork sandwich is $6 including tax. Highly recommended. I eat here once or twice a week.

I eat here every 2 to 3 weeks, sometimes 2x a week. Delicious sandwiches and I credible affordable prices. Highly recommend.
Best Bun Bo Hue (Hue style spicy noodle) in Vaughan. Never forget the authentic soup. Beef and pork were high quality.
The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly as their name.

Highly recommend #1000 "Combined 7 Types of Beef on the Dish." You will appreciate its variety and taste. Although it is pricey, it is worthy of trying because it may have become a lost art. It is rarely available in the Greater Toronto Area. (This may be also the case in Vancouver. It was found available long time ago in Lethbridge, Alberta)!

Nice beef is used. The texture is rich. The special sauce is also nicely prepared, though some customers may find it too strong.

The attendants are very friendly.

Food was ok. We had two Phos, one beef one shrimp… but the shrimp Pho didn’t come in traditional Pho broth… it was weird but not bad tasting. Kids had the chicken teriyaki. Nothing special, chicken was bland.

We were shopping at Vaughan Mills and found this authentic Vietnamese restaurant nearby. It was late in the afternoon and very few were at the restaurant. We ordered a special rare beef pho with beef balls, a Bánh xèo (the pancake was crispy), a grilled pork / shrimp on sugar cane bun, spring rolls and a iced Vietnamese coffee. All the dishes ordered were very tasty with quality meat, generous portions. The coffee was the best I had at similar type restaurants. I would have rated it 5* if not for the mistake they made on the bill, a hand written bill as $95 but was supposed to be $59. We almost paid the wrong amount if my husband did not sound the alarm that the amount charged was not reasonable giving what we ordered and checked the bill. I hope this was just a stand alone mistake and we will give it another try and return for the food next time we are over at this side of the city.
Their sandwiches are delicious but their service needs some serious work. The prices have gone up to $4 a sandwich which is still pretty decent but they only accept cash.

I would go back for the catfish in tamarind soup! It was very flavorful and would go back to get this dish. I also liked the spring rolls and pork meatballs. The house special pho and lemongrass chicken wasn't anything different. Server was really kind and food came fast with good presentation.

The food is not hot enough, portions were so bad, my mom got a small I got a medium pho and yet my pho amount was the same amount as a small. The soup was only luke warm, the restaurant had over half of their lights off, the meat portion was so little I only had two meat pieces. The soup was also so bad that I would rather drink the cold tea then the soup. The service however, was good and food arrived quick. I had the spring rolls and it was okay.

Located in the plaza area outside Vaughan Mills close to the Chuck E Cheese side.

Nice staff. Extensive menu. Decent decor. Lots of seating.

The soup base for the pho is oily. The meat in the rice dish is on the small side. The rolls with shrimp are good. Overall only ok.

Here is my experience:

Great Vietnamese food!

Quality: The is always spot on and hot! We ordered the Shrimp rolls, Honey Sriracha wings, Spicy Basil chicken and Chicken Pho! All the menu items we ordered were very flavourful.

Service: The owner and staff are very courteous and friendly. The food comes out pretty quick! You never have to wait long.

Cleanliness: Clean bathrooms and dining area. Really well kept.

I would recommend this place!
There are apparently days when some who follow Buddhist faith restrict to vegetarian meals. And lucky for our guest, Tinh Tam Trai happened to be a vegetarian restaurant serving Asian noodle soups conveniently located right by Vaughan Mills. There's not many such places around which probably helps to explain their positive reviews. Best way I can characterize this place is QUIRKY!

Located in a busy plaza, it's hard to miss their bright yellow signage. Upon entering, the first thing that I noticed was the decor, or the surprising lack thereof... still the place was quite packed at lunchtime. Staff was slow to offer us the highchair so we helped ourselves to it. Their affordable menu included a variety of dishes and drinks similar to other Vietnamese restaurants but with a vegetarian twist.

The house-special Imitation Duck Egg Noodle Soup was topped with a heaping portion of soy-based mock meat w/ mushroom filling. Smooth herbal taste and soft egg noodles. Similarly Imitation Wonton Egg Noodle Soup hit the mark except the gluten fishcakes & side of fried soy wonton balls were a bit much to finish. Bun Hue Chay, their version of the hot & spicy Hue-style noodle soup, was well-seasoned too. We also tried sticky rice filled with mung beans which tasted like salty mochi balls. Fine for vegetarian, but if you're a carnivore, it's quite a glutton for punishment. How we missed savoury meat after just one meal!

Back to the quirkiness: a bit strange that the owner initially claimed there was no sticky rice on the menu when serving our noodles. He later prepared it after reviewing our order, by which time we were nearly full. More weird was at checkout I paid with a $100 bill, and was given change including the same bill which I informed the inattentive cashier.

It wasn’t the best I have ever had. The chicken in the Pho soup was so bad I had to pick a lot of it out. It has the skin on it and it was a brownish grey colour. A lot of fat. The flavour of the soup was good other than that. Curry was alright and so were spring rolls. I wouldn’t recommend going here or take friends but I may stop in again. Staff member who helped us was friendly.
