I went for the first time today and the staff was super friendly and recommenmded I try the komi house pork. I also grabbed a couple sausage rolls and an iced coffee. The komi house pork was really delicious and savory, chef's kiss! The rolls were pretty great as well but the sandwich is where it's at. Iced coffee was amazing, honestly might be my favourite now. Highly recommend! Definitely try this place out :)

Both the pork vermicelli and bbq beef on rice were amazing. Made fresh and with care. Will be getting the beef on rice with egg next time for sure!
Will be back to try the sandwich (his signature), but was not in the mood for that today.
Oh, can't forget the tapioca milk. It was awesome and he took his time making it.

This cozy shop offers some of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! They have an amazing vegetarian option and if you love your protein, their veal, and chicken sandwich is great for the price and size, and the flavours melt in your mouth. All of the sandwiches are price-friendly, and very yummy!
I took my team here on two occasions and they loved the grilled sandwich 🥪 options for lunch. Theres a mix of fresh salads, grilled paninis and wraps to choose from. We grabbed some delicious wraps and sat down to eat. The vibe inside feels like a European café with jazzy elevator music. Highly recommend checking them out for lunch during the weekdays if you're working in Liberty Village and need a fast & healthy lunch spot.
Ordered on UberEats and forgot to add sauce on the side. When I called them the guy who answered was so good. Told me he would add sauce on the side and when I asked him if he could charge me through the app so that I could pay for it he said “no worries it’s on us” this is why I continue to order from them and the food is outstanding!
The spicy bomba fried chicken I had it in a regular size and the meat and bomba sauce was very tasty the sandwich bun itself was a little cold I would've prefer it toasted or warmed up but none the less here's why I'm giving this a 2 star

Doordash and in store cost $14.47. Keep in mind both of these apps are at the clinton location. I already reported to ritual about this charge and emailed this establishment about the situation and hopefully it gets sorted out for me.
Again either call in to pick up or use a different app I don't know why they claim to have a "fair price" in the neighborhood, even if they are trying to cut out the ritual's commission fee it's way beyond the 10-15% threshold.

Be aware - you will likely get cold food if you order delivery. 4 times in a row the food has arrived entirely cold. They don't heat well due to fresh vegetables inside of the baguette. I tried to call and get help from them but they refused to cancel or offer to remake it, instead, I'm stuck paying for and waiting for cold food.
Merci Mon Ami is a small, more intimate dining establishment. They've got tacos, souvlaki, and sandwiches. They are tucked away in the Liberty Market Building so it is a bit hard to find but they have parking right out front. #ContestEntry
I love the variety of fresh ingredients at this Subway location. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the sandwiches are always made to my liking. It's my go-to spot for a quick and tasty meal!
They’re charging extra for crispy onions in store orders, while on the app it’s for free even you want extra crispy onions… upon asking why they are charging, they don’t have any proper, reasonable answer… taste of the items also keeps changing every time

I’ve been hyped to try this place for a long time, but never made it to the west side, so I was super excited when they announced they were opening on the east side.
I lined up opening day and was completely disappointed. The bread was straight up stale, like two day old stale. And the sandwich had so much vinegar it was literally all I could taste.

A great deli sandwich! There is nothing that I can really complain about this place but I guess with the hype that its been getting I was expecting something amazing but it was more along the lines of a 3.5/5 for me, especially for an $18. While it didn't quite reach the level of amazing that I was anticipating I can't deny that it's a solid deli sub. If you're in the mood for a satisfying sandwich, this place is still worth a visit.
Great little spot, very glad to have found it. Was greeted by a warm hello as soon as I entered. Tried the Bulgogi Club Sandwich, and it was delicious. If you are in the neighbourhood I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite. Will definitely be back.
If you want an elevated deli sandwich, come here 😋 Service was slow, took a while to make our meal. I felt like it was not enough deli meat on it but, still delicious had a lot of layers of flavour, like presto, and pepper spread. Doesn’t compare to a regular deli sandwich because it’s very different, but delicious in its own way😋
This is one of my go-to breakfast/lunch spots. It's local and family owned by a very friendly, sweet couple who really put care into the food. They make a variety of classic sandwiches and also some Korean dishes. My regular order is the Kimchi sandwich - it comes with kimchi, egg, cheese and tomato. It's always fresh and hits the spot for breakfast. There's a couple tables so you can sit in but I always get takeout.

I’m a big fan of Lambo’s so I was really happy to see that they’ve opened a location in the East end! I got the Classic Combo and Turkey Bacon Club.
The sandwiches were tasty and filling but they had way too much sauce. I’m not sure if I just got unlucky but both my sandwiches were soaked through, very messy and way too saucy. All else considered though, it was still a good sandwich.

Great sandwich and friendly staff. Delicious and high quality ingredients. I’d suggest ordering ahead because this place is busy! My order was ready on time and was a knockout.
One of the BEST subs I’ve eaten. Everything tasted so fresh, the pesto was *chefs kiss*. As much as I wanted to devour the second half, after eating the first half I was so full. This is the “Italian trio”. It has a kick to it, but nothing unbearable. Super delicious. Cannot wait to try the other varieties !
This place is our favourite Portuegese tart spot in town, we never pass by without getting fresh Portuegese tarts from here. We recently tried their Creme Brule, and it was just AMAZING!!!

I’ve been a customer for 45 years. I arrived today to purchase veal on a bun and saw the ownership had changed. While I waited I reminisced with my friend about my childhood experiences…. I was feeling sad because the smell was no longer there. I remember that dad would buy 10-15 at a time to bring back to St. Catharines and the owner would give him olives and cacciatore for free…
My order was ready just as the owner arrived, he packed it up, brought it to me with a smile and said wait— walked over to the cooler and handed me a container of olives- he said- for you, you can’t eat these without the olives. It brought back so many memories- as soon as I arrived at the hotel and took a bite- the memories came flooding back! Same quality- the only difference is they use roasted red peppers instead of sweet peppers cooked in the sauce- slight flavour change but the quality was bang on!
I think it’s important for people taking over long standing businesses to try and keep it as it was! Some people try to make improvements and add so many other things to the simple long standing menu that worked!!

So disappointed. I lived on their veal sandwiches for years, visited Toronto after 2 decades and had one yesterday. Not the same as they used to be, nowhere near. California Sandwiches is much better (the best). Plus, the stairwell down to the restroom can't accommodate anyone with even a mild disability (not to code).
The best sandwiches by far and now in Leslieville!!! The east side of Toronto now have Lambo’s and that is awesome news!!

I am lying here at St. Michaels Hospital. My wife and daughter who are staying in Toronto close by went yesterday to see if they can find a place with some good food to substitute the hospital cuisine. They brought me back some Tom Yum soup . Wow is all I can say. My family told me about the incredible service and friendly staff. Today they went again and brought me back a small Tom Yum Soup and a super salad wrap. I had the soup earlier and saved the wrap. I just woke up and despite the somewhat intimidating size of the wrap started eating it. What happened in my mouth in terms of flavour and taste is hard to describe. I ate the whole thing because I could not stop. This by far the best wrap I have ever eaten and is quite possibly the best wrap on earth. What the Antibiotics and excellent care I receive at St.Mikes can’t do this wrap will do. I can’t wait to get heal and meet the owners myself. God this wrap made me emotional. Thank you super salad
Food is so good, the butternut squash soup and roast beef sandwich is amazing! The staff were so lovely, would go back here again for a good healthy lunch!
We ordered the coconut cake with lemon curd. It was so delicious! The cake was moist, the curd was bright, and the icing was not too sweet. Sometimes cakes have too much icing but here it was just right. The process was also super easy as well. We will be ordering for our next special occasion.

I always order big catered lunches for work meetings from AAamazing Salads. They have the most delicious wraps, beautifully presented lunch boxes and incredible service. They are always reliable and taste delicious. It is always a crowd pleaser when I order from here!

Then the menu, MAMA MIA. Perfection, no nonsense weird guy toppings; just proper classic Italian sandwiches elevated by a chef who respects the Sub. Go for the mortadella. Go for the Turkey pesto. Go for the Italian. YOU AINT MISSIN, THEY ALL HITTTIN MY BOY. Get one for later, you won’t regret it.

The food here is expensive but it is AMAZING. The souvlaki pita is incredible. I also had the burger one week, and it may have been the best burger in the city. Even the salad and fries are done well. Highly recommend this place
Do the employees know what toppings are what, did a pick up order and everything is wrong, ask for green peppers ,get red onions, ask non toasted, get toasted like how hard is it to get staff that can READ AN ORDER TICKET!! Do better Subway
This place was recommended to me for my lunch breaks as part of a business trip in Toronto and I must say this is a fantastic place where to have a healthy and tasty lunch!

Great spot for OG Italian style subs. I wish the protein portions were a little bit bigger as some of the sandwiches felt like eating salad in a bun. Taste wise the Italian trio was the best and had the most flavor and interesting ingredients.
This place is seriously the best!! The people who work here might honestly be the nicest people in all of Toronto! They have become my friends and always remember my usual order. These guys work SO HARD to produce a product that is fresh, vibrant, consistent, and most important of all, delicious! As a Vegetarian I take the quality of my produce seriously and have never once had an issue with slimy or wilted greens or veg that is less than immaculate. I've told all my friends about here for good reason! They do catering too! Love love love this place! Try it out, you won't regret it!
As they were setting up for the Jazz Festival, the place was busy getting prep up. We ordered 4 of their signature chai teas which was specially prepared by crushing ginger and other spices. As well as the teas, we got two Portuguese custard tarts. I also decided to try a vegan cookie consisting of banana and some flak seeds and it tasted like a granola cookie. This is a great shop owned by a friendly couple. They also do sandwiches and cup cakes too.
In my opinion, this is the best salad/bowl place in the city! The ingredients are so fresh and the buddha bowl is my favourite! Not to mention the most delicious balsamic vinaigrette 🤤 that you can also purchase to take it home! I have ordered their catering services for our office multiple times and they never disappoint! Eva and her family are so kind and loving! Highly recommend this place!
Needed to hit up this joint before my flight. First time here. Pretty great. Ordering online for pickup was breezy. Truly will be back often when visiting Toronto. Nice corner, vibrant colors, can't miss it. Got the Trio consisting of capicollo, mortadella and prosciutto along with roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, pickled red onions, arugula, pesto and Calabrian chili blend. Excellent!!! Sorry not sorry about the repetitive photos. It's just so beautiful.

They mentioned it’s very normal, hard to clean all the cabbage and they had done their best.
I gets it is hard to be perfect sometimes, especially when it’s natural & fresh veggies. But I felt their attitude regarding this issue has not been very satisfying. 1. They’ve already accepted the fact nothing more can be done and will let the issue go, no more effort will be put in to change it, and 2. They were reluctantly offer to return the charge for the salad, I didn’t accept the return as I’ve already finished the salad. But I felt they were not really happy to offer it, not trying to make up for my experience, and not feeling bad at all. It’s more like trying to do what have to do to avoid troubles. I didn’t even hear one apology during the whole conversation.
Thus, I don’t feel very comfortable to come to this store again for the salad. Kinda afraid to have another lady bug that I didn’t find and what if I’ve ate and chew it? And also a little uncomfortable with the service.

Great little sandwich spot in liberty village. Used to work above them and would have lunch several times a week here. The people that work here are amazingly friendly and their food is delicious!
I discovered this place only two months ago and since I have twice per week lunch here. They have a very good variety of salads and bowls. Everything is fresh and looks amazing. The place can get sometimes busy but if you wait a little you will not regret. The buisness is family operated and they put a lot of work, so please be kind and patient, they are really nice. I love the Cobb and the queen salad. The keto options are great too. Recently we tried a veggie wrap with Thai sauce,my husband was amazed by the flavour combinations. The mango smoothie remains my favourite.
My new favourite spot for sandwiches! The ingredients were exceptionally fresh and the portion was definitely worth the price. I got the Italian Trio and it was delicious. The arugula pairs very nicely with the meats and spicy flavours. The service was great too. I will be returning to try new flavours!
Ordered a Sherif Labrador cake for my baby's 1st birthday. And everyone loved it! Tasted great and I was very impressed by the decor. It's not too sweet for babies to eat either which is good for kids. 👍
Ive gone to Komi a few times and it does not disappoint. I am not expecting a wow factor but meat, rice ratio is excellent for the price. Its tasty and solid enough to enjoy especially for a quick meal. Portions are great. Location is a clean environment and very minimalist. Service is fast enough when ordering for pick up. Its a great fast food on the Danforth.
Sandwiches were pretty good. Had the classic combo, Italian trio, turkey pesto and mortadella. All filled to the brim with fresh ingredients and tasted great! Would have liked a bit less of the pickled veg in the classic combo but the mortadella was the standout. I’ll be back to try the other flavours
Pretty good chicken souvlaki with a tasty quinoa salad on the side. Lovely patio. Though it took a really long time to order considering it was 1pm on a Wednesday... Also overpriced for the portion.
Always a treat to stop by Frosted Flavors! The owners are very nice and welcoming. We had our son's birthday cake custom ordered and it turned out so cute! The chocolate raspberry cake inside was moist and just the right amount of sweetness. So happy to have this little gem in our neighborhood!
Got the beef bulgogi club sandwich, it was excellent. The family run restaurant is very friendly and they are extremely welcoming. They validated my order with showings a picture of the item from a book of menu items which was nice.
Good place for healthy soups(They serve salads as well). I had their chicken soup with rice- you can tell from that taste that the food is healthy. The people there are real friendly. I saw many take out orders being prepared while I was trying their soup. Seating for twos available.
Walked in here randomly, the nicest people greeted me and helped me through the menu. They were quick with getting me my takeaway and the food was delicious! (Chicken Caesar salad and Tofu/veggie panini) Will be going back for sure
I am guessing this restaurant has watered down their seasonings and spices to suit the community because the food was very bland and overpriced for a fast food place. Lots of cabbage in the dish. The staff are very friendly but that’s about it. May other fast food spots in the area that provide a lot more food with taste for cheaper price.
Purchased a chocolate and vanilla cupcake. While eating the chocolate cupcake I found a staple inside. My initial thought was that it was just a really sharp sprinkle so I kept trying to chew it, finally realizing that it was a staple. How a bakery gets accidental staples in their batter, I have no idea! With the combination of a basic tasting cupcake and almost cutting my lip on a staple, I stand by my 1 star rating.
I came here for the first time today. Been looking for a place in Toronto to help recreate my love for Vietnam. I spent 3 weeks touring the country in 2014. The food was amazing there.
The pork banh mi was amazing. The bread was soft but crunchy. The filling was well spread out and didn't make the bread soggy. The bread held its shape as I walked and ate my banh mi on the way home. I'd come back and try a few more items on the menu.

Very friendly owners! The spicy chicken soup was served piping hot, and stayed hot until the last slurp. Nice taste and a generous amount of chicken. Everything you would want in a soup. Their sandwiches seem popular would try next time.
The guy I bought the foot long sandwich on Feb 15, 2023, he took my money with his gloves on and went to give me the change in the cash register, he still has gloves on and when it's time to put the ingredients on my sandwich, he use the same gloves on the food which he took my money and give me change with. It is so disgusting, money is very dirty and has thousands or million of bacteria, some can be deadly. If I get food poison, I will sue this location and they can go bankrupt, so if you are the owner, tell your employees to change gloves if he collect the money and give change to customers if he is to prepare the sandwich afterwards. There were two guys working there. The other guy was at the soda, drinks stand and busy doing his thing and talking to the guy who is serving me. Either one person should collect the money and one person should prepare the sandwich.
It's been awhile since I've been back here, and now I know why. Got the eggplant parm sandwich. Good size, but the bread was a little old and the eggplant greasy. I like that all the toppings are included though and they don't nickle-and-dime. Service was very friendly and professional. The neighbourhood is still old school but the inside no longer has that charm I remember it to have.
I live nearby and never tried, decided to get it today last minute because I was hungry and the salad did not disappoint. I think I will start going here everyday now. It’s so delicious. I got the chicken Caesar salad but I want to try all of the other salads next time I go

WOW JUST WOW! One of the most delicious chicken souvlaki sandwiches I have ever had. Fresh ingredients with the perfect recipes and the staff is most welcoming.
Ordered 3 big subway paid over 40$, all the subway had 5% sauces even though we added 3 sauces. Also, the vegetables were missing. Bad experience.
Got the Komi House Pork Sandwich, this my 3rd time back, very delicious and very consistent with everything that goes into the sandwich.

I’m a subway footlong lover but what I had today is totally unbelievable. I don’t usually put bad reviews but then this is just unacceptable. Gave this branch a try for the first time but I guess it will be my first and last. White italian bread was hard. Bought just now a foot long steak and cheese, and 2 side kicks honey mustard ham. The footlong bread was so hard and it took me about 5-7 seconds before I can have each bite because of the breath that is supposed to be soft. Maybe the bread is old or overcooked. Meat on the footlong was placed uneven because I had it cut in half and seems like the half side of the footlong that I got is that the meat that was placed was just like a usual size of 1 tablespoonful. Tasted like I ordered a footlong full of veggie than a supposed to be footlong steak and cheese. I should have just gone ordering a vegetarian option if I knew that the guy will not put enough meat. Not worth the money I spent.
Super excited to have a banh mi in the area, and it didn’t disappoint! The honey garlic chicken sandwich and Komi house style pork tasted great and fresh! The sandwiches had generous amounts of meat inside which made every bite.

Great little spot. $9-$11 price was pretty reasonable for the banh mi and the serving size was good. Food tastes great and the spicy sauce was actually spicy which was nice. We tried the Komi House Style Pork and the Drunken Chicken sandwich, both were great but not a huge difference in taste other than chicken vs pork so I would pick the cheaper pork option if I came again. Their digital menu also scrolls through with pictures of all their drinks which is a nice touch.
Very excited to have Komi in the neighbourhood! We went for the grand opening and ordered a beef and chicken sandwich.
Inside is so clean and organized. The sandwiches were incredibly fresh. The soft bread with the warm filling and cold veggies were very tasty! Quite flavourful and filling.

Komi offers the standard Vietnamese hits (banh mi, vermicelli, spring rolls) along with bubble tea. While fairly typical, it executes them well.
Stopped by their first week and got:
- Honey Garlic Chicken Banh Mi: Loved this. The banh mi was how I like it - chewy throughout and a bit crispy on the edges. The chicken was sweet-ish with the honey, and the veggies were generous and nicely pickle-y. Got this with sweet thai sauce and it added to the overall pleasant sweetness of the sandwich.
- Asian BBQ Beef Vermicelli with additional spring roll: A bit disappointing. While I liked the bbq flavour of the beef, it was a bit inconsistently cooked (some pieces were perfect, some were tough). Thought the vermicelli noodles and spring roll were standard (not bad but also not great).
- Passion Fruit BBT with Lychee Jelly: Generous on the jelly. Also seemed to have bits of passion fruit which I liked.
- Iced Vietnamese Coffee: Strong and sweet like it should be.
Komi offers dine-in and takeout. Space is small yet maximized and clean. While service is mainly order-at-the-counter, it's done efficiently and with a smile. A good addition to the neighborhood.

Walked by this cute little shop and decided to stop by. So glad that I did! I ordered the Masala Chai, and it was so delicious, took me right back to India and the chais I’ve had there. If you want authentic Indian Chai, you must come here. It was so flavourful, just enough spice and deliciously milky. I also had a creme brûlée that was freshly made and also delicious. Service was great. I would definitely come back for more chai and to try out their other snacks.
What a wonderful experience. We ordered a cake and cupcakes to celebrate our new baby's 100 days celebration. My wanted an "under the sea" theme and they absolutely nailed it! The cake was both beautiful and delicious.
When I arrived to pick up the cake they made me a complimentary iced coffee while I waited. They really go above and beyond.

This is far and away my favourite lunch spot in the downtown core when I’m looking for a quick and healthy lunch. I get 95% of my lunches here. My go-to is a large custom salad with lots of vegetables, chicken, seeds, some goat cheese, an egg, and balsamic dressing. The portions are always perfect, and the service is excellent. Try them out.
My favorite lunch place in the PATH. The staff are friendly and helpful and the ritual app makes ordering easy. I love the Turkey sandwich with a side salad. Always get my order quickly and it's always made perfectly
It's crazy that I haven't written a review yet. I literally eat here 3-5 days/week. The staff is incredibly friendly and they make the food with care. I usually do a custom salad or a custom wrap with an upgraded salad. The portion sizes are perfect and everything is delicious! When I get my lunch today, I will update with a photo :)

We ordered two pork Banh Mi, with paté, and different hot sauces. My pal ordered his with the Habanero, but there wasn't a spice to be found. Only sweet - my guess is someone missed it, since it was on the receipt.
Excellent pork! Saucy, sweet - one of the best I've eaten. The bun was a little too soft though - more like a Portuguese bun than a crusty French one.

I came to get some refreshments. I ordered the Mango green tea, and you can customize the level of the sweetness and ice. I asked for regular sweetness and less ice and the drink was too sweet. And I’m the kind of person that would drink condensed milk and that was too sweet for me. So if you’re not a fan of that kind of stuff make sure to ask for less sugar.

I have been going to Merci Mon Ami for lunch for years and my work use them for catering when we have office events/visitors. I have to say their food has never been disappointing... always using fresh local ingredients and simply delicious! Their daily specials are amazing too - Wamburger Wednesday (see image) might be my favourite. Oh wait... and Souvlaki Thursday!
Update: tried the Golden Pork Sandwich today and it was excellent! The pork is marinated in honey and soya before grilling and has a lovely sweet/savory taste.

The service was quick. I ordered through ritual and the order was ready when I got there. However, the salad was not great. I got the Asian chicken salad and the flavour was so bland. It was lacking dreasing for sure. This was something I feel like I could have made at home.
Service was very good. Totally accomodated my no dairy requirement. Seating at communal tables very limited. Cold roast beef that came straight out of a package on a hard banquette with fries or salad was a disappointment. Special was hamburger with fries or salad. Had to pass on the hamburger as there was cheese inside the burger mix.
I know they're only available for a limited time, but the $4 Mighty Melts is probably the best lunch deal around. Don't miss out - try one before they're gone!

Amazing bowls, customer service and quality of ingredients. This gem of a healthy eatery is tucked away in Kensington and definitely worth paying a visit to. The bowls we had were large and filling with a warm quinoa base. Shop owner and bowl maker were very friendly, super quick and efficient service. The place is quite small so it’s a hit-and-a-miss dining in but don’t let this deter you from checking this place out! Will not disappoint.
