All gold and diamonds. Lots of shops and also lots of street vendors trying to sell you fake designer watches, bags, clothes and shoes. Recommended station is Al Ras Metro station which is much nearer the Gold Souk Metro station.

Vibrant colours & smells as soon as you enter. The traders are all very keen to gain your business & keen to entice you into their shop, where they will give you some background to the numerous spices , let you smell them & even taste them. An unforgettable experience!

One of the best perfumes souk in the world. You will find so many shops wher you can find many products that you like. Once you entered the area, the smell will take you to the heaven.

Have to do a bit of haggling, that's a must!!, but worth it to get very fresh fish. Then off to the back to have the fish cleaned (if you want them to do it, but you pay for that). And right next door, a little shop with fresh fruit and herbs at great prices!

There are tens of shops there with cheap and affordable items, including spices, clothes (traditional), souvenirs, toys, restaurants. In addition to that, there is a MOSQUE, TEMPLE, and Al Fahidi Historical Fort in the nearby area.
You can find AED 1 transportation to the other bank of this water channel using ABRA or FAIRY (Boat/Yacht) in many ports.
The place is amazing especially during the sunset and the early night.

The Dubai Spice Souk is fun to visit. However, the vendors are aggressive in trying to sell their spices, and prices are sky high. I would recommend to just walk around and buy your spices in a normal supermarket. It also gets crowded in some places.

Meena Bazaar in Dubai is a bustling shopping district where you can find a diverse range of goods, from traditional textiles and Jewelry to modern fashion and electronics Its a cheap market and offers cheap quality stuff . Its worth a visit if cheap stuff is what you are after.

We as a resident must visit these places at least once in a year as many things you can buy from these bazaars cheaper then other markets. Poor traffic conditions, Public isn’t bother crossing roads with designated lanes, parking is an issue. Sometimes you doubt that you’re not in dubai or emirates.

I’m not a fan of souks. Walking along the passages looking at the spices and wares was nice though every single store was hounding us to buy and look. Detracted from the experience since I wanted to look around first.

A lot of the reviewers here are confused between The Gold Center and the Gold Souk. The Gold Center is a indoor mall with many shops selling gold with zero making fees. It's located just outside the Gold Souk Gate 3. It's a good place to come if you don't want fancy designs that have big, usually 15-30%, making fees.

Y oh will find yourself already in the area visiting the gold soul, so this is just about there, very nice to see all the spices and all the regular textil and gift shops. Here sellers are a bit much pushed that at the gold souk, and I know is the way this places work, and it is a great experience, don’t personal work for me. But worth the visit

A MUST Visit for cheap / reasonable price shopping for souvenirs, perfumes, and many more things. Bon Ton is one of the shops you should visit. You can easily spend a few days here if you want since this is a huge market with hundreds of shops. Gold shops are also located here. There are so many fast food restaurants in the area, as well. This is in the old Dubai area, so don't expect anything fancy like the new Dubai area, but you will enjoy it. The bathrooms were hard to find and were not clean, nor did they have tissue paper.

This place is great for buying souvenirs or abayas, there’s a spice souk, a gold souk, fabric souk… everyone gives different prices and you can haggle to get better ones. It’s very big and you can cross the creek por 1 AED, it’s very relaxing, especially if you take the boat at night. If you get tired you can try different ice creams around or sit on the benches.

One of the best things is its basement parking which is a big relief in a highly crowded area.

They are insane in designs. Incredible and unbelievable designs they have. They do charge making charges but you can bargain over that, They will sweetly negotiate. The sales person was really interesting. Will definitely shop again whenever we will visit dubai again.

Frankly it's terrible place. Nothing really interesting is here, just heaps from made in China clothes and other souvenirs.

Items doesn't have prices so it is hard to compre one stand with another. Sellers are pushy, when you decide to let him show you stuff and you politely say thank you, but it's too much or something like that - he will become amgry.

There are also many guys who jump out of nowhere and offer you electronic equipment, modern fashion brands clothes or watches.

This market also doesn't have anything connected with a real local bazaar for natives. There are no local places to eat something or taste some food.

If you want to admire products, buy souvenirs, spent pleasent time - definetly not there. You should rather go one two streets ahead and find some quiter place.

We bought two bandamas and one kashmir scarf. As I mention before - there were no prices to compare. We had to bargain with seller for a few minutes and it was terrible.
In the end we paid something around 25 aed per one item which I think od not so big price difference in compare with other places or Amazon. But next time I would definetly but it in other place.

This place is a ‘must visit’. Its located near the creek with an amazing view and you can take a one dhiram abra (boat) to shuttle back and forth to the other souks.

Since it’s a touristy area the prices are higher so you might have to haggle for something that you really like.

Amazing place for Pure Gold & Diamonds lovers. In this place their are many gold shops but honestly speaking don't go to an Indian shop keeper shops as they keeps mix golds, rather goes to Emirati's shops, what they will show you that they will give you, as well as they are very friendly and down to the earth people as compare to many Indian's. I'll share some pictures of Emirati shops try to do shopping from there, one more thing in this Gold souk you'll find many street crooks, beware from them by offering you different services, whatever the services you require go by yourself to the shop try not to deal any services from them.

Great selection of fresh fish and the staff were knowledgeable about taste, texture and cooking method but prices are on the expensive side and they don’t like hagglers! In the building next door there is a great service for cleaning the fish for an extra charge.

You just go to the fish market, choose your fish and you can either take the fish home or go to the back where they nicely prepare the fish for you just the way you want it.

This is a nice small market “souq” to visit while in Dubai, I gave it one less star as I thought it would be bigger than it was. It’s nice to get souvenirs on the cheap and also lots of ethnic south Asian and middle eastern mix of jewellery, decorations, clothes, spices, etc. There are lots of nice restaurants around for eating as well. Once you’re done wandering around the market you can grand a boat and take a ride in the creek, there are lots of boats available at the shore and at very reasonable prices. Rule of thumb here is too make sure to bargain! Don’t accept the first price, good luck and enjoy!
