WOW. This is the best South European Restaurant (maybe the best Restaurant) that I have been to in NYC. Authentic Albanian cuisines, great ambience, all in all fantastic experience. Our server, Bobian, was the best and very hospitable, you will not regret your experience at Dua Kafe.
Simply delicious on everything, highly recommended for special occasions🙏🧿💖 Little details that make all the difference of the world: the guy that brings, to start with, the precious greek extra virgin olive oil and the little pot with basil.. very well done🙌

Great place for German cuisine and beer lovers with tasty food, decent portions, and good service. Everything I’ve tried was tasty. Especially Beef Sliders were absolutely amazing, juicy, and flavorful.
I also had Wurst Sampler Platter which came with 5 different sausages, potato, cabbage, and sauerkraut and it was great. Bierhaus Pretzel was very soft, warm, and freshly baked. Haus Chicken Wings were tender but a bit spicy for me.
They have screens to watch sports games. Also a live band or some German music playing background.
Lovely restaurant with italian food and music! Real taste of Italy in New york! Food was great, price good for the day's special.

Tried casa bella for lunch, the restaurant is located on the heart of little Italy. The food was good, the service was not the best, prices are pricey but is new york( $18 for an ok glass of sangria 😑) and the restaurant is nice inside and well located. The have a lunch special but very limited and the dessert that was included was a joke.

This restaurant is the kind of places that you would never regret dining there. Amazing food with an even better owner. Byrek combo was aromatic and crunchy, liked the beef one the most. Lamb chops tasted so good and juicy too. Qebapa a must order too, the cream sauce did not disappoint. Highly recommend getting the baked plums ice cream as well.

I’m not Albanian hence can’t speak for authenticity but the foods so delicious that it doesn’t matter. Shout out to the boss man and his friend who treated us a round of shots 😄🙌
What can I possibly say that hasn’t been said 1000 times before about Milos? An absolutely incredible restaurant from beginning to end. The food is simple and impeccable and the technique is out of this world. Everything is perfection. The staff are professional and keep just the right amount of distance. The space is gorgeous and airy, but it does get crowded and loud as to be expected but again last night was one of the best meals I’ve had in years.

The food was fine, but not exceptionally good. Drinks rather expensive. The cheapest white wine costs 10€. The price is also only mentioned on request. Service good. 20% tip on the bill is unfortunately too much! That annoyed us in the end. Almost $100 for a simple dinner in a rustic atmosphere, without appetizers and dessert are too much even for Manhattan.

Amazing spot! So cozy, especially in the fall. Go for trivia on Mondays- it's about 2.5 hours, and has great prizes. We placed third and got a giant pretzel 🥨
Great place! As a fan of the TV series "sex and the city", it was nice and delicious to visit here.

A can’t go wrong choice for Italien dining. Love the mural indoor it’s a Italien map with engraved food in each corresponding region
I used to like this place. Today went with family of four. Among other starters ordered the mixed appetizer plater. Absolutely astounded by the absurdly small portions. Typically would just let it go and not return, but in this case was so obscenely small I need to share with everyone. If you can’t serve an honest dish it’s time to pack it up and go home. Unacceptable. Will never go again and definitely need to tell everyone in the neighborhood to avoid at all cost. Rip off plain and simple.
I should have taken a photo and show the whole world. Shameful.

Excellent lamb stew and huge portion so really ate as 2 meals. Large pieces of lamb, not spicy so you can pepper it if you wish. Large potato pancakes, left happy.

Amazing traditional Albanian food. Great vibe to this cozy location. And, the owner was so friendly and patient in explaining the restaurant, dishes. And, even recommended amazing spots to visit in Albania, complete with historical and geographical background.

Best Greek in New York!

This is my favorite Greek restaurant in New York City, hands down!
For those unfortunate enough to have stumbled into Eleni’s or Taverna Kyclades in the East Village, then a visit here should be medically prescribed in order to restore their love of all things Greek.
Everything on the menu is delicious - although the pork Souvlaki platter is my favorite - the food is well-priced and staff are excellent.
You will also note the presence of more seasoned New Yorkers at this restaurant, a sure sign that this is a place to be!
To The Greek Kitchen, please, never change!

NB: So far, they have also managed to keep out the soy-latte waving, AirPod wearing, Lulu Lemon or bust contingent. Bliss!

Excellent food and service!! It’s not our first time coming here, and this restaurant does not disappoint! Came with the family here for Labor Day weekend, and the wife and kids loved the pasta and fried calamari! If you happen to come by Little Italy, I would definitely recommend stopping by this place! Affordable prices for high quality dishes and service…that’s how you earn a hefty tip! Two thumbs up for Casa Bella🙌

Excellent service, great location, and great value on our meals. The night we decided to go to Casa Bella there was a special on an “appetizer and entree”. We came for chicken parm anyways, so this was a no brainer. I got the caprese salad which was fantastic. Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil. Delicious! The chicken parmesan was also worth remembering! Sauce was just right - not too spicy or sweet - and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Our server was also fantastic and very friendly. When in the city again, we’ll be back!

To be honest. I like the food here but it seems like I get bad service even when I spend a lot of money. I wouldn’t eat here again after being given poor quality some days and good others. Why give me a to go cheese blintz without sugar or the pleasantries like when I eat in the restaurant? Technically I was eating at the restaurant and thought it would be a delicious dessert for later but now it’s garbage. No respect or no standards lead to poor performance and reviews. Two reasons why not to come back and spend a lot of money: service or presentation. I was once a local customer but now I’m a negative review…hope you get better than I did. Go easy on the tip. It doesn’t increase the value of your experience at this place IMO.

I ventured to this establishment for a leisurely Sunday brunch, finding it to be pleasantly uncrowded. However, the limited waitstaff did necessitate a brief wait for seating, and the dish preparation took longer than anticipated.

Opting for the crispy pork knuckle, I was met with an overall delightful culinary experience. The pork skin showcased an exceptional crispness, harmoniously complementing the robust flavors of the meat, despite its generous thickness. The side sauerkraut, in my humble gastronomic opinion, was executed to perfection, boasting a delightful interplay of sweetness and tanginess that invigorated the palate.

The sweet and savory glaze, a masterful component, artfully balanced the dish's inherent richness. Regrettably, the portion of this delectable glaze proved rather diminutive, starkly contrasting with its portrayal on the menu. Upon inquiry, I learned that the establishment produces a limited quantity of this glaze to accompany each knuckle daily, with no option for additional purchase. It left me yearning for a more generous serving, as it plays a pivotal role in offsetting the pork's inherent richness.

Nonetheless, my overall experience was agreeable, further heightened by the charming German-themed decor that enveloped the ambiance.

I had a really good dining experience at this establishment. I went in with a friend and it was our first time there. Our serve Nicole was phenomenal. She took the time to explain the menu and the concept of the restaurant to us. She was very attentive and really made sure our dining experience was phenomenal. The food was really delicious as well, we had the fried artichokes which were super delicious. And the fusilli pesto which was also very good. Overall, great food and great service. I would literally just come back to have Nicole as a server again her energy and attentiveness were top notch.

Randomly ended up here for a Sunday lunch and we were one of just two parties in the space - so you definitely didn’t get the typical beer house atmosphere and for some reason service was still kind of slow despite how empty it was. That said, the food was a pleasant surprise! Hard to do pretzel and bratwurst wrong (both tasty) but I was most surprised by the crispy pork knuckle - flavorful, not too fatty, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Pairs super well with the side sauerkraut and pickled onions! Note the restaurant is on the second floor up a set of steep stairs (not sure if there was an elevator).

Wow! It had been some time, since I had such delicious grilled Greek seafood. Love the freshness, quality and taste of the seafood.

I recommend the oysters, salmon cooked to medium (to bring out the creaminess) and the grilled whole fish. The salmon was out of this world! Please order it as medium (never well done!) We came here twice during restaurant week!

The grilled octopus (needs to be softer and less charred) and grilled squid (needs more charred and more seasoning. Am not sure stuffing it woth cheese is a good idea. Why? Because you cant char it as well on the inside) were nice (4 out of 5) but i have tasted better at other Greek or Seafood places. The walnut cake is too sweet to be soaked in honey. Just a drizzle on the side of the place is adequate.

Terrible food. I read about the Chef before dining there w friends who live locally and thought the meal, particularly the seafood, would be spectacular. He should be ashamed to have his name associated with the poorly prepared dishes served. The crab cake-described as Gigantic but Tiny- was dry and tasteless, fish overcooked, mediocre veg dishes and the only things can recommend were the salad and chops. Perhaps things like Moussaka are better? Great atmosphere but that's not edible!

It's a nice Greek restaurant located on the UES. We ordered lamb with rice, pasta with shrimps, and calamari (see pictures). Although I like the lamb, the portions were kinda small. Also, my friend rated her pasta 2 out of 10.

Overall, the ambiance is good, but the food quality was not as good as we expected.
Cannot love this place more. Entertainment every night. So much fun. Warm, welcoming and delicious!
Potato dumplings in mushroom gravy is a must!

Really enjoyed the food. The lasagna was excellent!!! Alcoholic drinks are way overpriced ( I ordered a Coors and a Frangelico for $29 ) But the food is worth it. Good location in Little Italy and China town.
A wonderful piano player provides the background for this Russian Restaurant. Excellent service and a number of good choices from a menu of Russian cuisine makes for an enjoyable experience. The food, is not what it should be. The Beef Stroganoff, for example was served warm, not hot like it should have been. The restaurant is in a very good location for Broadway theater.
Food and drinks very thematic, authentic and delicious. This place has such a great energy. The food is absolutely stunning and very authentic, I felt like I was eating at Babushkas apartment.

Moon served us the whole night and what a spectacular man! Very attentive excellent chit chat and charisma. I’ll be back for sure

Hidden gem of the Upper West Side. Always have interesting wines, great beer, and a solid selection of European dishes. Baked oysters are by favorite hands down. Great burgers too.
The service was impeccable and the food followed suit. Very happy to have another nice open restaurant that I can visit often in the area and enjoy the ambiance, thank you to all staff, clearly the leadership at this restaurant was thoughtfully chosen. I had in particular the calamari and then a beautiful Filet Mignon cooked to perfection medium , and with amazing juices to flow out of every bite.

•Zeljanica - A delicious spinach pie made with phyllo dough, spinach, and feta. It was like a cloud of fluffy cheese!
•Cevapi - Flavorful sausages served with raw onions, simple but really good!
•Karadjordjeva - This was my favorite dish of the night.
Pork schnitzel rolled with ham and oozing with delicious kajmak cheese. Also the French fries it came with were amazing!
• Svinjska - Extremely tender braised pork shoulder with creamy mashed potatoes.
Drinks:
Kafana has a deep collection of wines from from countries that were previously part of Yugoslavia including Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, and Friuli, Italy (on the boarder of Slovenia). There are a lot of interesting older wines to choose from!
We started with the Simcic Sauvignon Blanc Opoka from 2006, skin-contact wine from Slovenia. The wine still had some of its original fruit flavors of juicy peaches and citrus, but there were a lot of interesting savory and tertiary flavors as well!
We also had to try a wine from the iconic Friuli producer Radikon. We got the 2020 Slatnik, a skin-contact wine made with 80% Chardonnay an 20% Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is made with about 14 days of skin contact, and is then aged for 1 year in barrel. It was delightfully aromatic and perfect with all of the delicious food!

Excellent place to grab some really tasty German food and to also get unique and hard to find German beers. My friend got a Hefe Weizen beer which was really tasty and I got some cherry liquor which was also delicious. The food also is super good. I had the pretzel (4/5) and the bratwurst and curry (5/5). The fries were cooked to perfection and the bratwurst was tender and packed full of flavor. The curry was also complex and added super well to the dish.

We got takeout- total disappointment.

The salad was just ingredients. No preparation. They were fresh, but they didn't even break up the feta. It was just a huge block.

The souvlaki was CRAZY DRY. HUGE DRY hunks of chicken. No sauce. Not even olive oil. No spice, nothing.

To top it all off, it was pricier than it should have been. Should have just gone to a halal stand - it would have been better. Avoid. Inside it looked popping though, so maybe just not a take out place.

My first time trying Serbian food and let me tell you it was delicious, I’m very picky about food but when it comes to try new restaurants i am very excited, every dish I had exceeded my expectations. Had some Orange wine from Slovenia. Definitely going to try more Serbian food.
They had some live music which was great, good music, good ambience, good service. The only thing I would recommend is the bathroom, wasn’t in the best condition but overall my experience was great. 10/10

This place had a really nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. The servers were very polite and went above and beyond. I loved the outdoor space and the lighting. The guy outside was pretty cool and made us laugh. As much as I loved this place and wanted to give it a 5 star rating, I had to give it 4. The food was good but that’s about it. We had the Pasta Verde and Ravioli. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either.

While the service was slow the staff was friendly and things started move after that. The traditional bread and cheese was good while the cevapi completed this fine lunch. Rounding it off was a glass of Prokupac, a red wine made from an indigenous grape from Serbia that was reminiscent of Pinot Noir with the sour cherry notes usually associated with Sangiovese.

The restaurant is cash only so be prepared to bring some.

Love the bar, prob my favorite hangout but it closes too early on Fri and Sat nights. Don't know why as they would still have a great business and make more $$$ by staying open later.
Loved the food and service. It's obvious they take a lot of pride in what they make and everything tastes like it was made with hand-picked ingredients. What a gem!

One of the last authentic restaurants in the city w/ amazing Serbian cuisine. On a Friday night, my friend and I were one of the few speaking English. My partner is Serbian and showed me this place, and it’s truly so special with amazing food & wines. The fish of the day (usually branzino), cevapi (meat sausages), sopska (Serbian Greek salad), and lepina- amazing. It’s now my favorite restaurant in the city, which says a lot, and the service is really great as well. Much love for Kafana.

Food was very tasty and the portions were large. We definitely got our money's worth. We had the chicken parmesan, sausage and peppers, shrimp alfredo, and salmon with a vodka sauce. The appetizers were also extremely delicious.
Started off on a pretty bad note.... We made a reservation 3 weeks before and was brought downstairs to be seated where it was 20% full and was shown to the worst table there, right next to the hallway to the bloody toilets! (See pic)
Immediately asked to be seated further inside the restaurant.
The table we finally got was a reasonable one but first gut feel was terrible.
The food we ordered was very fresh and succulent. In particular we enjoyed the scallops and the lobster pasta. Huge portions! The appetizers were good and there was a healthy selection of drinks. Desserts were also well done. Service was very good though the exception was really the first sitting of the table.

The restaurant quickly filled up so of you want a seat at this place, book early... And funny get the table next to the toilet!

Going during lunch time doesn't do it justice. Looking forward to trying it at night. Only one server during lunch which slows everything down. Great beer and good food. I don't think you can mess up German food too much. I would patronize again. Convenient location was a plus. Good for large groups.
I was a little hesitant to go as I'm not typically a fan of Polish food but it was delicious! The waitresses are nonstop but still give perfect customer service. This was the best chicken soup I’ve ever had. My mom loved their meat pierogis and matzo-ball soup. Only thing, the hallah was dry (I’m pretty sure it just needs more egg yolks). Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area.

Had an early drink at the bar after a matinee at City Center. Nice room, friendly bartender. Started to feel a little claustrophobic as pre-theatre diners started to fill the room. Maybe a little better traffic direction as people file in. Cocktails were decent. Had an olive plate to snack with the drinks.

Small elegant space. The wait for 2 people around 7pm was short. Food was delicious, and the staff was very kind.

Wow, this place is fantastisch! I hadn't even heard of it and we happened upon it for a quick dinner before a Yankees game. Everything is on the second floor, so you'll need to walk up a flight of stairs to be greeted by the Dirndl-clad hostess. The whole place is basically a big Bierhall with German-style seating (i.e. long wooden tables with benches) and a ton of themed decor. Even the music is what true German Bierhalls play, so they knew their stuff. There's an outdoor balcony overlooking 3rd avenue which is very neat and a corner for bands when they have live music, which I believe happens every week! We ordered a pretzel to start and a couple of schnitzels for entrees. The service was all extremely friendly and fast and the food was of course delicious, so I was sad we didn't have time for dessert before rushing off for the game. I can't wait to come back here with a group of friends, so be sure to look up if you ever pass by on 3rd and you just might see me waving from the balcony!

I love how unpretentious and authentic this place is! Both the ćevapčići and pljeskavica were great, the kajmak (an unpasteurised, soft cheese spread) on flat bread was fresh and made for a great starter. Service was quick, efficient and kind. Will return!

My husband and I both had a wonderful brunch experience at Yefsi Estiatorio. It is among the best Greek restaurants I’ve been to so far in NYC (including the ones in Astoria). The food is authentic and does not disappoint at all. I tried the Shrimp Santorini while my husband had the Chicken Sandwich (not just any chicken sandwich though! This was Greek style grilled chicken with tzatziki on a pita and Greek style fries with oregano). The mimosas were great and the service was outstanding! The bottomless brunch was a great experience and one day I hope to come here for dinner. Overall, 5 stars and highly recommended!

Absolutely unbelievable!!! Saganaki was delicious and rich. The pork Souvlaki was amazing...came with a side of tatziki.

Grilled pork kebabs come with a salad and rice, fries, or potatoes...to keep it low carb or carnivore stick with the meat!

So many great options on the menu for low carb, keto, or carnivore diets. One of the best meals I have had in a while! Highly recommend!!
Some of the rudest servers I’ve ever encountered. I work as a server as well and understand that days are long and customers can be grating but I’d never take it out on a guest.

Two stars because I loved the bottle we ordered and the outdoor seating is nice but that’s about it.

TL;DR: A lively atmosphere and good food, beer, and mixed drinks.

My companion and I chose this place to be our St. Patty’s Day hangout. We arrived before the late afternoon crowd and started with a couple of grapefruit Hefeweizens. They were a bit sweeter and less carbonated than versions I’ve had prior. We had one other beer, a stout, that was really good.

For food, we started with a big pretzel that was served with cheese and a mustard dip. The pretzel was soft and warm with the right amount of salt.

I selected the barbecue wings and Brussels sprouts from the appetizer menu and made them my entree. The Brussels were great and the wings were good too. I picked barbecue, but based on the bartender/server’s recommendation I’d get the buffalo wings next time.

I heard that the peach cocktail was very good, so I’ll have to try their mixed drinks on my next visit. Prices for cocktails averaged $15, which isn’t too bad and the drinks are a decent size.

Been to many Greek restaurants and was disappointed. Keftedes were dry, lamb shank was over cooked making it a bit tough. The service was great along with the calamari though
Love this place! Really makes you feel like you are in “authentic NYC”, every time I visit I feel transported in time. Since I first came here in 2013 their menu has changed a lot but recently they have returned to more traditional Russian dishes. Which is great!
I love the live music also.
This is one of those NYC must visit spots!
If you are from Eastern Europe or ex USSR you will appreciate the nostalgia and all the memorabilia.

The food was out of this world! I absolutely loved the food. However, expect long waits to get your order taken and to get your bill. You also might want to expect your order to be missing stuff.

A coworker and I decided to come here and I gave her rave reviews of a dinner I had here pre pandemic days! We ordered spanakopita(good) calamari(perfectly cooked) lamb burgers (not seasoned at all) and the walnut cake(too sweet)

We had to run so ordered our dessert to go, boy was that a mistake. They didn’t even package the ice cream for us which it was supposed to come with. We were highly disappointed- and the walnut cake was so sweet!

I’m not sure I will visit here for lunch again, but may come back for dinner.

Ammos Estiatorio is one of New York’s newest entities. Classy customers, succulent dishes alongside of great service. Overall management is extremely attentive to detail. The wine list is extensive. We visited for the first time, and all five of us were fully satisfied. We treated HGTV TV personality and Disney+ design judge Lauren Makk to a celebratory dinner. After all, she was recently announced as our emerging entrepreneur cover star.

I really struggled with giving them 3 stars as I’m sure this is a locally owned establishment and the food was wonderful and worthy of a 4 or 5 star rating. However, the service was -5 stars. The server appeared to be annoyed by the mere fact that we were dining in her section and barely said a word to us throughout the entire meal, never checked on our table, never refilled our water, and basically slammed the check down on the table at the end without a thank you or saying anything after 20 minutes of waiting. I’m not sure if we did something to upset her, but it sure seemed like it. I tipped her 15% as a courtesy, but this was the first time in my life that I really wanted to leave a zero tip. All around horrendous service and for that reason alone, I won’t be back. NYC is full of wonderful restaurants. I’ll find another pierogi spot.
Decent food and drinks but way too many people which made it increasingly difficult to enjoy a conversation with my colleagues. The table they sat us at was by the door and at least 25 people hit my chair as they went thru the door to go to the outside tables. With all the places to go to in Manhattan I probably wouldn’t go back.

Located right next to Grand Central Terminal, parking available (if you’re lucky), seating available outside, inside great ambiance, (although tight spaces, it’s Manhattan after all), and excellent service from beginning to end. The food is primarily Greek, and more so, authentic Greek. We tried two appetizers and two main dishes, as well as wine. Everything overall was well cooked, properly seasoned and had good flavor, but nothing amazing to write home about, not impressive.
I’d recommend Ammos, if you want to try good and authentic Greek food and also don’t want to go too far from Grand Central terminal.

Kafana is truly a lovely place with great servers and employees. The food was delicious and definitely got everyone full, the size of the portions are huge!

We got the Braised lamb, Pork neck, and schnitzel. All dishes were superb and highly recommend them!

Best restaurant Polish food I've had... get the combo platter. Loved the cabbage rolls and nalishniki (blintz). Went home with a bag of pierogies. Cute basic diner atmosphere. Sweet staff. Love ❤️

Authentic Albanian cuisine, food was delicious.
Lots of flavors, meat was cooked perfectly, lamb was so tender, seemed like you could have cut it with just looking at it.
Fergese was amazing, although be careful, it comes too hot. Better put some on a plate and let it cool down a little bit.
Spinach Burek wasn't seasoned good, no salt at all, unfortunately.
Overall, good experience, would highly recommend.
From the time I first learned of this restaurant I wanted to go. Yesterday, I was in the city and my feet brought me here. The ambiance was perfect for a pre theater dinner or just a peaceful moment away from the grind of the city. Prices for me, a non-city dweller, were higher than normal but I saw a menu for a pre fixe meal and went for it. I had what I thought was a traditional Russian meal which consisted of an appetizer of: Vinegret; Entrée of Beef Stroganoff, Dessert of Smetannik Cake and a Hot Russian Tea with whole cherry 🍒 preserves with lemon & honey 🍯 😋. It was a very tasty meal but for me i thought the portions were a tad small on the Entrée and dessert though at my age it was probably just right. The meal was extremely tasty with flavors I never imagined to be able to taste. The live piano music was just perfect for any reason that brought you here. My rating is low only because I expect more on my plate. Service was great and I love that it is a family run business that has its roots and traditions set in the Ukraine 🇺🇦 as well as Russian heritage. I highly recommend this restaurant for all the flavors and heritage they have brought to the United States 🇺🇸 of America.

Me and a friend went last night to celebrate a friend who lost his life 2 years ago. We sat at the bar which is very small having only 3 seats but, I loved it and preferred it over the regular seats that are pretty close. They have outdoor sitting as well.

We started with a beautiful appetizer of fried artichoke! Ummm yummy

I had the Caesar salad which was very good and since I love tomatoes I asked them to add them and I loved how big and beautiful they were. My friend had the watermelon salad that I tasted and loved too and so did she.

I ordered the lasagna and she had the spaghetti with clams. Both were good and I’m about to eat leftovers now.

We didn’t have dessert but, I ordered the prosciutto with fresh mozzarella and omg it was amazing! I only wish I had crackers to eat it on.

The staff was amazing and they all checked on us to make sure we were okay and enjoying everything and I wish I remembered every name but, there’s a guy that works at the bar who is a real hoot and truly entertaining! 😁

I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will be visiting again myself.

Authentic Greek cuisine. The waiters were good and the service was quick. Sit outside and enjoy the view through glass walls.
The food was really good. At a 5 minute walking distance from Central park.
Just ordered food and billed $39. Could not finish 2 dishes, so I could say that the quantity was decent enough.

Lovely Albanian restaurant. The food was delicious and amazing, typical traditional Albanian dishes but with a modern American twist. Most of their ingredients are brought from Albania which makes the taste even more authentic which is what i was looking for when i first went there. Their raki cocktail was good too. Definitely going back there.

A wonderful place for a patio glass of exceptional wine while people watching. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and stayed for hours. The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful. We would certainly go back!

This is a great local restaurant. The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back. The staff is small so you'll need to have patience with them as they are cleaning, taking orders, etc. You don't havs to rush to finish your plates; you can sit and have extended conversations. It's nice to be able to take your time and eat and talk. Now the food was flavorful but not salty and the portions were very generous. Apparently everything is made on the premises. It tastes like home cooked food. I'll definitely visit again!
This is the BEST authentic Russian restaurant! If you go on Friday night there will be a few gentleman playing instruments and singing traditional Russian songs. The food is delicious and so is the tea and dessert. If you want to experience how the Russians party this is a must! I do recommend making a reservation because they get filled quick.
Was my first time here and I thought it was a good overall experience. Food seemed authentic so it does live up to its name. Staff may not be the most warm, free flowing, but they mean well. And frankly I think it’s more of a cultural thing. Anyway, if you’re interested in some authentic Russian food, this is your spot.
