I had such a phenomenal experience at Damara Spa today. From the warm greetings from the reception staff to such an amazing and relaxing facial done by Ramia. I highly recommend her and will be coming back to her next month!

Fantastic massage with friendly staff. Nice relaxation lounge with teas and snacks.
Hot tub jets are not very strong and are situated low so don’t target your back.
An 18% gratuity was added to my bill which was surprising and I’ve never seen this in any other spa. I had them adjust it. This is a brazen practice and should not be allowed. I’ll decide my own gratuity. This left a sour taste in my mouth so I will not return again.

Worst experience with a spa.
Not only don't have a noticeable organization as they called me 3 times to confirm an appointment.
They also charged my girlfriend for an appointment that I booked for her as a birthday gift. There was a previous call where my card information was captured and clearly was noted on thin air, since it didn't happened.
Also that a regulated profession ask you for a tip, seems so wrong that it makes it just certain about not coming back; it's like if your dentist would ask you for a tip for cleaning your teeth.

Booked a service for my niece and I for her Birthday. It was the first time at a spa for both of us. The staff were helpful from booking to being there. Will be recommending for my friends that visit Toronto.

I had an amazing experience at the Four Seasons Spa in Toronto for Thanksgiving weekend. The spa itself is luxurious, peaceful, and the perfect spot to unwind. I had a massage with Greg, who was absolutely fantastic—he was professional, attentive, and made sure the whole experience was relaxing and tailored to my needs. The location is perfect, offering a serene escape right in the city. Highly recommend Four Seasons Spa and will definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Had a lovely spa day at the Four Seasons. Spent some time by the heated pool before my service. Had a relaxing facial with a wonderful face massage from Kathy. Then relaxed with a chamomile tea in the lounging area. The amenities are beautiful. There are
crystals in the treatment rooms as well as in the water decanter. The robs are soft and fluffy. They have truly thought of everything. Highly recommend.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a different way... pampering myself, so I decided to make an appointment at the best spa in Yorkville, Toronto. Since I arrived at Novo Spa, the attention of the reception team was wonderful, my RMT Assia is spectacular, I have no words to describe how relaxed it made me feel. After the massage I had a “Skin Renewal” facial with the best beautician Connie, she checked my skin and explained to me step by step everything she was doing. The result was amazing. Honestly, this Spa is totally recommended.

I go here often because everyone is kind and helpful and every appointment has been better than the last. I recently went and hung out in their lounge and enjoyed their selection of teas. My massages are always so relaxing and their staff are so attentive to my preferences and pain points during the session. Parking is a bit tough in this area so make sure you give yourself enough time to park before your appointment.

Exactly what you would expect from the 4 Seasons.
The amenities are first class.
You get to wear a 4 Seasons robe to die for.
The massage starts with a choice of aroma oils. The massage is wonderful. When it's over, your robe has been warmed. Steam room,

showers all with excellent products. Not cheap but worth it.

I been going around 5-6 months for facial treatment with Conie, and since my 15 years, I have not seen my skin this great as of then. I have rosacea and nobody could’ve helped me as before. I go every week, and I use the products they use themselves. The staff & the place is very cozy.

I had a Bachelorette at the hotel and we all made use of the spa. The staff was friendly, professional and did a wonderful job with our services. I got a facial and body wrap and felt very rejuvenated after. The spa had a nice jacuzzi, sauna and tea available! It made for a very nice time.

Owner has attitude and my massage was much shorter then the time I paid for. The basement, in which the massage room is in, is also very dirty and it appeared the products they were using for me were opened/crusted along the tops. Would never go back.

I made the mistake of trying to book a spa package for my wife's birthday with Novo Spa earlier this week. After trying to book a time slot online, as one would with any modern business, I saw that they only sold gift cards online and you had to call to book an appointment.

I called in and confirmed with an associate there that I wanted the the Novo Escape package for my wife. We discussed available times and landed on a 12:30 massage to be followed by an hour facial. At this point, she began trying to take down name and credit card details over the phone. The associate was deeply struggling with understanding the name spelling and payment detail numbers to the point that I didn't feel comfortable providing them further. I told her that I would make the gift purchase online (for pickup on the day of service) and confirmed that the time was still 12:30 start. I confirmed with her TWICE if this was ok and the time would be held to which she replied yes. I immediately made the purchase and got my order receipt, so I assumed everything was fine.

I got the sneaking suspicion this morning that she had not held the time, so I called to confirm the booking. A different associate answered and confirmed there was no booking under the name provided, and that there was no availability for massage today and other services weren't available until 2. We planned our entire day around the original agreed to spa time, so even if I could get past how frustrated I was with this place the timing wouldn't work.

The kicker is that when I expressed how much this ruined our plans and requested an immediate full refund for the package, I was told that the manager wasn't around and that she "most likely" would refund me sometime next week.

Such a poor experience and with no remorse to how it put a damper on my wife's birthday. Lost customer, and I would not recommend based on this experience.

I expect way too much with this place the website and all the info that the service they are offering its really too good and thats why I was convinced that the Therapeutic pedicure will be good even it is expensive but it address all my concerned. But they dont know how to take off the ingrown the skin and the massage was so fast and i also did a manicure they are sharing tools for my pedicure and manicure. I really did not feel comfortable the way I look at it ..I was not satisfied at all.
I really cant sleep coz i reget I expected too much with this place.
The people are nice but i need a good service whatever it says in their site should be applied.
I was even still around the area and I can see the all the skin in my finger nails and toe nails.

It was our first time here, and my partner and I booked a 75-minute couples therapeutic massage. I can honestly say it was the best massage I’ve ever had, and we both had an amazing time at the spa. Special shoutout to my RMT, Sidney, who did an incredible job and was super friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Although it was on the pricier side compared to other places, it was definitely worth it.

My favourite spa in Toronto. They have all the amenities and staff are friendly. There are small bites and tea at the lounge.

I was very pleased with my manicure at Alma Natural Spa!

I needed to get my nails done for work, and they were very accommodating despite me calling to say I’d be a few minutes late due to traffic.

I found the service friendly, kind, and professional. The place itself was comfortable, and the tools seemed appropriately sterilized.

It’s rare to find a spot in the city that uses clean ingredients and no harsh chemicals. I enjoyed my experience and, despite being a bit far from where I’m based, will definitely be back next time I need a manicure/ pedicure!

I highly recommend a facial with Monique she is highly skilled at explaining the procedure and is very good at what she does.

I was there for my birthday today and totally enjoyed my massage! Sheridan is amazing and Caitlyn, the manager is also great to speak and deal with. Such a wonderful lady and she made sure that every little detail was looked after today. I felt quite special and was very pleased with the service!!

Very comprehensive treatment. The massage was really great and I felt refreshed afterwards.

Not much conversation was made but that’s okay. It’s just that I would have liked to know what products were being used and a bit more about the process/steps of the treatment.

I absolutely loved this place. The staff was very friendly. I got a pedi and a mani. I had a lot of callus build up and after my pedi my feet were so smooth. I also did my eyebrows. I was really amazed because most of the salons I go to rip my eyebrow skin off cause I have very sensitive skin but the staff that took care of me did a great job with no bleeding! The staff also made me very comfortable because when she saw my nails she noticed I bite them. Which we had a conversation about. She made me feel very comfortable about them. She related and told me not to worry and not to feel embarrassed. Most nail places I go to, give me a side eye for that😂😅. Very happy with the service! I highly recommend coming here!

I was disappointed with my experience here. I had the sports foot treatment. The service was nothing like the description on the menu/website - which says you’ll get a “detoxifying soak (lavender/citrus) and callus removal” among other things like massage for a 35 min duration. While it did have a mediocre massage, it did not have anything else - e.g. she just filled the foot bath with tap water and the service was 25 min. At that point, the lady made very obvious eye contact and gestures to her boss who nodded as permission to stop mid massage. I happened to have sent a message to a friend at the start of my service, so luckily had the timestamp to double check, otherwise I would have thought maybe time just flew by. When I asked them about it, she argued that the service was the full 35 min duration.

Further, it didn’t seem very sanitary. There were communal sandals that we have to wear but many were dirty or had footprints from previous guests, so clearly weren’t sanitized after use. When I was done, she told me to put the sandals back in the exact same communal pile.

Amazing spa!! Service was wonderful. Truly enjoyed the relaxation room prior to our services. Staff is so friendly & helpful. Definitely deserves a return visit!?

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with wonderful hospitality. Front desk was very nice. Loved how we got slippers and a robe and our own designated locker plus shower facilities. The locker area was also very clean and that I appreciated. The waiting room before you go into the massage accompanied with tea and snacks was very nice as well. We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t too packed but even if it was, the people are very nice and the noise level is appropriate. Our RMTS were very professional and made sure to honour consent and were communicative which we appreciated since this was our first time. Afterwards we were awarded with baklava which was a wonderful treat. We used the spa amenities afterwards and despite it being shared with folks from the hotel, everything was still very clean and nice. Would definetly be back.

I get a lot of massages and I tell everyone that time and time again the best is here. It’s amazing that you get to spend time at the pool and hot tub and saunas with your massage, make a relaxing day of it. You get some tea and snacks as well. Everything is beautiful! It’s 10/10 experience, especially the hot stone massage, I like the stones they use. Big fan

I also loved their tea and baklava post treatment. Absolutely delicious ☺️

I had an absolute wonderful experience here while visiting Toronto.
Very professional as soon as I walked in the door. Every room and hallway I entered was neat clean and beautiful. My massage was extremely relaxing. I will definitely be back to visit!

Got a RMT massage done and enjoyed the jacuzzi hot tub before my services. What a calming environment and lovely customer service. Facilities are very clean. My massage therapist really did a great job and I have less back and shoulder pain. Thank you SpaZen!

One of my favorite spas hands down.
The experience is always above par. The workers are friendly, welcoming and helpful. They go above an depend to make sure you are comfortable and your experience is enjoyable.

The spa itself is beautiful and extremely clean. There are 2 lounges (unisex and women's only) where you can relax before or after your treatment. They provide you with fresh fruit, cookies and hot organic tea.

My massage therapist was excellent. She definitely knew her stuff and worked out all my knots and tension.

I've been going to NovoSpa for over 10 years and even though I've moved to Kitchener, I still make the trek down just to visit.

I am delighted to share my exceptional experience at Miraj Spa with Norciana. Her professionalism truly shone through, ensuring that I felt relaxed following the deep tissue massage. The pleasure continued as I savored Moroccan tea in the calming lounge afterward. To top it off, I was granted access to the pool and sauna, an experience that was truly amazing. Regrettably, on July 30, 2023, the Jacuzzi was closed due to ongoing construction.

Such a beautiful spa. I’ll definitely be back! I feel like they don’t overbook people which is nice because often I had the whole pool or sitting area to myself so it was ultimate relaxing. I also went on a weekday which could have been why. Everything from the music to the ambience was so relaxing. I did the lime and macadamia 90 minute scrub and wrap and my god was it absolute heaven. The staff are amazing. The facilities are so clean. For anyone that’s going with the opposite gender, the pool and hot tub area in these pics are shared which is nice. The steam rooms are in the changing rooms. Can’t wait to go back!!!

My experience at Miraj Hamman Spa was exceptional. The spa offers a high-end and luxurious atmosphere in downtown Toronto, making it an ideal destination for any special occasion. I’ve been meaning to come to this spa for a very long time and finally I did a few days ago.
I started with 1 hour deep tissue massage and I loved it!!! My RMT, Marius, was excellent, welcoming and very professional.
The facilities are amazing, I specially loved the steam room, it was super super hot!! OMG and the bathrobes were so cozy, especially all warmed up after the massage!
I relaxed on their beds, their lounge areas as well as by the pool.
All the staff was extremely welcoming and super friendly, I had such a wonderful time at this spa.
Definitely a must try spa in Toronto!!!

Update: worst spa experience -
Just did a spa package at the Elmwood and the comparison is non existent. THE ELMWOOD was amazing and also had a multicultural INCLUSIVE group of staff members..
Again management has done nothing to change this extremely racial experience I had. Which will leave me to never using this spa or recommending it again! Internally training is a poor excuse of handling the situation because the victim (me)still only reaped the poorest experience your spa could have offered.
Speaking with management was no help. Sure.... Jackie was apologetic, she mentioned additionally training would take place, but all in all.. it was an awkward conversation; she invited me back but there was NO mention of any compensation until I brought it up...
A "discount" was offered but at how much? WHO knows. I am so unpleased and turned off, and definitely do not want to waste my money coming back for the same awful service.. not unless the same package (my mom bought 2 as a gift!) is offered to me to make up for my time wasted the first time.
If Jackie is the one training people... I understand why service is the way it is....
I have been dealt with in great ways... and poor ways.. this was one of the poorest.. she did not want to work with me ..
Jackie is business orientated .... not customer.
I would like to come back and be offered the same package at no cost...
Again I repeat, go elsewhere if you can..

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Spa: overall the spa was nice, clean, and had a consistent theme going. On the smaller side - accommodates 3 people at a time it seems (3 massage rooms, 3 manicure/ pedicure chairs, etc)… I was the only person there at the time and couldn’t imagine being there with other people would of been congested and too much to me.

Massage: relaxation massage was okay, have had better; was slightly inconsistent, what was done on the left side and the right side was totally different and random at that. The music stopped a couple times and I was in silence… eventually it was turned back on, the massage chair was extremely squeaky and made noise during the massage.

Facial: the facial was nice, no complaints the products used left my face feeling clean and fresh!

Manicure: my entire manicure was done with latex gloves on which was really weird and uncomfortable…
The scrub wasn’t lathering into my skin properly because it was being rubbed in my the gloves… my entire spa session was done with no gloves on so why now.. I kinda of wanted to get up and leave, didn’t want the manicure.
I chose the colour I wanted for my nails and she actually told me it was too close to my skin colour…..
(Very brave statement to make in my opinion! Also an opinion I did not care to hear). She continued to tell me.. she is someone who tell they’re clients what’s going to make them look pretty….

To top off the “lovely”service, my cuticle oil was put on by a fully dressed (coat, boots, scarf, hat) and ready to LEAVE spa therapist, who’s last words to me were “I’m not trying to rush” ….

(Note: it’s March 4th, the day it dumped snow, I understand you want to get home.. but I came down here in the same weather conditions you did…. and it made me think if service is always like this or service was like this because I came down on a snow day!)

I was going to use the amenities they had but decided to LEAVE because it seemed like I was holding the spa up or something…. and had a sour taste in my mouth…
I tipped out of decency, but I am turned off at the service that can be provided now a days.. it was beyond poor

save your money! too expensive for what’s offered..

To add a few more comments:
1. I was sent an email at 2:50pm reminding me about the 24hour cancellation policy, (my appointment is 2:45pm tomorrow… thanks for sending me a timely reminder 5 mins after the 24 hour mark…)
2. When I arrived at the spa, the front desk was dealing with a bill discrepancy with another guest that was just leaving, ekkk

A truly high end spa experience. The details of spa take you to Morocco and does not at all feel like you’re in the middle of downtown Toronto.

Staff is really pleasant and welcoming. I would suggest getting a 90 minute massages instead of a 60 minute one as you get free access to the health club which was amazing with a steam, sauna, gym, pool & jacuzzi which you have access to all day so can spend the entire day at the Shangri-La relaxing.

My partner and I had such a relaxing time at SpaZen. We arrived early, and spent some time lounging and in the hot tub. We were the last massages of the day, so we had the place practically to ourselves! So so nice. Massages were great, and they really listened to what we had to say. We can’t remember our massage therapists’ names, but whoever was working until close on February 16th deserves a raise!

I loved my experience in this spa. This hidden gem is located south of Yonge & Eglinton Center. They have a very calming atmosphere. The place is small but its got bery cute & classy decor. I got one of the best pedicures by the lady Elena. She also gave me a very relaxing 20 mins massage. I find the prices to be affordable for the service. Definitely recommend this place to others!
