I went to Chinatown after a quick foot and back massage.. I saw summer sun spa downstairs and the lady seating at the door noticed that I was searching for a massage place and she talked to me. She was very direct with the price and services (probably because she doesn’t speak English properly). As soon as a said “okey, let’s try”, she already called the other girl, the girl called me to one of the rooms. It was very clean and organized!!! I did the 30’ foot 30’ body massage and she was very kind always asking if it was too strong of too weak. The only thing that made me “”uncomfortable”” is that the walls are not isolated, so you can hear everything from outside and from other rooms.. but it didn’t actually bothered me. The girl was very good, strong hands, I’ll definitely come back every month!
Loved the experience! I was experiencing a lot of body pain (specifically in my feet and back) and I’m feeling soooooo relief 😮‍💨🙌🏻

First the girl who made my nails I asked her to make me a less thick and less rough nail finish by showing her a photo she gets angry and talks to me badly. During the performance she opened my skin.

In addition, she had to call her colleague to come and make me the shade so I understood that she didn't know how to do it. So if from the beginning you are not able to do something it is better to say it instead of taking me for a guinea pig.

I come out of there with hands soiled by their shadow machine and asymmetrical nails.

The pedicure was ok.
I had an appointment tomorrow to make eyelash extensions, I obviously canceled. I don't recommend you.

My wife and I recently visited Elmwood Spa in Toronto for a couples massage and were thoroughly impressed. The spa provided us with a private room where a cozy fire added to the relaxing atmosphere. The aromatherapy during our session was fantastic and really helped to enhance the sense of calm.

Our massage therapists, Andrea and Alba, were outstanding. They were attentive and made sure our experience was both enjoyable and relaxing.

I highly recommend Elmwood Spa for anyone looking for a high-quality spa experience. It's a great place to unwind and treat yourself.

Wanted to try somewhere new and the massage was only okay. Nice that it’s a lower price point but would prefer to spend my money elsewhere. Maybe it was the masseuse I had since the reviews are pretty good.

First time here and I had the best massage ever. The facial and products used were all very good quality for my skin. I'll definitely visit again.

my recent experience at Spa My Blend:

1. The duration of the massage session felt insufficient given the high price point of $350 for just an hour. I suggest either extending the massage time or adjusting the pricing accordingly to align with customer expectations.
2. Also one of the showers weren't working properly and when called the attendant she also dint know. I would suggest if you can put lables to make it clearly understood on how to operate.
3. While enhancements are offered, they shouldn't come at the expense of reducing the actual massage time. If additional time is provided for enhancements, it should be complementary rather than adding extra costs.
4. For customers opting for a full-day activity experience, it would greatly enhance the value proposition if a food buffet were included. This would make the overall cost more worthwhile and add to the luxurious experience.
5. The quality of the goodies provided in the spa's gift bags could be improved to better reflect the premium nature of the establishment.
6. To enhance the customer experience, it would be beneficial for Spa My Blend to proactively inform users via email about what clothing items to bring and what amenities will be provided, ensuring they are fully prepared for their visit.

We usually go at the end of every season and we will continue doing so. We book the Escape for 2, with water therapies, massage and dinner. Checking in is super smooth, people are really friendly and we leave very relaxed from our massages. Food is one of our favorites in Toronto. Best thing is that the massages are provided by RMTs so it's covered by our medical insurance.

Nina always executes my nail design, and shape beautifully! Even when my reference photo doesn’t look like exactly what I want, she works with me to understand and execute the vision. I’m always so happy at the end of the service and highly recommend Anazing Nails 💕

The best place to get your nails done in Toronto! Make sure you ask for Anna! She can do any design you want and shapes your nails PERFECTLY!! Salon is clean and the staff is very friendly. They always have music playing. Overall great vibe with talented nail techs!

I decided to treat myself to a luxurious massage at the Spa myBlend and it did not disappoint. I came on a Monday morning and almost had the place to myself. All the staff were so kind and helpful. The amenities were great and super clean. Make sure you have enough time before and after your treatment to enjoy the amenities and lounge. I also enjoyed the tea and snacks that they provide. I got a hot stone massage and it was a truly relaxing experience. I got to choose the oil that they use and everything in the room (bed, temp, music) is adjustable to your liking. The only thing I didn’t like are the slippers, they are a bit uncomfortable. But other than that, a 5 star experience!

What a relaxing day spent at the Spa blend in the Ritz Carlton Toronto. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, the staff were flawless and super cx focused. The deep tissue massage was incredible and the staff took the time to explain different stretches and positions to help alleviate tension and pain. The amenities were wonderful, ranging from steam rooms and saunas to hot tubs and pools. Let’s not forget the calm communal relaxation area that you can enjoy with friends or your spouse/partner. The premise was clean and inviting

I have visited in several occasions, I typically have a great time. Love the hot tub, beautiful women’s changing room, great massages. I did my nails recently… and it may have been just me but felt judgy eye rolls and stares from one of the nail technicians during a conversation I was having with a friend… but perhaps that was a misunderstanding. It’s usually a fantastic time.

Elmwood Spa is a little haven tucked away in busy downtown Toronto. Last year I booked the Exotic Escape for Two Retreat as my first spa experience and absolutely fell in love with Elmwood. This year, we decided to come back but up our package to the Spa Date for Two. We received massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and a 3 course lunch. Elmwood is incredibly clean and so, so charming. I've read reviews on here complaining about its "outdated" or "old" interior, but honestly what would you expect from a spa with this much history? I find the interior to be one of the highlights of the spa, as it has its own character and is part of the entire experience. I also wanted to shout-out Nichole, Rose, and Mary for being so lovely during our facials and mani / pedis! They were so amazing to chat with. Many staff members have worked here for years, which is always a green flag for me. Couldn't recommend Elmwood more and can't wait to be back!

Absolutely amazing! It was very relaxing and indulgent. The food was delicious. All service providers were very kind and provided more than satisfactory services and recommendations for continued care/maintenance. Best spa experience I've had and will definitely return. ✨

My husband and I went for a couples deep tissue massage and use of the sauna and facilities. We had en excellent experience. Andre and Isaac are wonderful RMTs. Very professional and talented.
The facilities itself were very clean, with terrific steam rooms (be sure to give them some time to warm up) , as well as complementary Moroccan Oil branded products in the change rooms, which was a nice bonus.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
They “infrared” sauna we signed up to used before our massage , wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Small and very bright. It didn’t seem like a true infrared sauna to me. It was a complementary add-on to our package so it was fine. I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for it.
Overall, it was a nice , quiet and relaxing experience, which is just what we had hoped for .

Had my second facial with Lora at ElmSpa and she is absolutely fantastic. She’s very kind, knowledge, explains the treatment and products and made me feel very comfortable. The fave massage was the best I’ve ever had! I will definitely return and book again with her.

I came here for a massage on Thursday for the first time, and was really disappointed with my experience. I booked the last massage slot (5:45-6:45) and felt rushed to get out. When I asked if I could quickly shower afterwards (15 minutes left before closing) I was told that the hotel pool area across the hall had showers. I said I’d be quick (I didn’t want to go across the hall) and the woman told me I had 10 minutes.

The jacuzzi and all showers except for one were out of order. The shower that was working was filthy. There were clumps of hair in the shower drain and floor as well as toilet paper. The walls were all torn up and dirty as well. I was really surprised by how poorly kept the facilities are.

The massage itself was not great, it was really fast paced, and the movements were abrupt and robotic. It seemed like she was following a standard routine and didn’t focus on the areas that I asked her to. Before the massage was even over I could hear her zipping up her jacket to leave, since I was the last massage of the day.

The spa music stopped minutes before 7 pm - making it clear that I needed to get out. They shouldn’t be offering this appointment time if they are planning on rushing you out afterwards. All in all, I was really disappointed. I‘m sure this was the place to go once upon a time but I wouldn’t recommend it after this experience. I will say that the gentleman at the front desk was wonderful and so welcoming, this review doesn’t apply to him.

This is my all-time favourite nail salon. So thankful I discovered them, especially Anna. All the staff are super nice and friendly. They have great prices, the service is always good, the salon is super tidy, and my nails come out perfect every time.

I love them here!!! Can always get an appointment even as a walk-in since they have so much space and so many nail techs. All of the nail techs I have had have been great but Anna is especially amazing - I can show her any design or colour or shape and she nails it (pun intended).

This has been my go-to nail salon for the past 4 years! Kim, the owner always greets you with a smile, and the staff are so friendly. My nail technician is Anna, who I strongly recommend to all my friends and they always leave happy. She's amazing at leaving my nails thin so they look natural, and even after 4 weeks of growth they hold! Pictures are after a week of seeing her.

I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years and always leave more than happy with my results. I generally have a picture of what I want and they’re able to design something even better than what I’ve brought in to show them. I get complemented on my nails almost daily, they’re the best!

A relaxation gem in the heart of Toronto! - I’ve been here a few times and tried a number of services: massages, body scrub, facial, pedicure, restaurant, water therapies and most recently hair services, all of which has been wonderful!

The three course lunch is always delicious as are the drinks including their mango mimosas and wine selection. Tea is complimentary and so refreshing after a deep tissue massage or a hot stone massage or even their Swedish massage. Staff are knowledgeable with the products and services.

Luca - Hair stylist - I saw Luca recently for a hair cut and scalp treatment, my first at Elmwood and as with the other services it did not disappoint. Luca is highly skilled at what he does, and so knowledgeable about the products and hair care in general.

I would highly recommend the spa here! I wanted to surprise my husband with a 90 minute couples massage and the staff was so helpful throughout the booking process! They made note it was an early birthday celebration and were so kind to acknowledge it throughout our experience! I didn’t realize there was so much to enjoy within the spa area so we definitely didn’t utilize as much as it had to offer but I would gladly go back! They had extensive women’s areas, lounges, private steam room and infused spa to relax in prior to or after your treatment. They also had a beautiful co ed lounge area to rest and relax with snacks and amenities that were complementary and things you could order as well. Both of our therapists did wonderful jobs and it was well worth our visit there! Upon our departure they presented us with a birthday gift for my husband with a beautiful hand written note from the team and also gifted me some very nice samples! If you’re planning on enjoying a service here I would absolutely bring your swimsuit, a good book, and plan to come early or stay after your appointment for awhile! Very polite and great quality brands for products! However, the manicure and pedicure were extremely disappointing. I’m not sure whether the nail polish was old, the brush used or the technique (e.g., putting on polish too thick), but every single nail had significant bubbles and did not dry smoothly. With my pedicure after my manicure, my toes had 1.5 hours+ to dry after the pedicure and almost 45 mins to dry after the manicure. There are so many that it’s quite visible to the naked eye, even from far away!

Elmwood spa is a hidden gem. It provides you a wonderful opportunity to get some rest and relaxation in while being in the city. I found that the service was wonderful. When booking, Carol took the time to tell me which services was offered and scheduled me in to accommodate timing that would work for me. Another plus is that if it is your birthday, you relieve a complimentary lunch! Our server during lunch was really kind. When we didn't like how our dish turned out, Jeremy made sure to ask and send a new one for us.

M first time at Body Blitz and it was amaaaazing. The waters are a lovely way to start out and decompress. Better to go with at least one friend so you can enjoy together and have someone to talk to. My treatment was the oceanic clay mud and it was heavenly. Thanks JP! Since this was a gift, I was given a 90-minute massage for the last part of my visit - also excellent and got all the knots out (thanks Pam!) but if you’re going yourself and don’t want to spend that much, you’d be good with just the treatment. Will definitely go again!

I really liked their service. They have knowledgeable staff who know what they are doing. Products being applied are tailored for your skin. Overall facilities were super clean and service top notch.

What an amazing experience! Ronite and the staff went out of their way to make even newcomers like me and my boyfriend feel welcomed and like we we've been here forever. We went on an extremely cold day and loved the mini oasis that warmed us up. Happy to recommend this to anyone who's interested in a spa day in Toronto!

This had the potential to be an awesome experience, while the waters were great and I left feeling very relaxed, I was much less impressed with the massage experience. My massage therapist wore latex gloves the entire time, apart from the last 5 mins. My friend who comes here more often said that she hadn't experienced this before. It was not relaxing and took away from the overall experience. However, like I said the waters were a really nice way to relax in the winter and although busy, it was kept very clean.

First time doing a water circuit and I loved it. Facilities are very clean and organized and my skin/hair has never felt better. Customer service is also excellent - I forgot my swimsuit and everyone was very kind and responsive and helped me get it back. Can’t wait to go again!

I really enjoy going to Body Blitz and had gone several times before the pandemic. This was my first time returning post pandemic and it was still very enjoyable. Waters were fantastic, everything was very clean and service was good. However, at the end of my time there I noticed that my bathing suit had been badly bleached. What was once a bright turquoise bathing suit is now a splotchy grey and yellow. I notified the girl at the front desk as I was leaving and was just told "that happens sometimes. Sorry about your bathing suit". Needless to say I am very disappointed that I will now be getting rid of a very expensive bathing suit.

Be careful if you think you can claim massage services through your insurance, they are not Massage Registered Therapist, therefore you will not be able to claim throughout your insurance.

Went here for a personal mental health day, and it was lovely. The staff were all kind and accommodating. The areas were relaxing and clean. I like that you're allowed to talk in the pool area as it feels less pompous than other places while you can still relax and have a lovely experience. I didn't book a treatment, but I might for the next time!

I developed a lot of anxiety following knee surgery and discovered Othership after my friends spoke of how cold plunging and breathwork helped their recovery.

I went into my first class with an open mind and became hooked after my first class. The cold plunge was very challenging, but I came out feeling energized. It's been six months, and I have become more connected with myself.

Othership offers such a unique experience in downtown Toronto. Whenever I enter the space, it feels like an escape, and I always look forward to leaving feeling refreshed and relaxed. The guides are supportive, and I love the variety of guided classes. I recommend Othership to all my friends interested in exploring sauna and cold plunging, as well as learning of all the health benefits of it!

Went for the birthday month special with my mom and we had the most pleasant time. From the pools + steam room to our massages and our 3 course meal. The meal is complimentary during your birthday month from Monday to Thursday when you purchase a spa service.

Went for a body scrub massage with Joao and it was amazing. Left me feeling relaxed and my skin felt amazing. He was very professional and the place was clean and tranquil. This was my first ever massage and now I realize that I’ve been missing out. Wish I lived in Toronto because I’d go every week!! I will definitely be back on my next trip

What a great experience. The staff here are truly amazing!

The lounge area was beautiful and relaxing. They provided some nice tea. Sauna had great lighting and music. There is one sauna and 4 cold pluge pools.

There are a variety of different types of experiences you can have. I enjoyed the "quieter" session's the most. The "social" and "classes" were more fun with friends.

All you need is your swimsuit!

They provide 2 towels and lockers.

We requested in writing, in advance , extra strong deep massage to deal with neck and shoulder and back muscle pain. None of these areas were addressed. The staff never informed us that they could not do deep tissue massage, which is because neither of the masseurs were RMT certified...they are only esteticians. The massages were a waste of time and money.

I called on july 25 and booked an appointment for july 27th the same thursday.

When I got to the spa I was told that my appointment was cancelled due to them not reaching me.

The number they called on my "file" was wrong and whoever I spoke with to make my appointment didn't even think to confirm it with me. Due to their error i wasted my whole day, can make up work some how but the fact they wasted my time can not make up.

My daughter and I shared a tranquil and luxurious day at Body Blitz Spa. We spent two hours cycling between the various pools and the steam and sauna rooms. So relaxing! It's such an inviting place, very clean, with all the amenities. Robes, towels and slippers provided. Silky lotion, soap and shampoo. The staff are friendly and helpful. From the yummy juice bar to the vanity and change rooms, this was a lovely experience.

First and definitely not the last time @ Rebalance 4men. Marco is such a professional and courteous gentleman. Services, venue and standard of hygiene, orderliness and delightful ambiance are impressive. Highly recommended. Thank you Marco.

As a beginner, the staff did a great job explaining everything and guiding me through the session. I did the ice bath twice and it felt amazing!!

This is a great place to go and relax while receiving some excellent health benefits!

I loved the sauna and the cold plunge pools. Really nicely set up and easy to enjoy.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The facilities are all clean and well maintained.

Make sure to book ahead and remember your bathing suit and a water bottle. They will take care of the rest. Lockers are available and so are towels.

I look forward to my next visit to Othership!

I had a full arms wax here today. Mitch was very professional and his work was clean, unrushed, and comfortable. I also got a goodies bag on my way out. I am skeptical of new places because of sponsored reviews but this place ain’t one of those. The place was very clean, aromatic and open. Definitely would visit again and recommend others. If you want parking at street pay attention to signs at street or there’s parking at back side as well.

This place is incredible! Absolutely loved the waters and doing the circuit they suggest! Relaxing, clean and well maintained space! Melanie was amazing as well.

A sauna and ice bath experience like no other on this planet! I travelled from the UK to Toronto specifically to journey with the Othership upon friends' recommendations and wow was it worth the trip! Over 2 days I completed the Arctic Tundra, Burn, Letting In & Letting Go and Energize guided classes and ended with a Thursday night Social. What incredible experiences, each journey was unique. Othership have turned contrast therapy into an artform; the guides are superbly supportive, motivating and each with incredible energy and they have curated classes that create magical experiences that linger in the mind and body beyond the immediate physical rushes felt. It was a privilege to visit, to journey with and enjoy time in the Othership.

The space is amazing! Aesthetically it’s so beautiful and welcoming.

The people are equally, if not more, amazing! I came for a sauna session and I actually stayed for the cold plunge because the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful in aiding my experience with the cold. Thanks to them I know it’s an experience and a sensation I love and want to keep practicing.

Also, I was never much for smelling things — thanks to a bum nose — but they do this cool thing in the sauna where they throw a snowball with various essential oils on the sauna rocks and then they towel wave, like sauna Jedi, the scent and the heat at you. Who knew I loved the smell of Geranium and Grapefruit 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been to several spas in the city but this has to be my favourite one!! Clean, excellent service and the PERFECT place to relax.
It was my first time visiting and I was kindly greeted by staff who walked me through the entire facility. I then got to my locker which has both my robe and slippers waiting for me and from there I was able to use the amenities (sauna, hot tub) before my massage appointment. I waited for my massage therapist to get me from the lounge room (which was gorgeous) and went in for my appointment. Genuinely one of the best massages I ever had, everything I had spoke of prior to my appointment felt addressed and Nancy was so kind to recommend some stretches to further prevent any tension in the shoulder area. During the massage session you are able to choose the oils of your choice, the Clarins oils (I believe it was the tonic one I chose) smelt AMAZING!!
I am so excited to go back, I heard they have fantastic facial services and I will be checking that out!

Cozy, quiet spot for basic spa services. Price point is decent and reflects minimal amenities (quiet bamboo seating area, steam room, one shower, tea and water). Not ideal for couples/friend groups who want to book services at the same time, as they often only have one aesthetician. The pedicure chair doesn’t accommodate petite people- I was moved to a much less comfortable chair. It’s a good alternative to typical nail salons and/or fancier spas if you’re looking for a quiet escape/minimal services.

I absolutely loved the experience - so relaxing and deeply enjoyable. Mitch was fantastic, thorough in his process and gave me a lot of perspective on skincare. Loved it. Look forward to coming along more!

I have been going here for years- sometimes alone, or sometimes with my mom or daughter or friend- they have rooms with multiple plush chairs so you can get your feet rubbed at the same time. The massages are incredible. Combing the 2 gets you 1 hour foot rub and 1 hour massage. If you pay cash it’s only $89! I always give a $20 tip. It is well worth it. It also has a nail salon but I haven’t used it. The staff is wonderful, English is quite limited but google translate works well! I have always just done a walk -in, but if you have multiple people going it might be better to make an appointment too ,and sure they have enough staff. Definitely recommend

I hadn't been here since before the pandemic and am so glad I went back. I did a solo morning on a weekday and it was perfect. It was not too busy because of the weekday morning time and I loved having the luxury of space and time to move about as I pleased.

The place is kept immaculate. Aesthetically pleasing space and friendly staff. I did the recommended circuit a few times and could feel my muscles relaxed and refreshed as I left.

You're supplied with slippers, a robe, and towels. There's ample grooming supplies (make up wipes, hair dryers, combs, etc) to help you freshen up before you leave.
I'd love for them to upgrade their hairdryers and also a bathing suit dryer would be a great addition.

Overall wonderful and I'll be going back again soon!

Great price and great body massage every time I come by with my boyfriend. They always make sure you’re satisfied with the pressure they use and to adjust if needed. This is my go-to spot. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely Outstanding!! When you walk through there door you feel nothing but peace and relaxation immediately-- they are both the sweetest guys who just want you to enjoy your time. Someone that works for himself and is always busy I need these times to recharge and both Marco & Joao did that for me. Had an amazing session today! The waxing was much better than I imagined (this is my first wax ever), thanks to Marcos' excellent skill and his constant adjustment to my threshold. Then came the 90-min massage session by Joao. I had had lots of massage before and guaranteed this was top notch! Right amount of pressure, attention to details (he didn't leave out an inch of my aching body) and I loved how he always landed my arms and legs down gently after finishing with them. Prompt email response, professional manner, clean and tidy place. Highly recommended.

I went for my first visit and I’ll definitely be back. The treatments are so thorough and professional, with knowledgeable and caring staff that ask the right questions. You can see how dedicated they are in how the prepare for their clients, and keep them calm and relaxed during their visit. It was the perfect way to end off a stressful week. I feel fantastic and I can’t wait until I return.

First time getting waxed, really painless, Marco did a great job, was very thorough, and checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable.

Also got a massage which was really wonderful, one of the better massages I've had, the right amount of pressure for me and I felt amazing during and after. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We loved our experience at elm spa. Its location is very suitable if you are living anywhere in downtown. As we got to the location, the staff there were so welcoming and kind - they took our bags for me and placed it in a secure location while we had our massage. The place was very COVID friendly. They provided us with a robe and flip flops during my time at the spa. Before our appointment, they welcomed us to relax in the garden room where we were offered water and enjoyed the calming environment. We got the 80 min aromatherapy massage and it was so worth it. Andre the RMT was amazing and made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend this place to everyone and it made us feel relaxed leaving. It is worth every penny.

I absolutely LOVE this spa. I went here a few years back for a prenatal massage which was fantastic. I came back for the same service and again, outstanding! The RMT, Andrea, was fantastic! She made sure I was 100% comfortable the entire time. I then attended the water therapy and lunch. The food is always on par. Nothing was bad at all. The dessert had the best visual appeal and tasted great (I had cheesecake bites - see photo). Overall, 10000% recommend!! I'm for sure going back!

I have been feeling sluggish during the past couple of days and came across Rebalance 4 Men, as I was searching for massage places. I am extremely glad that I took the chance and booked. Joao was very responsive and was kind enough to accommodate my last minute booking. The body scrub massage felt amazing and it seemed like one of the best 2-hours of my life! I lost count of the number of time I fell asleep during the session. I hope I wasn’t snoring! Thanks so much for that outstandingly relaxing body scrub massage. My skin never felt this smooth and I never felt this reinvigorated. I am ready to face a new day feeling more recharged! I am definitely coming back and I highly recommend.

I had the privilege to get a body scrub and massage from Rebalance 4 Men Spa. It was an exceptional experience. The facility is spotless and well decorated. The treatment room looks professional yet comfortable. Joao was very professional and my skin felt soft and reinvigorated afterwards. Highly recommended!

Love this place! My partner and I come here once a week for a foot and body massage. The place is clean, and the staff are all friendly and do a great job! 30 mins foot plus 30 mins body for $58 - can’t go wrong!

If easier to park is better

Got a 1 hr body massage here yesterday. $60 for the 60min. The person that did the massage for me was cindy. She is really good .The place was clean.

I really enjoyed the massage I got. I had Shirley. She knows all the points where I have knots and I didn't even have to tell her. I told her at the beginning that I like deep pressure and she managed to maintain the pressure just right throughout the session. The only thing that can be improved is the cleanliness of the sheets/towels on the massage bed. The place itself was clean, but the sheets weren't the freshest looking. They look like they should be replaced with new ones.

I went with the buytopia deal and was very impressed. Fantastic establishment. Staff were friendly and professional. Good training, proper technique. Very clean. Would go again. Would recommend.

I wish I Googled this “spa” before the purchase of a voucher.
First, it took me two months to book an appointment as they do not answer phone calls and do not return messages. Now I discovered that it was not only my experience.
They called me back only after I reported them to Buytopia where I purchased “the deal”.
As it did not work to cancel my deal altogether, co-owner (called herself Rebecca) told me that as I am too late!!!! she will not give me an appointment for weekend or closer to evening. So, I would have to take a day off to go there. After I convinced her that late booking is not my fault she “suddenly” discovered available Sunday window.
Spa looks well equipped and luxury.
Unfortunately, owners do not understand that it is not equipment that makes a spa. It’s people, skills and respect to customers.
Despite it was Sunday spa was almost empty. Few personnel, one family and myself.
They all appeared to know each other, were hugging, kissing, discussing family and other personal news and cracking all the time, making me feel like I am somebody’s party crasher. Unwelcomed.
Lady who did my facial looked like she is in disparate need of one herself. She was constantly pulling my face down, probably trying to adjust it to her own standards. Initially her hands were very cold and she politely informed me about it without an attempt to warm them up. It’s my problem. After this facial I felt 20 years older.
Manicure and pedicure were the only good part. They were performed by Azi who was very considerate and professional.
Despite my package included also massage, paraffin treatments, spa and pool, my “facial lady” rushed to inform Rebecca that I am dome and can leave! Right, it was not my party.
Definitely, Rebecca did not care to remind me that I need a swimsuit, so I did not have a chance to “enjoy” their salt water pool.
I had to manage myself the sauna operations as nobody cared to show me around.
And “20 min relaxation massage” was something else! Right of the bet, Rebecca explained that I shouldn’t even dream about massage on this deal. She told me not even take my clothes off and not lie on the stomach. For five min she jammed my neck, then told me stories about the owners of this retirement home and spa and let me go. Other reviews say she does not have a license. I didn’t ask but it did not look like she knows what she is doing or cared about her or spa reputation.
So, conclusion.
Well equipped, expensive spa continues desperately to sell their “deals” trying to get at least something from it, fill the time and avoid providing services.
Not-understanding customers do not rush back.
