Absolutely Fantastic Experience. Yan was spectacular. Her knowledge and understanding of the human body and how to release trapped energy was magical. You must come here and ask for Yan. Great Atmosphere you will Love it. I will be back.
Leilla at the chambers street location is the BEST specialist I’ve ever seen. I will only see her moving forward. She makes it it as pain free and easy as possible. 10/10 recommend seeing her!

I went here about a month ago for a first time (ever!) bikini wax, and I loved and definitely would recommend it here!! I had the pleasure of meeting Chelsea, who was not only patient with my anxiety about the whole thing, but was extremely nice, funny, and supportive. She made me feel completely comfortable and explained the whole process before doing anything, as well as explained good after-care and recommended some products when I asked. Will be booking my next appointment for sure. Thank you front desk staff as well!

Jazmin at the Tribeca location is amazing. I travel from Brooklyn from home and from Nomad from work just to see her. Highly recommend this location and her!
Very first visit at European wax center and had a great experience. My specialist Ciara was amazing. She is both friendly and professional!
Very organized, clean, calm environment. Service was great! She did a fantastic job in a timely and structure manner!
Amazing spa with a relaxing atmosphere! Really great service and great staff.

Of all the hotels weve been this is one of the best. From the architecture and interior, its truly a luxury five star hotel. The ambiance and the good smell upon entering the hotel is fascinating. The room is the true meaning of serenity. Everything was perfect !!! Kudos!!!
Place is exceptional, one of my fav cocktail bars in Manhattan. Great gin selection, specialty cocktails are something else. Ambience is next level
Very good! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a night of comfort and calm. Great service! Definitely a reference.
My partner and I stayed here over Labour Day weekend. We had the best time, especially as we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival which was a real treat. The room was beautiful, with high quality furnishings and a very comfy bed. The staff were really helpful and friendly, offering excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do. We also had drinks in the lobby bar which were fabulous - a beautiful surrounding and inventive twists on classic cocktails. It was a wonderful stay in a hotel where you can feel the history in its walls. We will definitely be back next time we are in NYC!

Simply fascinated with the hotel!
Like most of the clientele who visit AMAN, I have been fortunate to experience many world-class luxury properties over the years. But, that being said, what they did at AMAN NYC is truly special.
The service is world class.
The blend of European and Japanese luxury is done in such an incredibly tasteful way that the only way to truly appreciate the refined uniqueness is to visit. Words don't do the experience justice.
Spa, world class.
World-class amenities.
They have created a truly peaceful escape in the heart of the chaos.

My favorite place for relaxing massages and the best facials ever. Very clean, friendly and professional staff. I love it! Come and see for yourself. I recommended it!
I am usually a Marriott person, but this was an invitation for an event so I went non Marriott for the first time in a few years. I got to say i was impressed. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was super friendly and the overall ambience was great. If Marriott would be gone tomorrow and this hotel had a rewards program, I would be there again!
10/10 SERVICE
10/10 EXPERIENCE

This is not my normal wax place, but I came here in a bind based on the reviews and was completely pleased from the moment I walked in the door.

Katrina at the front desk was SO helpful she made sure I was able to get the right appointment and services.

Ciera was my esthetician and she was kind, quick and thorough. I’ve been getting Brazilians for 10+ years and this was almost completely painless.

Even though I have a place that I’ve been loyal to for years, I may have to cheat on them with this location. 🥶

This hotel is the epitome of luxury. I recently spent three nights at this location and even with a few minor mishaps, I still give this hotel five stars. I arrived to the hotel around 4:45PM and my room wasn’t ready which usually isn’t an issue as I am a patient person but I was sick. I really just wanted to get in bed. When I get to the room, the smoke detector is beeping and it takes them, another 20 minutes to fix it. The hotel staff was lovely going out of their way once I told them I was sick to make a special soup for me and special tea. Gym, pool, restaurants, Jazz Club we’re all fantastic. I will return.

From the “Welcome to the Hotel Chelsea” to the “ Thank you so much for staying with us and come stay with us again soon”, our journey at the Hotel
Chelsea was incredible. This hotel deserves the highest ratings given to a property. Tracy who checked us in gave us a complementary upgrade to an even more fabulous room than we had booked. We opened the door to our very spacious, meticulously clean , totally fashionable, and over the top luxurious room. From there, our stay continued to be 5 star. The lobby bar is a throwback to an era when cocktails were king and they have fully revived the experience. A Glamorous, exclusive feeling yet still totally welcoming. Climbing into bed we snuggled in our Italian linen sheets and woke up refreshed and ready to
enjoy the grand marble bathroom . 4 nights of absolute bliss. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to our upcoming stay in November.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Oasis Day Spa during my trip to NYC, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Doug provided me with the Muscle Meltdown massage, and it was exactly the rejuvenation I needed to kickstart my vacation. The results were immediate and astounding – not only did I wake up the next day without the typical post-massage soreness, but I also found myself walking around the city with a noticeably improved posture!

The ambiance of Oasis Day Spa truly lives up to its name. The pristine cleanliness paired with the calming environment made for a genuine oasis in the heart of the city. My partner and I took advantage of the sauna and shower rooms post-service, and the sheer relaxation we experienced made it incredibly difficult to leave.

In summary, Oasis Day Spa has set a new standard for what a spa experience should be. Highly recommend for anyone in NYC looking to escape and rejuvenate. A perfect 5 stars!

We had an amazing 6 nights stay at this hotel. It is a landmark building, carefully renovated and with a lot of attention to detail. The service was really good, friendly and genuine. We had a little medical emergency and the staff did everything they could to assist. They even checked-in on us several times the next day(s) by calling our room and checking all is ok. Also every special request was answered immediately and the bell boys are super nice and helpful. The rooms are large for NYC standards and we loved the bed! We didn’t try the bar or restaurants but they look stunning. Would definitely stay here again.

My mom, sister and I came here for a spa day on our girls weekend and had the absolute best experience. Atmosphere was spectacular. The staff was so kind. We were treated with champagne. We all did facials and full body massages and everything was incredible start to finish. I had Maria for my massage and it was hands down the best massage I have had. It was very relaxing! I highly recommend booking a treatment here and if you snag Maria then you are in for a real treat.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Incredible service as soon as you walk in the door. Stayed in one of their one bedroom suites and it was absolutely amazing. The entire hotel including the lobby bar and both attached restaurants are insanely gorgeous. The breakfast at the lobby bar was delicious. There is immense attention to detail in every nook and cranny. Beautiful art all throughout the place. The amount of history in this hotel combined with a fantastic renovation by Sean MacPherson made this one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had, even though it was just one night. Jake at the front desk was incredibly sweet and helpful and made our visit even more phenomenal. Such a great place. Will definitely be back anytime we return to NY. Thank you!!!
Far from being a historical curiosity, our stay at the Chelsea was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had in NYC.

Yes it’s loved in chic, with long term residents still roaming the halls, small elevators, a tiny lobby and architecture that was last modern in the late 1800’s. But that seems to just make it feel more like where you want to be.

The artwork, placed everywhere and all the way up it’s central staircase, will get you roaming the hallways, only to discover hidden rooms, unexpected passageways, and magical doorways into history.

The bed, in the New York spacious room, is so comfortable you many never get up from the haze of the night before without the help of a room service fresh coffee on the balcony overlooking the bustle and sirens of Manhattan on the move with service is so authentic and responsive you will feel cared for from the moment you arrive at the hotel at 4pm or 4am.

But the real reason to stay at the Chelsea is experiencing the Lobby Bar. It must be the most beautiful, comfortable, nook and cranny, den of creative iniquity since the cocktail was invented.

The bar team, Natasha, Beau, Ny, Fern, Mathew and more are pro’s who also show up with personality and endearing charm. And the patrons match their spirit. The people watching alone justifies the price of their drinks.

It’s a crime to never leave your hotel to experience the best of NYC, but in this case, it’s a crime not to experience the best of NYC at the Chelsea.

And make sure not to leave your lover at home. If there ever was a destination for love and memories the Hotel Chelsea is it.

Thank you for just being as you are.

We will be back.

Money can’t buy fitness 💅

I have been a member of Crunch for many years, so was excited to try something new.
What a mistake.

Upon entering Equinox High Line, the first thing I noticed was the size of their clientele.
In Crunch, one is often greeted by a range of svelte men in their mid 20s, former college jocks and fitness hungry mums.
Gone was this crowd, replaced instead by the sort of person whose body wobbles every time they do a bench press.
I fear a lot of them had subscribed to the view that, when paying $500 to join plus $250 a month for fitness, the pounds should just magically melt away - even with just one gym visit a week!
Ladies, gentlemen and people of non-specific genders, I am afraid this is not how your body works.

Slightly perturbed, I made my way over to the machines.
Shock, they were EXACTLY the same as the ones in Crunch - with the same layer of icky bacteria on the handles to match.
The rowing machines were fun but, again, same as Crunch.
Carpet was nice and hoovered well, just like Crunch.

Baffled, I began to survey the gym to see what it was actually offering that might justify its ludicrous price tag.
I noticed an ironic fridge filled with scented towels on one side, a nice touch but hardly necessary. They also had edgy taps to dispense water - also nice but not needed.
Confused, I asked a member of staff whether the scents in the towels would somehow make your muscles grow faster. They looked about as confused as I was.

The sauna was nice but, again, hardly merited all the hubbub and chit chat that surrounds it.

If you have a couple of hundred to piss up the wall, then, rather than giving it to this gym, I would suggest you donate it all to a homeless shelter. That might actually make the streets of New York safe enough for that morning run you crave!
I have been coming to Faina for over ten years, it is a relaxing, clean space. The massages and facials are wonderful, and they’re very affordable offering monthly and seasonal specials. Highly recommend.

This gym is still operating on pandemic hours.

M-Thurs they close at 10pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 830pm at the latest.

Fri they close at 8pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 630pm at the latest.

Sat-Sun they close at 7pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 530pm at the latest.

This is unacceptable for NYC. I raised the issue with management and they gave me a bunch of nonsense about assessing demand… blah, blah, blah. Well, you could close at 2pm and you’d observe attendance dropping around 1pm, so spare me the corporate doublespeak.

The hours at this location and the company’s rationale for permanently shortened hours are absurd. This location should return to pre-pandemic closing times of M-Thur 11pm, Fri 10pm, Sat-Sun 9pm.
I couldn't get to my usual young lady, so I did any wax specialist and I end up with Rasaisa. She was such a sweet person. And I am very sensitive and always expect a lot of pain. None at all. I definitely will book with her again.. Beautiful young lady. Book with her..
I wanted to take a moment and congratulate the team at The Hotel Chelsea. I was so impressed by the renovations, my luxurious room, the attentive and professional staff, and the bohemian history of the hotel. The room was spacious and well appointed and my partner and I found our 4 night stay to be one of the best experiences we've had in a long time. NY is always magical but even more so when you find an incredible hotel to love.

I was looking for something fun to do for my firms yearly outing and decided a spa day would be a nice choice! I was browsing on google and came across Oasis Day Spa along with a few other places. Lillian, the General Manager is what really sold me on Oasis! She was fantastic to work with. She answered all my questions quickly and was extremely helpful. She made the process so smooth! I had so many last minute changes and updates and she went above and beyond to help.

Now to get into the spa itself - just WOW! When you first walk in the space is GORGEOUS! The front desk girls are very professional and friendly. Majority of my group got the Oasis Signature Package and everyone was so satisfied with their services! The massage felt soo good! My masseuse founds knots I didn't even knew I had. She was fantastic! The facial was also so relaxing! My face never felt so clean. The body scrub was a lot of my groups favorite service! Our skin was so soft after the scrub. Everyone was raving about relaxing it was and they understand why people go to spas now! I am definitely planning to come back again next time I want to treat myself.

If you are hesitating on whether or not to go to Oasis, GO! It was 10000% worth the price point. I feel the services we got was well worth it.
The hotel itself feels fantastic, and the service is good. The speakeasy bar is sophisticated and cool, and overall, the place is nice and quiet.

However, the café's menu is not balanced to my taste for brunch or lunch. They need to work on the menu, but it's still an okay place to eat.

Great stay at the Hotel Chelsae in NYC!
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with the warmest smiles and excellent customer service that made me feel right at home. They even upgraded my room free of charge:)

The beautiful decor exuded a unique charm that blended classic elegance with modern touches. It is evident that they take great pride in maintaining their aesthetic.

The location was great . It was conveniently situated, allowing me to get around NYC with ease.

One minor con would be that the elevator was pretty slow. Thankfully, I was only on the 2nd level, so I decided to take the stairs most of the time.

Despite that minor inconvenience, I would absolutely stay at the Hotel Chelsae again without a second thought. The wonderful customer service, the stunning decor, and the fantastic location all contributed to an unforgettable experience.

Randy provided great customer service to us as well as the security guy and everyone was so nice and accommodating. The room is beautiful, there is a lot complimentary good quality water in the gym so it is best to get water from there before going to lunch at their restaurants as they charge $14/ bottle for same water as what is complimentary at the gym. Gym is excellent has things in there I haven’t seen in some of the other fine hotels in nyc.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the renowned Fouquet Hotel over the weekend, and I must say it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a truly remarkable stay.

The level of service at Fouquet Hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our entire stay. Their dedication to providing personalized service was evident in every interaction, making us feel valued and well taken care of.
Furthermore, the staff's willingness to accommodate our needs was exemplary. Whether it was arranging a late check-out or providing recommendations, they were always ready to assist and cater to our preferences. Their genuine desire to make our stay as enjoyable as possible was truly commendable.

The Fouquet Hotel also boasts an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that is unparalleled. The entire team seemed genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience for their guests. This genuine care and attentiveness added a personal touch that made our stay truly memorable.

In conclusion, our weekend at Fouquet Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The exceptional service, attention to detail, and hospitable environment left a lasting impression on us. I highly recommend Fouquet Hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience. Whether it's for a weekend getaway or a special occasion, this remarkable hotel is sure to exceed your expectations.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I travel to all of the best hotels in the world and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was charged 30 dollars per bottled waters each day was a 4 k fee along w the surprise 9 k additional charge they charged me for one massage on top of a kids meal room service. It was just awful and so over rated. after asking what happened w the 10 k extra my butler took 4 days after I checked into the hotel to tell me the charge for a kids meal and one massage was normal pricing which was absolutely absurd. I’d never recommend this hotel to anyone that knows about good hospitality and has good taste in hotels. Compared to all Amans this was the worst and I’d never ever go back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Guerlain Spa at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, where I experienced an extraordinary scalp massage performed by the talented Maria. From the moment I stepped into the spa, I was greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff that set the tone for a truly unforgettable experience.

Maria's healing hands worked wonders as she addressed my specific concerns, providing relief to the inflammation in my knees and legs during the hour-long full body massage.

However, the real highlight was the scalp massage, which was unlike anything I had ever experienced. Maria's delicate touch transported me to a realm of pure bliss, balancing invigoration and relaxation in the most captivating way possible.

Her expertise, combined with her beautiful spirit, created an atmosphere of comfort and care that enhanced the therapeutic effect of the treatment.

The entire staff at Guerlain Spa was knowledgeable, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring my visit was exceptional from start to finish. I highly recommend Guerlain Spa at The Plaza Hotel to anyone seeking a truly transformative and rejuvenating spa experience.

Aman New York is an exquisite urban retreat that exudes sophistication and offers a unique blend of luxury and tranquility. With its impeccable design, attentive service, and prime location, it comes close to deserving a five-star rating.

The location of Aman New York is exceptional, situated in the heart of Manhattan. Its proximity to renowned attractions, upscale shopping, and vibrant dining options makes it an ideal base for exploring the city. The convenience of having everything at your doorstep enhances the overall experience.

The accommodations at Aman New York are beautifully designed, showcasing a seamless fusion of contemporary elegance and timeless charm. The rooms and suites provide a haven of comfort and tranquility amidst the bustling cityscape. The luxurious furnishings, high-quality amenities, and attention to detail create an ambiance of refinement and sophistication.

The service at Aman New York is attentive and personalized. The staff members are friendly, professional, and strive to meet the needs of each guest. From the moment of arrival to the time of departure, the staff is committed to providing a high level of service. However, there were occasional instances where the attentiveness could have been more consistent, which prevents a five-star rating.

Dining at Aman New York is a culinary delight. The on-site restaurants offer a range of gastronomic experiences, from innovative creations to classic favorites. The quality of the cuisine and the attentive service contribute to a memorable dining experience. However, the options for dining within the hotel itself are limited, and more variety would elevate the overall dining offerings.

The wellness facilities at Aman New York are exceptional. The spa offers a range of rejuvenating treatments and therapies, allowing guests to indulge in relaxation and self-care. The fitness center is well-equipped, providing a space for guests to maintain their fitness routines during their stay.

One aspect that could be improved is the overall ambiance and vibe of the hotel. While the design is beautiful and sophisticated, some areas lack a warm and inviting atmosphere that would enhance the overall guest experience.

In conclusion, Aman New York is a luxurious urban retreat that offers an exceptional experience in the heart of Manhattan. The impeccable design, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service create an ambiance of refinement and tranquility. While there are areas that could be improved, such as the consistency of service and variety in dining options, Aman New York provides a memorable stay for those seeking an elegant and sophisticated escape in the city.

Near perfect experience in a Chelsea King for 3 nights.

On the plus side:
- beautiful hotel with interesting history and a lot of charm that does not feel “old” in a bad way
- rooms are very quiet, windows are of a high quality blocking the sound
- rooms are very well renovated and relaxing, the light fixtures are beautiful and you can create a very dim atmosphere
- the materials in the bathroom are luxurious and beautiful, the shower was huge and very enjoyable
- the bed and the sheets were super comfortable
- excellent service, fast and friendly
- the location, of course, is good, with plenty of transit options all around, and a midtown location that makes it close to a lot of NYC sighting

We will come back if we can (rates were good on this July 4 weekend, not sure it is always the case), and maybe one day in our dream just buy one of these room for our own pleasure, you never know :)

Maria - at Guerlaine Spa- is simply an excellent professional masseuse!
After her 1and 1/2 hour massage I have slept well for the first time in 6 months. She simply got rid of all my stress knots! Can’t wait to go for my second treatment.
My fiance and I went to the Titsou bar to enjoy a couple of drinks a few nights ago. The music, the decor, the vibe, all amazing! The reason I'm not putting a 5 is because, our waitress (Anna I believe, she has dark shoulder length hair), was being very flirty with my fiance to a level it made the both of us uncomfortable.

She touched his shoulder while gazing into his eyes, she kept on complimenting him, she almost got my order wrong... We finished our drinks, paid and immediately left. I honestly appreciate having a friendly waitress/waiter, but Anna(?) was very unprofessional. It's not a healthy way to deal with customers.

We might come back in the future and give this place another try because it is stunning! Hopefully, I can give you a 5 star rating next time!
Two stars because my therapist was very good; but the spa itself is terrible and has nothing to offer especially for the price
When I say I LOVE THIS HOTEL, I mean I *LOVE* this hotel! I came for a business trip for the week with plans to leave and check into the new Aman come the weekend, and I ended up coming back because I adored it so much. The aesthetics, the service, the spa, the restaurants, the rooftop, the speak easy - it is all absolutely divine. The only “downside” is that you’re in the heart of NYC and you won’t want to leave this hotel!

This is a true five-star luxury property.

After seeing a reviewer comparing this property to a Marriott, I decided I had to check it out for myself. Rest assured this property is, indeed, on par with Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula, Four Seasons or other luxury brands in the city.

There are certain trade-offs that all hotels in Manhattan have with regard to size. The same is true here. However, the build out, facilities, and staff are excellent.

There is always going to be someone to complain about any hotel but there’s little to complain about here.
We stayed at the Hotel Barriere Fouquet's New York for two nights over the Memorial Day Weekend. We travel extensively and stay at some of the finest hotels. This hotel was so perfect. We loved every minute of it. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are beautifully done, the restaurants serve great food, and the bartenders make great food. Next time you go to Brasserie Fouquet's restaurant and sit at the bar, ask for Charlie. He Makes the best drinks and is fun to talk to. This hotel is a "happening place." Make sure you visit the rooftop and order drinks. So beaufiful on the roof. We honestly could not think of anything negative about our stay. Plus it is located in Tribeca which is the best area in the City to stay.

We highly recommend this hotel the next time you visit NYC. 5 stars all the way.
Stayed here for 4 nights over MDW. It's a gorgeous new hotel, uber stylish and fabulously French but most critically - Fouquets delivers real 5 star service to back it up. Small things distinguish them like:
-charming and delightful welcome amenities (I won't ruin the surprise but if you have a sweet tooth you are in for a treat)
-room service is fast and accurate
-concierge was able to get me dinner and spa reservations at the hotel on short notice despite initially being full
-room key worked until the my late checkout time with no issues

Basically... they are a 12/10 on style but also have their s*#@ together, which can't always be said of trendy new hotels.
The room was great - tons of storage space and seating, large windows that open to let in fresh air, and a fantastically comfortable bed. The common spaces are similarly top notch, including a good sized gym and beautiful, well-appointed spa. Plus there is a shady, spacious outdoor rooftop reserved for hotel guests.
Edit: I did not have the best first experience at Faina however I am adding stars because of their prompt response and immediate rectification of the situation. It's clear that they are professionals that care about client experience. Im happy to give it a second try.
Extremely disappointed. The AC has not been working for over 2 weeks now. Asked several times about it. They keep saying "we are looking into it" etc. I am sorry, but paying the hefty monthly membership fee to workout at a gym without AC is unacceptable. This is supposed to be "High-end".

Additionally. The hours of operation are the most ridiculous thing I have seen. Weekends closes at 7PM? Wow
Amazing! Staff here are welcoming and it’s a joy to see Chelsea. She listen to you and takes her time to understand your specific style. Chelsea also makes sure you’re comfortable, and is very friendly.

Unacceptable Equinox experience. There were no benches, aging equipment and no towels to be found for more than a half hour. The front desk staff did not seem to care, considering many others in the locker room were complaining. The brand has gone downhill in recent years, clearly cutting corners to cut costs and of course raise prices. Will be considering cancelling until issues are resolved and implore others to think about the same. The beauty of NYC is that there is always another, often better, alternative to most things.

Excellent Spa from the atmosphere to the staff. I always do the signature package & it is definitely worth the money. A pure day of relaxation. NYC location, Michelle will provide an exceptional massage & Ofie gives the best facial & scrub. Would definitely recommend this spa.

I visited the place again today. It's surprising to find that their operational hours remain unchanged, closing at 7pm on both Saturdays and Sundays, even though the COVID-19 pandemic has long since ended. The maintenance team's presence can be rather overwhelming; it's not uncommon to see vacuum cords haphazardly spread out during peak hours, leading to members often stumbling over them.

An unfortunate incident happened today, where a man was unable to handle the weights on the bench press and dropped them onto his chest. Instead of offering assistance, the maintenance team just vacuumed around him as he grappled with the weights. Thankfully, another member stepped in to assist him. It's disconcerting to realize that the staff here lacks both knowledge and initiative, a combination that could potentially lead to legal troubles for the gym due to their incompetence.

Moreover, it's a regular sight to see members monopolizing multiple machines during peak hours. It's not unheard of for individuals to leave their belongings on up to three machines simultaneously. Management should email members of this gym, reminding them of proper gym etiquette rather than allowing a hostile environment to fester. I’ve seen members get into arguments with each other when a rude member is monopolizing multiple machines during a busy time. To put it bluntly, this gym is far from an ideal workout environment.

The sole reason I frequent this gym is due to its convenience – its location just below my apartment, coupled with the fact that its membership fee is bundled into my rent.

Always a fantastic workout experience when I go to the High Line location - I love the open concept of the weights area and the spaciousness of the locker room. Also, the yoga and Pilates studio upstairs have amazing views of the high line and all of the instructors I’ve had were top notch. Will return every time I’m in the area!!

My wife and I had such an awesome experience here. Did my first reflexology and facial ever in my life. Lin did a wonderful job with the reflexology. My experience with the facial from Monica was incredible - skin has never been so smooth and soft in my life. Highly recommend.

I strongly believe that my appearance it has a strong impact on my energy level and my mind health. I love to get a compliment on how I look, so I learned to take care of myself and to make this a priority simultaneously with my professional career oriented life. My girlfriend surprised me for my big birthday with a gift certificate at the prestigious and beautiful Guerlain spa in the historical Plaza hotel, the quintessential staple of luxury and style of New York City.

My experience at the luxurious Guerlain spa was nothing but an out of body experience.
The moment I stepped in, the adorable receptionists Cassandra, Mev, and Kay welcomed me with smiles and a drink of my choice, I choose Champagne, of course :)
Then, I was accompanied to the steam room and the shower, which I enjoyed as complimentary of my facial session. Right after, I was welcomed by a truly genuine warm heart lady, Antonina Dutu, the esthetician who gave me an hour of bliss. I felt deeply rejuvenated and deeply relaxed.  All I remember is the amazing velvety hands of Antonina massaging my face with a divine elixir that left my face soft and supple.
All together, this was truly remarkable and memorable time spent. That was nothing short of absolutely amazing. I'm definitely going back soon for another session. Thank you, Antonina and Guerlain spa, for this special time. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to spoil themselves with such a great experience.
Treated my daughter to have a 60 minute full body massage for her Birthday. The Spa sends you a survey to ask your preferences but do they read it is another story. Unfortunately it did not turn out well. She was disappointed with the massage, she asked for deep massage and felt as if the lady put suntan lotion on her for 60 minutes. For the price that was paid, totally disappointed.
DO NOT BOOK. We were 7 minutes late due to nyc traffic. They deducted the time. By the time I got into the bed for a 30 minute massage, I was down to an eleven minute massage. They charged me full price. Very snotty staff and the massage wasn’t even that great. The music sounds like youre in a torture chamber. DO NOT RECCOMMEND!
Had a 90-min massage yesterday. Service was performed by an Asian female therapist who repeatedly said she was “confused” with my pressure instructions and that she was “not sure” if she could do a deep massage today. Moreover, the therapist lacked training in both proper service manner and massage technique. Massage was at times extremely sharp and uncomfortable, resulting in discomfort and pain even a day after. Front desk did not bother to ask how the service was. Will not return.

My friend and I traveled to NYC for a quick girls weekend and came here for a mini spa day. I’ve been to quite a few spas and this one is by far the best. The staff are extremely attentive and they space the appointments out to minimize overlap in the common areas with other guests. We had the fall/winter package which includes a body treatment and massage and it was amazing. We left making plans to return in the summer for another spa day. If you have any doubts on whether to book, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

My time here was amazing! The staff was friendly. The entire spa was clean, with a relaxing atmosphere and decor. I had the 60 minute Clinical Massage and my masseuse was soft spoken and kind. I never had to ask him to adjust the pressure but he did check in with me. He used hot towels multiple times which felt amazing and had a warm cucumber water waiting me after the massage was done. I sat in the dry sauna for 10 minutes at the end and left feeling relaxed and happy. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize Veronika, my exceptional nail technician. I get gel manicures every 2-3 weeks, and have had many quality nail technicians over the years - but Veronika's attention to detail and dedication to her craft is above and beyond.

Taking my nail shape, desired look and preferred products into consideration her approach was meticulous in every detail; and a world apart from the "paint job" that many less skilled technicians rush through.

I only wish I lived in NYC so I could see her on a more frequent basis. For nails, look no further - Veronika at the Four Seasons Downtown is the BEST OF THE BEST!
Great experience, staff went above and beyond to make our visit super memorable!
I was really excited to book a session with a friend that's a healer here. After booking, I was sent a confirmation where the price was $75 more than listed on the website. After speaking to a manager, the Four Seasons takes no accountability and just chalks this up to a "glitch" in their system. Whereas in reality, they just hadn't updated their website; falsely advertising services. I definitely don't feel comfortable supporting a company that behaves this way. Isn't this considered fraud and deceptive marketing?

Oasis Day Spa-an unexpected delightful experience in the Big Apple. It's truly an underground Oasis. From first entering through the side of the main street, I immediately felt calmer. This is my first experience in a spa like this. Albeit super shy, the experience was wonderful. Front desk associates were super polite. After check in, you'll be taken to the locker room area in which you'll strip down into your birthday suit. They provide a nice robe and slippers of your size. (Although, they do have a size limit for the larger feet) the main collaborative area with other clients is tranquil. Provided were lemon or cucumber water. Small snacks such as banana chips and mixed nuts were also self serve. For some calm, there's chamomile tea and more. My masseuse, Kenny, walked me through to our room. The cute part along walking the halls were the little sachets of lavender, which were indicators for rooms occupied. I had gotten the deep tissue massage. Boy, did he introduce me to new knots i didn't know i had! Haha 🤣 he was very respectful and knowledgeable on his craft as he took time on certain areas in which i had injuries (which he didn't know about before hand. Example-knee) with the full body massage, you may request certain areas to be focused on alongside. He also told me beforehand if there were certain areas that i would prefer he not go to, i to tell him. Which was a great consideration! After the massage, which, was wow, i went back to the main area to rest a bit. In the women's locker room was a small sauna. The recommended time is 30 minutes, with instructions provided on the outside. Overall, i spent 2.5 hours here. Enjoying the ambiance alongside looking at their store which had items such as: creams, serums, candles and more. I'll be back soon :) 10/10 recommend.

Amazing top notch spa. Everyone is super professional, sweet and eager to give you a relaxing experience. I had the urban escape package which included massage, scalp massage with hair mask, body exfoliating and a facial. The massage was one of the top 2 massages I’ve had. And the facial by far the most relaxing as she also provided foot reflexology which was out of this world. The spa manager is incredibly kind and makes sure you had a good experience. The pictures do not do the location justice as it’s much more beautiful in person.
Had a very positive experience here - the staff are helpful and the therapist was very good at being attentive to pressure, pain points, ticklishness and temperature without distracting from the relaxation of the massage. The environment is simple, clean and soothing. And the cost/value is excellent. Only two little negatives - it's a little difficult to figure out which is the right entrance the first time you go and there was a little bit of sound bleed from the nearby rooms.
This is the worst place to go for massages (especially deep tissue) that I've been to in Manhattan--and I've been to dozens. The masseuse had no idea what she was doing, performing the same 2 light strokes for 50 minutes. She didn't ask if I needed more pressure or how it was. I tried to tell her where to concentrate but there was no English. She just did whatever she wanted. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because they were (from what I could tell) clean and reasonably nice. The sandals and robe were actually painful to wear. For massages instead try Haven Spa for the same price. My fiance and I are appalled at how boring and lazy the massage was. Would NOT recommend -- maybe I got a bad day but do not risk it! And if you are the manager please speak to your staff who gave a lazy deep tissue massage.

Loved it. Can't wait to come back. Visit NYC and unwind here. Shame so many fake reviews because of the political climate. Typical of the people doing it not thinking of the staff who's job's rely on visitors. Shame on them

Upscale, luxurious, excellent service.
I took my girlfriend to the spa on her Birthday as a surprise and I had gotten us a couples package with champagne and chocolates. Our package included the massage, body scrub and facial. And I'm glad I had booked this because it was one of our most enjoyable experiences and my girlfriend was very excited and happy with the services she got. All of the staff were very attentive and acted in a professional manner. I would recommend this spa to anyone and we are planning to come back very soon!
I usually don't like facials however, this is the best facial of my life. I left the spa with glowing skin and felt very rejuvenated. I also want to shine light on the very relaxing and thorough couples massage I received with my partner. The massage therapists were very attentive as well as the staff. The overall atmosphere of Faina's European Day Spa was calming, relaxing, and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this spa for its overall wonderful experience, attention, and affordable pricing! I will be returning very soon.
This place has specials all the time, which is fantastic because I can actually afford to go here once a month! Everyone from the front desk to the therapists are all extremely nice and professional. The environment is clean and comfortable. I was there with a friend last time and we both left relaxed and rejuvenated. This day spa has the best massages in New York City and the best facials in Midtown Manhattan. I can't wait to go back and experience a Couples Spa Package!
