The shop has everything even the new Taylor Swift Time Special Edition. The owners are terrific and friendly!
Went here 2x at different days, both employees (lady and younger guy) show how much they hate their job. They roll their eyes at you and act like they are lifting stones for you if you ask them for something. Go to Walgreens, they actually smile at you or say hi.
Jason and Kelly are awesome! They have such fun inventory (hello pickle lays, little sesame hummus and Moshi drinks!!) and are so kind to all. Love having this shop so close to home
Pharma associate was very helpful with fixing an account issue I had. Glad I switched over to Walgreens!
The staff is awesome. Today, Jamaal, Ashley, and Tyrone gave me the best service. This place is awesome and huge on service. Tyrone makes the best chicken salad sandwich in the DMV.
Do not always treat customers with respect they deserve
The people that work here are rude and obnoxious. Not willing to help anyone. Came inside to get some medicine and my 3 year old needed to use the bathroom. Someone told me it was downstairs and to the back. We get downstairs and the people cleaning said they just cleaned the bathroom and we couldn't use it. Then they continued by saying they didn't have a bathroom available for customers and that they didn't need to give us special treatment. Avoid at all costs!
I came upon this amazing shop while searching for a hard copy of the Atlantic for my Mom while she’s visiting because she wanted a specific article. I was surprised to find it’s nearly impossible to find hard copies of news in most of DC! I went to Kramer’s bookshop, but they don’t carry magazines. They pointed me to the Newsroom. What a gem! I felt like I was back in the Dupont Circle of two decades ago before all the franchises came in and Chipotlified everything. I had a lovely chat with the Kenyan and Guatemalan owners and ended up getting a bunch of magazines and newspapers. They were so kind- they gave me free recent copies of the Atlantic for my mom. There is something so soothing and cathartic about the smell and vibe of a news shop, and being able to turn pages and really take in content. I’ll definitely be back!
Nice store all items is good
I come here like once a year or two. The pharmacy techs are actually pretty nice and caring. The problem is the non stop spam this company uses. Regardless of subscription status they just keep emailing you now. It used to be once a week now it’s like twice a day begging me to come to their pathetic store. Really sad. Will never return to a Walgreens again just because of the spam.

I went here because it started pouring in the area and turns out they have umbrellas for less than 10 bucks! Random but good to know! The staff was nice and I didn’t have to wait long on anything. The location was clean as well. No complaints about the location or service.

Their selection of snacks and drinks is limited. They do have some options, but not a lot. The store is very small and doesn't have much of a selection for much of anything, including toiletries. However, the staff members are very friendly and helpful.
The clerk was not very patient. She was very short with her response to me asking for double bags. I usually have a good shopping experience but today was different. Her attitude sucked

I recently went to this CVS because I’m touring dc with some other students from my school. One of the staff members was so incredibly nice and made that small stop to CVS one of the highlights of the trip.
The Blue Crab Breakfast bowl was off. Love this place but maybe they had a bad day with prep?

This was a great opportunity for me to be at this establishment its very open to options, I think every one would enjoy this establishment.
The prices are absurd and the employee there just told me today that the prices are going to keep going up and that he doesn’t care if they go up for the people in the neighborhood which of course is mostly black… This store has been getting over on people for a long time and it’s getting worse they make up prices and now the prices are even higher than they were before a dollar soda rock creek is now a dollar and 50 Cent.

VERY expensive, bordering on criminal. No prices on shelf/produce so you find out at checkout.

The office crew might have tried everything on the menu here already, and there's not a bad option we've found :) plus I like to peruse the take-away beer selections. Wines are just as fun to explore, though I haven't taken a bottle from here yet. Prices are a bit higher than other options around, but very healthy and portions are satisfying.

One cashier very friendly and nice
Great Chinese grocery store - the owner was very helpful and they have an impressive selection of stock for such a small store. The prices were about the same as any other grocery store in central DC, and considerably cheaper for some more niche ingredients (like star anise).
Friendly staff, the A/C is not strong enough
The only thing that has changed about this store are the owners and it's cleaner food is fresh but the prices are so high that I'd rather take the long trip the grocery store instead
The staff run this place like a budget zoo. Wildly unhelpful, random unposted hours, unfriendly. Whatever, if you need something, walk over - they might be open and your item might be there! Good luck shoppers
Walk in to that amazing smell of printed paper 🤩 bc this place has big stacks of backstock newspapers plus all those magazines. The owner is a friendly news nerd and the staff are great to chat with. They cater to people who’ve got particular news needs, like the entire last month of WaPo for people who were traveling, or special issues for people on EBay. They also print out newspapers if you want the international version of NYT, or Le Monde, etc.
Went for coffee before a show in the neighborhood. SOOPER nice people working there. Pretty decent beer selection, too, with a lot of local brews. Definitely recommend.

Love this neighborhood market!! The staff is so friendly - they always put a smile on my face. And they really have neatly packed so much into the store! Fresh fruit and vegetables, dry goods, milk and dairy, fridge and freezer items, and a great wine and beer selection.
I know it’s a privilege but I’ve never been watched by a police officer while trying to find popcorn. I guess theft is a problem but don’t police in DC have something better to do than give me an anxiety attack in the snack aisle? I went in the store with my girlfriend and son to get snacks to take back to our hotel and the entire time cop man is staring me down. The cashiers were nice but they were beefing with a coworker who kept staying in the back room. I tried to break the tension by saying hello to the officer and he continued to stare me down in silence. It started to feel like the twilight zone.

Not open 24 hours as it states on their google listing. They need to update their hours. They do offer fresh tobacco products. Drinks, snacks. Customer service is okay, sometimes the staff can Be rude. Some folks are a bit dry and rough. Just for your info, they never answer the phone.
this place is actually the worst. awkward entrance. I paid for something, gave it to my mom, went to the bathroom that wasn't "out of order" which has been a trend here in D.C... he banged on the door and told me to leave cause it's not a public restroom, which I'm a customer since I paid... no longer a public. however I was already peeing. everyone heard this encounter and he just stood outside the door arms puffed like I actually did something wrong lmao. I didn't. I don't doubt the nature of the rest of the reviews.

The store was nice and clean, the clerks respectable. The only problem for me is these stores in poor neighborhoods take advantage of the fact that poor people don't have access to other stores with competitive prices. They inflate and gouge prices so much.
Since New Owner came, it clean & the foods were fresh. Great place to run to for a snack. I hope the new owner keep it up. I was to keen with the old owner. They were ripping people off.
I went to this CVS on certain occasions and I was discriminated against and even had an employee to try and fight me in front of the manager which is not good customer service. Someone should see about these people before situations escalate to where it shouldn't.
I used the application Radical Storage to use this location to store my luggage while traveling in DC. Awesome service and very friendly staff! Would definitely recommend.
My everyday needs store community orientated
Since the new ownership of that store. They are doing alot of better servicing. No more expired foods n all that .. And that place are very clean as spotless Im started go to that store again.

Solid spot to drop in for a sandwich and a coffee, breeze through for snacks, or putz around for scanning their vast beer and wine selection depending on your mood. Items are well priced and the staff is super friendly. The cafe does offer vegetarian and vegan sandwich options. The chai tasted strange.

The selection of magazines is mediocre. Most Barnes & Noble have more titles. No serious design, architecture, or art mags.
Good if you need to grab something really quick. Some things are a little more. But it is convenient. Everyone is nice and friendly!
Packed into a single shelf in this cramped bodega are the incredible ingredients necessary for Chinese home cooking and at super reasonable prices.

Great little market, small but that is how I have found most places in D.C. to be.
My husband met the owner when he dropped in there to pick up some gloves and and umbrella. The people there were amazingly helpful. He and my husband exchanged numbers, as both are business minded people. When my husband returned back to our hotel to get dressed for the evening event we were going to, he discovered he had left his cuff links. He called Steve hoping He may by chance carry them in his store. Steve did not. However Steve called Macy’s and went and picked some up AND brought them to my husband at our hotel. We paid Steve and wanted to give him extra but Steve wouldn’t take it. He said it was his pleasure and in his home country they believed in helping others. This place has an amazing person working there!

I found out that they are perviding service of convenientes in area that is red drug zone. For to hear complaints people is virtually annoyed by me. I figured this if wasn't there look how much farther you must travel to store.
It's a fun place to go there's movies bowling there is of course the sports arena there's the museums the art museum is two museums in one and really cool stores that you can find that sell things that you could only buy in this area of town like Chinese herbs of all sorts and things you would think you could only get in China.
Capitol Supreme Market is a legacy on Capitol Hill. It's a small corner shop with all the basic goods from candy to milk to flour. If you're in a bind and can't make it to a grocery store, head to Capitol Supreme Market. They also have plants for sale outside near the icebox. Across the street is a park with a great playground for kids. The market is a great place to stop for a snack after your kids play.
Went to shop here on Tue June 18th, spent $169 and wasn't offered a receipt. The temperature was in the 90's factoring in the high humidity. Was there on Tue and then again on Thur June 20th (today). Went back today to get my receipt back. Even had pics of all 30 items and she did refund items I brought back today. However, the cashier refused to give me a receipt. Said she could give me a written out receipt. Not good enough for my employer, do yourself a favor and don't shop here......
This little place has everything you need! Hot food, cold drinks, coffee, Wi-Fi, dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating! I ordered a bacon and cheddar breakfast sandwich and it was ahhhhhmazing! Probably the best bacon I've ever had on a breakfast sandwich ever! Then i saw this massive chocolate chip cookie - and it too was soooo good! The little market has everything you need in case you forgot something or something comes up.
This is an incredible store for someone who cares about their news. They have a wide selection of magazines, not just American but international as well. They also have a wide selection of newspapers. And, here's the best part: if they don't have the newspaper you want, they will print off the full edition for you. They have access to thousands of newspapers from around the world in their database. No matter what you're looking for, this is the place to find it.
Minute Clinic?? Huh, clearly by name only!! What a joke, first in the building 2 minutes after opening, first to sign in yet a message came back and said I had a 107 minute wait. Really? For What? You could hear crickets it was so dead and quiet in there. If I am going to go to a Urgent Care facility, I will skip CVS in the future, and go to a real one.
It may be small but the owner (who is from Hong Kong) is nice and has been here forever (decades so I’m told). I was able to speak Cantonese with him and his store is well stocked. Although very small... he has his selection of veggies and snacks. Imagine a 7-11 mixed with asian stuff as well. Worth a stop if you’re passing by, even to get a cold drink.
This place is located near Federal Triangle, which I believe is the closest pharmacy to this mass of federal buildings. There is usually a crowd at this location, but the store has two check out lines, one for people who want a cashier and another for those who don't mind self check out, so the lines usually move along quickly. Now that this store has a second level, the variety of items available has grown. The staff normally are upbeat and helpful.

Cramped and pricey but has those obscure Asian ingredients that you can't find anywhere else. For example, Chili Garlic Sauce (the one with the rooster). Also Szechuan peppercorns.
