I have been to a many breakfast places in Bloomington, and this place is by far the best. The food and service has always been excellent in all my visits. Also the food comes out very quickly and is always cooked to your specifications. The only complaint is the dated decor and ambience as it’s like they are going for 5 different aesthetics at one time and nothing works. But who cares what it looks like if the food is too notch and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.
Been going there a long time. I have gotten to know the girls on first name basis. All great servers. The food is good as well. You ought to try their mushrooms and fried green tomatoes.
Food was fine. Biscuits & gravy excellent as was the reuben. The grilled cheese was a bit of an anemic affair.
While laying over in Bloomington, I found this great restaurant just a short walk from my hotel, Fairfield Inn. They only serve breakfast & lunch.
I came in for breakfast on two occasions. Both times I had amazing Omelets. One was the Popeye, Spinach, Bacon & Swiss Cheese. The other time I had a Spinach & Feta, to which I added more Feta, Bacon & Mushrooms. Both Omelets were of good size, with Crispy Hash Browns & an English Muffin. Delicious & prepared perfectly.
They didn't have Green Tea, so I had my own Tea bags.
My amazing servers were Rain & Brooke. They both were very polite & professional, and took care of my every need.
Highly recommend the Cozy Table if you want a great breakfast.

It's a simple every Midwest small town style restaurant I go to for breakfast. Reasonable on prices.. food has been consistently good. (I get the same thing every time). My only knock is I'm a Tabasco guy and they seem to have every other hot sauce but that one
We chose this local mom & pop restaurant for it's hometown feel, and had a wonderful brunch here. I ordered the Special #6, and my husband ordered the strawberry crepes. The Special was perfect for me. The crepes came with cinnamon dusted on them, which was a new flavor combo with the strawberries. Had we have known, we may have asked to withhold the cinnamon. Loved the Mason jar syrup pitcher! All in all a great experience.
Our first time here & it is by far our favorite breakfast place in Bloomington. We tried the waffle sundae, chocolate chip pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. Reign was an excellent server. Definitely will be back!
Provided salsa with the cheesesticks instead of marinara which ruins the appetizer.
The gravy was average, the toast was squishy, the hashbrowns were burnt on top but also mushy, the country fried steak fell apart. Could have been better, could have been worse. Definitely don't recommend takeout from here.

This is a great bagel spot. The hangover bagel was excellent. Very nice outdoor seating. The staff was polite and friendly and the service was fast. I’m not a coffee drinker but I was told their coffee and coffee drinks were very good as well.
This place is great and the prices are amazing. Food service done right!
My husband and I ate here for breakfast around 7am on a Thursday. My husband and I both had coffee. I ordered the skillet with an English muffin. The English muffin - omg- was toasted perfectly. My husband ordered a 3 egg veggie omelet. The waitress was friendly and very busy. It was very reasonably priced.
Gross bagels, worse coffee. As Jon Stewart said when he came on his comedy tour, “that is not a bagel.”

My partner ordered a bagel sandwich. They forgot the meat. Their solution was to get provide a side, instead of remaking the sandwich. Because that’s what we all want when we order a bagel sandwich.

Stuffed cream cheese pancakes drizzled with Strawberry syrup and whipped cream were amazing. Pancakes were soft and fluffy on the inside and nice little crunch on the outside. Strawberries were fresh. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating to our needs. Our food did take a little while to make but I didn’t mind waiting when it tasted as good as it did. Plus also the waitress kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. Overall, I would definitely recommend here.
Best breakfast in Bloomington! I ordered the club #4. Which comes with 2 slices of French Toast, 2 eggs and ham and I also ordered a side of bacon. Orange juice and water to drink. The total was $10 and some change before tip. First, the French Toast was amazing. You can actually taste the vanilla which is something a lot of places get wrong. The ham is the real deal. Not a round slab like most places and you can see from the picture that the ham and eggs are cooked perfectly. Just like they came out of grandma's cast iron skillet. This is the best looking place from the outside and the entire is definitely a little dated but the food more than makes up for that. Highly recommend you give them a visit.
One of my favorite breakfast items has been removed form you menu. I do not go to breakfast at CB as much anymore because the eggs in a basked is not on menu. The food was well prepared.
This was my first visit and the service was fast and friendly. Got the Club #5 and everything was cooked very well. Got sunny side eggs and they were perfect. Biscuits and gravy were scrumptious. Recommend if you want a good home cooked breakfast in B-town.
It is a townie family restaurant. The food is standard American fare. Tastes good, fills you up. It ain’t gourmet, but it fills you up and is perfect for a winters weekend breakfast. I do recommend it and personally I would go back. In fact I do go back there about once a month. The biscuits and gravy is good. The eggs and omelets are good.
Management went out of their way to make some special accommodations for me. We were pleased with the food and service on a very busy game day.
Food was really good, seems like they really put in effort to make everyone happy!! The bagel itself is thick and can be hard to chew but overall flavor was good! I also got a strawberry smoothie that sadly wasn’t good at all! Tasted like nothing but yogurt and was so thick it wouldn’t go into a straw!
My food was delicious, especially the cherry topping for my pancakes. I had salted carmell syrup. I had a omelet with mushrooms, peppers, bacon and sausage with American cheese. The service was good and the food came out quickly.

Arriving late and leaving early, I did not have the opportunity to enjoy a meal this time at the Cracker Barrel. But the Cracker Barrel completely supports the RVers and so I owe them a breakfast!
Yes, RVs are allowed to use the Cracker Barrel parking lot for overnight parking. And if you're one of those people, I just ask that you please be respectful of the space. Leave it better than when you arrived.

This was my first time at this breakfast place. We got there at 9am on a Sunday and there was a table open. By the time we left there was a line of people waiting. Everything the 4 of us ordered was delicious! Quick service and efficient too. They asked for a coffee refill like 15 times. The menu was huge and had a Greek spin to it. We got the American skillet which was delicious and came with a side of pancakes (but I upgraded to the French toast). We also got the corned beef Hash skillet, and an omelet. The pumpkin pancakes were tasty too. The atmosphere was just like a family owned diner and I could tell the owners right away as they talked to almost every customer, joking with things, saying hi to people they knew and asking how everything was. It was also reasonably priced for the amount of food you got. We will be going back too.
Food is average and the servers are somewhat attentive. I had the lox bagels and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are odd, and not very traditional. I can taste condensed milk. The lox bagels smelled very off, and the white onion was off putting. I will say their coffee is great though.
I love Cracker Barrel for their country store alone!

After previous bad experiences at different Cracker Barrel locations, this location provided a great experience. The food was delicious and waiter Lucas was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
Overall a great experience and the prices were right. I ordered the biscuits and gravy as I always do when I visit places that are known for breakfast food. I'd give it an overall 7/10. My only criticism being the biscuits could use some work. I'd recommend a larger biscuit with more flakiness. The gravy likely needs more pepper. Good consistency though. My wife ordered the club sandwich and it was as you'd expect. No issues. My kids had sausage and eggs. No issues to note with their meals. Service was good albeit a little slow to get the food out. Almost forgot, the hash browns I received with my biscuits and gravy were subpar. I'd recommend substituting them for something else.
The food is amazing with such a good home-made taste. The store is really cool but way over priced and honestly made me feel claustrophobic. It's a pretty busy restaurant so expect it to be kinda close quarters with everyone at all times.
Super yummy local spot! I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s definitely one of my favorite Bloomington breakfast places. It’s affordable, the staff is really nice, and tastes great. It does get pretty busy though, so I would be prepared to wait 15 minutes or so if you go at peak brunch hours.
Village Deli is my favorite breakfast spot in Bloomington. The cup of coffee is surprisingly good for a diner environment. The staff is always friendly and quick to serve you. My favorite thing there is the bagel with lox. It has a good amount of salmon and enough toppings too. The cream cheese is not overpowering. I wish they had other flavors of bagels besides plain but the bagel is good. The bacon is always cooked well and tasty. The home fries are some of the best I have had. They are seasoned well and the perfect bite size! Overall a great place for breakfast. There is usually a wait but they are honest with the times.
This is a very good Cracker Barrel 👏, It's a REAL family restaurant " no alcohol " thanks for keeping family first! We don't go to any Cracker Barrel that sells alcohol, because we don't like the horrible bar experience that those have!
I had a wonderful fried chicken dinner, with okra, mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a great salad, and yes the mouth watering biscuits with apple butter.

We love the Village Deli and today did not disappoint. Tried the breakfast tacos and they were soooo good. Scrambled eggs, potato bites with a spicy guacamole in a soft flour shell & a side of suit! YUM.
Also, had the corned beef hash with 2 fried eggs and a side of toast. Hash was very crispy & delicious
All in all another great meal, dining outside, on Kirkwood with Dixie!

We visited Bloomington a few days ago and decided to come here for breakfast. They weren’t busy so we got seated outside immediately (this was Monday the 25th at around 8:45 AM).
Our server was super friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations.
I got the bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon and a side of home fries. And it was just fantastic all around. The bagel was super crispy and toasty, the egg was cooked to perfection (the bacon was actually cooked into the egg! What a clever idea!). And the home fries were crispy and delicious.
Overall, if you’re in Bloomington for breakfast/brunch, Village Deli is the perfect place for this! I will definitely come back here if I get the chance to be back in Bloomington.

They're known for their pancakes and I'll say that was my favorite part of my meal. I had the Power Breakfast and my scrabbled eggs were pretty plain, almost too thin. The potato fries were also fine but nothing memorable. My wife ordered the bagel sandwich which also was fine. Overall nothing memorable. I did like the outdoor seating and our server was great.
Haven’t been to BBC in awhile but was happy with my experience! Their menu is virtual now but easily scannable when you enter the store. I went around 1pm so it was not that busy. Ordered an egg and cheese sandwich for right around $5. Order came out quickly, <5 min and was everything i asked for! My bagel was soft and chewy, my egg was cooked through, and the cheese was melted!
Complete Disappointment. Overrated. Based on other reviews and pictures I Hyped this place up for family to come (mistake). We love our bagels and visit joints on our travels through the U.S. We had a $40 meal which included bagel sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese and plain bagels. The bagels lacked flavor and were hard (9am). Bloomington Bagel Co did not meet the threshold of average. Also, don't ask for tap water with your $40 meal. You must pay for water.🤦

Great variety of bagels and schemers, but also their scones are out of this world delicious (more like muffin tops really). The lox bagel is still the winner, I will say, for me. Asiago bagel with their surprisingly-spiced garlic schemer.

Our visit didn't start out very well which is not our typical experience with Cracker Barrel. We were greeted and seated promptly as the store was not anywhere near busy. However, for some reason, our server took more time than is appropriate to make first contact. Afterwards, however, the meal went as should be expected. The food was prepared spot on and tasted great
Went on a Sunday morning and was told it would be about 30 minutes until our table was ready. It was worth the wait. We shopped for a bit next door until we were called. Ordered the Paxton potatoes with two eggs up top. The mix of potatoes, sausage gravy, cheese and eggs in a bowl is a delicious combination. Highly recommend the Paxton potatoes and the Deli.
The BEST bagels in Bloomington (Panera sucks)! Very cheap and fast. The bagels are dense yet fluffy with an array of shmears and toppings. The baked goods are also really good.
