The service at this outlet has generally been prompt when we visit, staff is friendly and meets the basic requirements of being in the service industry having been in the same role myself.

HOWEVER recently on 8 Aug 2024, 1.10pm one of the staff decided to speak to my 5yo toddler in a rude, mean and condescending manner. What could have been said in a kind and professional manner was put across in a tone which was truly uncalled for.

There was no apologies and the staff just walked away. This is deeply disappointing and it spoiled the experience for my toddler.

I am so surprised to paid $6.50 for Kaya butter toast eggs with small Tea C siewdai set meal.
Anything’s better?
Except their two pieces of toast come with good butter & Kaya.
Delicious drinks and cake at Coffee Bean as always. We had an iced salted caramel latte (godsent in this scorching heat) and an Americano. Fantastic service from barista Syafiq - warm and approachable.

WORST SERVICE from Yakun Jem branch. Ordered 2 items from cashier, noticed total price missed out first item, informed cashier to add in the missed out item and she made a rude remark “can you order all at once?”. She also reused a very dirty gloves to prepare my eggs. Recommend Yakun management to take action by educating her on the proper etiquette for communicating with customers. She has no basic manners, I don’t understand how is she even working in the service line.
Starbucks Westgate is the place to go for meetups with friends and to buy limited edition Starbucks merchandise as it’s conveniently located near Jurong East MRT station.
Do avoid peak hours as it will be packed with customers, even though there are plenty of seats.
Coffee Bean at Downtown East was a great experience. Both the coffee and food were good as always, and the service was excellent.

Nah. Not here for food. Kinda burning time here to wait for a discussion. Interesting enough here you get to see ppl doing their remote work and ambience noise is low. Guess 10-12pm is a good timing to grab a cuppa and do ya remote work. Oh service is 5 star cause they send their food to my table!

There are only 2 self kiosks and QR code scan show account deleted.

Staff is shouting loud at order like he is not happy to work here.

No receipt given must enter email.

Very waste time.

I rather order from McDonald.

A simple meal order of a zinger burger can take 30 mins . With the servers taking own sweet time to compile the order . And my zinger burger is still in the display area and not willing to pass to me
Good n now it’s 24 hours so any time easy access
Take away order is very bad as they don’t give the sides like butter or jam for the waffles even salt pepper for scrambled egg n staff need to be trained
Had a good breakfast here, there's an ongoing promotion now for 2 breakfast platters at $10. It's a good deal and it tastes great too. Coffee included! (Spanish latte)

Service
Ordered a cheesy pockett, received a spicy pockett.
Went to the counter to exchange... The first staff that gave me attention.. didn't speak at all.. when I was done, he gave me a look that was irritated and angry and just turned away without saying anything.

The other staff (tag shows "trainee") was polite and asked me what do I need. So I told him. He turned around and called for a cheesy pockett.

Food
When I returned to my seat... Opened the pockett.. to my surprise, the wrap was so crispy it felt like eating potato chips.. not exaggerating. See photo for how it looks like when I crushed a small part of it with my thumb.

Atmosphere
The counter were shouting nonstop the receipt numbers. Totally destroys the whole dine-in experience.
We're always a regular customer here, always happy to have our breakfast because of the old uncle and one old aunty. Always smiling and friendly. But today, this young lady in black shirt(cashier). She was rude and inpatient, giving black face while taking orders from customers. After handling the cash, she did not use her glove to crack the eggs. Do you know we just got through with COVID and this lady still have not learn how to handle food procedure especially under food n beverage line... So unhygienic!! Very disappointed how she prepared my eggs...I requested for half full boil eggs cause I am pregnant tat I couldn't eat half boil cook but she gave me full boil eggs...disappointed in my breakfast. If I'm not wrong, she might be the manager or supervisor. But is this how you show as a role model to your staffs and customers?? Need her to go for her training course, F&B and service line.

The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and ample seating made it an inviting spot to enjoy a cup of coffee.

I had the Chicken Ham & Cheese Egg Crepe Wrap under their Breakfast Club Set.

The combination of succulent chicken ham, cheese and caramelized onions wrapped in an egg crepe provides a satisfying and flavorful meal.

The crepe itself adds a light and delicate texture to the overall experience.

Having said that, I personally would prefer it to be less savoury.

Pairing this savoury wrap with a well-brewed latte makes for a perfect morning treat. Whether you're dining in or grabbing it to go, Starbucks continues to deliver quality coffee and breakfast options.

The free Wi-Fi makes it an excellent place to work, study, or simply unwind.

Remember to explore their other offerings and enjoy your next visit! ☕🥐

This prata shop was highly recommended by my sis and after trying it out, it becomes our family's favourite too. If you love crispy pratas (so what if they are more deep fried than pan fried!?), this is a must-try for you! Their chicken murtabak is very filling and worth it. Teh tarik is good too.

Prata here aren't tasty for me. Had 1 plain and 1 egg onion. Looks very crispy on the outside but the inside not that good. The plain was very doughy and it was chewy and not crunchy. The egg onion had so much onions in it that when I cut into it, water was oozing out from the prata. There were too much onions and a tiny egg in the middle of the prata. The egg onion costs $3. It should have been more eggs not more onions. I didn't even finish what I ordered. The positive is that they converted this to an air condition place so it nice and cool inside. I probably wouldn't try their prata again. They have other items on their menu.

Ordered the matcha expresso fushion.

Strong and intense.
Big merchandise.

Had waited for twenty minutes for my queue number before I headed to the counter to ask if it was going to be ready soon. Only then was I told by the staff that another customer had wrongly taken my order along with her own order. I wondered why my queue number was never called when the food was ready. Anyway I was told to wait for a new set to be prepared, and it tasted underwhelming like it was made in a rush.

Food is perfect, egg isn't cooked to drippy consistency. Atmosphere is great to hang out and talk together with friends late at night.

But what caught me off was the poor service. My friend ordered two pieces roti prata, friend 2 ordered fried rice, I ordered fried Maggi. Friend 2's fried rice came first, followed by mine. Friend 1's roti prata did not arrive, but we didn't thought much of it. But after abt 20 minutes of waiting, he asked the waiter for his roti prata. He claimed he 'got his order' and told him that it's on the way. 15 minutes later and it did not arrive. Eventually, he cancelled the order. Service could be better given this is a 24/7 restaurant.

Summary: Just skip this place if you can.

Ordered Maggie goreng on a Saturday evening, about 530pm. Initially nobody wanted to take my order but they were cheery. Then after ordering, we waited and waited…. Food came at about 6pm, not kidding. We were joking are they cooking Maggie goreng or Buddha jump over the wall 🤣🤣 Then came the food and it was seriously meh. Very salty, although ingredients was okay. A sunny side up with few cubes of chicken and some strands of veg. $5.50 for one of the worse Maggie goreng I’ve ever had. Many people in the kitchen area but no one cooking. Almost ordered prata but saw that their prata were just served from a plastic box and straightaway drizzled with curry. Not fresh and not warm.

Eggs were overcooked (yolks were semi hard). Coffee and tea a bit bland. Seats are uncomfortable and no one cleaned the tables after diners left.

A very good Prata place in Jurong East. The pratas are crispy on the outside by fluffy on the inside. Fish curry is quite normal but the sambal is to kill for.

Queues can develop very quickly because the place is small with limited tables inside and outside. So come early during mealtimes.

The prata was uniquely different from the usual. It's crispy, and the dough seems thicker and not as flaky as compared to the others. When soaked with the curry gravy, it has a nice chew to it.

The prata bomb was mixed with butter and sugar. Calories are at the top end of the chart! 😂

The owner was a young Chinese man who bought over the place 6/7 years, and they kept the same recipes.

Pretty nice prata shop, quite popular among the locals. Tend to be packed during lunch and dinner and there's not enough seating both indoors and outdoors. Sometimes I just bring the meal to the hawker center next door to get vacant seat.

It has huge list of prata meal to choose from, served with fish or daal curry and sour sambal. The prata is thin and crispy, with just a few layer - more akin to murtabak instead of usual prata. The kothu (stir-fried shredded paratha) and briyani are served with decent portion (together with sides) and priced reasonably. The teh tarik tastes like what it should be - strong black tea with enough fragrant spiciness.

The prata is crispy and taste more oily which feels that the prata was fried in oil to make it crispy. Personally I prefer it if it’s less oily. We sat in the outside as the interior is stuffy. The kitchen is inside but yet it’s air-conditioned.

I tend to write positive reviews. And, I just disregard locations or services I feel don't make the cut. But here, I just want to say that 24-hour halal food centres are few. And never was I disappointed with the selection of food or drink no matter the hour. However, I will definitely NOT rely on this restaurant in the wee hours of the morning.

The mamak stall in Yishun offers an authentic prata experience with an extensive variety to choose from. While the options are plentiful and flavorful, the downside is the lack of ventilation, making it a bit warm inside. Expect a bustling atmosphere, as it's consistently packed. Despite the heat and crowd, the delicious prata selection makes it worth the visit for those seeking an authentic taste of mamak cuisine.

Ordered lor mee ($5.50) from the tze char stall beside the goreng pisang stall. Food was served to my table quite fast. Quite vinegary but also quite salty. Had fishcake, some fried white fish fillet, sotong (first time having sotong in lor mee), beansprouts and some small prawns, and yellow noodles in a piping hot gravy that held its drinkable consistency even as it cooled down. No lumpy sauce here! Almost burnt myself eating but hey, I like my food temperature really hot. Better than warm / cold food any day.

Sat near the smoking corner that had a plastic divide (doesn't help). Will choose other indoor tables further away from smoking corner next time.

This 24h coffeeshop has other stalls, all halal. Drinks stall, prata / mamak, fish soup, fishball noodles, tze char and goreng pisang stall. Will be back to try other food as I'm bored of the other coffeeshops around here. Prices still okay or can be a bit high like fish soup $6.

Located in the community hub of the area with plenty of parking available.

Thosai is very well done, crispy around the edges, light and fluffy when you get into the middle. Accompanying sauces are pretty good pairs well with the bread. Fried fish looks unappealing but the marinate and flavour is spot on. Fresh, crispy outside and moist meat when you tear it open.

Wow! Jurong point Toast Box official goes frm bad to worse since they changed all their staffs at this outlet to vietnamese.

We need to queue up for 30 mins just to order food. The counter is in a mess, with the cashier lady can’t multi-task, keep looking at the grab orders but keep the persons who queueing up waiting for her to sort the grab orders. The cashier counter was full of receipts, in a big mess.

The language barrier is another thing, they just can’t get the orders right and lots of miscommunication. Last visit few months back, I thought maybe they were new so can’t really get the orders right. But today still the same.

I can only say, cut cost to hire other nationality workers are fine, but make sure as a franchise outlets, the workers are well trained.

I will not visit this outlet at Jurong point anymore, will choose yakun for next time when I need a local breakfast.

The management should look into this issue seriously.

Give credits when it’s deserved
Only the place is worth praising

Staffs were quite rude and only 1 counter staff handling orders and if customers needs something.

Not typical friendly in responding but maybe giving her the benefit of doubts, overworked

The photos of the food speaks for itself

Spicy dippers right? Fried to the point of …dry jerky!? Really even chewing take ages

The zinger burger, liked a space craft? Presentation - negative rating

Fries - equally fried till it’s so dry n hard.

One of the worst food experience from KFC.

This morning we went to have breakfast at Toast Box. Service is fast and efficient. Unfortunately the food is below expectation as it was really salty can’t really taste much of the “mee siam” flavouring is just lotsss of seasoning…and food make no sense compare to other outlet to Westgate. The Westgate outlet serve much better mee siam especially the gravy is good. Definitely not a WOW. But…iced milo is 5/5, I would go back for the iced milo👍🏻

The standard toast box experience.
Prices are overshooting the inflation rate.

Polo bun and laksa both tastes good and pretty well made.
Not excellent but above average.
Still it does not justify the price of $10-$11 dollars for a laksa set with 1 drink n a small cake.

Tried the curry chicken after getting a $5 voucher somewhere - and wasn’t fully satisfied with the meal.

The curry chicken wasn’t at all spicy, nor was it rich.. It did somewhat make up for it with its portion, which was rather huge - by itself it’s a 2 ⭐️, won’t return to try again

That aside, the drinks are decent and hence why it’s a 3 stars overall.
Me and my wife have always visited this place after work for a late night snack. Ordered the 2 for $12 combo set with 2 turkey egg and cheese sandwiches with hazelnut latte. The sandwiches are delicious, and the latte is just nice, not too sweet or too blend. We enjoyed our time in coffee bean every time we visited, and we enjoyed being there too.

Had a worst milo in my life.
I ordered a ice milo less sweet. They were too lazy to remake it, so they used the pre-made milo and added water to it.
Look at the colour. Can you believe this is a milo?
Love the ambience in this branch diring weekdays as it doesn't seemed to be as congested as some other outlets we have gone to. The matcha latte was too sweet for my liking & I re-ordered another premium brewed tea to go with my salad. Love the service too as the staff were very helpful and even offered me a refill of hot water for my tea! I would definitely drop by again for more tea and try out their pasta during my next trip. Highly recommended!
There's this auntie at coffee stall who used to serve drinks to consumers. Ever since she is promoted (now stationed inside the drinks making station), she will guai lan nearly every customer who placed order.
Must remind her to give me my 10 cents change as she buay zi dong.
As resident of this neighbourhood, i eat salt more than she brew coffee. She is ultimate hopeless with her attitude.

Tried their Cheese Balls for the 1st time ever and omg I could hardly see nor taste the cheese, which was a big difference from its menu photo.

Menu photo shows cheese filling on the round side of the balls. But the actual product was all flour/cake and the cheese was barely there on the flat side of the ball. There were 2 balls that didn't seem to have any cheese at all!!!
Been here since our teenage years. Great spot for Indian food, be it dining in or takeaway. It does get crowded on weekend mornings and the service can be pretty slow then, so try to avoid peak hours.

If you like flat crispy kaya toast or you've never tried a local Singaporean breakfast, do order Set A. You can just have the kaya toast without eggs as an ala carte order. It's a quick tasty snack for breakfast or even tea. However, am thoroughly disappointed with the watery slop of what they call tea. It had such a mild tea flavour that you might as well order hot water with some milk. The owners should do better QC (quality control) with the beverage.

Seating is quite packed and fairly close, due to the odd L-shaped space of the cafe. However, ordering service is fast and tables are cleared quickly for a good turnover rate. Better to order takeout if you can't find a seat at peak breakfast or tea times. Atmosphere isn't so noisy in the early mornings.

This is my go to outlet for the morning wake up coffee.

It’s also very popular and would be full every weekend. Weekdays will begin with a queue when the outlet opens.

As usual, the set A and set F would be the ones I go for. The coffee is the perfect level of sweet and mix of coffee. The bread is done just right and I enjoy the thick slice of butter in it.
The steamed bread is thick and good.
Eggs are done just nice with bright egg yolks.

Other then the crowd, this outlet is one of the better ones.

Update:
Came back for lunch.
Had the satay chicken nasi lemak set.
Quality food, hot and tasty chicken satay, nice Chili to go with the rice. Rice was lacking in coconut flavour but I still had an enjoyable quiet lunch. Coffee rounded up the meal.

Lovely.

It's like every other Starbucks located in a busy mall, but their interior design is quite atas. However, their staffs seem to be actually very slow in delivering the drinks. Have never tried the food in Ya Kun until today I decided to give it a try. It turns out surprisingly good. I tried the Nasi Lemak, which is very fragrant, they didn't skimp on coconut oil despite the cost of food going up!
The curry noodle was great as well, chicken meat very soft and tender and no chickeny taste!
Too bad ran out of laksa, will come try that next time!
The ssry ban means here is good but I can't say the same for its soup so order yourself a kopi-o or teh if needed. Another stall worth a mention is the Hong-Kong Roasted meat very nice.

Great location, superb for a coffee break whilst waiting for your kids’ classes. Offers the usual ya kun fare. Coffee is inconsistent, sometimes feel a bit bland or sour. Eggs are normal, toast are normal. Nothing fanciful but really pricey. 2 slices of kaya toast with coffee and eggs cost $5.60.

Located just at the carpark entrance on level 2, convenient for a quick bite in the afternoon.

You can’t really go wrong with their food, across their various branches. This outlet has ample dine in areas which are air conditioned. Coffee and eggs are good. Toast is pretty dry though and the fillings for the kaya balls are too hard and little.
Reasonable price n food not too bad..

Today I tried the $6 Prawn Noodle here. 5 ½ Prawns for my $6 bowl and I find the broth doesn’t have the thick, prawn taste like the more legendary ones! The overall taste is acceptable! The Red Chilli Powder is also not as spicy too!
If you are craving for chicken feet noodles, dumpling noodles or shredded chicken hor fun, I highly recommend "Guo Qin Noodles" at this coffeeshop. The noodles are cook just right and the sauce and their chilli are really nice. Do asked them to add more chilli to give you that oomph. They normally serve with fresh cut green chilli. The chicken feet are braised well so it's nice and soft. The dumplings are nice and plump with filling of minced pork and prawn. They serve a generous portion of shredded chicken for the hor fun. You can add on the fried wanton which is nice too. Another dish that they serve is the pork ribs noodles if you like something for a change. The pork ribs are nicely braised too. I order takeaway from this store at least twice a week. I am sure you will enjoy it.
If there is a minus star, definitely goes to 631 Teochew Porridge selling economic noodles in the morning. The 2 staff are rude to every customers. Avoid the stall unless you are dying of hunger.
This outlet serve the old times favourites eggs and bread cum tea coffee plus the modern add on like laksa, noodles and rice. Ok place to hve a bite

The staff members are polite and very efficient. Personally think that the Kaya is too sweet. Other than that everything is good.

Had the pancakes, the ba chor mee, the roast pork rice and the prata on separate occasions. The food is above average, but not quite rave worthy for me except maybe the prata - it's very crispy and well done. There is plenty of options in the KPT and the place tends to get pretty crowded around lunch time even on Sundays.

Very fitting of a family cafe. The Aunty that takes care of the tables is so attentive to service. Offers ur bag a chair as well. I would bring kids here definitely just because of the Aunty. Spacious cafe with a nice view of the atrium as well

Very average eatery. Bought from the stalls here a few times and not that impressed. The food tends to be a little more expensive than comparable ones, and while portion is healthy, taste wise is underwhelming, at least for the prata and rojak. Iced lemon tea is also very diluted. Plus the place has a lot of smokers and due to the close table arrangements, you are forced to inhale the 2nd smoke. Even with young children around, the smokers do not bother to abstain nor will the eatery staff do anything about it. Plus the tables and chairs can be a little dirty and not cleaned properly sometimes.

Nice ba Chor Mee here! The soup is really flavourful! There is also a pancake shop that sells crispy pancake! Will recommend the coconut and black sesame pancake.

I'm not sure is the workers' attitude or lack of ingredients .. We were there to get our supper last night. Ordered mee goreng.. Maggi goreng.. Fried rice.. Sup kambing and nasi briyani. Mee goreng had nothing in it.. Just plain noodles with dark soya sauce.. Not even a stripe of beansprouts or vege..not even with sambal.. N yet tasteless at all.. We all were very very surprised n dissatisfaction with the food. Eat halfway n end up in dustbin chute. Haven't mentioned that each of the food was priced at 5-6 each. Sorry to say even hawkers economic noodles looks n taste better. Sup kambing was just spiced with water, only 4pieces of small cut of meat in the Sup..n not to mention was full of grease. Chicken Briyani rice just don't feel like it..to cut the bad time short.. Too harsh to say.. We hope you may cheat us that night... But hope that others will take note. That's our first and last. Next time we definitely go for McD. Thanks

It's a Starbucks! This outlet is situated at Westgate shopping mall Level 2, very near the entrance to Jurong East MRT gantries. Place used to have air-conditioned and non air-conditioned sections. Now it's all air-conditioned. Gets very crowded during peak hours. Crowds were mix of working class and students. Came for the Grapefruit Passion Jewel, it turned out to be a kind of fruity bubble tea (using pearl jellies). Taste was okay, rather sweet. Service crews were friendly, wait time was short. Place was spacious and clean. Baby seats are available. Room sits approximately 65 pax.
Frequent this place as its near my house. Neighbourhood comfort food. Love the springy noodles at the wanton noodles stall. The fish ball noodles and chicken rice is also pretty good. Coffee price is abit higher than the opposite coffeeshop though.

They have one of the nicest Indian rojak here. Also very yummy Maggie Goreng and shiok shiok Teh Tarik.
The economic fried beehoon is extremely greasy, almost like an oil spilled pollution just happened. Taste mediocre & nothing to shout about.

But probably its main biz is economic rice & the pre-office hours food is not their expertise - just to generate extra revenue during morning rush hour.

Elderly service crew appears rude to customers. Probably lack of training, hence, would recommend her to take up some front line service course.

Can give this stall a miss if in the neighbourhood. Will probably stick to the wanton noodles & chicken rice here instead.
The noodle stall uses very springy noodles cooked just right. The dumpling noodles seasoning, tasty and not too oily. The chilly paste complements the dish very well. Dumpling can be tastier, but the whole shrimp in them makes up for it. Really good value at $3 per plate. Efficient service too. Definitely a better version tried, so far. Stall is named 国钦.

Here for dinner. Ample seating area. Service is good. Food prepared in good time despite the brisk customer flow. However the coffee are not as good as other branch. Not quite the consistent taste of this chain.

After enduring the long queue for the mushroom minced meat noodle, I was hoping that my high expectations will get fulfilled. Unfortunately, the fish maw soup wasn’t as tasty as touted. Broth that is supposed to have been boiled for hours actually tasted more like water. Liver was overcooked. The only saving grace was the noodles. And it was just above average. Don’t bother queueing if you are in a hurry.

Halal Coffeeshop suitable for Muslims.
Particularly noteworthy is the crab. I think it was $15 for 2 crabs? Crabs are small, but if you crave for chilli crabs yet don't want to spend much, this is a nice place to go.
