I’ve been here a year ago, checked the menu and i found the price was ridiculous so i just left here. Randomly i poped up here cuz nowhere to go and all the dishes were reasonable price (i guess they changed the menu and price). The food was also ok. It became my fav place now.

Amazing food, but quite costly. Cozy vibe, great option for the winter. The panchan (kimchi) portion can be bigger and not so costly, especially when serving with the ssam.

The service was very quick and the staff were friendly. I had the cheese tteokbokki, it was perfect for the colder weather and the portion size was big. Definitely worth a try!

Good food overall however really can’t take some part of the sweet and sour pork are full of fat, they usually just get rid of in other restaurant however seen about 20% of this serve. Ventilation really needs improvement as my friends and my cloth were all heavily smoked of grease smell after dining here. If these two suggestions can be improved, sure a 5 out of 5.

One of the best Korean food restaurants in the city I would say! Big portions and we loved the appetisers, esp the mini sausages hahaha, the bibimbap, tofu stew and jajangmyeon were well flavoured, loved them soo much! The only thing that could be better was the salt and pepper pork, which was quite dry and there wasn't any dipping sauce :(
Amazing dishes and the portion size is very generous. We went here for a post work dinner outing and loved it. They do sushi train style ordering so it’s simple for the table to get food and fix the bill up at the end. Try this place out next time you’re in darling harbour!

Love the jjajangmyeon, great portions!
However, the fried chicken and sweet and sour pork are not that good. The sauces are nice but both the chicken and pork are a bit dry, not tender enough.
The seats and utensils are pretty clean

My cold noodle tastes alright, but only 1 piece of meat and half egg for $20. And we only have radish for side dish.

Great food and service, on the pricey side. The staff are proficient in both Korean and English. The teokbokki could have been spicier imo but that all comes down to preference. The chicken was so moist compared to other Korean fried chicken places in Sydney. The somek set was a lovely surprise, it's a good deal. Overall, we spent $76.28 for 2 ppl (with drinks). Had a lovely time here!
Went there around 5ish pm and pretty lucky to be able to sit without queue. Quality is definitely there. Free flow greens and side dishes. I really like the marinated crab they give as a complimentary side dish to us (you need to pay after that) I don’t think there is many Korean BBQ that gives you marinated crab.
Service is okay, food quality is good. Would defintiely recommend it.
Korean fried chicken lover's heaven! We tried the soy garlic wings and convenient chicken rice. They have the most gigantic schnitzel burger I've ever seen in my life and the beef bulgogi burger was so good. I absolutely loved the ramyeon as well, so comforting!!

All the food pairs perfectly with beer or drinks, great restaurant for lunch or a night out.

Hidden away at the back of Market City Kogi is a great kbbq place destination when in Sydney. The establishment is modern and contemporary, service was quick and the food was very tasty.

We ordered:
- half garlic soy fried chicken ($25)
- hot stone pot bibimbap w bulgogi ($23)
- pork belly ($29)
- marinated beef ribs (galbi) ($42)

The galbi is a must have if you’re dining at Kogi!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at KOGI Korean BBQ and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere.

Now, let's talk about the food—the real star of the show is wagyu beef meat and a beef rib soup hands down some of the best I have ever had. The seafood pancake were perfectly cooked, possessing just the right amount of flavors.

Beyond the delectable cuisine, the attentive and friendly staff added to the overall dining experience. I look forward to returning soon for another memorable meal.

Really enjoyed the food here! I love their Korean fried chicken, and I tried a pork and cold noodle dish which I’ve never tried before - it was refreshing and a great share plate between 2!

They also have amazing cocktails!

Service and food are perfect. I and my daughter enjoyed very much our time there.
The only thing we concern is loud Korean music. I understand that maybe the owner wants to attract and impress customers, but it’s so loud that I felt headache. I think it would be much better if they can turn the music a bit lower.

The snow chicken is definitely delicious with mayo chilli, but the ham and sausage soup is salty, cheese corn is ok, the food is great overall great, but the music is a bit loud, should low volume down a bit🤗 order 3 items around $63 for 2 people
Very spacious restaurant with nice atmosphere. It made me felt like I was in Korea.

The food was big portion and meat was really good quality. Most surprisingly was the spicy marinated crab as a free side dish (but not refillable). The other side dishes and veggies can be refilled unlimited by yourself.

However, the service was not very impressive. Every time the waiter came to change our barbecue plate, he didn’t say anything or trying to remind us. He just took it away and held it to expect us to put the meat on the new plate. We actually don’t mind to transfer the meat by ourselves but it would be nicer if he could voice out and communicate with us.

The restaurant is also very strict on time limit, we have 90 mins. They will remind you 10 mins before the time finish. So if you want to have a long dinner, may not be possible here.

Best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had! Would definitely come back for this again. This is a great place to share dishes as a group as they have hot pot and other stuff as well as the fried chicken. Easy ordering online and staff were good with their service. It’s on the pricy pricy side but a nice treat.

It’s my first visit for dinner ☺️
We had Chicken soup for $30, Fish Roe with soft tofu for $25 and Rice wine for $16.
6 small dishes came first 🥰
I like that Korean style🥳👍🏻
The soups were quite good 😋
Chicken soup was a big portion for one person.
I couldn't finish it.
I’d love to try Korean BBQ next time 🥰
Normally, I am reluctant to go to cheap Korean BBQs and am a loyal regular to Kobe Wagyu BBQ (although that's Japanese) but at more than half the price, I have to say it that Kobe was definitely not twice as good as Butchers.

Yes, they don't have fresh sashimi and not the top grade meats Kobe is famous for but they have a better selection of marinated meats, and if you get there early, you get some quality cuts of wagyu too. They have unlimited uncooked banana prawns, a good variety of cooked food, fried prawns, salads and condiments.

The service is attentive for how busy they are but we had a gas cylinder that was almost out to start with which ruined the first batch of meat we cooked and they come far too often to change the cooking plates which means the temperature drops again. They should really train their staff to wait till the meat is cooked before they change the plates.

Nevertheless, the value is excellent for the price and will be back!
One of the best kbbq restaurants in town. The side dishes are self-refill and the meat cuts taste really good. Kimchi jjigae is a must try, the flavour is excellent. I recommend coming early as there can be a bit of a wait to get your table.

Best restaurant to recommend 🙌
Been here a few times and the place is an absolute surprise every time!
5 stars 🌟
Seated in 15 minutes for 10 people on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner with no reservation, waiter was very accommodating and communicative with wait times.

Grills were changed consistently and heat was great on the grills.

Amazing range of high quality meats and sides to go with the dishes and the fried chicken is very good here.

Hands down to the best KFC! The honey soy garlic chicken was scrumptious and I’m currently craving for some right now! Meat was really soft and tender 🫶🏻 yumzzzz!

We ordered the Korean Army Stew as well and it was delicious! However, do take note you’ll get quite thirsty after eating it 😅 service was prompt and it’s really crowded during dinner time. The KFC was the star here and I wish I could try all the other flavours! 🥹

Good job and much love from Malaysia!

We have been here twice. Far better quality and quantity.

The owner (we guess) was helping us and giving us tips.

We ordered A5 wagyu beef and that was nice

Side dishes added to the beef we had. Which is a bonus

For $92 worth of A5 wagyu, for two people, was enough.

This Korean restaurant serves some pretty tasty dishes.
The spicy chicken is delightful, the skin is crispy, and the sauce is flavourful. But I wouldn't sleep on their chili dumplings, we all agreed that this is the highlight of the meal.
Would recommend!

Good Korean BBQ restaurant. We went to this place for my friend’s birthday, and we ordered beef, pork, and chicken. I love beef rather than other meet, and everything looks fresh and tasted good. Also we ordered one steam egg. Not bad either!
Nice place to have a great dinner with friends or families, recommend for everybody who loves BBQ to try this.
By the way, pls wear your normal clothes, because you might smelled delicious after eating them, hahaha!
Delicious and tasty food. Marinated BBQ meat was great. The free flowing side dishes were great. We kind of worked out the arrangement even though the instructions weren't forthcoming.
There is a requirement of ordering 2 meat BBQ dishes for complimentary side dishes. It’s a bbq venue, so shouldn’t be a problem. The wagyu beef was beautiful and so did the pork belly. Price range from $26-$46. There’s no chicken or lamb. Only beef and pork. Side dishes are unlimited while fresh salad leaf is one plate per table (self serve). Side dishes were delicious. We had seafood pancake which was oily, greasy and lumpy. Wouldn’t recommend that. There’s also 90 min dine in time per table. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. The staff was changing the bbq plate quite frequently without been asked which was very good. FYI, there’s a weekend and public holiday surcharge. Registered as member for points accumulation.

Really enjoyed the food and the vibe here. It was easy to order on the QR code, and the food came quickly.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Fried chicken was crispy and juicy.
The price was quite high, but understandably so, given the location.
First time. But I loved the quality of the food. Personally, I'm a meat lover and I was very happy with the quality of the meat. We will definitely visit again. Next time, I will upload more photos.

Amazing staff, very friendly. Food was really good, personally I think the kimchi stew was the best dish. Overall, good food and good people. Will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant to other people.
Overall it's not bad. There's plenty of options that you will

The fried stuff aren't bad. Onion rings are ok and the Soy fried chicken quite great. Good selections of meat as well, and taste just ok.

Fried rice was decent as well as the other entree type food. No complaints really.

What they could work on is generally the way to cook the meat and service. The flame from the grill isn't strong as theyre trying to finish the gas to the last drop. Which means the meat aren't charring. It's cook, just not charred.

Everytime you call the staff to change the grill plate, it feels like you're bothering them.

Overall, there could be improvements but good enough for the price and taste.

Average food and service. The hotpot ($60) was okay - cheap ingredients and very salty broth. The cold noodle soup ($19) had only 1 piece of meat. Side dishes however were generous. It was a 20min wait in the queue before we were seated. Was hard to get attention from servers for missing cutlery but food came out relatively quickly and we were not rushed to vacate our table. Ventilation is poor and restaurant is stuffy.
We heard a lot about Bornga and being one of the best, so we decided to give it a try. It didn't beat ChangGo in Melbourne, but so far this is the best Korean BBQ in Sydney! They have quick service, they pay attention to their guests, all produce is really fresh, they had a generous supply of side dishes and their cleaning standards were impressive! Would 10/10 go here again, even for non BBQ dishes.

I loved the meat, the quality and quantity are worth the price! The portions is a lot.
The sides are also great.
The only thing that is kinda lacking is the service, it’s very hard to call the staff. Waving them and everyone just ignored us, so had to call them through the website using the call staff button.

And we were almost charged twice for an item because the items were not delivered and we ask again in person.

But overall it’s good, but probably won’t come back again soon for the price and the service.

We came early for dinner on a Saturday so the place wasn’t too crowded. Ordering system is scanning QR code provided at the table upon your arrival. Fried chicken came quickly and was fresh. Crunchy and crispy on the outside but inside was a bit dry out even though we ordered wings. Both flavours were good - soy garlic and sweet chilli. Kimchi stew was quite savoury as well. Ambience was alright but not the best. Suddenly they just turned down the light and it was too dark and there was time when the music was too loud as well.

Food wasn’t yummy I couldn’t finish and got only radish as a side dish. I have seen reviews and came here but I’m too disappointed. Chilli chicken got too much black paper and chilli I couldn’t feel garlic taste. Jajang myeon wasn’t tasty i can say avarage. Sea food jjampong had alotof onion in it not much seafood.. and service was too slow.
First Time trying Bornga for dinner found the service ti be very slow. I take in to consideration it was busy but there were plenty of staff members around but had to track them. Had a time limit to eat as some Korean bbq places do. But this dinner felt very rush as we needed to plate changed on our table and hard to get staff so we were pretty rushed. The food was nice and had heaps of different food to select from. If I did return it might be at lunch time or when it’s not as hectic to get the full experience
Korean restaurant that speak indonesian language. Super love how friendly the waitresses and waiter are . They give free egg soup too
a lot of choices of meat and other fried dishes. Usually crowded but you don't have to wait too long. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Prices are so reasonable for a buffet restaurant. Love it

I like that Arisun has been nicely revamped & the new menu like the DIY rice ball is really good 👍, but I miss the old menu such as the chicken with bones & pork bone hotpot! Fried chicken were alright, but wish that the snow cheese one had more snow cheese! I liked the Seafood Pancake, it was nice & crispy. The tteokbokki hotpot was yummy but the portion was a bit small. Overall, Arisun is still a good place for big groups to dine in the city or for drinks! They open until quite late too!

Orders are done via QR code (which seems to be more common these days, but more hassle when ordering in big groups). Please also note that they accept card payments only.
The best Korean bbq! Everything was very good.
The staffs were all so friendly!
We went there on Sunday night, when we put our name on the list there had 23 groups before us, we waited around 40 minutes!

One thing has to notice is the staff will only grill the food for you then walk away, you have to look after the meat by yourself!
There also has one area that you can help yourself to have more side dishes

Fried chicken was delicious, crunchy and juicy. Flavoring was adequate. Will definitely satisfy any fried chicken cravings.

Venue was a little tight on space between tables. Music was a tad too loud and made it a little annoying for conversation

Overall met expectations and I would recommend to try it out!
3.5 Stars. We only came here because Butcher's Buffet next door was full. Some dishes were great and others were a real let down (like the beef short ribs). Value for money wasn't the best either.

Really good quality food. Fast service and good ambience. You order everything directly from the app they give you and it’s served quickly after.
They food always good never disappointing with the taste, my favorite Korean Place at city top 2....
The food came out quickly, and these guys are so efficient. The table with all the cutlery and ban cha was already there, same with water and cups. But you really got to book otherwise there’s a queue which we saw waiting at the entrance street we were done. The quality of the meat was evident, it was fairly expensive. We ended up paying about 80pp, but we were stuffed. The pancake was great and I enjoyed the bancha. The little placemat which told you how to eat it was thoughtful. Definitely get the egg soup!

One of the best Korean restaurants in Australia.
Having fish moe with tofu soup today, the soup base is full of seafood flavor and the tofu is so soft. Must try❤️
Great selection of tasty fresh food, great atmosphere. They offer a student discount during school days, considering that you come dressed in school uniform and write a google review for them. The manager was extremely pushy about me writing a positive review for them to get the discount, and for this reason, it pretty much ruined the whole experience. I probably won’t be returning.

We had boneless sweet and spicy chicken for share. There’s option for a large size +$19. Otherwise single serve $22 as what we had. The tofu soup i think is $24 comes with rice and side dishes. $6 extra for seafood. We had extra radish for $2. The side dishes were delicious and so other food. I had Korean beer CASS. There’s selection of sojus as well. Queueing wasn’t long for early dinner. Food came fast and service was efficient. The restaurant was packed, people came and go. I think it’s good meal with affordable price in the middle of Chinatown. Would be back for sure.

It’s unanimous- hands down the best Korean bbq we’ve tried.
KOGI is a gem that’s hidden away at the back, on the top floor (3rd) of Market City.
Very modern and contemporary design. Lots of friendly and helpful staff, and super quick service.
The Marinated Beef Ribs were absolutely delicious, and the Korean Fried Chicken was one of the best we’ve had.
The Hot Pot Bibimbap was sensational, but it was the crispy Kimchi Pancake that was the dish of the day!
Everything was excellent, and we definitely need to go back to try all the other dishes.
Highly recommended!

PS: We had a 90min timed booking, but with the super fast service this wasn’t an issue.
Great place. But the price adds up if you keep ordering. The quality of the food was great if you can afford it. Budget $55 per person x4. And always overspend. I prefer n all you can eat buffet.
A really great feed, pancake was inhaled .. the premium beef was top notch as was the pork belly and ribs… the egg soup was an accidental click … but a pleasant accident. This place was humming with a great vibe decor best described as ‘minimal’ but that’s not why you come! Would come back!!
Made an early booking so it was not crowded and service was good. The banchan selection I felt was quite limited but the kimchi was delicious! We ordered the seafood pancake and while it was tasty, we felt there was a bit of a lack of effort as there was a whole stalk of spring onion in there! The quality of meat is good but very pricey for what it was. There was a complimentary steamed egg that the waitress just left at our table. We thought they put down someone else’s order when we told them and found out it was complimentary. It was a delicious korean bbq meal but definitely expensive.

Food was great. Crispy, clean, fresh chicken, incredible pickles, and sides. Cannot fault the food. The service wasn't bad l, but I can't help but feel like we weren't welcome...

Seating wasn't the best either, our table was crowded in against a pillar and made the 4 person table feel like a 2.5 person table. In a restaurant that was at 1/4 capacity, it was disappointing to be placed in such poor seating. This only added to the feeling that we were not welcome.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was blown away by their boneless fried chicken and short ribs - both dishes were incredibly delicious! The outdoor seating area had a great ambiance and added to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and a great atmosphere.
I recently visited Arisun Restaurant for the second time and I must say that it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was lively with a good crowd and great music. What really made the experience stand out was the excellent service from the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.

Overall, Arisun Restaurant is definitely one of the best places I've dined at in a long time. The combination of delicious food, great music, and top-notch service from the staff makes it a standout dining experience. I highly recommend giving Arisun Restaurant a try if you're looking for a great meal and an enjoyable night out.
Convenient location, fresh food and variety of options. They have really amazing variety of meat cuts and BBQ setup’s. Highly recommended for family and friends gathering.
Not a good option for a vegetarian or none-beef eater.
You might end up waiting over an hour if you don’t book or don’t reach on time.

Korean menu specialized in KaoKao.
Price started from $17 with variations mixed of noodles, rice, seafood, chicken/ beef/ pork meat, and vegetables as well.

I recommend Jjangmyun, the black bean noodle, which tastes so delicious.
I love this place, everything was yummy, friendly staffs, however it was quite loud like the people who eats there talk loudly, and it was kinda bothering.

Minus the unphotograph yummy kimchi soup and bunch of meat we order.
The feast was an orchestra of flavors, and the free beverage was a refreshing concerto. Though the attendants were helpful, the raucous ambience sometimes made communication an obstacle course. Alas, the men's lavatory was a putrid dragon's lair, with toilet paper rough as a cat's tongue. Nevertheless, the price was a bargain for the succulent meat selection. All in all, it was a memorable experience!

A warm welcoming atmosphere from Staff and management, really friendly and helpful. The menu was vast and our kids went harry and ordered till the cows come home. The meat was marinated well and the flavours were amazing, the seafood pancake was so crunchy and the serving was huge. So many sides that were available which complimented the meat. Really nice overall and our family enjoyed our experience.
The missus and I were looking for another restaurant and mistook this restaurant for the one we were searching for. What a pleasant surprise to have stumbled upon this place. Located tucked away upstairs in a building. Use the staircase or elevator to reach this restaurant.
Pros:
- Tasty food
- A bit pricey but that's normal considering the high quality meats and ingredients
- Great service
- Pleasant atmosphere
- Clean toilets!

Cons:
- None that I can think of!
