Reviews

A great stay at this Hyatt Place! The rooms were so so clean and quiet, and the location was great. 7 train is around the corner, 35 min away from manhattan. Plus, there were so many great restaurants within a few hundred feet. No sterile midtown hotel vibe here.
My family's holiday experience was a letdown due to the stark differences between the website's photos and the actual reality of the place. Firstly, the location was farther from the train station than expected and didn't feel safe, particularly for solo walks at night. Secondly, the furniture appeared worn-out and low-quality, resembling something you might find at a discount store. Moreover, the shower setup could have been better designed, leading to constant water leaks during use. While this hotel might boast a relatively lower price than city accommodations, I'd caution against choosing it independently. It's crucial to conduct thorough research and peruse other visitors' reviews before considering a stay here.
Staff was very friendly and helpful but the hotel is old and dilapidated. Carpet looks like it has never been deep cleaned or shampooed. Room 701 smells like dogs have stayed there. Borderline cheap motel condition. It is however convenient located to LGA with shuttles that run every half hr so if you have a flight then it is bearable for a night but not much more.
Smack in the middle of Main Street, great and convenient location but not exactly nice. I arrived with the strong smell of garbage/weed in front of the hotel and there was a whole situation with the shuttle service, rooms were decent but for a Sheraton I've seen much better. Staff were very friendly and eager to help.
We had a wonderful stay this Christmas weekend at Aloft. The room is more spacious than the picture lets on, and the hotel feels fancy yet low key. Location is also good, with subway and shops around the corner. Perfect! Bed was a bit too soft for my taste though. A special shoutout to Kimberly for all her hospitality and kind attention to detail - she made our stay. We will be back, and so will our friends :)
We were greatest at the door by Kim, she was very welcoming and helpful, helped us with our bags and resolved an issue with our credit card (bank blocked it). Room is comfortable with a great view, definitely recommend! Thanks Kim
Amazing location, just a few minutes walk to a bunch of train lines. Staff is always super friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. We love staying here!
The location makes up for all the shortcomings. I mean it’s in the center of all the happenings in Flushing, one of the places for authentic Chinese food. You will get fat just eating around the hotel, because you can’t stop tasting cuisines all over mainland , Taiwan, Malay, or even Korea. The hotel is also an icon in the area, with recent renovations, you will love coming here!
Never use the Shuttle Service! Set up a pick up using the shuttle service a week in advance and checked multiple times, on the way to the airport, and was told the shuttle would pick me up only to arrive with No shuttle available! And after getting a shady run around by several employees both on the phone and in person, who refused to present a manager or provide a corporate phone number, they told me to get a uber!!! This is unacceptable! What if I set this up for my grandparents! They would have been confused and stranded at the airport!!
Had major parking issues being charged for 6 nights when I told the valet it is just for one night. The gentleman did not understand and left tag inside the car. Spent close to an hour going back n forth with the valet and hotel trying to resolve.

The hotel front desk had no empathy, and seemed annoyed. I asked for 2 bottles of water thinking it was a hospitable thing to do. Declined and said she has to charge. Didnt fuss and left, but last time I am staying at this hotel. Worst front desk staff. Some were excellent, but most were terrible.
This hotel had actually several benefits:
* Location: very easy to get to from JFK. Even easier to get to Manhattan. The station is literally 1 building away.
* Room: it was very clean, everything worked, it had a safe and a mini fridge.
* Decent Wi-Fi: I don't know why it is still an issue for some hotels, not for this one.
* Great front desk staff: thank you, fast check-in, fast check-out. The hotel sent me a folio receipt in the email, which is also very convenient.
* It has a roof patio where you can go to have a look at some skyscrapers.
* They have power outlets which actually allow you to use your charger, it's the worst when they put the outlet on a bedside lamp and you cannot actually use it.
The bed in our room was comfortable.
I would not say that it is the quitest hotel I have been to, but we got some sleep.
There is also a bar in the hotel.
I'd definitely recommend this one, we'll keep it in mind for when we're going to New York and flying in via JFK.
Mind that there is currently construction in progress right in front of the hotel. Our room was looking directly at it and we did not actually get any discomfort from it.
Ok, I do stay in tons of Marriott properties, and Aloft is the brand that is mostly adequate for my taste. I stayed at this property several years ago, and decided to stay there again for few nights, as all my go to hotels in Midtown Manhattan had unreasonably high rates. The rate was reasonable, the service was friendly, if a bit too casual, but I won't stay there again. One of my main criteria is a quality of sleep, and it was downright horrible. First of all, there is huge construction site on all sides of hotel, and they start early and often (like 6-7 am), and very loud. The street is so noisy at night, and there are tons of emergency vehicles, sirens, honking, and isolation is too poor in the room. Add to it an ancient and loud heating system. So, in a nutshell, if you can sleep through all this, by all means it is ok hotel to stay, but not for me.

The hotel was wonderful! We had a great time while staying there. The room was spacious and warm but if you for a little hot you could crack a window and be fine. The shower was able to stay hot for long periods of time which is NICE during those cold nights. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good and the ambiance was very romantic . Definitely get the pizza! It can be a bit of a walk to some subway lines (10-12 minutes) to get into the city but in total will only take about 35 minutes to get you to the city. The hotel offers baggage storage before and after checkout! I recommend going in the spring/ summer if you want to check out the roof top views as they only open it during that time. The concierge was extremely nice ( a bald man with glasses) !! All in all would definitely book again!
Definitrly a great property.
Full disclosure, I might know some of the management here. If not for that I would NEVER stay in another Aloft ( due to horrendous experience at one in Canada ). But we stayed here, and I will tell you now : this is NOT Montreal. The staff here is very polite. Not just to me, but everyone they interacted with.

PRO

-Very close to the airport. While that isn't always a good thing, it is here.

-Free Shuttle to/from Airport. The shuttles were on time, staff was super nice. The shuttle here has charging ports which I find convenient.

-Pretty good breakfast. The breakfast here is larger scale than any Aloft I have ever seen. The Canadian Aloft didn't even have someone manning the front desk for 12 minutes, let alone food for guests. Meanwhile, this place is buzzing w employees asking if you need anything.

- They have a gym. Gym has treadmills, one bike and other cardio equipment. Plus freeweighrs and a multi function smith machine. Pretty clean and decent.

CON

None really.
A wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place in Flushing Queens. My room was clean and spacious. Plenty of towels were stocked in the bathroom, and towels were fluffy and soft. The in-room TV was easy to use and no channels dedicated to hotel advertising. I enjoyed a late night beer at the nice lobby bar.

The buffet breakfast was good, too. Although I found the scrambled eggs to be lackluster, the sausage, potatoes, and bread were good. The breakfast buffet was also well stocked with juices, teas, coffee, and milk for cereals.

I highly recommend the Hyatt Place in Flushing Queens for both airports: LGA & JFK.
Stayed here this past weekend and the staff was AMAZING!!! The room was clean and throughout our stay the cleaners came in and replenished the towels and the changed the bedding. The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our flight arrived around 8:30 in the morning and all I had to do was call the hotel and they let me know the FREE airport shuttle will be otw at 9. Once we arrived we were greeted by keyri and I thought that the only thing I could do was drop off my luggages and I would have to come back to check in at 3, but keyri was phenomenal and was able to check us in early free of charge!! She was amazing and friendly!! The hotel staff is very efficient and they make your stay as seamless as possible if they can help it. I would say the only "negative" thing that i would say about the hotel was the location if you plan on visiting manhattan. If you plan on being in the city for your trip, this hotel is located in flushing which is about 30mins-50mins away if you're using the subway, so just keep that in mind when doing your itinerary. But the subway station is super close to the hotel and there are many food places and stores near by. All in all I would stay at this hotel again!!
The hotel was fine, just a few minutes from the subway station and in the middle of Chinatown. With the shopping mall across the road, you have everything in just a few minutes walking distance. The room was alright, a bit smaller than expected, but it was clean. The view from the rooftop bar is great and when the Mets play, the stadium really lights up. Even with La Guardia airport in sight, we had no sound issues with planes flying by

We recently stayed at BORO hotel in New York City and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The staff at this hotel are exceptional; they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their helpfulness and attention to detail really stood out.
The rooms were immaculate – clean, well-maintained, and cozy. As for the hotel itself, it boasts a modern and appealing design that adds to the overall experience.
The location is another plus - the hotel is not right in the center of the hustle and bustle, which I appreciated for a more relaxed stay. Yet, it’s conveniently within walking distance to Manhattan (or just one subway stop).
Overall, our stay at BORO hotel was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting NYC and looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay. The combination of outstanding service, pristine accommodations, and a great location makes this hotel a top choice. The experience overall was so chilled and relaxed - such an easygoing atmosphere. I truly cannot recommend this place more.

I've stayed at the Boro twice, first in 2018 and again earlier this month. The first stay was a leisure trip, the most recent was for business. In both stays, I've found the hotel to be extremely comfortable and quiet. The rooms are large by N.Y.C. standards with great views. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The best thing about the Boro is its location, just one subway stop out of Manhattan with a number of lines stopping a Queensboro/ Queens Plaza stations. You can get anywhere in the area quite easily. Also, the rates are significantly better than any hotel in Manhattan. Finally, Beebe's restaurant, just off the lobby serves an excellent breakfast and dinner. During my recent business stay it made my life much easier. In sum, the Boro Hotel is one of those hidden gems of N.Y.C.

I really enjoied the stay in the Parc Hotel during my son’s wedding. Great location
in Flushing, a lot of authentic Chinese food nearby. The gentleman who works at
the front desk is really helpful and nice. I will come back next time!!!
Cute Hotel with tiny Balconies and a lively Hotel Bar that has Karaoke on Tuesday. Guests had really fun. Plus points for the coffee machine in the room although they have machines downstairs too.

The room came for a great last minute price, however deep cleaning could have been better . Finger spots on the balcony door, HVAC vents are dirty and there was some strange smell. Not sure if it was from the last guests or from the outside , but had to open the balcony door for a while when I came in.

Overall probably a good choice not too far from Manhattan for touyrist or for last minute business visitors like me that like to keep the price In a Budget.
The hotel was very clean, the rooms were wonderful, and up to date. The staff were all super helpful and nice and were able to accommodate us to an early check in and a city view. The location was great because the subway was very close. We didn’t have any issues here, and we had a city view and it was perfect! 10/10 would recommend !!
BEST place, The location allows it to be Very convenient. A lot of Restaurants in a walking distance, the subway is near, their is breakfast in the morning and happy hour at night, no swimming pool but the gym made up for it. Customer service was great and the rooms were clean and stocked up.
Room was modern, clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable with shuttle service being extremely convenient to the airport. I only suggest better lighting be installed and a full length mirror.

The lobby and restaurant were aesthetically pleasing, the staff were pleasant and efficient. I didn’t care for the room. It was poorly lit and could’ve been better furnished. I paid a lot more for a balcony room and the balcony looked and felt like a fancy fire escape. I was so disappointed. I would not recommend.
Cute hotel. There was a party at the bar and courtyard until about 2am with live music, and it was extremely loud. The walls are also thin so we could hear the conversation in the next room very clearly. A fun place, but it's definitely not for a family to get to sleep early on a Saturday.
We had an awesome stay. Great value, not an inexpensive place but I felt like royalty here.

Service on point (shout outs to Frankie and Andy as my stand out hosts). Breakfast buffet was delicious with eggs, sausage, miso soup, kimchi, and yogurt.

Location is great, lots of delicious eateries in Flushing and it's close to the subway.

Would love to come back and stay here!

I booked a reservation at the Boro Hotel when I found myself priced out of even "moderate" hotels in Manhattan. Great decision on my part. I had a standard double, and it was quite spacious, clean, and reasonably priced. The staff was great. In terms of location, it is less than a five minute walk to the subway station (39th Ave/Dutch Kills), and the N and W trains get you into Manhattan in less than 10 minutes. Also, if you prefer to stay in the neighborhood, there are plenty of great restaurants (I recommend Beebe's, John Brown's BBQ, and Samosa Bites). Will definitely stay here on my next visit to NYC.
The hotel looks really unassuming from the outside, tucked under the bridge and next door to a bunch of businesses (and what look like derelict buildings). Inside it looks good enough, it could probably do with a bit of a freshen up. The room was comfortable, again, could use a freshen up - the toilet seat didn't seem to fit the toilet, the sink drained slowly, the plug was broken, that sort of thing. Location was... Good but awkward. It was regularly between $30-$50 to get a car into a Manhattan so factor that in. It's only 2 blocks from an amazing rooftop restaurant though. Most staff were friendly enough, one of them was consistent rude and unhelpful but the rest were kind and friendly.

It was an interesting stay at Boro Hotel in New York.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The location was a bit to be desired. They say it's an up and coming area, that may be so, but I think it's going to be a few years.
We had our room on the 10th floor with city views which were amazing.
The room itself was a simple industrial look and very large. There were floor to ceiling glass windows and a balcony wide enough to walk on but not for any seating.
The hotel had a large rooftop terrace which was closed unfortunately due to the weather.
Not a good experience! Manager was rude and unprofessional.

Here I am in NY for a church meeting, I was extremely happy. I arrived at my hotel Sheraton East LGA, front desk greeted me with smiles got me checked in super quick. I went to my 1st room. Seems as if someone was already checked in that room. I called front desk and the young lady was abke to get it taken care of. I went downstairs to retrieve a new keycard, went to my new room 821 on the corner. I opened the door and was hit immediately with a bad odor-mildew smell, i tried to brace my self to see if I can stay in the room, but I started feeling nausea. So I went back down to the front dest and explained that the room smell horrible. And I wanted to call Marriott to see if i can find and another hotel. After speaking with Marriott team they advise since i had already checked in to speak with a manager to try and switch to another room. WELL HERE IS WHERE MY COMPLAINT STARTS!!!. I GREETED THE MANAGER (Sylvia),WITH A SMILE AND POLITELY ASKED IF I COULD CHANGE MY ROOM, SHE ASKED WHY, I EXPLAINED THE ODOR IS TO BAD IN 821, and being a recovering heart patient i can't sleep or inhale that odor. She then point her finger at me and SIT DOWN ill get to you in a minute. I was shocked because those words are use to tell a dog to sit. I said all due respect I dont want to sit. After she finished her call I respectfully went up to the front desk again, She wanted to give me the same room key back and said nothing is wrong with the room, she said its clean, i said boss lady my complaint is not the cleanness its the ODOR its bad. She then started to make a BIG ISSUE in front of everyone, she embarrassed me and said well you are on an employee rate! I said what does my employee rate has to do with this I still paid, i asked why are you being so mean and rude. The 2 ladies who checked me in, they was kind, cordial friendly... we had no issue, but you came treating me like i am 12YRS old. I said I am gonna call Marriott corporate, SHE THEN says I DON'T CARE WHO YOU CALL I AM THE MANAGER. SYLVIA WAS MEAN, HATEFUL, DISRESPECTFUL FOR NO REASON... ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS NOT SLEEP IN A MILDEW ODOR ROOM. I DIDN'T WANT TO GET SICK. SHE THEN HAD THE HOUSE KEEPING SUPERVISOR COME DOWN AND THEY WAS WHISPERING, SO I WALK BACK UP WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH MARRIOTT TO SEE, SHE SAID HOUSE KEEPING SAID THE ROOM IS CLEAN. I SAID BOSS LADY MY ISSUE IS THE ODOR, I SAID CAN U GO UP TO THE ROOM AND SMELL IT FOR ME. SHE GOT OFFENDED THAT I CALLED HER BOSS LADY, SHE SAID THATS NOT MY NAME. I SAID I DON'T KNOW YOU NAME, YOU NEVER GREETED ME, YOU NEVER APOLOGIZE, YOU JUST TREATED ME WITH HATE IS IT BECAUSE OF THE COLOR OF MY SKIN. I WAS IN A HAPPY MOOD AND THE WORKERS WERE COOL WITH ME. BUT SYLVIA CAME AND TRIED TO MAKE ME FEEL AS A BLACK MAN I WASNT WELCOME AT THE SHERATON! THIS IS NOT THE HAPPY FACES YOU SEE ON MARRIOTT COMMERCIALS. SYLVIA WAS RUDE TO.... AND I DID NOTHING BUT ASK FOR A ROOM WITH OUT THE ODOR MILDEW SMELL.

I DID GET A ROOM, BUT THE TREATMENT WAS UNCAUSED FOR. IT WAS EMBARRASSING. SHE IS NOT HOW MANAGERS ARE AT MARRIOTT BONVOY!

I honestly felt discriminated!
I read some of the reviews about poor service at the hotel and unsafe neighborhood surrounding it. Neither were an issue. The staff was as good (meaning great) as any Marriott I’ve stayed at recently and we are a high-tier level. Staff was accommodating and kind and I believe if you are polite and kind, they will do what they can to help. The neighborhood is gentrifying but I found the people surrounding the hotel safe and just trying to live-in short, you need to be aware of your surroundings here but you do in any major city worldwide. Room costs are 50% of rooms in Manhattan. Otherwise enjoy being able to stay so close to Manhattan at a great price!
I stayed here for one night when I had to do a quick trip to the city. It was only a 20 minute ride from Penn Station on the LIRR, so easy to get to in an affordable manner.

The inside is way more spacious than I expected for a New York hotel. The lobby has a lot of tables and couches to use, plus a cafe/bar area with more tables.

My room was a standard Queen and was also larger than I expected. The two chairs with ottomans in the seating area had a nice design and made the standard room feel elevated. Also appreciated the mini fridge. The bed was comfortable, pretty average hotel bed. I was also able to stream fine on the free wifi, so give it a try before paying the $13 extra for "streaming quality" wifi. The best part was my stay was very quiet. The area had way less nighttime noise than I'm used to in NYC and the interior of the hotel was pretty quiet, too.

The location is great if you want to explore Flushing. Tons of restaurants, the New World Mall (great food court), and a short walk from the Sky View Mall and the Main Street 7 subway station.

I had zero issues here and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I'll look here to book regularly for future NYC trips.
Room did the job. The AC was very loud. The employees were excellent and kind. There is no longer a shuttle to any subway station. It will be a 15/20 min walk to any of the stations. The walk isn’t bad and the views are beautiful, but would be difficult if we had more luggage. View from the room was gorgeous but not help from the dirty windows. The floor was on such a slant that things fall over. It looks like it’s sinking in. I wouldn’t say don’t stay here. I would just say read a lot of the reviews before booking.

Wife and I loved our stay here. Just outside of Flushing chinatown with quick access to LGA. Very walkable area. The rooms have Nespresso machines with Starbucks pods! As a coffee lover, this is a huge plus. Seems like an older building with some modern renovations. Staff are polite and helpful.

In town to visit family. Expensive. They add a resort fee, their definition of "resort" is far different than mine. After all added fees and taxes, over $500 per night. Room on second floor had no real view. It was of decent size with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Good sized bathroom with a nice shower that will fit 2. No refrigerator. Hotel has a restaurant that serves all 3 meals during the day. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff in both the hotel and restaurant were exceptional. Odd neighborhood location, but it's New York. $40 Uber or taxi into Manhattan
This hotel was blocked for a wedding that we attended. It looked very beautiful and we were excited about a trip to Queens.

Unfortunately there was a used condom in our room's bathroom when we checked in. My husband was also physically and verbally accosted by a security guard at 1am who was working a different wedding that shares the same building lobby as where our room was. We reported these matters to the front desks who said the hotel would call us in the morning to handle the matter. There was no follow up.
Stayed overnight before an early morning flight. Cookies and hot cider were nice touch. Rooms were OK. We had to deal with ambulances all night. Would be nice if there was a shelf in the shower. Ate supper in the restaurant, the pot roast was small portions and very chewy and burnt and not so good. Really, other than a good truck at the curb, there is no place to go eat, close by. The server really didn't care.
Nice view, eh!!!
One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Clean rooms, prompt, nice service, and great location. It's right across the street from LaGuardia, you can't get any closer.

The hotel is actually really nice as the rooms are well-furnished, beautifully decorated, and the entire place seems quite new. These are actually the largest rooms I've ever seen in NYC so they felt very spacious which was a nice change for once.
HOWEVER, service was quite awful, seems like the staff really lack basic social skills, customer courtesy, and any semblance of friendliness. Didn't see a single smile from staff and workers seemed pretty miserable. Won't be staying here again due to the lack of friendliness

Terrible Stay, Zero Follow-Up from Management

The worst stay I ever had in a hotel - especially for what I paid. Had an awful night at Parc Hotel. Dirty room—dust, dirt, and stray hairs everywhere. Thin walls make every sound in the hall echo in the room. Lumpy mattress and cold shower added to the misery. Breakfast was inedible. Emailed management, but no reply. Clearly, they don't care. Look elsewhere for a hotel.
We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was pleasant at check-in. The one thing we had been concerned about (valet parking) was okay. We had a flight a few years ago where the hotel took 45 minutes to get our car and we came seconds away from missing our flight. I will say that when we arrived in the parking garage, it reeked of the wacky tobacco. I was a little concerned handing over my car keys to someone who may be driving impaired (not sure if it was a guest smoking outside or staff) but that made me uncomfortable. At the end of the day the car was fine and the gentleman who parked it was very nice.

The room was what I would have expected. They had a small fitness center that when I went in was 80 (yes 80) degrees. I will say that when I called down to report this someone came up and was able to promptly fix it. Good from a service perspective. Guests may want to note that there is only one treadmill so if someone is using it that could be an issue.

The breakfast looked nice on the way out as well. Overall a nice stay!

I stayed for 4 nights to attend and event nearby and the hotel was fine not glamorous but adequate for tourist travelers, yes it smells of napthalen but you get used to it. All the service staff are happy and friendly, if you take time to get to know them. Reception are helpful if pushed. It's well situated opposite a large mall with restaurants coffee and supermarket and 5min walk to line 7 subway very convenient and safe. The hotel itself is pretty and the rooms are nice, bed comfortable, coffee machine and small fridge, I had a nice view from my room. This hotel met my needs and price point due to my exchange rate being so bad, I'd stay there again and recommend to others with a few caveats though.
Room was nice and clean. Balcony views of midtown Manhattan were amazing. Two things that were bothersome. We kept having house flies fly into the room from and unknown source. Even when the balcony door was closed, we'd see them flying around the room on more than one occasion. Not sure how or where they were coming from. Secondly, it would have been nice and convenient to have some sort of shelf to place soap and rags in the stand up shower. Other than those things, the stay was perfectly acceptable.
I love this hotel. The front desk staff was nice and knowledgeable of the area. My room was clean and spacious. It can be a little noisy. No parking, but they have partnered with LAZ Parking, which is located beneath the hotel...definitely a great convenience since it rained most of the time during my visit. There is no restaurant on-site, but they do offer breakfast. I did not eat anything because it wasn't what I liked. The room was not equipped with a microwave. However, you won't have any problems locating a restaurant that delivers. The area is heavily surrounded by Asian restaurants. I ordered from Popeye's one night and The Coop another night. Both were good, especially The Coop, because their chicken was lightly glazed with possibly honey. I would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

We booked a room here because of a last-minute flight cancelation, and everything except the suites were full. The suite was about $400/night after fees, and included a family room, simple kitchenette, and queen bedroom with TV. It was probably a nice room originally, but you can tell it's been through the ringer over the years. Stains (and wet spots??) were on the couch and floor, mysterious dried liquids dripping down the doors, and very outdated lights, tables, etc. The breakfast consisted of toast, cereal, and various juices. Pillow was super flat but staff was happy to provide another. There might have been more, but they stopped serving 15 minutes early which is when I showed up.
They have a nice late check-out time of noon, but as a result, don't expect to check-in early while they clean rooms. I couldn't check-in until 6pm.
Overall, it'll work in a pinch. It's safe and close to the airport. But don't expect luxury, and DO expect high prices 😅
DO NOT stay here if you need a good night of sleep. We shared our preference with the hotel that we’d like to have a room as quiet as possible. However, at the night of our stay, there was an AFTER PARTY for a wedding that was on the same floor as our room, with only one door in the hallway in between that is NOT sound proof. The wall in our room was literally vibrating at 1am when we tried to sleep. We called the front desk twice; they said they would “talk to their manager”, but the situation didn’t improve. I ended up going to talk directly to the venue manager of the after party myself, before they were finally able to lower the volume at 2am.

Even after the music volume was lowered, we were still hearing party guests talk, walk on their high heels, door opening and shutting loudly…The door of the hotel room is absolutely not sound proof. It is a joke that this hotel is labeled “4 ‘-star” hotel on google—even 2 or 3 star hotels have better sound proof facilities.

Lastly, parking was a nightmare. We arrived at the hotel around 10pm when their gate was blocked. After waiting for 10 minutes we were told that there was no parking space and we need to park somewhere on the street. How could they let more guests book their rooms than the parking spaces they can afford?

Overall, only book your stay here if you don’t mind going to sleep at 3am. This hotel is the definition of poor management and lack of consideration of customer needs. We switched to another hotel after staying there for one night, although we originally planned for 2 nights.
We stayed here to attend US Open and walked there which was a longer walk than we hoped from the hotel through some not great areas. Despite that the hotel was nice, rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was helpful and friendly and breakfast was decent. It included some interesting Asian options since hotel is in the heart of Chinatown. Lots of great restaurants (mostly Asian but good pizza too) in the area as well. Parking is in the basement of the building and there is no valet at front entrance. You have to drive your car around several long city blocks to get to garage entrance which can take 5-10 minutes during busy days. Once there they valet park your car for you and use a convenient text based system you can use to call for it. Elevators were confusing in terms of which went to guest rooms vs garage. Overall we appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the services and room here and would stay here again if necessary.
Appears to have become a illegal migrant shelter. No longer a hotel. There are 1000 bikes outside and children running around at all times. No I don’t want to come to NYC to pay and stay at a homeless shelter .
This hotel was super nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. The balcony was huge. The view was amazing. The whole hotel was clean… like walk around without shoes clean. When I called for towels, they literally came running. I would definitely stay here again. They had the best parties on the rooftops during the weekend. I enjoyed it.
The city view is amazing. Rooms were sufficient. My shower was janky (the faucet turned on and off at a different spot each time) and the tiling seems like it needs some rejuvenation. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, this one is not for you at least over a summer weekend.

Regarding service, overall it was fine, but when I first got to the room, a service person knocked on my door very annoyed. I didn’t call the front desk but they insisted that I had and that I was complaining about the shower body wash pump bottle not working or being filled. They proceeded to come into my room, step in the shower, pump all of the bottles, show their hand to me and left in a huff. It wasn’t the best interaction, but everything else went smoothly.
Needed a place to crash after our flight was cancelled — customer service was great! A super nice respite after a hectic, frustrating day. The shuttle was really convenient and the room was great. We were on the second floor right next to the elevators/above the bar and it was whisper quiet. Would recommend if you find yourself stuck in LGA because of a flight cancellation!
Recently stayed at this hotel and it was a horrible experience! The parking lot is run by a third party, and no one on the premises can help. When we arrived there were lots of men hanging around the parking lot. My family and I (3 women) thought they worked for the hotel. One approached us and asked to carry our bags. No, we did not allow it. The next day, we find out this is a homeless shelter on the premises. When we returned that evening the gate was opened for anyone to enter. No parking was available even though we paid for parking for our entire stay! We then had to park in a loading zone. Also, the other building was draining water through a pipe that ran to the curb and into the lot. When we asked what was in the water because of the odor, we were told feces. The room was dirty. Someone's contract lenses were stuck to the bathroom floor. And to top it off, our window shade was broken and fell in the middle of the night. Maintenence put in a request but never fixed it. So anyone could look into our room. The night staff was very rude. The first night, a young woman at the front desk named Jason was very dismissive and rude. The following night, I called the front desk and a "manager," answered and was very rude. He was caught in a lie when we made a suggestion about letting visitors know that there was a shelter next door. He told me when the shelter was established, and then he told me he didn't know it was a shelter. The only person we encountered at the front desk who was professional and courteous was Quincy!! Needless to say I will never stay here again...
This hotel 🏨 is beautiful. For a hotel in NY honestly the peace that you feel once they open the door way is like you are literally on vacation. As soon as you walk to the lobby it’s like you are in a different place. It’s so peaceful and it’s they have all types of Asian food options in the area. To top it off they have a Sunday church service on the 7th floor at 11:00am .. perfect to get enough sleep and receive a blessing.
Recently stayed here 4 nights with my daughter who was relocating to New York. The location is fantastic if your looking for a hotel close to the airport. The hotel shuttle was easy to use and the drivers helpful and nice. We actually walked to terminal B (10 min) to catch the free bus. The room was adequate for our needs. One small complaint was there was only water and one in room coffee. Free coffee downstairs with breakfast. The cleaning staff was great. I enjoyed the bar a couple of the nights. Drinks slightly overpriced but options were decent. I enjoyed several of the in house food options and all were good. This hotel worked perfectly for us this visit.
I called front desk the person he so so rude ,he hung on me phone ,no customer service
Our suite was great. Room was spacious. Amenities were good. 24 hour Lounge was small but worked well for our snacking and computer needs. Everyone was so helpful and nice! Easy walk to Citifield. Nearby food options were spectacular, some within a 1 minute walk!!
Called to ask if the hotel has shuttle from the LGA Airport. The front desk answered the call very rudely and said we are not a hotel. The phone number on the website says otherwise. I do not understand. The website says they do have shuttle but I am checking just in case some hotels stop operating shuttle.
Is a good place to enjoy with family 👍🏻💪🏻!!!

Very chic hotel. Beautiful lobby. Has a great cafe and a really amazing restaurant (Beebe’s) on the main level. Extremely easy commute to Manhattan, 3 different subway lines are 5 mins away and Manhattan is the very first stop.
The hotel is very worn and in much need of updating. We had a 2 bedroom suite. The carpet had all kinds of stains, the couch was very worn and stained, curtain were not on the hooks, holes in the walls, etc. We pulled sheets off the bed to cover the couch for fear of what was on the couch. And no way would we walk barefoot. The front desk person was very nice but had no help for the long line of guests checking in. I’m a very loyal Marriott customer so very disappointed in this property not meeting the Marriott standards.
The rooms are HUGE but they smell musty and like they've been spayed with a deodorizer. Carpet is a bit worn too. Shuttle does not run after midnight so if you arrive late don't expect one. Front desk was great though. Market is well stocked and a free breakfast.
Our flight out of Laguardia was canceled, so we booked a room for the night. We were at the rental car area, as we had tried to get a rental car to drive home without any luck. I called the hotel to see if there was a shuttle, which there was. They came and picked us up at the rental car place and took us to the hotel. It was late and we got one of the last rooms, since many flights were canceled that evening. The lobby was large and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and courteous. He gave us an extra large room, which was great. It had two bedrooms, a kitchen area and sitting area; way too much for just my husband and I, but would definitely be great for a family with children.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We told them that we would need a shuttle back to the airport the following morning and it was ready at 5:30 AM sharp to take us. We were only there for the one night and we arrived late and left early, but I had no issues with this hotel.

I've comin comin here for years and this place is getting worse. The rooms smell horrible. They don't have amenities like they used too. The TV quality is poor. They didn't even have a mirror except the bathroom. The lighting is horrible and couldn't do my makeup properly. This place is so overpriced. I paid 130 for one night!!!! They shouldn't charge more than $80. This place is goin to shitz.
If i could give it half star i would. The guy in front desk is in lala land , i was charged 178 dollars for a 55 dollar room. I called back to inquire, they cant find my record. I gave them the room number and have no trace of me being there , pay cash if you do go. Other than that its an ok place if u cant find another alternative.
Just giving you some tips, hope they help. Decent spot! They do walk ins! I prefer calling in my personal opinion. No children allowed. So any families looking for shelter it's best to go to PATH. They accept debit, credit, and cash.Room clean. Although if I can say they should wipe the mirror from the previous booking.

they are very horrible at customer service there realy rude and they like to lie about there prices and always rush people out at check out worst part to all this is they have bed bugs everytime i stay there ive came out with the iches and wit bite marks all over my body i truly do not recomend this hotel at all they mines well make it in to a shelter or let people in for freeor pay customers to stay there and dont even give them a star
1. $55 for 5 hours in NYC is a little cheaper 2. Rooms were horrible and had bugs 3. All hookers around the place 4. Near to LGA and hence ok for an overnight stay. 5. Staff dont budge and are not accomodative and charge you with a $15 straight away for an extra hour.
This is one of THEE worst motels on queens boulevard. Not worth $120 for these disgusting a rooms. I could have stayed at my grandmothers house for this. Never I mean never stay here. The paint is chipping off the walls. The furniture is hollow, fake wood, that's actually metal. There are no draws for your things. Mirrors are dirty and made of plexiglass. Dusty rooms and not been cleaned. Could cause you to become sick with dust allergies. Carpets are dirty with cigerette burns. Tubs are in need of refurbishment. In total I would recommend any other motel but this one. - Sincerely an angry customer
