Beautiful part of the city

Probably the most obvious or even iconic bridge over the Humber River from the Gardiner Expressway or Lakeshore. The white arch span with white vertical supports is almost a pretty design. The path for both bicycles and walkers is NOT separated so be careful. Views of the Toronto downtown skyline are visible in the distance.

I used to see the bridge from Gardiner and always looked beautiful. Eventually walked on it for the first time. Nice view of the lake. The trail that leads to the bridge provides a very pleasant walking experience. Parking lot is only 4-5 minute walk from the bridge.
What a place to relax. If you r around Toronto must visit this place. Good picnic spot too. For bike people it has a great route to bike. 😍

Recommended beautiful attractions by the lake in Toronto. There is a history of early Indians and immigrants doing fur business here, as well as the famous Sunny Side Beach. Before the railway development at the beginning of the last century, this was a famous park that attracted a large number of Canadians from the surrounding area to come for leisure every holiday.

Beautiful bridge. Green P parking around the area. 3.65 an hour I found so far. Beautiful to hang and walk around. There’s rocks and ledges to stand around. Some chairs.

The bridge has such a fabulous architecture and shape that it stand for itself as a beautiful attraction. I enjoyed my walk and the ambiance at the sunset on the bridge.

Nice bridge.
It is a pretty little bridge; it would have been great in the 1800's but it really isn't meant for car traffic, cyclists and pedestrians to cross over. Get rid of the cars and make the fat old men walk it. One of them nearly took me out riding over the bridge. Either that or place a seperate bridge there for cyclists; pedestrians. Try and think like people do in the 2000's city planners!

A nice historic bridge over the Humber River. Although the bridge is narrow, there is not much traffic on it. It is used for recreational purposes mostly by pedestrians and cyclists, but cars can also drive there. Although the bridge is not tall, it offers a nice view of the surrounding countryside.

Very nice, but I am giving it 3star rating because there is not enough parking space or sidewalks for pedestrians and if you are not careful your enjoyable evening can turn into a very tragic incident. This place deserves to be upgraded for Torontonians and outsiders to enjoy.

I've always wanted to experience this mysterious bridge coming from nowhere leading to nowhere and I finally did! I highly recommend checking out the entire area before it gets all gentrified!

Convenient bridge to cut across the road to get to the waterfront. Great views of Lake Ontario.
Bridge is close to historical sites and attractions like the Garden of Greek Gods (limited time), the rose 🌹 garden, FORT ROUILLÉ, Scadding Cabin and the first wind turbine in North America. It’s a great spot to spend a few hours learning some history about the area and enjoying the waterfront

Difficult to enjoy with reckless drivers. Vehicles should be banned, there are families navigating the Humber Trail on this bridge with no sidewalks.

The view is mesmerising. The station is too beautiful and the subway service is also very nice and well organised. Subway is neat and clean. Views during the travel always attracts you. Easily accessible and availability for all kind of bus service as well

This bridge and arch were the original entrance to the CNE before the princess gates opened. The arch was rebuilt 3 times.
Nice view and close to other attractions. Handy for cutting across the lakeshore on foot or by bike.
Nice sight. I had the pleasure of viewing it from below where the trail is and above by the bridge that runs parallel to it on blood Street west.

A partially covered subway station adjacent to the Humber River. It feels outdoors as its class enclosure let's you peer into the King's Mill riverside park and adjacent areas. Fishermen use the subway station when frequenting the Old Mill Bridge in Étienne Brule Park.
Fenced off. No access. Cannot cross.
It's slated for demolition sometime in 2022. So, visit now, if you can. Be careful as the bridge is not very safe and formally off the limits ro the public.

It's a lovely bridge with a narrow walkway for pedestrians where you can see the Old Mill Inn as well as the Humber river and the Étienne Brûlé Park below.
We were surprised to see so many people fishing beliw the bridge in early January 2021, but it seems that it's a regular occurrence.

Cherry Street Lift Bridge a piece of history and Toronto's waterfront connection for so many years. I'm sure has a short life now as the first of 4 new waterfront bridges have arrived and now in place at Viller's Street. The other 3 bridges will arrive in 2021.
Great view
This 1968 mutiple-span concrete bridge is actually quite unique, it is one of the only bridges to be solely used for a subway line and as a subway station.
Interesting structure, one of the few functioning lift bridges in the portlands.
If you catch the bridge raising its quite the mind trick. A great lookout spot to see the sun go down. There is also a portion with traction for winter months. Can't help but feel that there should be a sign added that tells trucks not to stop on it, as there are often many in this area.

Formerly carried King Street across Don River but cut off by Don Valley Parkway. Each end of the steel truss bridge is fenced off to discourage tresspassing. Smaller bridge next to it carries utilities.
