This is by far the worst Starbucks I’ve ever visited. The staff is rude and incompetent.

I ordered a tall cappuccino and received a cup that was only half full. When I asked about it, Darren and Tula (both employees at this location) claimed they had called out my name four times, and that the remaining foam had dissipated. We were sitting close to the counter and did not hear any call-outs. When I questioned further, Darren rudely stated, “I don’t have to answer to you.”

This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Darren’s behavior reflects poorly on the brand.

Starbucks should either replace the staff at this location or consider closing this outlet. Pathetic experience. Would NOT recommend this place, as the staff is incompetent and deceitful.

Typical Starbucks can’t complain. The expresso was very good. Idk who made it but it was on point.

one of the only places with good pour over coffee, I really enjoyed my El Salvador. Wi-Fi is good enough to do some work when there are tables available, good choice as well!

I've been coming to this Starbucks for about 2 years. Over the last few months, I've never felt more at home. When I walk through the door, one or two baristas greet me, usually by name!
Most of the times I don't even have to place my order because I get the same thing, they just ask "the usual"? Some friendly banter ensues and the brief coffee break is more than enjoyable. This is an excellently managed store and I'll be coming for the foreseeable future for my venti shaken expresso!

Very very good! I love it here there are so many seats and it is very spacious. My order comes quick and easy and I can just pop in and go. 10/10 drinks, keep it up!

As an avid coffee drinker, I was thrilled to try out Starbucks' new spicy drink. However, my recent experience at one of their locations wasn't the best. One of the employees was disrespectful and dismissive towards me because of my job, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

To add to the frustration, I received the wrong drink due to unclear communication from the employee. When I went back to correct the mistake, there were further spelling errors in my name, and the barista made a joke at my expense, which only added to the embarrassment.

I have always enjoyed going to this Starbucks location, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and belittled. I believe that all customers should be treated with respect, regardless of their occupation, appearance, or social status, and I hope that this location can take steps to improve its customer service.

I would like to see the employees trained to communicate more clearly and to have a better understanding of how to treat all customers in a respectful and welcoming manner. Ultimately, I hope that this location can improve its service and provide a positive experience for all customers.

I love the atmosphere, the food and the drinks, such as the lovely pancake, which is topped with a big ice cream ball, which I order every time, and the various milk teas, and there are so many beautiful women and handsome men hanging out here, it's a great place to relax

You know when you call your bank or medical office with a customer issue, and they ask you to verify your personal details only to tell you they cant help, and pass you onto the next phone rep, over and over and over? This Starbucks gives you that type of service…everyone pretends to serve you for management’s sake, but individually nobody actually listens to the customer nor gets your order right the first time…they always get it right the 3rd or 4th time though

If one dislikes people in general, then perhaps a job serving customers coffee isn’t for you. It’s inside the SE corner of 33rd and 10th. ⭐️1 out of 10⭐️

Nice cafe close to a hotel and some galleries. They had many fun options for drinks and tasty looking treats. I unfortunately did not get to try any of the sweets but the s’mores hot chocolate was very nice.

So because you close at 9pm I can’t buy anything after 8pm that has to be made by a blender because your employees started cleaning by 8pm. I walked in there at 8:13pm yesterday Thursday the 11th, and was told that the blenders were broken, i said, or are they all cleaned, and you just don’t want to clean it again. I also said i could be your secret shopper and he didn’t care… please find employee that wants to work for your business and not be lazy! Never again will i go to this one!

I’ve never been to a Starbucks where all of the baristas seem disinterested in customers. But I have now! This place would never pass an independent review from Starbucks senior management. Some Starbucks stores are just held to a lower standard for some reason.

Generally, I don't usually review Starbucks, but I have to shout out the barista who made my Iced Shaken Espresso. The person was so amazing at their job! It was impressive. There was a large wave of people who came in when I did, but the barista wasn't fazed. The person methodically made the drinks one by one, even announcing whose drink was being made and whose was on deck. Then, if that wasn't enough, the person personally greeted each customer. I got a, "Happy Tuesday". Really, I was super impressed. I felt valued and appreciated, and the barista's attitude really gave this location a hometown feel, where we were all regulars.

After ordering my drink online and arriving ten minutes later, it still wasn’t ready. I politely asked the barista for a cold water with ice to go along with my order, which she agreed to. Despite waiting in an empty store for some time, I received my drink without the water. I considered asking for a bit more cold oat milk to avoid burning myself, but the barista was too far away, and I didn’t want to shout. I waited for her to come closer so I could ask, but instead, she accused me of disrespecting her and refused to talk to me. I tried to explain that I was simply waiting for her to approach, but she insisted I had offended her somehow. She then rudely bid me farewell in a way that clearly lacked sincerity. Despite being a loyal Starbucks customer for years and enjoying the drinks, this unpleasant interaction has deterred me from returning to this location.
It was at 9 am if manager is care to have a conversation with the barista about her attitude.

I had bacon and egg on a roll with a lavender latte. Both were delicious! The bacon and egg on a roll was definitely not your standard, deli breakfast sandwich; it was extremely flavorful and very satisfying! This was my first-ever lavender latte and I was pleased. A definite repeat! For a quick-bite, casual spot, the service was attentive and the employees friendly!

My friends and I explored NYC, and during our final day, we found ourselves wandering around the Chinatown/SoHo neighborhood. Craving coffee, I decided to search for nearby coffee shops online. Among the options, I discovered a cozy spot, albeit compact, yet impeccably clean and visually appealing. Opting for a simple vanilla iced latte, I was pleasantly surprised by its deliciousness! The staff was both welcoming and efficient, and the moment I took the first sip, I could discern the quality of the coffee. I highly recommend this gem of a café.

Just want to say that the barista was kind enough to turn one of my favorite drinks here into a hot drink because I told her I was so cold. And she recreated it as a hot drink to perfection. Perfect flavor, perfect temperature. Before I ordered that I wanted to try a new drink, to my disappointment it wouldn't be available until the next day. She offered me a sample of that as well. Great customer service from her and her team!

NEVER, and I mean NEVER coming here again. I’ve come here a few times in the past and never had any issues, but recently???? Omg *eyeroll*. I came in this morning and the taller girl that wears her black mask over her mouth only, has THEE NASTIEST attitude. I ordered something to be heated up and instead of her handing it to me, so walks over to the mobile order section, and drops it there. Her coworker then gave me my item, like wth is the issue?? I didn’t order it for mobile pickup, I ordered it in-house. So?? Just so nasty. Mind you, this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered her nasty attitude. Only person that had a pleasant demeanor was the person that was doing the iced drinks. Very nice. Everyone else? Bleh! Will not waste my money here again. Also, the food I got warmed up was very dry, and smelled weird. Smh

I’m sorry but I only come to this location but the young girls at this establishment… they don’t listen and they do more of talking I am always respectful even when not getting my drink made properly.. in this day I asked the young white girl to plz make sure they know to not blend the strawberry purée with my frappe and she said yes .. then as a young Muslim black girl is make the drink I ask another girl with short low cut hair with glasses that was on the cellphone if the Muslim girl knows I wanted the purée on the cup she Hurd me and gave me the nastiest look at it’s not the first she has done to me or others !! She took my drink just poured the puree in the cup with the matcha frappe I asked for ! Then over spilled the white cream and puree on top to over fill !! And I try to avoid this location I rather go to the Central Park Starbucks location instead over at Columbus circle area ! I just had enough and had to do a review and I see I’m not the only review that agrees!!
Coffee is good but service could be better honestly. I was trying to ask if I got the right milk but no avail, I was not listened to. Prices are higher than the prices shown on the menu.

I’m staying in Hell’s Kitchen and this is the literal best breakfast sandwich place in NYC. I grabbed the breakfast cuban with cheese and salsa verde and it was off the hook. Highly recommend.
The latte I bought was quite large. We came here at 3:15 pm on a Saturday, expecting it to close at 4 based on the hours on Google. However, they closed early at 3:30. It’s a pretty empty coffee shop with nice vibes. Definitely would try to come back to read or work next time.
Really good coffee. Loved this place and decor.

The seating area is enormous and yet, bewilderingly, there are very few tables and even fewer chairs. Many tables that could comfortably have four chairs around them had only one or two.

I liked the variety of seating available inside the cafe. We ordered a sandwich and apple & cinnamon oatmeal, however, I didn't like the oatmeal as it was really dull and it tasted like it was heated on a plastic bowl. Ice matcha wasn't that great as well and I couldn't taste the matcha powder.

Avoid at all costs, massive attitude from all staff, particularly Maria who refused to serve food on display and even cussing while trying (and failing) to figure out a simple order.

Whoever runs this place needs to be booted, what a fiasco of a franchise this has become…

Bathroom was completely out of toilet paper, and when I informed the staff I was given a frustrated shrug. There was no line and I waited at the register to tell them so that I wouldn't interrupt their work, but I was treated rudely for patiently trying to prevent someone else from being caught in a bathroom with no toilet paper like I was.
Also asked for a drink with no sugar because of health restrictions, and was instead served a watered down version of the sugared drink, which was the server's solution to decrease sugar content. Waste of money and harmful to my dietary needs.

Coffee: 4 Stars
A small coffee shop off of Canal Street. It's a nice spot to grab a cup of delicious coffee. They offer a variety of options and a select beans from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Panama. They also have a smoothie menu which looked enticing! I was a bit surprised and disappointed that the shop didn't offer any dark roast options. It only had medium blends. Not a deal breaker but would have loved a dark roasted option.

Service: 3 stars
The service was good. Could be a bit more welcoming. There's also no restroom available here. I understand for non-paying customers but if you're purchasing and even thinking about staying and enjoying the coffee, there should be a restroom option.

Ambiance: 3 stars
Chill Lo-Fi vibes. Small space
Friendly staff. Great food and amazing cookies! We tried america, chocolate chunk and red velvet, I bet all of them are delicious as well!!

Besides giving 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere, I need to highlight: by the taste of the food I ordered (in the picture shown), you can tell how much care the staff put in preparing the food.

Something simple as the scrambled egg, it tastes remarkably delicious, the garlic bread had no words to describe. Also, the mocha ordered was so creamy and with the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate aftertaste.

Thank you!

Not Starbucks worthy. The donuts are even more dry than the cakes…. Do you want a refund or what?..

While this Starbucks is undoubtedly bustling due to its prime location, the high customer volume shouldn't excuse the discourteous and unpleasant demeanor exhibited by some of the staff members. If possible, I'd recommend steering clear of this particular branch. There was one employee, in particular, who left a lasting impression due to consistently displaying a disrespectful attitude towards most customers. My personal encounter with this individual involved a rather frustrating exchange. When I approached him to inquire about my order, he responded by loudly stating, "As I mentioned earlier, we've run out of..." I refused to remain silent and allow such behavior, making sure to provide him with an adequate and response with the same attitude he gave me. He eventually walked away, but the overall experience left much to be desired. Therefore, I'd advise seeking an alternative Starbucks location.

Started working near here and I go a few times a week. Great staff! I don't drink coffee but their muffins, loaves and donuts are all amazing. Would recommend their Turkey Roast sandwich they have for lunch sometimes 10/10 crazy good. Comes with caramelized onions in the sandwich and a side salad in the box.
Decent coffee however flavor profiles were barely noticeable. Cookies are unique and taste good.

This is - hands down - the best ice coffee in New York at the BEST PRICE (not even $4)
I’ve been going here since 2015 or so and though I don’t regularly find myself in the area, I’ll go out of my way to get this coffee and perhaps a breakfast sandwich (also good) in the AM.

Sometimes there are seats available and it’s a nice place to work. Crowded, but totally NY.

Really - why not try out this cute, independent store than across the street with the biggest of coffee conglomerates.

Absolute worst Starbucks experience ever. We arrived one hour prior closing time along with a bunch of other people. There were like 5 seats altogether available in the whole cafè. We tried to move one chair to another table so we can sit together and we were told by the staff that it’s an absolute no-go to move chairs from their designated spots. Exhausted from our whole day city trip one of us sat on a lonely long table, from where the staff wanted to dismiss us. They basically told us, paying customers to eat standing up like horses. Totally unacceptable and ridiculous treatment, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Irving Farm New York is a coffee shop that offers excellent lattes in a prime location, making it a convenient stop for commuters and tourists alike. The quality of the coffee is top-notch, with expertly crafted lattes that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. However, one potential downside is the limited seating available, which can fill up quickly, especially during peak hours. Despite this, the cafe's delicious lattes and friendly service make it a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts in the area.

I go to this starbucks every day and spend so much money with them . Today i went in and was given a cup of ice , as the barista handed it too me the lid fell so i bent to pick it up and went to leave when my bag accidentally hit one of the cups on display with no type of support , it fell and the corner of the cup broke . The barista then told me i have to pay for the cup , i said it was simply an accident as i was picking up something you dropped , She then said we can’t sell it we can give you a discount but you can’t leave without paying for it , and i simply embrassed in front of the massive amount of people in there , walk out and say i can’t pay for this , it’s unfair, i’m not going to pay $30 or more for something that was CLEARLY an accident . Then i get chased out with someone trailing behind me yelling ma’am. You could clearly see this was an accident and makes me feel as if i will never go back to this starbucks based on the treatment and embarrassment i experienced early morning, disgusting .

I ordered an espresso and before I even paid for it it was ready, I figured that was a very fast service. When I got the cup it felt like empty, I opened the cover and there was the smallest amount of coffee I ever had in my life. I asked the cashier if there was the right amount of coffee and in a very indifferent manner he replied that’s the amount we serve. I mentioned to him that’s a rip off and left. As soonest I went outside I tasted the coffee, the taste was like very hot water coming out of overused coffee feeling stale. I didn’t bother going back even if I was outside the store because I wasn’t in mood for arguments. Definitely not the right place for espresso try Dunkin’ Donuts espresso cheaper and better.

Awesome staff! They are always friendly and very professional. This morning, I placed a mobile order for a brewed coffee w/ cream and sugar in it. When I was picking it up, I was ready to ask for stirring stick like I always do at other locations, but the cup already had a stirring stick placed between the cup and the sleeve! That extra thoughtfulness totally made my day! Thank you whoever did that for me!
The most amazing cookies I've ever had in my life!
Service was very nice and friendly.
I must say it is absolutely extortionate but I would come back anyday because they were that good.
Their coffee is really good! This is also a great place to study and get some reading done. I love the fact that there are so many plants dispersed throughout the cafe. It's a very chill environment if you just want some alone time.

Why does this starbucks close their dining area upstairs way too early? We got here before 4PM and everybody had to eat downstairs. On one table. We've visited this place 4 times already at about the same time. I'll find a more friendly Starbucks in the area where we can sit and enjoy our coffee and food.

The coffee is mediocure, but the problems come with the fact that they haven't been open three of the four times I've gone. I used to go here my freshman year of college and they were always there, unfortunately I think the times have made it hard to always be staffed. Nevertheless, I would probably go somewhere else that has people working.
I got their iced Americano and the espresso was bold and strong which I liked, especially since it balances well with some milk. The pastries looked delicious and the smell of their cookies inside their modern/eclectic vibe was a plus. They get their pastries from bakehouse. Iced Latte is good too.

Mobile ordered at 6 am (11/10/19) and then went to the store. Store was not open as late as 630 and I was charged for my drink. No apology and no refund. Total fail.
Loved my coffee!! A chic coffee spot in West village at a short walk from Washington Square Park.
I always like to ask about what they use for Mocha and this place uses a house made chocolate syrup - I was sold. I got an oat mocha and it met all expectations in terms of taste. There's plenty of seating so you can always expect to find a table. They also offer food and some vegan options (overnight oats/avocado toast/harvest bowl).
The buts: the size of their cup was a little small for the price they charge; this location is pretty pretty loud - So it's not the best place to go relax and read a book; they do not have wifi.

This starbucks is the worst. Ordered a cold brew with cascara foam and they took forever making it. I literally stood there watching him make it and he was like watching my drink to see the "foam go down." I heard him literally say out loud "Why isn't the foam going down?" Then he scrapped it off the top with the lid and put that lid on. So now I'm stuck with this cold brew with foam dripping down the sides. I taste it and it tasts SO BAD. I've ordered this drink before and it has never tasted like this. I saw the same guy who was making my drink make the order before mine and he opened the honey packets with his teeth. Then after putting the honey in the drink he put the packets back into his mouth to suck on the rest while making my drink. The last time I ordered the Nitro cold brew with cascara foam at another location, they put on top like a brown sugar powder on top, which of course this guy did not do. So I tried adding my own where the sugar and napkins are and of course nothing is stocked and everything is super dirty. Also, I've been to this Starbucks location before when I put in a mobile order for A TALL BLONDE and I waited like 15 mins before I got so fed up I asked the worker about it and they said that their machine that takes mobile orders has been broken. Like, who is the manager of this location anyways?

Starbucks on 48th St NYC is a perfect coffee hack if you are visiting Rockefeller Center! It's super close to the Nintendo Store, skating and the LEGO Store. It's brand new and super clean. There are TWO floors and a lot of seating and outlets to charge up your devices. You can also grab some NYC Starbucks themed merch There! Coffee On friends!

Quaint, warm typical Greenwich village cafe giving a very hipster vibe with its long cafeteria style shared tables and stools - I enjoyed it. Had a cappuccino with coconut milk (good) and avocado toast with egg (average). Service time was standard. Full of NYU students and young couples. Very friendly staff.

Had a not-so-great experience. The line was short but the wait for lattes was .... 14 minutes and the wait for Cold buster coffee was 15. The barista Stella was one of the rudest I've experienced.

She talked poorly about everyone who was waiting. She talked about their drink choices, their attitudes and their audacity to order something complex.

She then was passive aggressive about people not giving her attitude ;by thanking her for "being polite".

Wouldn't come back here for the wait times and lack of customer service.

Typical Starbucks coffee shop a little more fancy though... this place has more space than the other Starbucks places in the area and their variety of snacks and sweets are bigger... always crowded but you can find a table to sit easily so everything went ok... I had a blonde vanilla latte with almond milk and it tasted nice... also their turkey sandwich was good and fresh... their service was good and pretty fast...

We came here the day after the Christmas day and this place is full of people that need to use the bathroom. we skipped the line by using the mobile order. I had wished they put a sign here to tell you which Starbucks Coffee it is (it’s 48th between 5th & 6th ave). It is located across the Rockefeller center & Nintendo store. The Latte we ordered was good but the re-fill pike was lukewarm. This place has a beautiful golden wall statue in the back and it is astonishing as the one on the Rockefeller Plaza wall. I wish they had installed another restroom upstairs because it had so many tourists and little customers waiting to use their toilets.
