Out to get you, booked a reservation online which didn't allow me to use my travel credit so i called the 1800 number to get some help.
Lady assured she can get me same ticket i was looking at online and also apply my flight credit after which i was asked to pay over $1000 which didn't seem right but i had no choice. She confirms my booking and i get a receipt for $2300 ticket which was only $1164 online.

My husband and I are 65 years he is a diabetic we are traveling with my grandson. It’s 15 years old while waiting to takeoff from San Juan Puerto Rico my flight from Philly to Cleveland. Ohio was delayed three times before I got here to Philly. Now I’m stuck in Philly from 9 o’clock at night. Time p.m. until 8:45 PM the following day we did not get a hotel room. My husband does not have his medicine with him because it was in his luggage that he paid for $40 and now our luggage is on our way to Cleveland Ohio our destination, but we’re stuck in Philly for another 24 hours my 15-year-old grandson is sleeping on the floor, I have this generate disease suffering from back pain and I pray to God that my husband doesn’t have a diabetes episode here because we have no money

Gate agents and individuals assigned to assist my elderly grandmother were not helpful and were almost successful at impeding her ability to safely board her flight. I booked our tickets requesting wheelchair assistance and confirmed it would be provided. Upon landing at our connection, there was a wheelchair but the attendant seemed reluctant to help stating she could get us to the end of the ramp but not to our gate, which was a distance away. She was able to get an attendant riding a cart to carry us to our get but not without him questioning us several times about when our flight was boarding, which was 15 minutes away. He had us sitting in the cart waiting for him to escort while he talked with colleagues, I had to interrupt him to tell him my flight was boarding in 15 minutes, even after he was told by the prior attendant that he need to be quick because our flight was boarding. While waiting for him to begin escorting us, the gate attendant for our departing flight contacted me to ask about our location and if my grandmother still needed wheelchair assistance, to which I answered yes. Upon arrival at the gate, there was no wheelchair assistance, so I made an inquiry about it to the gate attendant, about to which she said we tried to contact you and couldn't get a response. Another gate attendant chimed in to say, "Oh yeah, that's when I was on the phone with you." Needless to say, there was no wheelchair assistance, and my grandmother had to limp down the ramp and to the plane barely making it on. At this point, American Airlines is Spirit Airlines with a higher price tag and no nonstop flight options. The cleanliness of the plane still has not been addressed, and it is also a testament to the poor quality of this airline and declining brand.

Didn't have to walk too far to my next gate. Planes are small but comfortable for short fights. Easy to get on and off the plane since you don't have to wait passengers to get their carrier ons from the overhead. Carrier on are check check in at plane.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! AA should be classified with Spirit & Frontier. Mostly, all of the damn planes have mechanical issues, my flight got delayed because of that, missed a flight, got stuck in Philadelphia, have to wait in a cheap and dirty hotel that AA offered for 2 nights, they only gave me a 12 dollar meal voucher for 2 nights, after I waited the 2 nights to be able to flight back home that plane also had mechanical issues, after everyone waited over 20 minutes inside of that plane while it was getting fixed, everyone sweating, baby's crying because of the heat, they told us to deboard the plane and wait in the terminal. It took over an hour to fix the damn plane, which obviously made some of the people gamble their next flight. I learned my lesson. NEVER AGAIN! American Airlines, Spirit, and Frontier are not options for me anymore.

This is the worst employee in this airport.her job is take a picture of you boarding pass and after say your name and another kind employee take you to the gate and finally to the plane. I came with my mother because we requested the service online because she had a head surgery. 3:57 am we said good morning, how are you? She answered at 4… at 4 🙄….. we said ok and we wait. At 4 still not answer…. 4:20 am start to if we can said start working…. Screaming to the grand mothers, grand fathers and the old people who requested the service in a rude way. AMERICAN TAKE ACTION OF YOUR EMPLOYEE…. Why the people who has to request this service has to live this terrible experience. Of course I don’t have the name because she using a sweater and covers her name. I hope you can find her TERMINAL C IN AMAERICAN AIRLINES wellchair request area

Bathrooms were disgusting! Smelled like an outhouse 😝and no toilet paper in the stalls! There should be an easier way to get from terminal to terminal. Dallas airport is fantastic with their monorail trains above the airport getting you from terminal to terminal.

Had a very short connection (which of course was running late) and the arrival was clear on the other side of the airport from the departure. It's a loooong trek so be prepared if you have a short layover! They have a shuttle but I did it on foot and barely made it.

Went on vacation last week with my family and had my toddler’s stroller checked as we were boarding. When it was checked it was in 1 piece. When we arrived at our destination the stroller was broken in 3 pieces and parts were missing. The cup holder disappeared, the wheel was broken off. The luggage handlers don’t care about other people’s belongings. Needless to say we needed the stroller for the vacation and we had to then rent one while at our destination. Extremely careless employees and when I brought it to their attention they had no answer. We will never fly American Airlines again. The stroller was brand new and this was the first time we were going to use it. Specifically bought so it would could be folded up tightly and designed for traveling.

Efficient pilots in difficult times

I was so impressed by how efficient baggage claim was. We got off the plane and went straight to baggage claim and our bags were already waiting for us. Love that! Nothing like waiting on your bags for 30 minutes or having rude angry passengers mad because their bags are not on the luggage carousel. I also like the fact that you don't have to pay for parking. I would definitely fly into this airport again.

Had to change the name of one the passengers I was flying with because her official name isn't her English name. AA split off her ticket to make a separate reservation and didn't let me use my AAdvantage credit card to get a free checked bag. Ended up having to pay $60 even though the card benefits claim first bag is free.
Terrible customer service, terrible company. Will never fly American again, hope the $60 was worth it.

Flight canceled during flight from Montego Bay Jamaica. Informed at 4p. However I was in the midst of being on the flight. Hotel voucher given. However the hotel was 25 miles away. Paid $30 one way, $40 back to the airport . Upon arrival to check in my luggage, the ticket agent was RUDE!!! Her attitude, body language, and her tone was condescending. She also booked me for the last slot for standby. Another ticket agent named "Joyce" moved my spot. And I ended up on the top of the stand by list! So I did make it to Detroit, which I'm grateful. But I wouldn't book with American airlines again. My round trip ticket cost $1,039...

I had a flight out of Heathrow yesterday and British Airway was a mess with the way they handled the flight. At check in (3 hours before the flight) the flight BA0181 was not listed on the departures and the person at the counter said it would be added in 30 minutes. They told us the airport floor and section to wait in and we sat there looking at the departure screens for over 2 hours with no idea when or where we were going. Then 30 minutes before the scheduled flight departure it pop up on the screen with a gate number far from where they told us to be (we needed to change floors and take a train) with the status "get to the gate". We got to the gate, boarded and they closed the door and we sat there for over 2 hours, just so they could say they were "on time departing". The copilot was landing the plane in Newark Liberty airport and missed the runway so we had to circle the airport and try the landing a second time (another 30 plus minutes). We then sat on the tarmac again for another hour before exiting the plane. I used to love flying British Airways but I would fly a discount airline before them again.

Horrible experience. My flight was delayed, and when trying to resolve a connection issue, counter agent Tiffany, in Philadelphia, was quite rude. Passengers don't appreciate being talked down to by counter people with attitudes. I'll be flying the competition from now on, thanks to Tiffany.

Don't ever fly with this airlines! They are horrible and they steal your money any chance they get and instead of giving it back, they give you a credit for only ONE ticket instead of ALL of your money for both of the purchases that you made on your ONE card!!! Terminal C: I travel 95% Domestic/Intrnal, Traveled for 22 years in all major and small airports. I have NEVER EVER encounters rude agents (3 at that) 1 at basic line (while waiting for them to set up and TWO agents at Priorty. WoW!. 1) pre-chk doesnt open till 4:30 am, reg TSA opens at. 3:30 am (no pre-chk line. soo yes your in way back line. Cant control the terminal to fly out of just terrible, unprofessional agents.

Got off plane and needed wheelchair assistant. We waited 15 min with a wheelchair in front of it and 2 men could've cared. We took the chair and my 74 yr old husband has to push. We had no ide what to do. Checkpoints no one to help us thru.the worst were the bratty young girls that told everyone don't worry..take your time. And because of these very rude girls we missed the flight. I fell on vacation. Which is hard. Punta canta was 1000% better!

Flying out to Athens Greece on a 9 and 1/2 hour trip on a B787-8. My 1 star review is because of how extremely tight American Airlines have gotten with the Economy Class. First there was no more room overhead for our bags and the foot space was horribly tight with no space for a bag! We just came a month earlier on a Luftansa flight to Bucharest Romania and they had a decent amount of space on there Economy Flights. I would not recommend AA for such a long flight. I would go with another airline that cares about people, not just how much money they can make from hearding as many people as possible on a plane! (I'm 10'11inch and 220lbs)

Please update your check bag policy. The measurement system is outdated. I’ve used the same checked bag on numerous flights on your airline and others and it fits perfectly. When a client goes through the trouble of wanting to bring their bag on board and then the attendant decides to measure it and it is slightly bigger than your outdated system the experience is extremely poor. #pleaselisten

British Airways is awful. I've flown with them twice and both times my flight arrived over 1 hour later than scheduled. Missed my connecting flight both times and their customer service representatives refused to provide accommodations on both occasions. I cannot stress enough how awful this airline operates.
The saving grace was American Airlines (connecting flight we missed due to British Airways) was awesome and provided us with a hotel. If I ran American Airlines I would terminate my partnership with British Airways because they absolutely suck!

Incredibly long wait times and when I tried to change the return flight date it was asking me to pay $2500 USD and my original ticket cost me $900 USD. I haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone. Do better

The airline is great. The Philadelphia Baggage handlers are horrible selfish lazy individuals who try to take down this airline by giving the worst and slowest service possible. They made sure to hold up our already delayed flight by an extra hour . Lazy horrible baggage handlers I Phila Airport.

It is currently one of the best airlines to travel. They significantly follow safety protocols in the midst of what is happening since 2020. Most flights are very relaxed and the airline staff is relatively friendly. The possibility of carrying my suitcase and bag is very convenient and most of the time the flights arrive on time.

I had the worst experience trying to get through baggage by one of your employees at Philadelphia International Airport. As an employee of an airport her professionalism was non existent and extremely rude. All we tried to do is stand in line to check our baggage and she flipped out because she wasn't done putting up the lines. She said we lacked common sense and are stupid. I apologize and asked if she was alright and she proceeded to be rude until she said this conversation is over and scoffed at us. I hope I can speak with someone about this. I really don't ever wanna fly with this airline again after this.
