A very nice place with a caring staff. Their menu is extensive and offers a wide range of Indian food. The flavors are great and it is beyond delicious.
What a special spot for authentic Thai style cusine!!! They have a wide-range of snacks, noodle soup, stir-fried noodles/rice, as well as veg options. We are all amazed by the rich flavour of their noodle soup, as well as pad thai. The ingredients are so fresh and unique. This is a definitely come-back-again place for our next teip to Montreal. Also great and friendly services from the lovely staffs, thank you for looking after our table of eleven hungry food hunters!
Extremely disappointing! I had decided to eat here after reading all the positive reviews.

The staff are absolutely incredible and the heart of why this place is successful.

The food on the other hand is very poor! The spring rolls had nothing but glass noodles inside! For main I had pad thai, and it was the most bland dish I've eaten in a long time! Service is quick and it appears that they want a quick turnaround and flow of customers, resulting in food which is of poor quality.

I would not recommend or visit here again. Very sad to write this as I had high expectations!

Not what it used to be, my chicken shawarma very dry, maybe because of labor day, but definitely not as good as I remember it to be.
One of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal. A very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I love the options in seafoods that they offer and there's live music to entertain clients while they eat. A really nice experience.

I ordered poutine here it was 4.5/5. The poutine was loaded with a bunch of flavours and textures. However, my “Spicy Poutine” was not spicy at all! Nice restaurant overall, you get to enjoy your food with amazing view of the park near it.

Decent place for a Shawarma sandwich! I had a Chicken Sandwich with/ Potatoes and a Drink. The flavours were on point. The components of my sandwich were fresh. The potatoes were surprisingly flavourful and light. My issue is I was up-saled for the Saj bread which wasn't a great experience. The bread wrapping had a pothole spilling some content to the bottom. I'd go for the Pita Bread next time. 3/5!

I had a fixed menu as result of a gathering/event. Several items from their menu were served. Out of the 6 people in my immediate family, 3 of us fell sick that same night. All of their dishes were drenched in a ton of olive oil and over half of the food items were deep fried. The service was really great, which is why they don't deserve 1 star.
Absolutely adored the location, and luckily there was a car show outside. The cuisine was a highlight! The tocino sandwich stood out as an absolute delight, boasting an incredibly delectable filipino flavor.

The service was excellent.
Liked the location of the hotel..
The only issue was with thr design of the room.
It was strange having a sink in the hallway and the toilet abd shower being in a closet together.
There was also a lack of chest of drawers
The terrace was also not used properly. It has a great view of Montreal.
They could have put a bar up there.
What an amazing experience! Amazing authentic Greek Cuisine (you don’t go there to eat pita souvlaki) the food was amazing and very well cooked & seasoned. The music and ambiance was amazing and actually seeing customers dance traditional Greek style and having the band singing was worth it alone. We sat next to stage and no issue with the volume. Our waiter was spot one and the best great service. My mouth is watering just writing this review :) if you a local or visiting Montreal you have to try place it’s a must! you really need to try this place. Pricing is right especially for the quality your getting, can’t wait to go again and to bring guest so they can share our experience. Btw I wish I paid attention when I got there but they have Valet Service no need to hunt for parking.

Avoid.

Worst experience ever! The food is average to above average but the service was HORRIBLE!

We were constantly ignored by our server, our food and drink were late and the only 4 times that our server checked on us was to let us know that we should hurry since there was another reservation for our table!
We had called to reserve a table beforehand, the reservation he was mentioning was in more than 2.5 hrs, and there were multiple tables still available in the restaurant!! It just felt like they wanted to kick us out from the moment we sat down.
It still took us five minutes of all staring at our server for him to acknowledge us and bring us the checks.
We all payed out and when we were at the door and about to leave one of the staff( owner or manager) came to us and started to insult us and called us thieves!!!!
Reason: they were expecting us to tip more! To be clear we had tipped them… and not because of the service we got but only just because some of us work in the same industry and understand how things work…

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, do not waste your time and money here.

Our room was small. Having said that, the decor was beautiful and the designer made great use of space. Gorgeous washroom. I loved the shower. We had a small window in the room, reminding you it's an old building that has been renovated. Nice details in supplies - lush towels, nice selection in mini bar, red wine & wine glasses and wine opener awaits. Nespresso machine and cups ready to go. Bottled water. Individual Shampoos & hand cream. The hotel itself is charming. It is valet parking only. I believe that was $47/night. The location is special - perfect. The hotel offers a rooftop terrace for drinks and meals. It's also connected to a restaurant on the main floor. There is a shop that offers casual wear and some art. We didn't have time to take advantage of the spa facilities. Service was excellent. They do turn over the bed in the evenings. They replenish your room in late afternoon. Everything felt new and very clean. We loved it and would definitely return. Enjoy your stay! 🍷
Food was amazing!! Try the lamb chops or bifteki. Best I've ever had. Unfortunately the prices were high and the wine was totally overpriced. The loud live music (Greek music is not my thing) makes it impossible to have a conversation. Service was good, but could have been friendlier considering the prices.

Very elegant boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Port. The interior is beautiful, the rooms are clean and the service is very efficient. Drinks on the rooftop terrace are great with nice views of the waterfront. Keep in mind that due to its location it is very busy, crowded on the street level and looking for parking is pointless. They offer on-site valet parking which is worth it just to avoid the headache of old port traffic. Obviously everything you could want is a few steps away and there are dining and cafe establishments at the ground level (Maggy Oak's and cafe Olympic).

You start by ordering and paying at the cash, they will then bring your meal to your table! :)

We had the boat noodles (flavourful but very salty), the crispy pork rice (very nice crunch on the gailan and pork) and the papaya salad (pretty standard)

The Thai milk tea comes in a cute metal bowl and is so cold and refreshing.
Love the atmosphere and deco.

Great little thai place!

Recommended to us by a friend and it certainly didn't disappoint. Mae Sri Comptoir Thai operates as a dining Thai street food establishments. Menus are provided via QR code and you go up and order at the counter when ready. The venue is small so tables are fairly close to each other bit not so much that it is uncomfortable.

The menu is a fair size but not overly large and there is a decent vegetarian selection. My partner and I each ordered a thai iced coffee, a variation of the pad thai (1 normal and 1 vegetarian) and, of course, the mango sticky rice. Portions are not huge but I wouldn't say they were too small either. We both felt full after our meals and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food and the sticky rice. Definitely get the sticky rice 🤤. Super warm and yum.

Service was lovely. Our host/server was really nice and friendly and was considerate enough to double check on language preferences.

I would definitely visit this place again, even if it is just for mango sticky rice!

Chill and cool interior decor. Loved the light fixtures and the vibe of the place. The dinner ware was also uber adorable.
The Food we ordered was authentic and wasn’t too bad. Flavours of some of the dishes were a little too salty for my liking or lacked a bit of spice but the Pad Thai was great. The Mango sticky rice was really good but the portion was small for what it was.
It did take a little while to get our food and we completely get it with there be a shortage on staffing everywhere. Overall a great little casual Thai spot.

The location of the hotel is very good, but they do not provide good services. I stayed in this hotel for two nights to prepare for my wedding ceremony. I asked for a steam iron and a mirror, but they did not have them, and the employees of this hotel did not even congratulate me. Their behavior was not friendly and warm. The facilities inside the room were not good at all, there was almost nothing in the room and for everything you had to call and ask them to bring it to you.The room was clean, but my bed sheet was torn, I do not recommend this hotel

This was our first time in Montreal as we were attending a convention. We chose this location as it looked very nice and it was extremely close to the congress center.

We were disappointed by the actual size of the rooms, as they appear much bigger in the photos. We also encountered some issues with the cleanliness of the room. The sheets had orange stains on them, and the pillows had brown dirt/dust that could be wiped off. The carpeting was hard, and slightly sticky as well.

The bathroom design was average, however the shower knobs need to be changed to handles as it's impossible to turn them when wet. The pocket doors are also not a great idea as they don't block any sound at all, which is fine if you're alone, but not fine if you're staying as a couple. I suppose this is just a side effect of having such a small room - regular doors aren't plausible.

The location is amazing, it's extremely convenient for what what we were doing, and it's very close to a lot of amazing Cafes and restaurants in probably the nicest part of Montreal.

I don't know if I'd stay here again in all honesty just because of the price/value and cleanliness. Next time we're in Montreal we will likely try another hotel.

Overall this was quite an average experience. Not bad, not incredible.

Shared a room here for Otakuthon 2023 and it was great, probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

It's right next to the convention center (and therefore the metro), cleanliness is top notch and the everything is very modern feeling.

The room is smaller than what you'd usually expect in a hotel but I don't feel it was cramped with two people. The space is used very efficiently.

Shower pressure and the temperature control was on point, better than my shower at home.

Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

The highlight of this was when waiting to check out, a helpful staff member plucked us out of the line to do the check out at the kiosks to the side, and also stored our luggage for us without having to do a thing.

The only hole I felt was that there was no airport shuttle.

Nice and small MTL style restaurant, recommended for regular days and weekends but not for special occasions (a day to remember), for your interaction with the staff will ruin your mood and day.

- tasty food. 👍

- Out of 7 dishes , 5 was good/1 very good/1 very bad (Riach).

- 35 minutes waiting for food. 🤔

- A special request for a dish has been neglected ( i understand they were busy).

- Literally, i been asked ,"ARE YOU STILL EATING OR YOU WANT IT TO GO!!" (empty tables were available)👎

Wooooooww a big woooww.

Unfortunately, i can't call this place a Middle Eastern restaurant because it does not represent the culture.

I've done a fair amount of travel, and this is one of the best hotels out there. Exceptional service, nice design/ decor, comfortable rooms (great showers!), and a perfect location for enjoying Montreal. The staff are very polite, professional, and helpful (and they're very patient whenever I try to practice my French, which is terrible). Can't recommend the William Gray highly enough.
Vege Green Curry with noodles was so flavourful and delicious!! Thai iced tea was so good too. Will come again for other Vegetarian / vegan Thai dishes :)

This hotel is well situated and the valet service is awesome. You know your car is safe. The cleaning service however still needs some
Improvement. Our used towels were not
Changed for the first two days we stayed and were left hanging wet on the hook. We stayed for 3 nights and the shower gel
Was not refilled at all. We had to use the soap given to wash our hands near the sink as we had no more shower gel. Everything else is great.

If the line is long. It will take a very long time to get your food. Is the food worth an hour wait? Let me tell you about it.

There are a variety of options from poutine, to plates to wraps and sandwiches.

They freshly shave each cut of meat and load it into your dish with a variety of fresh veggies and flavorful sauces. Each bite is a Mediterranean party in your mouth. When you’re done eating your stomach will be full and your breath stinky. (Which is a great sign for a shawarma place).

Is it worth an hour wait? No.
Is it tasty? Yes.
Would I recommend? Yes.

Dean at the front desk made our stay pleasant. I truly believe in the first encounter, it gives a sense of the vibe a certain place has. Dean was very welcoming and friendly upon checking in and checking out. It is because of him and the cleaning staff that this place is 5 stars in my books. The location is decent as well. Valet parking is $35 .

Lovely hotel, great location. We love the rooftop terrace for drinks and dinner and the library/coffee shop area. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times, but this time was a bit less impressive than before. We were first offered a room with very tiny windows that felt claustrophobic despite high ceilings. The second room offered was much better in terms of light but overlooked a noisy back alley where bins were removed early in the morning. We still had a great time, but for the price, I have very high expectations, so 4 stars from me this time.
Really fantastic hotel in an ideal location in Old Montréal. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Loved the spa. One complaint was the room we were given was by the elevator and the room opened right to the bed rather than down a bit of a hallway which is typical. The TV was placed in an odd location which made watching it hard. The housekeeping was terrible! They constantly came late after we’d returned to rest after all day out, forgot to replace coffee mugs and take old ones, didn’t leave new wash cloths, never once replaced lotion. For such an expensive luxury hotel, the housekeeping was really oddly sloppy. We did love the front desk people, spa and concierge. Maggie Oakes was pretty good too. We will be back but will ask for a better room.

The food was not good. We peeked inside because it was so cold out, and the bizarre and very original entry up a flight of stairs drew us in. You order at a counter, and the food is behind a glass (similar to a deli or cafeteria.) The kafta kebab plate was OK but nothing special. The meat was seasoned well enough. The salad, rice, hummus, and falafel (which is not included with the plate) were decent. I also got the poutine, and it was the worst I have ever had. It was made with old, soggy, lukewarm pan fries and had a nasty, sharp taste...don't know whether it was the potato or the "gravy." It was an abomination, and they must realize it is.

The man working there was a bit rude at the end. During the meal I innocently asked him whether refills were given for Pepsi. He rolled his eyes and with obvious irritation said no, but (thanks to his boundless generosity) he would allow me one. Very awkward and passive-aggressive. If there are no free refills, just politely say so.

This is an exceptional hotel. Rooms are excellent, everything is very clean and the daily cleaning service is incredible. The staff is also very friendly. I made two reservations and they even corrected my wrong reservation without making any problem. The hotel is very close to the one of the main metro station (3 min. walk). I recommend it to everyone visiting Montreal.
We were invited to a wedding so no comment on the rooms as we did not book one. Speaking about the establishment per se,it was fantastic. The first and most important factor would be it’s incredible staff. I am speaking top of the trade attendees.
The hotel itself was gorgeous and comfortable. Restrooms plentiful.
I did notice a spa which was being frequented which is a nice touch to a hotel.
Location is great if you’re around the downtown area.

Incredible street Thai food. The flavours are explosive and amazing. Papaya salad was fresh and loved the Tomyum soup. Servers were very kind and explained everything to us. A wonderful gem!! Highly recommend - great atmosphere, food, and lovely people.

The food was delicious!! Wonderful flavour, cooked well. We ordered a huge spread - different dips, salads, salmon, the lamb shank - and all of what we ordered was so, so good! One of us was vegan and another was gluten sensitive - and we had no trouble finding many options to share on the menu, without compromising or substituting ingredients.

The atmosphere feels intimate and buzzy at the same time. Great for groups as well as dates - the food is meant for sharing.

Our server took great care of us as well and made us feel so welcome. You can tell that the staff really cares here.

We will absolutely be back!

Great Filipino food! I’m not sure if they are authentic since I’ve never been to Philippines. But the food were right for my taste. Small dinning room, so I recommend to reserve table if larger group.
Great bilingual service, I had a thai beer with the table d'hôte : a soup, three small appetizers, and a main with jasmine tea. Had the curried soup with duck, peppers and basil #16, a lot of food, great with sticky rice. Mid-range price but nice ambiance and well-located

Quick service and pretty good food. One of the better shawarma in downtown.
Highly recommended if you are in the area.
Order mixed shawarma bomb saj wrap, the melted cheese is a new addition but goes so well with the fries and the shawarma.
Only drawback is I wish they put more toum. Next time will ask for extra toum and see how it goes.
Always the best place for special occasions with friends or family. Not cheap but still excellent value for money. With great food (make sure to pick the group menu) live Greek music, well dressed crowd (especially the ladies) and amazing atmosphere. Loved it every time I came, surely will not be my last visit :-)

Very friendly staff and lots of variety for a quick bite. Great coffee as well!
Last weekend I celebrated my 35th birthday at Mythos. Everything was beyond my expectations! Food was terrific, even though it was a fixed price group menu. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and nobody left hungry. Christopher was serving our table and he was never far away all evening. We were a table of 15 gay guys and trust me we are not always easy to deal with! 😝 so great job Christopher.
The authentic Greek music makes the vibe very fun.
Will most definitely be back!
Mae Sri is some of the most authentic Thai food I have come across since moving to Canada 10 years ago.
I appreciate their focus on noodle dishes which I find generally lacking in the entirety of Toronto’s Thai food scene. I was transported back home in the flavours here.

This place has a few vegetarian options. I got a falafel plate and falafel wrap.
For the wraps you could choose the bread - saj , pita or baguette. We got the saj.

We asked for extra hot sauce for falafel plate. To be honest, the hot sauce wasn’t my favorite, it had a peculiar chilli taste and wasn’t very hot. It was flavorful but not hot.

Amongst the falafel plate and wrap, I enjoyed the wrap more. And humus was really good!

Coming to the service and other things. The food preparers were really nice, and soft spoken. There was a big queue to order food. We got to counter in about 10 mins. The food was packed neatly. And the falafel sandwich was wrapped in a green paper, that was neat!

Ordered off Uber Eats and the food was flat out horrible. Chicken was so dry that it was comparable to leather. The beef wasn't much better, tasteless and tough. And thank you for providing me with less than a teaspoon amount of hummus and garlic (sarcasm).

Stingiest restaurant ever. Ordered 4 sandwiches (3 falafel trios & 1 chicken sandwich).
I only received 1 falafel sandwich along with potatoes, rice, and one drink. Also everything tasted bad. Potatoes were too oily and burnt, the sandwich was nearly empty and the rice was just gross.
Save your time & money..
I recently stayed at Hôtel William Gray and I have to say I was blown away by the experience. The hotel is located in the heart of Montreal's Old Port, and the location couldn't be more perfect. Everything you could want to see is just a short walk away.

The rooms at Hôtel William Gray are spacious, elegant and comfortable. I loved the modern decor and the fact that they have kept the building's historic charm. The amenities in the room were fantastic - from the comfortable bed to the luxurious linens and the Nespresso machine, they have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They went out of their way to accommodate any requests I had, and provided some great recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. The hotel also has a great rooftop bar with stunning views of the city.
Conveniently located. Best (and sweetest) mocha. Friendly service.

Not a good experience at all. The place was pretty much empty and looked worn down. Nothing was really fresh. They microwaved the meat. I was disappointed with the food and the service. As I tried leaving, both doors were locked and the guy working was nowhere to be found even after I yelled excuse me a few times. I had to manually find the lock and unlock it myself. Not returning.

Great food, decent service (restaurant was empty but couldn’t move tables because of reservations - other tables stayed empty for more than an hour). We got 3 dips (baba ghanouj was a standout, the Muhammara was a bit dry) as well as the cherry lamb kofta and a fatteh. Would come again.
I had a truly unique experience at this Thai restaurant. The restaurant itself has a distinct and interesting vibe.
They have many delicious dishes that I've never seen anywhere else. Each dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was so welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The food, service, and ambiance all exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to go back again soon.

The staff and our waitress was the sweetest angel on earth: my food arrived cold twice and I felt terrible about making trouble for them but she reassured me countless times and fixed the situation twice with the kindest smile and offered me desert at the end for the inconvenience! And the food was of course incredible : super flavorful, fair prices and awesome service !

I’m not an expert on Middle East food, but these plates tasted good to me. The portion is big and good to share with friends. If you want to try more dishes, it’s better to come with more people :)
The price is reasonable and service was good.
Remember to reserve a table on weekend

I have been here 12 years ago when I used to work near by but decided to go back, the decors has changed obviously ( very trendy and modern) and gives nice ambiance.

their food is a whole different level. it was so good I remember each dishes I ate that night. Tasty, good portions, great service,

i was with a bunch of my friends, and we kept saying how good their food was. definitely will go back soon or later. I am one happy client.

Beef shawarma had a good taste, but I do not like my side dishes, the fried potatoes and macaroni salad! The fried potatoes were a little bit uncooked and row, and the macaroni salad was sweet!
Actually the best Greek food I've had so far. Went as a small group and enjoyed the $65 per person group menu. Everything was absolutely delicious and we were all stuffed by the last plates. Great food, great service. I recommend this spot for a great sit down dinner.

Loved it! The atmosphere is great and they play good throwbacks (not too loud). The spicy mango cocktail is amazing and the food is tasty. I highly recommend the brussel sprouts, they were seasoned to perfection. Great service as well. Would recommend
Stopped in for a quick bite and the staff were warm and super helpful in their menu item recommendations. Ordered the kaeng panaeng with shrimp, which was so flavourful. The little bunch of young peppercorn in the curry was a welcomed surprise! The kaeng choochee with duck was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back with a bigger group so I can try more of the menu!

Definitely don’t recommend!! Based on our last experience, the food wasn’t presented well, the beef plate didn’t have any rice and there was a random piece of chicken for some reason, and the beef wasn’t fresh at all.
Finally, I asked for an extra garlic sauce but got a little container with salt inside (didn’t realize until I got home)
I love love love love Junior! I have been here multiple times and the service is always quick and friendly. The food is amazing, and the portions are large (you will be full by the end of the meal)! The food is great, but the sauces they serve their dishes in is where the flavours truly shine. The cocktails are also amazing, you have to try the spicy mango cocktail.

The choice of music, 90s and early 2000s is great, and not too loud.

The only point I would note is that, maybe last time I went they were running a little bit low on the mango, so the mango salad contained a lot of « filler » veggies (in the past this wasn’t an issue). I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for this time!
The morning staff is amazing. Quick, efficient, friendly - I never worry about mistakes in my order or being late to work with them.
I recently discovered this perfect little cafe.
At first, walking by I just considered it another overpriced cafe in the metro but I was definitely wrong. The coffee is great with many options and the desserts are really good too. The most important part is the kindness of the staff and the ambiance it brings to the place when people are stepping in for their morning coffee. You feel just at home and it makes it worth the starbucks prices. Great job to the staff!

Recently visited Café Cantinova had a tuna sandwich and it was so delicious that had to go back for the same sandwich to taste it again, the place is reopened, and new management kept the place very clean, well maintained & very nicely decorated. Also if you are a music lover you will love this place, you find music equipment displaying, turntable vinyl etc., if you are interested you can buy the product on the spot.
Visiting Montreal to see family and would like to take our family to enjoy Thai food. So we found this restaurant.

We booked in advance directly to the restaurant because we have 7 of us. We tried to book through Opentable first but they recommended us to call or send an e-mail to the restaurant instead.

The restaurant was not big, not small but the setup of the tables was quite dense. There were some tables that we could sit on the floors. (Traditional unique Thai style in the old days)

We did not have a high expectation from the beginning but the food was nice.

Chicken satay with peanut sauce and cucumber sauce was delicious.

Garlic fried chicken wings were yummy.

Fish cake was good for some levels with cucumber sauce.

Somtum was a bit too sour but acceptable. Stucky rice was soft and nice.

Grilled shrimp came with spicy and sour mango salad.

Tom Kha was tasty but could be more concentrated.

Pork praram was nice. It was peanut sauce with pork and fried spinach.

Sweet and sour chicken was tasty too.

Fried shrimp was tasty, coming with sweet and sour sauce.

Pad Thai was delicious too.

Panaeng Neu (Beef curry) was very tasty.

Fried rice with shrimp was ok but a bit too wet. But we ate with other dishes so it was fine.

All of those dishes were nice and enjoyable. Except for one disappointing dish, that was Fish with chilli and lime. They used a frozen fish in big pieces. What a shame. The taste wasn’t there and the fish was too firm and overcooked.

So far it was a good Thai restaurant in Montreal. Chef was Thai.

Went here for a birthday. I will start with the strong points. The service was good, the servers were friendly and the food was brought out rapidly. We had a fixed menu.
Most of the entrées were quite good.

The main dishes, however, were not great. The lamb chops were very chewy and rather anemic (almost no meat on the bone).
The desert balls were undercooked.

The night ended with the server essentially putting 18% tip on our bill (not that we didn't get good service) but it definitely left us with a negative feeling as we walked out.

The dinner was not terrible however at this price range there are much better options in the area. I won't be returning here.
The lady making muffins and sandwiches was named Wendy and she was doing everything by herself and was damn good and fast at it too so kudos to that star employee, she deserves a raise, I love the coffee and treats made by Wendy and the staff.
Lovely staff, fast service and great coffee. Azram is always pleasant, courteous and remembers customers orders and names. The rest of the staff is very polite and efficient as well. This is my go-to place for coffee when heading to work. Highly recommend!

We had a great customer service experience. The waiter was very nice. Brought us everything we asked for. To me the wait time was typical. Water was refilled normally. Thai iced tea was good. Partner's black Russian was good. Food was very tasty. Got crispy duck and a peanut curry with chicken. Green mango salad without shrimp. I thought the portions were great. We both left satisfied. Seating options included floor/table (with feet going under the table into a space underneath) and chair/table. Super accommodating and friendly with our baby, too. Didn't get to check bathroom for changing table. Parking was free and available on the street.
Oh man the halo halo is actually the best I've had in Montreal. The dishes are great too. I'm going to be a regular!

Me and a couple of friends came to this restaurant on Saturday at around five
o'clock-ish and it was overall a great experience. I got myself a large beef shawarma and made it a trio for 3.99$ extra and I have to say that it was well priced. The beef shawarma had tons of flavour and was very filling. It was everything you would expect of a shawarma: delicious, savory and well priced. However, I have to say that the garlic potatoes I got in my trio were not what I thought they would be. They tasted fine, but not top tier. I would suggest getting maybe some fries instead. But overall, I would one hundred percent come back to this restaurant and I totally recommend you come check it out. This place is probably one of the best shawarma places in town.
Pretty good, but I wish they'd focus on being quick (by nature of the location, every customer is trying to get on a train in 4 or 8 minutes). It seems really inefficient that the cashier has to stop taking orders to make breakfast sandwhiches.
Wonderful staff & good coffee.
The staff I dealt with is Azram. She is very pleasant and took the time to explain to me the types of coffees they have and told me she can make me any type of coffee the way I like it. To be honest I didn't feel like having a coffee. I just stopped to check it out for next tome as I always pass by since Lionel Groulx is my metro station. But because she was so pleasant and patient in dealing with me, I decided to get a Latte. Azram and I ended up having a good chat about various things but she was quick to notice customers if they came in and to tend to them. This to me is an example of a great customer service.
I will be returning for sure.
Went to this restaurant on a whim because I was craving Thai food. We had the table d’hote at $35, which was a fair price for a soup (4 options), 3 appetizers and choice of 1 main. The coconut milk soup (#4) was delicious and the appetizers of spring roll, peanut butter dumplings and chicken satay stick were all really good. However the meal somewhat declined thereafter. We got the red curry with vegetables and shrimp and sticky rice and the chicken pad Thai. The curry sauce was good but I found the veggies too undercooked, especially the Thai eggplant which was quite hard. The shrimp were plump and there were a good amount and the rice was good. The pad Thai was very plain and totally lacked punch or much flavour, unfortunately. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice as they also had a more traditional seating area with colourful low cushions and tables. The waiter was also very nice.
Highly recommend 100% fantastic.

I always walked passed this cafe, on my way to work, and back home. Never wanted to stop, because the metros convenience stores and cafes are usually over priced.

To my amazement, there was a very kind lady at the till. I grabbed my selection, and ordered my drink. Surprisingly it was way cheaper than I expected, and it tasted better than any other cafes in the metro or around the city. I highly recommend.

They say that small restaurants have great food for cheap and that it would blow your mind. Most of the times you get disappointed but that was not the case with ttbis small family owned restaurant. They were very helpful, they explained to me each dish. For 10$ you get a very filling meal with a tastes that you would never expect. Yes indeed it would help to have a place where all the prices are written but if not the experience itself was amazing.
It's affordable , their food here is good. They offer as combo, two different menu and rice plus drinks, Their desser is yummy, yhey offer also bubbble tea and the halo halo as we Filipinos name it .
It is licated in Victorua Road and it easyto find too.
Went on week lunch time
Had rice with some kind of beans on top with 2 stick of pork and a slice of eggplant for 10$
It was quite basic and plain for 10$, also as there was no menu i actualy had no idea of how mich it was gonna be.
IMO, for 2 or 3$ you can get something much better within 1 street from there
No menu. You pick two dishes from behind the counter, and then either rice or noodles. I came around supper time, and there were about ten choices available. $10 tax included. Bar and karaoke available. Dishes are tasty and authentic. I tried the pork afritada and spring rolls, with rice. Good food for the price.
