I came here by a cruise ship and only have such short limited time on this island.
I found this place after a thorough research for authentic Mallorca food experience, and I decided to gamble and spent my limited time (and stomach capacity) to eat here.
Needless to say, that I made the BEST DECISION by spending my limited recourses here.
A must order dishes including:
1. Cured iberico ham. I never thought cured ham can be this delicious and not gamy
2. Grilled oysters. Delicious and fresh, perfectly complimented by the garlic on top
3. Lobster paella. Definitely mind blown with the freshness of the lobster, and the umami sea flavors in the soup.

Quick review of this restaurant. The food is okay if slightly overpriced. However the service is unbelievably bad. We were walk in customers at around 6.30pm and were immediately told they needed the table back at 9.30pm. Which to be honest seemed reasonable. However for the entirety of the meal we were hurried and given snide service by one of the waiting staff. He continued to check when we would be finished even if we clearly hadn’t finished our food. Finally towards the end of the meal he huffed loudly next to our table and cleared our plates without asking if we were finished.
Would say the food is around a 4/5 but the service is 1/5. Go Camino instead!

To be honest - we was waiting a bit for menu or even table but decided to choose on my own. Pizza ain't too bad, crepes ehh...could be a bit more fresh but acceptable. But kids menu amazing! For 8,5€ and you've got big portion of fries and chickens/hamburger or spaghetti bolognese + drink.
Staff could be a bit more friendly but... it is as it is 🙃 seen worse really.

Our dinner was so good, we went back the day after for lunch and were equally blown away … the delicious dishes is matched by the impeccable service. A must visit in Palma.

A real gem of a restaurant in the heart of Palma. The food was sensational and the service very friendly and welcoming.
The lasagne is the best I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a lot of lasagne!).

Absolutely beautiful place to go! We had a really nice experience there. The three-course lunch is one of the highlights of our trip!

Amazing restaurant just off the tourist track in Palma! Authentic Mallorcan cuina using all fresh local produce with a menu rooted in the Binasallem traditions. Wonderful hostess and an engaging Chef; more than happy to give you the provenance of what he's serving up out of the kitchen. We drank an amazing local red wine from a small bodega; Mesquida Mora in Porreres......GorgollassaD'es Monjos. I would highly recommend both the restaurant and the wine, hidden local gems 💎

Wir wollten eine traditionelle Paella im Herzen Palmas genießen und wurden enttäuscht.
Die Lage auf dem Plaça Major war wirklich schön und die Bedienung freundlich.
Jedoch wirkten diese etwas planlos, räumten die Teller zu spät ab, jedoch alles nichts wildes.
Die Vorspeisen: Bruschetta war in Ordnung, die Patatas Bravas durchschnittlich und die Gambias nur unteres Mittelmaß.
Der Hauptgrund für die negative Bewertung ist jedoch die Paella. Die war weit über das gewöhnliche Maß angebrannt und das gesamte Essen hatte somit einen sehr starken verbrannten Nachgeschmack. Wir haben schon häufig Paella gegessen - sowas jedoch noch nicht erlebt.
Auf späterer Nachfrage wurde geschrieben, dass dies die Galcische Art sei Paella zuzubereiten und diese normalerweise ein Finger breit verbrannt sei. Die Aussage konnte eine kurze Recherche nicht bestätigen, jedoch scheint das dann wohl der Standardfall in diesem Restaurant zu sein.
Die Carbonara war keine traditionelle und schmeckte weniger gut, die Pizza war ebenfalls keine Empfehlung.
Wir werden nicht nochmal kommen.

Luckily we were able to get a table for two at super late notice, knowing nothing about the restaurant until we arrived and saw the michelin plaque.
When we met the host, we were walked through the labyrinth of tables and rooms to our table and were served straight away by our waiter.
We had the oysters, the tuna tartare (amazing), the low temp egg in truffle sauce (absolute stand out, didn't take a photo but this was one of the most interesting and delicious dishes I've had in a long time), and the paella.
Paired with a couple of glasses of wine each the meal came in at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend.

Slow service, but the food is very tasty, though simple
The best restaurant in mayorca. The food was served beautifully and was tasty. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They explained what was in every measles and answered all of our questions. I definitely recommend visiting it if you are nearby. It honestly deserves a Michelin star.

Just coming back from the second dinner in a row. On the first night we got the pan con tomate, the tuna tartar and the rice with scallops, red shrimps and squid: the latter was similar to a paella, with such tender seafood with a perfect touch of saffron. The tartar was spectacular: with a zesty but balanced marinade and A grade tuna.
The dessert we had, was a lemon pie that was just amazing.
We didn't have enough of it, so even if we personally like to try different restaurants, when travelling, this fear of missing out on other places didn't stop us from booking a table also for the next day.
Today we left so happy: my husband and I shared 4 tapas, of which (again) a tuna tartar, the char grilled asparagus (good combination with the sauces), the roast octopus (so tender and absolutely not chewy), and the Iberian grilled pork shoulder (was melting in my mouth).
There's nothing that needed more or less salt, marinade or others, everything was just perfect the way it was.
We'd also recommend the brioche, as a dessert.. a true comfort dessert.
Going to the service, we've found such a welcoming and professional staff. Also, a big thank you to the lady (probably the manager) who treated us so nicely.
The restaurant itself has many rooms.. of which the best ones might be on the first floor, but anyways, also the top one has a good and intimate atmosphere.
Good value for money.. if you eat like we do, expect to pay between €50 and €70 per person, which, in our opinion, was absolutely worth it.
Thank you for two wonderful nights.

Overall, I would say that the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when reserving a table. In addition, the atmosphere is very nice.

Our favorite dining experience over two weeks in Mallorca. Truly exquisite dishes, the chef uses incredibly fresh ingredients and presents a healthy take on local Mallorcan cuisine. We loved everything from the wonderful tomato and goat cheese appetizers to both specials or Sea Bass and Suckling Pig. The desserts were amazing and the locally sourced natural wine paired well with the dishes. What truly stood out was the pride and service of the owners who still feel undiscovered but are making their name in Palma’s incredible food scene. Thank you for this wonderful dinner experience!
The location is fantastic, but when it comes to authentic good tasting food, this place is the biggest let down. I failed to read the reviews before sitting down. Absolutely avoid if you care the slightest about food.
I never leave reviews but this was straight up inedible. No kitchen anywhere and (not to my surprise) the bratwurst and fries arrived half frozen. Sadly we already ordered after reading previous reviews and seeing the lack of kitchen.
The only reason they get even the single star is because the (sealed) Coca-Cola bottles were cold.

This place is really cute. We got take out poke bowls and they were delicious! Very fresh and healthy, the server was very kind too.

We wanted to take several starters and main dishes, but the waitress suggested it would be too much food. So we took 4 starters for 2 of us. And it was a good amount indeed.
They were bringing one dish at a time, while I’d prefer they’d just bring it all together (it’s all starters after all) and we avoid waiting for another dish and interruptions to our time/conversation.
I love burrata, and here it was nice, but I do not agree with the serving, as for me fresh and delicate burrata goes better with fresh vegetables. But maybe it’s just a matter of taste.
The croquettes were too salty.
The canelón was fine. And to my taste the best dish out of all was Pluma ibérica.

The personnel was rude and not transparent on the ingredients contained in the dishes. One of us could not eat tomatoes. At first he admitted there was some, then he looked bothered cause we asked him to remove it. The paella was clearly old and re-heated, therefore, he lied to us and indeed there was tomatoes. If you are allergic to anything you risk to end up in the hospital because of their lack of transparency. The rice was super dried. The clams still had sand in them. The shrimps still had their intestines full of poop. Moreover, we asked some lemon slices and they brought limes but they were clearly left out open as not a single drop fell on the inedible paella. Not to mention the heat and the dirt level (especially in the bathroom). The cherry on top of the cake: we paid 75€ for three people for paella (which we couldn’t finish) and water and the rude treatment. Left the restaurant famished and with emptied pockets

Best meal I have had in 3 months since I started travelling ! Thanks again for the awesome food, drinks and let’s not forget the Paella! My food highlight so far of Europe 🥘

Walk to the bathroom, you get a full view of the “kitchen”. Shrink wrapped frozen pizzas being loaded into a toaster oven. Skip this place!
The sucking pig is a must try!!! Everything is yummy, the octopus, the mascarpone dessert! The service is not that warm and the No aircon so not so comfy sitting there for long time but given the quality of food and the price( super reasonable) I would defi recommend!! Good experience!
We came totally hungry in here and WOW what a lovely place! We were lucky to get a table. But the staff is doing there best to give everyone a table - even without reservation.

A great local restaurant for a typical Spanish lunch. The menu changes twice a week and features local foods along with European and Mediterranean dishes. Well priced and great atmosphere
My friends and I ate here last night, it was wonderful. Lovely couple that run it. I cannot recommend highly enough. Lots of suggestions and details about the dishes and wines. Happy staff and a joy to experience
The food was fine. Not very good but still edible. We bought paella and water. Water is 3.50 euros. They don't tell you how much each drink costs so beware. Only outdoor seating. Food tasted very frozen, and the mussels in the paella didn't taste fresh. Also, there is no wifi here, but there is a hotspot nearby that tells you that this place is a scam. This place is highly overpriced and wasn't worth the price. Would not recommend.
Die „Pizzen“ waren keine Pizzen! Wir haben noch nie so derartig dünn belegte Pizzen gesehen. Die 4 Käse Pizza bestand zB höchstens aus 2 Käsesorten und der Belag war extrem extrem wenig und dünn. Man konnte teilweise den Pizzaboden zwischen dem Belag sehen..
Ich würde es eher als Fladenbrot mit bisschen Käse darauf bezeichnen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr schlecht.

Pizza was probably bought from the supermarket and then heated.
Calamares weren’t fresh something you can easily find in the supermarket ( frozen packages) and fry at home.

Great cafe fresh food gluten-free, vegan, and all freshly made. Staff were lovely and could reassure me of any allergens. Had buddy bowl and poke bowl with smoothies. Defiantly reccomened fo some fresh food. Seating indoors so nice shade from the sun and the heat.
Definitely should have read the other reviews before deciding to eat here but it was one of the only things open. The rating is very accurate. Terrible food, and even worse service unfortunately.
Drinnen ist es schön, draußen riecht es ja nach Platz etwas unangenehm, haben daher auch den Sitzplatz geändert. Insgesamt werden die Gäste dort gerne versetzt, damit bestmöglichst alle Plätze besetzt werden können. Eine Dame neben und musste auf Hinweis der Kellnerin zwei Mal ihren Platz ändern. Geht gar nicht...

How special that we found this unique restaurant in Palma. Small and intimate, with such personal hospitality and refined and delicious dishes. A small but beautiful selection of entrees, main meals and desserts. The owners are so delightful and put their heart and soul into this magic place. Reserve in advance if you can. Highly recommend ❤️
I wish I could give this place a 0 star, and I wish I had googled it before to see the reviews from other clients. Food was so horrible, ordered various tapas and OMG, the food ruined my whole day. THEY WILL NEVER SEE MY MONEY, not even if they were the only place open in town. And it's not freshly made food, it's frozen food. So disgusting my goodness. NO NO

Ordered seafood paella, I mean just bad very bad. Can barely find any seafood… at the same time I saw this girl sitting in the restaurant next to this place she have also ordered the same thing but her’s look so so much better! Terrible customer service. It's absolutely appalling. Not a single smile or thank you. A coke is 4.90 euros, while the place next door is 2.90. When asked about the price, the response is that you are in the city center and this is normal price. Avoid this place.
Pizza war sehr fettig und nicht komplett durchgebacken. Pizza Salami gibt es nicht. Anstelle gibt es Pizza Diavolo. Diese Pizza ist mit 4 kleinen Scheiben (1cm Durchmesser) belegt. Pizza Vegetarisch war in Ordnung, aber auch nicht durchgebacken und fettig.
the paella didnt look like on the pictures and one was a little burnt, since its the first paella I had I cant really say a lot about the taste but I guess it was fine! little water was 4.50 (=very expensive)
Ich hatte kürzlich die Gelegenheit, ein Restaurant in einer zentralen und belebten Gegend zu besuchen und war insgesamt recht zufrieden mit meinem Erlebnis. Das Restaurant bot viele Sitzplätze sowie eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, was mir sehr positiv aufgefallen ist. Obwohl ich persönlich fand, dass die Pizza nicht vom Feinsten war, war sie dennoch gut genug. Der Salat war ebenfalls lecker, mit Ausnahme der Croûtons. Ein weiteres Gericht, das mir serviert wurde, war auch sehr zufriedenstellend, allerdings passte es nicht ganz zu meinem Geschmack. Ich fand die Preise angemessen, allerdings musste ich feststellen, dass das Servieren etwas zu lange gedauert hat. Das Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich und umgänglich. Alles in allem empfinde ich das Restaurant als empfehlenswert.
Wow, ordered the menu, starter the most amazing yet simple fresh salad with beetroot, apple nuts onions feta. Followed by the most tender entrecot and delicious home made chips and peppercorn sauce. The steak was so big I had to take it home. A desert of freshly baked tart atatan. The best value and a quality money could buy super impressed. Service smiley warm friendly, overall an exceptional experience. All run by woman too 💪. Will most definitely be back!
Excellent place for a great evening. Food is probably the best I ever had in all Spain. Especially the paella. The waiter - Andres - is very nice and Keen to provide insight on the dishes and so on. Highly recommend this place.
DONT GO! they charged us 18€ for 5 pieces of calamaris and two beer. calamaris was not calamaris at all, just some random paste fried. horrible place!
This was the only place open on Christmas eve. The rating is low, but actually the food was ok. We had pizza and pasta, of course they we not home made, but tasted fine. The big disadvantage is that you can't pay with card there. Service is fast.

This restaurant was an exquisite experience. Excellent service, food and wine. A fusion/twist of traditional Mallorca food using products from local farms. The presentation was beautiful! Run by a young lovely couple, you are treated directly by the owners and can talk to the chef through the open kitchen window. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely dining experience. The owner and waiter were an absolute delight to Chat with. They are very engaging and good to talk too. Last night there no room to dine. Today we made a reservation and boy are we glad we did. I ordered the rack of lamb which was suggested by our server. My wife enjoyed the sea bass. Both meal were our favorite so far while here in Palma. The best part of the evening was, Elvis and Dean Martin was playing in the background. Would highly recommend this place. We will be back before we leave. Thanks!!!

Not only was the food excellently prepared by the chef with a presentation worthy of a Michelin star, the atmosphere was lovely and personal and the owner has a funny, genuine and happy personality :) a great person to have a chat with! The chef knows what he's doing and he knows it - smiling as he does what he does.
The menu is seasonal, so you could easily return every so often and discover something new. The dishes are like the menu, minimalist and simple, but in a very satisfying and clearly well-thought-out way. The flavours work solidly and no corners are cut - everything is as much homemade as practically possible.
I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend Cascall to anyone. Looking forward to seeing you grow into a well-known fixture of the Palma restaurant scene! 😊

Really poor welcome though. Vaguely directed towards tables and not given any menus. Whilst we were waiting I asked where toilet was, and was advised very rudely that I couldn’t go until I had ordered! I understand establishments want to keep toilets for customers but we were seated and waiting to order! Another waiter came a few minutes later to take our order, and seemed quite annoyed that we couldn’t tell him despite still not having been given any menus.
We finally ordered banana splits and cold drinks, and these were actually very nice.
However, we then had quite a lengthy wait to try and get someone’s attention to get our bill.
Overall we had contact with 4 members of staff, and every single one was rude and abrupt, with one verging on being aggressive. Not a pleasant experience. One of these places that you leave a tip to be polite and then afterwards question why you did that!

We had fantastic, healthy food at this sweet little restaurant. The chef made everything fresh on the spot and she was so friendly and kind in spite of our minimal Spanish. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Two diet cokes just short of 10 euros. They weren’t even diet! I think they make the prices up depending on what they think you can pay 😡
First of all, the cocktails were not a succes. The alcohol was missing, the glass was still dirty and they are simply not worth your money. We ordered multiple tapas dishes, all of them were not good. The squid rings were missing squid, the mushroom were disgusting, the fries too salty and the bread was stale. We paid 4.90 for a glass of soda, which we didn’t know was that expensive (it wasn’t on the menu). The service was bad, the staff was unfriendly (expect for one boy who apologised for the bad food). The toilets were unhygienic and the kitchen was a mess. Would NEVER go again, absolutely wouldn’t recommend. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.
Relaxed and cosy atmosphere with friendly and attentive servers. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Highly recommend the sharing tapas platter 😋😋
Came here to leave a scathing review and looks like over 100 people already did! Food sucks service is slow as hell and waiters are very rude and impatient. Side note- they made us choose between chicken or spinach croquetas but what we received had neither just cheese. These people make me so ANGRY
Very, very disappointed. I wanted to finish off my trip to Palma de Mallorca with a quiet dinner at the beautifully decorated Plaça Major but in vain. I wanted to eat some sea food and this was the only restaurant at the square, the other eateries were Pizzerias and fast food type... I doubt it was even 8pm and the restaurant had pretty much nothing on the menu, all the tapas's were "finished", most of the main course dishes were "finished". With whatever was available, I choose the prawns with garlic main course dish... It clearly looked more like a tapas than a main course dish, without salade, fries, any sort of side dish. I had to ask for bread to accompany. Up to you to judge by seeing the photo if that is a main course dish!!! It's a complete tourist trap...
Horrible place! BY LAW all prices need to be put into the menu, but they only have the food pricing in there. The beverage prices are insanely high! SCAM ALERT! We ordered to 2 small beers and were charged 5,50 each (and got a big one without being ordered). Also for the olives we were charged 2,50 and didn't receive the bread. I never paid so much for a beer in Ibiza or Mallorca. Worst place ever!
A family of four. My wife, daughter and I ordered tapas, which were ok. My son ordered pizza, which didn't arrive. When we asked what had happened, the waiter blamed us when it was his fault. When I tried to pay, the card machine was broken and I had to get cash from an ATM to pay. I would not recommend this restaurant. The owners / staff do not care for their customers.
food is nice enough but waiter was focused on attracting new customers (anyone who walked by) rather than his existing customers that he was half way through taking an order from. low and behold he got our order wrong and then tried to blame us.

The waiter told us the waiting time for the food was around 30 min so we kindly ask to bring two beers, it was a very hot night. After 20 min, we were still waiting for the beers and had to remind the waiter about them. We finally got our beers, but the waiting time for the food was definitely longer than expected, and not worth: paella mixta was OK (chicken was the only meat btw) but the one with seafood was completely dry, almost burnt. We didn't give it back just because it was too late and we couldn't imagine how long it would have taken to get another one... My boyfriend in the meanwhile asked for a medium beer which never came, then he asked for a small one, and it never came. Last weird thing, we got our bill on a Ipad, we payed with cash and we didn't get any receipt!!!

We was searching for the best Paella in town and we found it here! Food was just delicious! And really nice place in the middle of the center. Also I need to say that the bartender was so nice! He made our visit special and he was so friendly! Perfect place in Majorca!
I super liked this restaurant. It should definitely have a higher punctuation here.. we've got for less than 10€ a menu of sea food consisting in entry, main course and dessert, with drink included. The prawn coctel was delicious, the pasta can improve still, but the fresh strawberries with cream mad the job Waiters are lovely, location could not be better and the environment inside is super pretty as well. Everything in wood,candles, music. Recommended and whenever I'm back to Mallorca, i'll come back!
Terrible experience at this restaurant, waiting 1.5 hours for our food, my wife's starter has raw potato (literally raw), then her main didn't even arrive. They then blamed us for not ordering the main despite having a specific conversation requesting it to be gluten free which was totally incomprehensible. The salad was basically salad mix from the supermarket and the service was aggressive, rude and simply appalling. Don't waste your time or money, go anywhere else.

But this was something different, a Pearl in a pile og trash! We wanted authentic spanish cuisine, tapas. Indeed this is what we got, nice personal and very good food.

If you are looking to get what is shown on the menu, DO NOT GO HERE!!!. We ordered the Caesar salad because the photo showed a Caesar salad...what came out was some sort of nasty garden salad with pork and ham, tomatoes and red cabbage. When we asked about it, the waiter went and looked at the photo on their board and said, “yeah, the picture is different”.

The Chicken paella was also not anything like the picture, and was not cooked right. Thought a Spanish restaurant in Spain would know how to do it, but I guess not.

We lost our faith in this square because of the bad service in the other restaurants. We gave it one last try and came here. Dear god.. the waiters are SO friendly! The soups are amazing and the food in general is of good quality! This is one of my new favourite places in Palma. Love the service, quality and atmosphere! I will be back soon!
Very friendly service and a handful of Tapas choices. They were one of the few restaurants open and welcoming guests on the Christmas eve. The portions are big and well made.
Total tourist trap, would not recommend. Food was bland and the ingredients of low quality.
Sat here after finishing our wonderful tapas. The restaurant is very welcoming, the staff are attentive and food is good quality. Between the three of us we had seven tapas dishes and all were full at the end, with particular praise for the homemade meetballs.

We loved it! Also for me as a vegetarian. We were very impressed by the couple (?) that is running this restaurant all by them selves. The lady welcomes and serves the guests like speedy González and she does it all with joy and a genuine smile. The same applies for the chef. They serve classic meals like pasta arrabiata, crepes suzette, mozzarella salad, etc. It was all delicious and the price was just €17,50 for a three course with bread and wine or water. Highly recommened! Ps bring cash with you as they don't accept card payments.
