I frequent this location for lunch and dinner and always have an amazing experience. They have the best Pizza in downtown Glastonbury. The food is great and they have good specials, the manager, Marcel normally takes my order and goes above and beyond to keep the experience genuine and memorable. I have been coming here for a few years and the quality of service, food, and experience has only gotten better recently.
Their arugula avocado salad is a delight. Fresh ingredients, savory dressing and the add on grilled shrimp was absolutely delicious. This is a small salad portion. As you can hopefully see from the picture, it is quite generous.
While looking for a standout pizza place in Glastonbury, I came across a news feature on this restaurant and decided to give it a try that same day. It turned out to be a fantastic experience—the pizza was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and energetic. I can’t wait to make this my go-to spot!
Looking for an experience that is the restaurant equivalent of a lucite hooker heel? Look no further. Enjoy questionable culinary concepts like feta with fish or Old Bay seasoned crunchy calamari while seated on a couch that smells like chlorine. Take in the timeless third floor Glastonbury setting with optional sweeping views of either of two parking lots. Best of all, receive intermittent attention from a ragtag team who were cut from their shifts at Denny's and whose jobs triple as server, kitchen staff, and bouncer. A truly unforgettable Dollar Tree of a restaurant experience.

Amazing first time. I loved everything about this restaurant. The staff is so friendly and attentive, we will be coming back here often. I highly recommend the smashing pumpkin martini.

I used to love this place!!! Haven't been in quite some time so I decided to go in recently, and after my experience I will not come back ever!!! There were 3 of us. 2 of us sat down at the bar first. The bald white guy nor the female working greeted us!!! In fact he just gave us an ugly stare, no greeting whatsoever!!! He then proceeded to throw 2 menus on the bar in front of us. When I asked for a 3rd menu, he pointed at one of the menus he had already laid down!!! I said there's 3 of us!!! He brought a third menu still not a word from him or the female bartender who kept walking by as welll. We sat for a few minutes, they both continued to act as if we weren't sitting there. Still no greeting.....be right with you....can I get you some drinks.....water anything. Finally, after about 15 minutes of sitting and continually being walked by and ignored, we walked out!!! At that point I didn't want this guy to serve me an ice cube!!! It took every thing in me not to let him have it. As a customer service supervisor.....the last thing I am going to tolerate is HORRIBLE SERVICE from anyone!!! I was totally disgusted with the service we received!!! Oh wait....we never got any service....just a bunch of frowns and ugly stares!!!
The food is great, the chefs and staff are very welcoming, I enjoyed the experience at this place and recommend it to anyone around the area, they also deliver to a lot of surrounding towns.
I have now given this place two chances and it was dead both times I went in. I came back the second time because I wanted to hear the band that everyone was recommending. The first time I went the bald bartender was extremely rude to customers and especially the bar back/staff that was supporting him. I was really disappointed in seeing the bartender throwing ice at customers that he knows. What happens if someone innocent gets hit like me? How is this appropriate? I was extremely uncomfortable with this behavior. Also, who wants to order a drink, watch the bartender eat broccoli with his hands, to then go and make my drink that got handed to me with pieces of broccoli on the glass? That is beyond disgusting. The second time I went, I saw him get in the bouncers face and the bouncer ended up behind the bar when the bartender finally got the hint to be quiet because it was the per the bands request that he went back there to ask a question. I'm glad the bouncer was level headed and professional to not get into it with him. Shows who is loyal to you and who isn't. I don't think it is wise to mess with any bouncer that looks like he can win any fight he gets into. Also on one of my visits, I was sitting at the bar and overheard the same bald bartender talking about how he hopes the place sells and how he sells real estate... how does that help support your business if he is promoting the selling of the place. I feel like many of your issues would be gone if this unprofessional rude bartender was gone.
In reality, the Airline Chicken is a very small dried up chicken thigh with very little meat. Loaded potato good, but $10 extra. Broccoli and tomatoes ok. Probably got $1.50 worth of food for $80 something dollars. Also ordered..roasted peach and arugula salad. But it had NO peaches. They subbed orange wedges? Whaaaa?
The server in training was great & helpful, but the manager horrible. Nasty attitude and unprofessional. The pitcher margarita was brought back due to being weak; filled with ice and the cups filled with ice to the brim. Very watered down and sweet, couldn’t even taste the liquor. We informed the server and they brought the pitcher to the bar then moments later returned with the same pitcher stating the bartender couldn’t take it back and brought 3 oz of liquor for us to put in a pitcher. That doesn’t make sense. We asked for the manager; Kara was on at the time due to the main manager being away. She was rude, not understanding or accommodating. My party and myself come from a restaurant background and her restaurant etiquette was not welcoming and didn’t make the customer feel welcomed in this establishment. When we explained the issues she acted as if she couldn’t comprehend that the we weren’t satisfied with the drink due to it, not tasting like it had liquor in it. She took the pitcher away and brought it back to the bar and the server returned to the table and stated that it will be taken off of our bill. Another drink was ordered and again it was not good; you couldn’t taste the liquor and it was too sweet. Once we received the bill we were still charged for one drink due to a person drinking half a cup. We’ve then again asked for the manager and explained the issue and she was not accommodating. Her lack of communication was the issue. She didn’t state we be charged for one drink and left it upon a server who was in training to deal with the matter and they stated the entire pitcher would be removed and didn’t state we’d be charged for one drink from that. She did not takeoff the margarita that we were charged for; one person from the party only drank half. My experience was horrible and I wouldn’t recommend. Its wasn’t a welcoming environment.
The wings were fire! Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The different sauces took them to another level. Whether you like it sweet, spicy, or something in between, there was a sauce for that. Every bite hit the spot. Perfect for anyone who loves good wings and wants to switch it up!"
Went for a girls' night, and it was a great time. There was a DJ at 8:30pm with good music. We had mango white sangrias, which were average with just one piece of orange. Usually, the sangrias i order have a lot of fruit in it from most restaurants.

The man serving me was very nice and helpful he made sure to help me when the card machine was having problems the food was good but I wished they offered a smaller size
I brought my two little ones and super appreciated the wonderful service! We got a barbecue chicken pizza and it was toddler approved, full of flavor, and relaxing atmosphere! The house bread they gave to us as an appetizer while we waited was full of olive oil, garlic, and deliciousness!

Super disappointed. Very bland so I'm not confident everything listed was in the bowl. Did not taste any coconut. I could habw made better at home. Gave it a try and will not return.
Ordered take out, 2 Lamb Burgers, 1 Steak Panni, 1 Chop Salad $67. Got home no salad, options drive back get salad or drive back get refund. Horrible service recovery.

I was looking for a coffee shop but this is more of a diner. Food was OK but nothing special (I had a sandwich). CASH ONLY or venmo.

I was with a group of 10 and, for the most part, we had the room to ourselves. Everyone raved about their food, and we had the best waitress who gave us fabulous service. She gave us separate checks, too. Well definitely go back.

I didn't get a chance to taste any of the food although the men you looked really good. I sat at the bar and met a colleague of mine for a couple of drinks. Very friendly bar staff in the even had me taste a different brand of gin. I'll definitely go back
I rarely leave poor reviews, especially for small businesses, but Glastonbury Coffee Shop has finally earned it after the nearly 20 years that I've experienced poor service and lacking meals here. I've always tried to give it another shot, and have always been disappointed. The food is subpar, the atmosphere is old and stale, and everything that you touch is sticky.
The incredibly rude staff is the worst issue here though. The servers are decidedly unwelcoming, and will make you feel as though you are an inconvenience to them as soon as you walk in the door.
There are so many better locally owned establishments to give your business to. Do not waste your time or money here.

Very nice place to get a reasonably priced lunch! I had thought it was just hibachi for large parties. It's more than that! Lovely wait staff. Tables not too close together. Perfection! Chicken pad Thai was delicious.
Service was the best, felt extremely welcome and smoothly beyond my imagination. Definitely will be going back.
Absolutely loved our first visit here. The food was delectable, every single thing we ordered was over the top. Delicious! I loved the spicy mango margarita and both the appetizers we got (whipped ricotta and fried mozzarella) were so good. The main courses were also top tier deliciousness. Our waitress Michelle T. was so attentive and helpful and knew exactly what we needed for a big party with kids.

First time here, food was good. We had a large group, just a couple hiccups. Our table was not warmed up. Added about 10 minutes. Also had to wait for drinks a little while. I heard they have underground parking, but I didn't see it when I came in at night. So I circled around waiting for a spot. Then at the end of our meal they sat people right next to us even though the other grills were empty. I would go back. It is tough to get a 5 from me, but they were a 4+.

This is a good sushi spot in Glastonbury, it's inside the plaza strip with alot of other big name restaurants, like rooftop, so the parking can get crazy on the weekends.
I visited this location in the past and revisited about a month ago for a birthday party. I must say that the experience was much better than the first. The service was great the staff was really friendly. The prices are on the higher end but, I suppose that’s every hibachi spot. Tip is always included on the bill.

The food however, both my friend and I got pastas, they were less than average in presentation, taste, and portion size, for charging $30+ per dish. The shrimp and calamari in my pasta was too chewy and felt overcooked. And the sauce was too sour.

Food was some top notch Italian and service was quick, attentive, and friendly!! We split the Aunt Josie’s meatballs and they were delicious. My carbonara was really nice too, lots of flavor and felt perfectly indulgent but not too heavy. Portions were perfect all around. Really couldn’t have asked for a better meal while we were in town!
Very good sushi selections. Good quality and flavors. Was impressed at the lunch menu selection as there were many options. Haven't tried the hibachi but its something to try for next time! Location is not facing street, its tucked in to a parking lot/shopping plaza or Eric Town Square.
Ordered the penne alla vodka with shrimp but they forgot the shrimp. Only had to wait a few minutes for it to be added to my dish. Server was nice and so was the runner. They also have a great Happy Hour!
This place might be good for locals/regulars and a cheap breakfast but it's not my cup of tea. Prefer Ken's corner and the breakfast places in Manchester like the Cosmic Omelette. I think the home fries are frozen and the eggs were a little too greasy and buttery for scrambled eggs. My husband's over easy which were better. The coffee tasted weak, and I am not a coffee person, and the OJ reminded me of Sunny D, which funny enough was the best part of my meal as it reminded me of my childhood. Bacon was good. Toast is toast. Sausage was Jimmy Dean's or something similar.
The food tasted a little too clean and healthy. I like my food with ingredients that say things like high fructose, or high salt content... lol, jk. To be honest the food was bland. It was clearly missing flavor from the lack of unhealthy additives, however, I cannot fault them for that. The pizza was also bland but wasn't heavy, nor oily. So I attribute that to clean ingredients. The environment is clean and friendly. The staff is great and friendly. Mahammad, the register dude was funny. Now the food isn't the cheapest, but it's meat and a lot of it. You will get full, portions are huge. They have lots of TVs, sports, and shows on. Nice environment.
I came here with my family, we had a party of 11 people and our waitress was amazing! She was on top of everything for us and overall so attentive. I came here over the winter and got a salad which was delicious! This more recent time I got the scallops- it was good, not great. All there other food is amazing so I will definitely be back! I will say the atmosphere is amazing! When we went for dinner it was a Thursday evening and it was busy! I feel like the noise echos a little so it was loud inside. I would just keep that in mind if you are going with older people.

The food was horrible! I ordered Shrimp Summer rolls, Spicy eggplant, and Shrimp pad Thai. The summer rolls were cut into four small pieces which was split open and I had to eat with a fork. The peanut dipping sauce was extremely spicy hot. The spicy eggplant was ok and the Shrimp pad Thai was horrible. First of all, they use vermicelli noodles, the shrimp was overcooked and mushy. I paid for dinner and received lunch portions. This place is a disgrace!
The service was slow. They were not understaffed. Oh, the waitress was late coming in, and we waited 15-20 minutes for our check and payment to be picked up and ran. There was something, boney hard in the volcano roll we ordered, the 3rd piece into the roll. At that point, we stopped eating it. My tempura vegetables were delicious. Just wished our service was better and didn't come across that hard piece of sushi.
This place is definitely added to our list. We love! The waiter (Caleb) was super nice and helpful. The food and drinks were amazing! The pretzel 🥨❤️, the octopus 🐙 was very fresh and good 👍🏻 the dumplings well, they were gone in 5 minutes! Everything was great! The patio really nice, umbrellas for shade, definitely 2 thumbs up 👍🏻 👍🏻.
Not bad. Keep in mind it’s a chain so the bowls aren’t the same quality you would get from a mom n pop place. It’s mostly smoothie with a few toppings sprinkled over. Anything more & you’re paying extra.

first time ever coming here place was very clean staff was friendly prices were decent we dined outside which was nice as well the food was very delicious i got the Japanese noodle bowl my husband got the mac n cheese w chicken very cheesy and tender chicken i would definitely recommend
The food is delicious here! We loved our time so much that we decided to do one of their 5 course dinners with wine and it was to die for! Everything with the exception of dessert (since they opted for Nutella and toast instead of what was on the menu) was quite delightful. The wine options were exquisite for each of the food pairings. I would definitely return for one of these events!

Fair prices and good portions but the food is almost flavorless. Everything I've ordered was requested with higher spice levels and there was no difference at all. Fried rice was almost like eating it plain and the chicken in it was bland as well. There are better Thai places around
Healthy tasty smoothies and bowls. My wife prefers a healthy option over anything for most of our hunt out and she insisted to check out this place in Glastonbury. There were a lot of options. It seemed somewhat expensive but for health it's totally worth it once a while.
I visited this location this morning, The woman that was working seemed to be under the weather, she was hacking all over the place, sniffling etc, I should’ve asked her to wear a mask, As I was already apprehensive about placing my order so I delayed placing it, As my Husband was loudly saying that he thought she was sick etc, Anyhow, I believe she heard him stating the obvious and so the man that was in the back came to take over, Moral, of this, stay home and keep your germs to yourself, we’re all dealing with enough, I just wanted a Acai Bowl not to contract anything, $14 and some change later.. I was too nervous to finish it , so I threw the rest away :/ only ate the granola and fresh fruit.. I probably won’t be returning until they’ve established sanitary conditions..
Let’s start with the staff: I was greeted with a smile and the young lady was beyond kind and sweet listened to everything I had to say ( dietary restrictions) she double checked everything!! Awesome: now the food just adds them to the next level, it was made hot fresh and quick! The home fries are to die for!! Highly recommend them!

I have to do this indeed. This location never missed a beat! Each and every time I ordered, I was more than satisfied. They're attentive, reliable and efficient. This has been my experience and I have been ordering from them for over a year. Wow. Thank you all for all you do and have been doing. Please stay in Gbury! Have eaten here twice. The food is generally good. On the first meal (dinner) had the best Tom Kha soup ever. The Chicken Satay was good. My entree the first time (basil chicken) and the vegetable dumplings were not as good as others I've had. The service was a little slow on the first visit but the restaurant was full.
The second visit was a lunch. The server pointed out that we could get what we wanted for a lesser price if we ordered the lunch special. Got a duck appetizer that we would order again. And the lunch special was good and came with soup or salad.
Although this is a busy plaza I was able to find parking both times.

I had the basic salmon avocado roll which I normally order from Japanese restaurant. The basic menu can tell you about quality of the place and the salmon avocado roll here is amazing. I can feel the fresh texture of salmon and avocado, and the sushi rice is warm and tasty.
The bartender was extremely friendly. They also provided variety drink not only Japanese drinks. Next time I will try the teppanyaki.

Our server was quite nice, but our order seemed to come out whenever the kitchen was finished plating so we all ate whenever. Only 5 adults.

This review is for the dining side. We were promptly greeted, seated, and given water. The Mhai Thai was delicious, not too sweet, and had a perfect amount of tartness. Sushi was refreshing and filling, but could have been a little bit more flavorful. Our server Kaitlyn was personable while giving us enough space to enjoy our meal.
Had a Rush bowl twice in two weeks! Both times I intended to go to Dunkin Donuts but am so glad I chose this! The smoothie bowls are so delish! It def brings a different twist to other bowls. My favorite is the Beach bowl. The only thing I would change is the level of sweetness. It’s a tad too sweet.

This is our go-to restaurant for special events, date night and happy hour. We bring friends here all the time. The fish is always fresh and the presentation exquisite. Drinks are generous. But the best is the service, especially if you get Lek as your server. She always remembers us and our drinks and how we like them. Always a fun experience.

Recently stopped in to grab takeout. Tons of options to choose from and great selections for lunch. I got the Sriracha noodles with beef that came with a salad for 13 dollars. Everything was good, not super spicy and good portion size. Definitely would go back.
Came here for lunch on Saturday and was very happy with our experience here! The atmosphere was classy, yet relaxed, and I was impressed right away by the Bricco sign on fire when you walk in. Their menu had a great variety on it - the Italian specialities you want, served creatively. We were happy with everything we ordered, and thought the pizza crust was bread-like without being too heavy. Chef/Owner Billy Grant has done an amazing job with Bricco Trattoria, and I’m very curious to go check out his other restaurant now!
Ahh.. Sakura Garden, how I love this place. Sakura is my traditional birthday dinner place to eat. I've been to this one and the Windsor one; they're both fantastic. If you don't leave this place without a grin on your face, I'd be shocked.
Service:
- We've done hibachi every time so I can't comment on sit-down. Hibachi servers are just fantastic. Fun, entertaining, and excellent chefs.
- If there's a birthday, they make sure you have a great time and even the other guests/customers are good company.
- They ask how you want your meat cooked and actually cook it to that which is probably one of the rarer things to see in restaurants.
Food:
- Food is fantastic. Superb. Honestly never had a single bad thing to say about the food they cook, it's all done in front of you so what you see is literally what you get.
- Hibachi includes rice of choice, meat, salad, and a soup.
- I've tried the steak, chicken, and salmon before and it was never a bad move, you can't go wrong with what you pick.
- If you like noodles, YOU MUST add the noodles to the hibachi dinner ($3 extra); I don't think I've ever had as good noodles as the hibachi freshly cooked ones in front of you. You also get a TON, TRUST ME GET THE NOODLES!
- Use the YUM YUM sauce, it's almost liquid gold.
- Quantity is in no despair, you will probably go home with leftovers.
- Quality is also not lacking, did I mention the food is amazing?
- At about $24-30 per Hibachi dinner, it may seem steep, but it is money very well spent.
Drinks:
- The volcano bowl is only at the Glastonbury Sakura, $40 and not worth it at all; stick to the scorpion bowl.
- I prefer the Windsor one, drinks are cheaper and the same.
- Every time I've went we get a scorpion bowl for 2; at $20, you're gonna get drunk, you might need to catch an Uber home. If you wanna get plastered, drink it alone!
- With all that said, yeah... the drinks are good.

- Bathrooms are elegant and clean as a whistle.
- Styling and appearance of the place is upscale, almost fine dining level.
- Got a free birthday desert that was fried ice cream, it was honestly pretty good; thought I wasn't going to be a fan.

I've been to many smoothie shops and this one is by far the most tastiest. My favorite is the Peach Smoothie. The after taste is so peachy. It's absolutely wonderful. It makes you feel good. If you purchase a gift card I believe you get a free smoothie in the card purchased. Love, love this place!
FYI, this place is cash only. Outdated decor, BUT fabulous service and food. I got my order within minutes! Scrambled eggs and rye toast were great. Coffee was a 3 out of 5. I had wanted pancakes but they don't offer real maple syrup.

My first visit to Noodles & Company in Glastonbury in the Whole Foods Market parking lot. The menu had a broad selection of different noodle bowls from around the world. I had the Korean BBQ noodle bowl. It had just the right amount of spice and a really good flavor. The beef was tender and the noodles were great. There were a few tables available so I was able to eat there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for a first-time visitor.

My favorite dishes are the Yellow or Red Curry, which can be made to order. Just let them know how spicy you want it, and what vegetables or meat you want, and they'll make it. This is excellent if you have diet restrictions (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, allergies, etc.) I also like the Pad Thai quite a bit because it's a little less sweet than other places. All of the appetizers I have tried are between good and excellent.
I was in a major mood for fresh rolls/summer rolls tonight and taking a chance on this place did not disappoint! I also got their pad woon sen which was such a pleasant surprise because I feel like I can never find it at Thai restaurants with any regularity! So good!
Here is a nice little Thai Surprise establishment tucked into the strip mall of Downtown Glastonbury. One can enter, be seated and browse the menu immediately. With a smiling waitress comes a greeting and an offer to help with the selections . I chose all appetizers and was beyond satisfied. The coconut soup is sweet and milky with thick chunks of chicken. The summer roll is soft and full of delights with a robust peanut sauce. The veggie dumplings are so soft and thin , they break apart with the green goodness oozing out.
I will dive into a main course next time.

I always love it here! Over the years they have extended their menu to include dishes from all over the world. You are sure to find something you enjoy.
Everything was fine and tasted good, but the Thai chicken soup was a little boring. Service was good. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the value. I paid $13 for my lunch. Got a small pasta, side soup, and a soda. Just didn't seem worth it for a place like this. BUT, the ingredients seem fresh and the portions are big, so if you are ok with the price then I'd recommend it.
An amazing mom and pops place my wife and I are happy we found this place. There not expensive at all and the food was great perfect size I was totally happy with them and not over stuffed. I definitely recommend this place if your in Glastonbury I will definitely be back myself . P.s the coffee is amazing there you can tell everything I had was made with love . Thank you for the great service I received
I came here on a Wednesday afternoon to enjoy happy hour with two others. We got there around 4:30pm and were happy to be able to get a seat at the high top tables. The happy hour menu changes often so I wouldn't bother trying to find it online, and they sure do have a lot of options!
There are wine, beer and cocktail options as well as many small plates. The regular menu also has some good sized appetizers to share with folks.
I recommend the taro fries and the piri piri muscles! They were delicious.
