Amazing food and service! I haven’t had soup for a long time. The food and soup here are soothing. (I took these photos after having half of the food)
We have been coming here for many years and have always been happy with the food and service until recently.
Last time we placed an order for butter chicken with extra chicken and literally got 4 pieces of chicken. I called in and spoke with someone who apologized and said my order would be credited to my account.
Skip to today when I called to place an order and was told no such credit existed and refused to do anything about it. Where is the customer service? I’m not some rando calling to try get free food. I won’t be returning after this. What a disappointment.
Pretty disappointed with this one. Tried it out for the first time with friends and the food was just not great. It’s too sweet and bland. The garlic naan was too thin like papadums. Not stretchy and thick. It also tasted like it was frozen and reheated. I feel this place is overrated. It’s not traditional Indian cuisine. It’s more like it’s catered for the west. Not authentic at all. I’ve been to Indian Flavours on the other side of 130th and I must say, they are the best Indian food in the SE. I hope the food at Karma can be improved as the restaurant has a lot of potential. Also, saffron rice. Why is it green? Since when? Overall, very disappointed and will not come back again.
Fine dining and too spicy doesn't mix. Food is extremely spicy for fine dining on top it does not taste good. I reviewed many restaurants and by far this the worst restaurant in Canada. Your chicken Biryani was filled with gravy and masala so much that if you offer me free food I wouldn't try. I would start with a the chef, fire the chef get a authentic chef from India who knows how to cook in a restaurant. Take your business seriously.
Today, I found god with the food at Belmont. Those boys sizzled on that grittle like no other. Everything looked fresh out of a 2024 food magazine. The food was so good I even took my water to go.
My only complaint would be how busy it can get. Great staff, incredible food and a retro diner atmosphere. I think they might be partnered up with the Galaxy diner as they do share some menu items. A must go to if you’re in the Marda Loop neighborhood.

The employees were super nice and understanding! The staff offered to replace the food I accidentally dropped without charging me twice, and offered to clean it up for me as well. The hospitality in this restaurant is incredible! I would recommend coming here again for the service and excellent food.

Twice now that I have ordered from this place. The first time there was a piece of plastic in the ramen bowl (see attached photo), but I ignored it because the ramen tasted great. The second time is earlier today when I ordered 2 ramen bowls and the bag was dripping wet (fabric made bag) from not being sealed properly. This caused a huge mess on my carpet and kitchen area as I could not just discard it and waste 25 dollars of my own money. Overall, the food is great but due to my experience with delivery and quality issue, I won't be a customer anymore. I hope the business will take note. Cheers.

me and my boyfriend eat here often and we have been disappointed lately, higher prices with lower quality food. Tonight and the last time we ate here we had under cooked chicken wings. This used to be a great affordable place with good food but it’s not been the best lately.
I was very happy to find out that they have dinner buffet. The buffet offered multiple options including beef, chicken, vegetation options and dessert. The meal was extremely satisfying. The server was extremely nice and offered timely and excellent service. The atmosphere and set up of the restaurant was well. I was happy with the experience.

It's a help-yourself semi self service joint for a quick bite. Everything we ordered except for the ramen is on the salty side, but that's just me.
Amazing food. A friend from New Delhi highly recommended this place as good authentic Indian food and it didn't disappoint.
The service was warm, our server was very through on explaining the different dishes and making sure we were comfortable.
The place has a very nice and charming atmosphere. Will definitely come back.
Went there with my friends on Christmas Eve. From the service to the food to the presentation, everything was amazing! We loved it! Both the quantity and the quality were superb. We can easily say it’s the best Thai restaurant out there!

Excellent place and affordable too. Outstanding food quality 😋. Been here 10x already if i remembered correctly 😁
Food was very average and they didn't bring out sprouts and basil until we asked.
Location is great (on 17ave) and there's free parking on the residential streets.
My go to when it comes to Pho. Authentic and deeply flavourful broth with the right amount (or upon request you could get even more) of Nuoc Bao. Copious amount of beef and all for such a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Tokyo Street Market is another one of our go-to place for some simple and authentic Japanese food. They have so many options on their menu for you to choose… Ramen, Sushi Platter, Maki/ Rolls, Sashimi, Assorted Roll Combo, Rice Bowls, Grilled Meat Skewers, Combo Donburi, Yakitori, Gyoza, Chicken Karaage, Takoyaki, Spring Rolls, Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings & Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings (both our favourite!). We also tried the Deluxe Black Ramen, Red Ramen, Tonkutsu Ramen, Shoyu Chashu-Men, Chicken Katsu Curry, Lamb Yakitori, Curry Don and etc. My favourite was the Unagi Don but they discontinued that dish for sometime now. I hope they will bring it back because it was so delicious and flavourful. Everything that we ordered tasted yummy. Prices are reasonable with good quality and portion size. A fun place to enjoy a delicious meal with my family.
We ordered the dinner for 2 combo. Chicken fried rice had no chicken in it, the chicken balls and egg rolls are about 85% dough with barely any chicken in the balls or filling in the egg rolls. Was all kind of bland tasting as well unless it was smothered in sauce. Will not order again.
Best Thai food in SE Calgary! This is our new favourite restaurant!!
I orders dinner for my family and our guests and received 2 items-chicken in black bean sauce & beef with snow peas that were at LEAST 50% onions. The chow mein with chicken and shrimp had 2 pieces ONLY of chicken. Th fried rice with meat was also sadly lacking in meat. This restaurant has gone WAAAYYY downhill. I called them to let them know my concerns and they said I should contact Skip The Dishes. The woman on the phone insisted that it was not her fault - it was all about the people in the kitchen. When I asked to speak to the kitchen staff she said they were too busy and didn’t speak English. DO NOT ORDER from this restaurant- customer service is non-existent and the person I spoke to did not care about the food- just kept saying that it was not her fault.

Have always done take out here. It's fine if you like raw heat, but sadly lacks flavour. This evening we paid extra for the larger shrimp dish, but it was the same sized helping as we've had before when ordering the standard size, despite specifically checking with staff before leaving with the take-out bag. Gonna give somewhere else a try.

Great tasting food, amazing service. Parking might be difficult to park but definitely worth coming here for quality Chinese food. Their dessert is homemade and I don't taste MSG on most dishes. Highly recommend!
We go here between 10AM to 3PM to enjoy special-priced dimsum. We almost always have the place to ourselves! Food is good; a delightful dimsum fix for those cravings. Highly recommended!
Ordered Traditional Butter Chicken, Tandoori Prawns, Garlic Naan, Kheer and Raita. Worst Indian food in Calgary by far. Not sure how they’re still open with such small portions and tasteless food.
The food is so delicious, and as someone who has celiac disease, I was SO grateful and impressed with the kitchen and staff's diligence!! I also appreciated that the gluten free items weren't marked up in price compared to the gluten-full items.

I also can't speak highly enough about the service. Our server (Peyton) was SO AMAZING!! Peyton was so kind and attentive, and seriously made the entire experience an 11/10. THANK YOU, PEYTON!
Family run, local and fresh. They are so kind and the food is delicious. 5/5 every single time. The owner is the sweetest lady. The prices are low and the food fantastic.
I live nearby.
I come to eat here after work.
At least 4 days a week.
And that's with all of the competition around here.

Very good prices.
Very good service.

I really do, love coming here for dinner!

Green Chili's delivery via Skip the Dishes brought the vibrant flavors of their kitchen directly to my door. The highlight was the Chicken Momos, a delectable taste sensation that nearly claimed the title of the best I've ever enjoyed. The momos, delivered hot and steamy, were a testament to the authenticity and care put into their food. The delivery was seamless and quick, ensuring that every morsel was as flavorful as intended. Joining the chorus of other diners, I echo the sentiment of satisfaction and culinary excellence. Green Chili has mastered the art of combining convenience with gastronomic delight. A strong 4.5 stars from me, alongside the high praise of fellow food enthusiasts.

Worth the drive from any part of the city. The portions you get for the price can't be beat. The service was incredible and the atmosphere is very calming. Quiet music playing in the background, beautiful paintings on the wall. Now to the food. The portion size alone for price makes it worth it but the flavors are tantalizing and savory. I've tried both the beef curry and butter chicken lunch combos and both are top notch cooked with love and care. Highly recommend making the trip to Green Chili!
I’ve had many spring rolls in my 29 years of life and never gotten on that’s black inside. I couldn’t even take a bite.

I was sick so I though some chicken soup would make sense, only to get only noodles and no soup. Owner expected me to come back for some broth or come back next time.

They seem nice but give the customer what they order. Nothing pains more than paying for food and getting the wrong item.
Since the owner changed, we started eating their by take out and dine-in. Traditional Chinese NE food. Close to our neighbour hood
Really great food! Enjoyed being able to watch the guys cook. All the staff were very nice and the diner itself has lots of character. Will definitely go again to try more of the menu 😋
The food is quite good here. You need to ask them not to overcook deep-fried items. For a while, the rice had an off taste, they changed brands now it delicious.
Ordered take out ginger beef, Singapore noodles and vegetable fried rice. All delicious and incredibly fresh. Will be coming back.
Went with a group of five and the food was very tasty. We started with Tom Yam soup, two different kinds and then had drunken noodles, three different kinds of curry and a signature dish I cannot spell! Service was friendly. The restaurant was not very big and a bit dated but all was pleasant.
This restaurant was on my list to try and I am so happy I came here Friday night. They were busy but still accommodated us for 8:45pm. Late dinner but so worth it. We had a difficult time deciding what to order and the owner was tending to our table and he made some recommendations. He recommended the drunken noodle and green curry chicken. Both dishes were unreal!!! I usually go for green curry chicken in all Thai restaurants because it's my favorite dish, but the drunken noodle was up there too for me and I would come back for both. They will make is less spicy or more spicy at your request. Prices were very reasonable and the owner is such a sweet man. He stayed and chatted with us past close and he was so genuine. You can tell he puts lots of effort into the restaurant and it shows. The food was some of the best Thai food I have had in Calgary. One of the best restaurants we have eaten at for sure! Will be back! Presentation was beautiful too
I along with my wife, dear friend from Ontario and Mother in Law had a great time and great food at Karma. We had the dinner for 4 and everything was hot and tasty. Our server Breanna was cheerful, helpful and delightful. The owner dropped by our table as well. He is a charming man and added to the great experience. This is a nice, clean restaurant with appropriate music and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff, great food. Love the spiciness and flavors! Reservation recommended.
Very prompt service, value for taste and quantity. Tiny place when crowded. Parking available.
This place has always been my favourite! The food is amazing, good portions, and is priced reasonably. The ramen, rice bowls, and fruit teas are always a good choice.
Do not I repeat do not order the deep fries wonton. It’s literally the wrapper no meat at all. The other food is gold I will admit however this is the second time we ended up with this order of no meat in the Wonton.

This is my first time eating at Green Chili my experience was excellent. The food was great It was perfect for my taste not too spicy. The vibe of the place I love it. I love the music they were playing. The staff was so nice and friendly always welcome everyone with a smile.
We loved this cute little diner. The service was great and the food was soooo good. We will definitely be there again 💛💛
The food is awesome and there’s plenty of parking outside. I visited at 10:30 am on A Sunday and the place was packed. It took 15 minutes to get the order in, and another 30 minutes to get the food. I tried 4 different styles of dim sum. It was worth the wait. The atmosphere resembles that of a busy railroad train station ;)
The dim sum special here is so cost effective. Food is of great quality. My wife and I ordered 7 dim sums for $35 and the leftovers were enough for me to eat another breakfast ;)

Definitely recommend as a cost effective choice to try out if you aren't sure which dim sum place to pick.

My cousin and I came here on a whim. She is from Stony Plain and when she visits she likes to go somewhere different. Her choice this trip was Khao San Thai Kitchen.
Other than the always under construction 17th Ave, it was easy to find and get parking. Mind you it was after 6.
We weren't sure how big the orders were going to be so we only ordered spring rolls and rice and green curry.
The spring rolls were an absolute delight. The presentation was unique and original. So fun. And it contained Khao San sauce. The spring rolls themselves were really good. They were so crispy. So crispy all the way through. I venture to say they were the best I have had. And I have had my fair share.
The coconut rice was fragrant and filled the bowl and an equally appetizing aroma came from the curry dish. Both were really great. My cousin found the curry a bit spicy. But I found it reminiscent of Thailand. It just took me there. Sorry I forgot to take a pic.
We also ordered Chicken and Cashews. This was also very tasty. I really enjoyed this dish. There was plenty of both chicken and cashews. I really enjoyed this dish. It was a real comfort dish.
Our waiter, who I would think was the owner, was so much fun. He was just a joy to be around. He was funny but helpful and he really knew how to make you feel welcomed.
Thanks for a great evening.
Got our order through skip the dishes, when it arrived there was a bird feather 🪶 in it. We tried to eat the rest of our order but was unable too as we could think about was this bird feather . I called and they said the rest of my food that is not fried should be fine to eat 😒
Just amazing!! It’s my second time here and it was just as good as the first time. I had a coffee milkshake DELISH! Veggie Eggs Benny with spinach, roasted red peppers (that are in a brine first …. Soooo tasty) mushrooms and onions. Gotta have that side bacon 🥓
Hands down one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.

Staff is amazing and friendly!!!

If you are waivering…. JUST DO IT, you will not regret trying this place
The restaurant is always busy even on a weekday. The Peking duck dinner was very delicious and very well priced. I would not get Peking duck anywhere else. The dinner came with duck soup, duck fried rice or noodle, 15 flour wraps, and crispy duck skin.

I added on the lettuce wraps and didn't realize how messy it would be because the wet crispy lettuce would crack open and the minced duck and hoisin sauce would fall out of the wrap and drip all over your hands.

Overall, good food and good value.

One of my most favourite stops for ramen. A self-service restaurant.

Tasty ramen with unbeatable prices. Not only ramen, there are also tons of other Japanese street foods that you can try.

1 hour free parking at rear.
10/10 food and service with only two incredibly hard working employees. Food comes out fast and hot with only one (talented) guy in the kitchen working every station, then the worlds friendliest server takes turns with him in the dish pit. I've had a lot of breakfast in a lot of places and this one was truly the best. The belgian waffle breakfast will not disappoint. Come here and tip well, because the prices are great and they deserve it.

Great food - exceeded expectations. I ordered a number of lunch options: pan-fried dumplings, noodles, and green beans with garlic sauce. First bites of all dishes brought a smile to my face.

Excellent — fried dumplings were especially tasty
10s across the board!! A gem of a restaurant the food is just SO DELICIOUS 😋 😍 It's worth the visit!
First time here this morning. Good service. Food hit the spot! We were able to get a seat right away which is nice. The cooks made awesome pancakes for our kids which makes happy kids and happy parents. Thanks very much to the team working this morning, we'll be back!
Lengthy review.

We have been long time customers of this place. Before it changed owners, the food was so flavorful, hot, fresh and done well. Now, I don't know if I will return. I am going to try other places especially because what we got was not even close to what it used to be.

The inside of the restaurant is blah. There used to be a beautiful aquarium, so sitting inside was entertaining. They took it out. There is now a small alter on the floor. No qualms about the alter itself, but perhaps a table could enhance the atmosphere be more pleasant if they tried to make it a more visually pleasing standard. The walls are dingy and look like they haven't been washed in a while. The menu on the wall needs to be updated. The visual cards have ones with no picture. Why not just remove them???

So, for $62, I ordered chicken fried rice, beef and broccoli, garlic spare ribs and wor wonton soup. For the price I paid, you would expect gourmet. We were really disappointed in the quality of food over all.

The chicken fried rice tasted like it hadn't been rinsed before it was half way cooked and then fried. There was hardly any flavor and you could tell just by the soy sauce color it wasn't great. The beef and broccoli dish is a usual go to, but the broccoli was so mushy, I couldn't finish it. The wor wonton was okay, aside from having to remove a huge, thick piece of pork. And sadly, the garlic spare ribs are a definite no for me. They used to be dark golden fried, crisp, full of flavor and tasty. What we got were big mushy pieces of boneless spare ribs cooked to a light golden color and not much flavor.
I won't order.from here again. They need to up the standards of cooking their food. This was a waste of money and a sad disappointment. For 21 years we have been coming here and never had any complaints. After this, it's a no for me. It's time to find a new Chinese food place. Too bad!
Dim sum is good here. Convenient place to take the grandparents

Food was ready and came out very quick. The staff turned the tables very fast. Appreciated the hard work that went into the restaurant
Used to be decent. They either dropped the fish sauce or salt shaker in the vermicelly. Just not the same quality.
I did pay for it. But I don't think it was even edible. Left after 3 spoons. My mouth still overwhelmed with the taste of salt.
4 hours later, I'm still trying to get the taste out of my mouth. Cooks should take a licence.
It's like ordering food poisoning at this place
I ordered Thai soup, no spice at all, just chicken broth. Was the counter person supposed to ask me if I wanted spice? My husband got the fried rice and he ordered spicy. We ate in and he darn near choked to death the first bite it was so hot. I take responsibility though because I did not tip (for counter service???) I just really don’t know what’s right and wrong in that context any more but I thought $35 was high enough for a quick pit stop. We felt that we were treated rather shabbily though.

We came to green chili for the first time, and had a great experience. Arjun was very kind and gave us great service. We tried a new dish that we had never had before, which was delicious, instead of tandoori chicken. My mom was still craving tandoori chicken and he surprised her with piece so she could still get her tandoori fix.
The food was awesome, and the atmosphere was great. The portions were large enough that one dish per person is enough. You have to order rice or noodles separately from your food. There was only 2 of us and it was great food but we had to keep raising our hands high to get something 😉 couple of times when grandma said excuse me to the lady who was passing us she got mad at her and said I will get to you later. Service was awful because they were successful with food.
Today was the first time enjoying Thai food in a sit down restaurant. An enjoyable experience. The customer service was excellent, extremely helpful in making selection of what to eat. Thank you Sam for all your help. The green curry chicken was exceptional. The papaya salad was yummy with a bit of a kick. I did enjoy the sweet and sour Basa.
Went for our Anniversary, service was great, our server stop to chat with us. Peeking Duck is the most popular! We enjoyed our food and even have leftovers for next day. Great service, great food! Will be back!
First time there with my friend. Love the Food and the quantity they give!!
Food are good, service terrible. The waiter makes a wrong order and refuses and unwilling to admit the mistake, and the service attitude is arrogant. Never go again.
First time ever eating at a Thai Express . I had the stirfry with chicken . There was no sauce. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The veggies were undercooked .

I honestly felt sick after eating this food .

Ordered the set meal for 4. 148.00
Food was good. Includes fish with Gai lan, cream lobster, peking duck, duck and pineapple fried rice and duck and Chinese cabbage soup and crispy fried whole chicken

Went back again and this time chose from their selected menu. There's about 20+ dishes to choose from. 14.95/dish. Just heads up, plain rice is 3.50/pp. Suggest get a fried rice dish instead as more bang for buck.
I ordered for my family tonight. The food tastes horrible. The rice may be on week one of being recycled into fried rice. The spring roll was mushy inside. The ginger beef, chicken balls, and deep fried shrimp were hard with so much dough around them. I’ve ordered from here before so I ordered again. Never again. I’m so dissatisfied in the quality of food. It all tasted old. I’ve never had over cooked spare ribs before and they were like paste in my mouth. My kids didn’t even finish what’s on their plate.
Nice patio, excellent food.
We had the spring rolls (they serve them in shot glasses with sweet chili which feels weird) and the chicken pad Thai.
The pad Thai was one of the best ones I’ve had, I really enjoyed it. Others at our table had a red curry, drunken noodles and the papaya salad. All had good things to say about the food.
The one downfall - we were there for almost 2 hours, the service is quite slow.
I did really enjoy the food and will definitely be back, but would recommend you make sure you schedule enough time to enjoy the meal there.

Ordered take out from here for the first time yesterday. Meal deal for two. Price seemed very reasonable and it was definitely hot when it arrived. However Ginger Beef had very little sauce leaving the beef dry in the batter, also ordered beef in black bean sauce which in all truthfulness has very little beef and should be renamed onion and peppers in black bean sauce with a splattering of beef pieces. Quite disappointing overall. Won't be using this place again, guess I should have actually read other reviews first!!

We ordered some Samosas and their signature Veg Paneer starter dish.
Firstly, for the Paneer dish portion size was good. However, where it lacks is the flavours and aroma. Secondly, Samosas were average to say the least.

This would be good for most but if you are looking for genuine mouthwatering Indian-Pakastini /Nepalese flavours then be sure to be disappointed.
Great service, ambience and incredible food. Tom Kha soup was solid, Pad Thai was perfect, Cashew Chicken with the Coconut Rice was also delicious. Highly recommend - best thai spot in the city #GangstalicousUnleashed
One of my top choices for Vietnamese downtown.

Veggies are super fresh and sate beef is lean, which I prefer.

Do wish they sent more sauce and put peanuts on mine!

Excellent Chinese restaurant with tasty food. The sticky stuffed duck was really good, but it needed a day of pre-ordering. Going as a group is recommended as one can experience the different dishes they offer. The other must try dish was the crab steamed rice it was really flavorful. If you are into sweet and sour pork, it was executed well with right balance of sweetness and sour, along with crunchy meat, the way sweet and sour meant to be. The fried garlic and pepper eggplant (aka typhoon shelter style eggplant) is not something people know about but if you are into spicy good, give it a go.
Parking is a concern at that restaurant so one needs to either go early (around 5pm) or go a bit later.

Unfortunately no more buffets all locations of Green Chili:(
Lunch combo 2 (butter chicken, vegetable curry, deep fried something, rice and naan:) was huge portion and all tasty! Super satisfied!
I love Thai Express! It is definitely one of my favourite restaurants. I like that it’s an easy “fast food” option but is also a hearty delicious meal that doesn’t feel like “fast food.” There is a variety of options and I have enjoyed every single one I’ve tried. Definitely recommend!

Wednesday night take out
Butter naan - super dry and inconsistently thick causing dry an doughy parts. It being dry was odd since it was ‘buttered’
Butter Chicken - super sweet version of the dish. Not for our family. Prefer something much more savoury.
Beef Roganjosh - it was ok. Not authenticly spicy though.
Malai Kafta - 4/10 - sauce too milky
We got two ‘flavored’ rices - just get plain from here. Not worth the charge.

Overall meal was 5/10

Will not return
Great little breakfast place!

You get the full diner experience at Belmont Diner. It has about 5 tables and 10 bar seats so definitely be prepared for a wait during peak times. We waited about 45 min at noon on a Sunday. They have hot coffee and heaters outside while you wait.

Service was great and the small staff was super friendly. They were working hard to get orders out and get people seated as quick as possible.

We started with milkshakes - apple pie and creamsicle. We both got size small and it was definitely a small portion for $7 but they were tasty and just enough to tie us over before getting our food.

We got the Calgary’s Choice Omelette and the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. We got the omelette with every single add in possible and it was one of the best omelettes we’ve every had. It was packed full of fresh veggies and lots of meat. The hash-browns weren’t the best we’ve had but not bad. They just needed more time to crisp on the flat top. The eggs Benny was to die for. It was one of the best eggs bennies I’ve ever had.

Overall it was a great meal. We’d love to come back to try more items on the menu.
Love Thai Express WHEN done right…tried this location for the first time and won’t return. I had the Chicken Thai Fried Rice and typically this takes a few minutes to make in every other location but this one. They had my meal boxed up in a minute. It was flavourless, dull and disappointing. I sure hope people don’t base Thai Express off of this location.

Ordered here and never ever will be coming back again. The fried rice is hard like a rock, and it has a foul smell from the bbq pork and has no taste at all. Trust me, I'm Asian, I know what fried rice should taste and smell like. And the chicken wings is bloody all over and undercooked. Straight to the garbage it went. Very sad about it.
I generally love Thai express and eat it atleast once a week . This location by far is the worst . I have tried this location twice and both times , the food has been bland. No salt , no taste and even their hot sauce feels very different from the usual Thai express. Even me being pregnant and VERY hungry could not eat it . We spoke to the manager and the explanation given was because we ordered veggie Thai fried rice, they used veggie sauce. So they gave us some regular sauce and some salt and pepper. Now, we will go home and cook this food again 😉

I was lucky to go there a few times during my visit to Calgary This is one of the best Chinese restaurant in town. The food are very yummy and very affordable. The owners are friendly and the servers are helpful too. It was good for value as they serve complimentary soup and dessert with any order. The tables are quite spacious so it is recommended to go there for dinner gatherings.

Recent Visit (Take Outs): We ordered some take outs for our family dinner and the packing and portion was good. No disappointment!

I’m Asian and I’ve lived in both Hong Kong and Vancouver. The food here is delicious! I consider myself a sweet and sour pork chops connoisseur and they make the best here. Every dish we had was authentic and tasty. The prices are great too. We have enough leftovers for 2 more meals. The service was wonderful being a family-run business. I’m definitely making this place a regular for my family. 10/10!
Food here is definitely over priced as they cheap out all the dishes with barely any veggies and meat, also cheap on the sauces as the noodles are barely coated and tossed, noodles are over cooked as well. Very disappointed as this is not a good replica of "asian food" i will definitely keep going to wok box and other noodle places then this. The pandan iced tea was decent.
First time trying Papa Shunde. The food was very fresh, flavorful, and quick. Definitely will be ordering here again.
Co Do has absolutely, hands down, the best peanut sate pho in calgary. Seriously, it is so, so good - so thick and rich, with delicious flavour and lots of peanut chunks. And just look at how gorgeous and red it is! The deep fried quail is also a delicious item, as are the many stir fry, rice and noodle dishes - I particularly like the curry as well! There is truly something for everyone, including lots of vegetarian options.

I have been coming here for years and the food never disappoints.

And, it's right on 17 Avenue S.W. so you can walk off your food and do some shopping after a delicious meal 😊

We came to celebrate my mother’s 91st birthday and the staff designed a delicious dinner menu for our family that was reasonably priced. They used fresh seafood and made each dish with detail and care.

The staff were kind, friendly and understanding even when the grandchildren were being noisy. We come to Emerald Garden often and their food quality and service is consistently great!
I highly recommend stopping by and trying these folks out! The food, even to go, is spectacularly plated, portions are large for the price, and food tastes so comforting!
The beef sate is one of the most flavourful I've ever had, and has the nicest little kick, even though it's not spicy! It's memorable and I cant wait to go back and try more of the menu! :)
Very good place to eat and very healthy food. My favorite is Veggie Fried Rice with both Thai and Basil flavors. They make it fresh right in from of you and you can choose how spicy you want or to leave out something if you don't like it. I would compare their food to same quality as their next door neighbor but for some reason Thai Express doesn't get as many customers. Service staff seems polite and eager to serve the customers.

This place is just across the street from my house so it’s my to go place when I need Chinese food on a whim.

Staff members are always welcoming and friendly and very efficient. Service is always swift whether I am doing a pick up or when I have my food delivered.

My favourites are Ginger Beef - I always order mine with the sauce on the side. Crispy Cantonese Chow Mein and Salt and Pepper Pork Chops. I also order Satay Beef Shanghai Noodles, it’s not on the menu but somehow they will make it for me.

Highly recommended for sure!
Deep fried items were EXTREMELY OVER COOKED. Salt and pepper squid was so over cooked it was like deep fried rubber bands. Ginger beef, even the sauce covered pieces, were so dry and hard, it hurt to chew it. Just tossed it in the trash. Not worth my time even trying to argue with the restaurant. Dry ribs, house special fried rice, and Singapore noodles were pretty good. In the past was very good quality as Chinese food goes. But now not so much. There is better quality Chinese food in the area. Not our first order from here, but definitely our last.
A clean mom and pop shop with no thrills or gimmicks, what you see is what you get. Great traditional Chinese comfort food.
1 star because the food was hot and 1 star because the portion was large, but that's the only positive things I can say about this place.
I ordered a chicken chow mein add on with my order, but there were no chow mein noodles to be found in this dish. I called to explain that maybe they gave me the wrong item, because there are no noodles at all in this dish, but she tells me that there is a thick crunchy noodle in the dish (I thought they were carrots before I bit into one)
I let her know I was disappointed, but there was no offer to refund it or give me something else instead.
Also the breaded shrimp is comically bad. Way too much batter, and swimming in a pool of sweet and sour sauce.
I will not order from here again which is a shame because it's super close to my house.

We always order from here and tonight while eating the vegetable fried rice I found a rock/stone in my food I called the lady and she blamed it on where they get their frozen vegetables from! No apology nothing I am so grossed out right now. She offered a credit for next time but why would I ever order from here again?! I just can’t believe it!
