Their smashed burgers are amazing and tasty 😋😍 just beware the size of the burger is small, they are generous with the quantity of fries 🍟 which are also very tasty. But it's worth the price because it tastes amazing! Been here 3 times already, can't wait to stop by again 🍔

The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The bun was soft, the meat cooked to perfection, and the fries were perfectly crispy. A special shoutout to the service—it was fast and very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a great spot for a night out with friends or family. I'll definitely be coming back!!
I've tried Uniburger once previously at the Laval location and that was a stellar experience. Still craving a smashburger, I came to this location in St-Leonard and the experience was very different.
I know in terms of franchises, each restaurant can be different so I guess the Laval location spoiled us. The menu was more diverse in terms of custom, limited edition burgers and drinks which were not avaialble at this location. In Laval for example they had a swiss mushroom burger or onion and bacon. We really enjoyed those and did not realise it might have been unique to that store. Laval also had options for lemonade and Bubbly sparkling water, which were not available here. This location only serves canned soft drinks.
This St Leonard restaurant has picnic style communal wooden tables which are uncomfortable. The Laval location has cushioned booths. The flooring in this location is due for renovation - the tiles were peeling and broken in many areas. It looked depressing.
In terms of flavor and food itself, we got a regular cheeseburger and double cheeseburger along with fries and a poutine. The ratio for the double cheeseburger is off - there is too much meat, not enough bread or anything else. It wasn't as appetizing. The fries here were cut extremely thin. This leads to some hard or burnt bits. The poutine does not use fresh cheese, it melts very quickly and isn't squeaky.
I would definitely not come back to this location, food was average and ambiance and state of the restaurant was in bad shape.

Excellent food and customer service. The waitress was very attentive. This is a must try both the poutines and the sandwiches were great.
Delicious!! My friend told me about this spot when I wanted to get a smoked meat sandwich and holy moly this hit the spot! I especially liked that my server asked me if I wanted lean, medium, or fatty cuts of meat in my sandwich. I know fat is where the flavour is, but I like lean lol they also happily accommodated my very limited French. I absolutely recommend you try this place!

The calamari was cooked well and crispy but i found the portions relatively small. The stracciatella soup had good consistency and flavour and a good portion size. The overall vibe of the place was bad so I wouldn’t recommend eating here personally.

I liked my giant smoked meat sandwich . It’s a bit expensive these days but was is not ? 24$ ! On the good side , I was no longer hungry after eat in my plate !
First time eating here. Heard many positive reviews. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great and we won’t be back. Our usual spots for smoked meat are Schwartz and Dunns and for our taste Jarry doesn’t compare. We were seated at a booth next to a window with a sill full of dirt, dead flies and live tiny fruit flies in our faces. The place needs serious freshening up. Our waitress was a 10 star service!
Came for the deluxe pizza and wasn’t disappointed!! Great service too.

Food is DELICIOUS, FRESH, DESSERT TO DIE FOR. SMOKE MEAT ON POINT. PORTIONS PERFECT, PIZZA, Onignon soup amazing. Service fast, friendly and efficient. Forgot to add the pickles are crunchy, sweet hmmm, Coleslaw feels homemade.

Pizzeria Gusto has a good selection of pizzas, with some other Italian dishes on offer as well. The pizzas seem very authentically Italian style to me. It has a spacious interior that flows into a large terrace. You can get a nice breeze of fresh air inside, without a lot of noise coming in from the street. Service is good and the prices are fair.

Good thing I like the peppers, too... But if someone doesn't want extra consistency in their pasta dish, there will be).
Overall good. Next time, I'll try pizza and other appetizers which looked good!

What a fantastic meal. I really didn't expect such good food. The rib steak was as close to perfection I've ever had and the calamari was delicious and a generous portion.
The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I didn't know they didn't serve alcohol, you can bring your own, but it didn't dampen the experience. Highly recommended.

As an American unfamiliar with smoked meats, I decided to try Jarry Smoked Meats in Montreal, and it was a fantastic experience. The smoked meat sandwich, reminiscent of a really good corned beef sandwich, was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The service was warm and homely, giving off a classic diner vibe that made us feel right at home.One delightful surprise was that they also serve beer, which perfectly complemented the meal. Jarry Smoked Meats is a place I highly recommend, especially to fellow Americans looking to try something new and delicious in Montreal.

Couple of things threw off is waiters are all over the place so we had ask some things more than once.
Also we ordered Fillet Mignon but definitely got different cut even if waiter said that was it. I had FM multiple times before.... Otherwise steak was good, coming back for sure.

This is probably one of the only place where you cannot find a negative thing to say about.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner time and the menu changes so there is always something new to try.
The place is clean and the service is great.

Better yet, if you don't know what you want, you are certain to find something. The Hawgs burger is an easy go-to for dinner but their breakfast menu is incredible across the board.
The prices are what you would normally expect in this economy, however surprisingly of better quality than most restaurants in a similar price range.

My colleagues suggested me to try this place and I can’t thank them enough. From the outside, you would think it’s a casual restaurant attached to a butcher shop as an add on but once you get in, the atmosphere changes to a nice family style ambiance. We were a group of 8 and we went on a monday, and it was packed just to give you an idea! The staff were welcoming and friendly, they have an extensive seasonal menu and they took time to explain to us how it works for us first timers.
We started with the calamari, and they were cooked to perfection!! Not too much batter and great seasoning. I ordered the ribeye steak and it was cooked perfect medium rare. The portion was great for the price. I finish with the tartufo and it was amazing. A gelato dessert with caramel inside, yes!!

Great food and a wonderful alternative to the big chain rotisserie chicken and rib places. In fact, I enjoyed it more than the big names. Would recommend for anyone looking for what the big chains USED to be. Staff was super friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Salad bar is great too and is all you can eat with select dishes or available as an add-on. Entrés are generous, and so are the plates, so come hungry. I went on a whim and did not regret any of it. So if you're looking for a great spot for some great food and cozy atmosphere, then this is definitely a place to visit.

Amazing and fresh burgers with various classic options. Unique flavour and very tasty! The french fries are addictive too. Rather large portion of fries are always served. Reasonably priced and one can dine in or take away.
Five of us went there for dinner last night. Their smoked meat was absolutely spectacular. Highly recommend it. The hamburger was terrific as well. The pizza was good, but not quite as good as I had hoped. The rest (we also got poutine, Caesar salad, and butterfly shrimp) were just average. Then we tried 3 of their desserts: strawberry cheesecake (terrific), caramel carrot cheesecake (good), and sugar pie (stale and not good at all). Good service overall, they were very accommodating for our large group.
The food here is always amazing! We go a lot of weekends for take out and the service is usually quick fast and the food is always steaming hot. However this past weekend we got a girl who was slower than slow. I have never seen someone so slow in food service. It shouldn't have taken the half hour it took us to get our food for the amount of food that we got. Every single item we ordered we had to repeat three or four times. We wanted everything warmed up and she kept giving it to us cold. It was excruciatingly painful to try and order things with this girl.
This place went from a tiny lunch spot a huge sit down restaurant that's always packed. If you were wondering where locals go for Italian food this is it.

My go to place in the east end of Montreal. Tasty meals at a reasonable price . Good sized portions and the place is clean

My favorite in the area. Affordably priced, extensive variety in the menu with a combination of Italian, Greek and rotisserie food type. Also, very well garnished salad bar.

Too many people hanging around the counter, no indication of where to go or order, sat down on the terrasse and waited 20 minutes with no waiter, had to go order at the counter but very confusing of where to go. Makes you feel your not from around there, all the other patrons we’re talking to the baristas like they were friends for a long time. Have been there before and it was much better, than now.

Might look a little boring or sad but let's be honest covid did a number on small businesses so we have to give them the chance to prove themselves and yoooo were my father and I so glad we did. The food was delicious, they gave us some free fresh and soft bread and even asked us if we wanted some free tea and the person serving us was really nice 🥰 we'll definitely go there another time 🥰

Normally, the experience here is ok. Not sure what happened this time around. Sat on terrace on a Monday afternoon. Barely any service, waitress did not come to ask about our food (my Benedict eggs were horrible), if we were missing anything (yes, ketchup and water, went to get both inside, as never found the waitress).
Lunch and supper meals are better. The breakfast meal gave me indigestion. ☹️

Best Turkish spot I’ve tried so far in Montreal. Food was super tasty and service was friendly and accommodating. Food came fast and everything was on point. Would recommend and will come back.

I decided to give this place a try. It was a delivery so can't really comment about the service . It was alright for the price ,the fries were a bit cold when it arrived ,I asked for a medium cut for the smoke meat and found it dry a bit. Overall it's a good value for the price but not sure if I'll give it a try again.

You can’t go wrong with a good cafe creama, panino and fries at Ciociaros. Definitely worth the visit.
Restaurant should update the menu on online. It is kind of a scam. The price in the store is way too high what we can see on online. I went to take out food from there based on the menu and price from online. I was shoked when I saw the price at the store. I still bought it since I did not had enough time to go to another restaurant. The price is too high for the food I received. Definitely it was my last visit there. They attract people with an older version of menu which seems an scam. I don’t recommend this place.

I had a good time with my family , you can have a big table. We was close to 15 people around the table. We ate really well we had a really good server. Food was really good and fresh. I liked what I took. I took the cheesy bread and the salmon with rice and fried potato it was really good. I give a seven out of 10 once again the server was really nice. He gives us a really good service answered All of our need it was for my grandmothers birthday. He was thoughtful he brought us a piece of cake for her and sing happy birthday with us recommend this place for big groups
I love the place, and it's filled with memories, character and simple pleasures as a well done Lester's deli smoked meat gets turned into a nice and tasty sandwich. The desserts are in house made and absolutely fantastic. Well worth the visit and drive.
Cozy environment and friendly staff. There are lots of different meal options to choose from. The waitress serving us was very friendly and attentive. She brought us English menus to order from and ensured to answer any questions we had about the meal options. The salad bar with a soup and fruit station was a great touch to keep you busy while waiting for your food. Overall tasty and nicely presented meals!

Finished with the Tagliatelle Ai Porcini and it was delicious! My brother opted for the Pepperoni Pizza deluxe, and let me tell you....I had to snatch a piece of it! Ingredients tasted fresh and everything was flavorful! Definitely recommend even through delivery!
This restaurant offers food from the famous Turkish cuisine in the Middle East. In general, the food is very good, the meal is large, and the service is good. I think if he cut the shawarma thinly, it would be more delicious. Lahmajine was excellent, but 12 dollars is a little expensive for one thin slice. The fresh bread is very special, worth trying.

A vast menu Deli and one of the last places still open 24 hours to satisfy that anytime craving and nearly angthhbge you can think of.

Im Turkish, we ordered sucuk pide and it took me back home, it was amazing, their lentil soup is a must try, it reminded me of my mom’s, thank you for making an international student happy. But wow it was expensive
Kebab was very good in terms of taste and value of money. However, vegetarian pizza was very bad in terms of taste it is also not well cooked and expensive.

$30 for a couple of sardines and 9alb louz no drink , in Jean talon is expensive, I could have had more food in DT with that amount

Seems this location, near Langelier street, no longer serves breakfast.
Still, our waitress was friendly and helpful. Lunch was still good tasting, serving size was quite big and the prices were still affordable.

This place is excellent food. The only thing I don't like the food come out very slow and a little bit pricy

Not impressed. The Ghozlem looked like a calzone, too much bulgur, salad with no turkish taste (some random ranch dressing), too salty and fat... Disappinted at this turkish restaurant. One positive thing, staff very nice and friendly.
1-star from a loyal customer . Why? A Poutine made twice without sauce .. a mistake on the initial but being overcharged unless I didn’t notice myself… confusion on prices menu on the website vs on site (difference of +75%… )… I am sorry but you deserve this 1-star review (photo of the poutine without sauce..)
Great place for a meal. I had the Sultan plate, I always get the Sultan plate, it's a massive plate with lots of deliciously prepared meats. I can't get enough of it. It's a family friendly restaurant, clean, professional and courteous staff. I find it reasonably priced, not cheap but definitely not overpriced. You'll be seeing me there again, without a doubt.
We have been there a lot and the food is always good, never disappointed. However, not all waiters are good and it seems to be a pattern once the restaurant half full or more the service goes down.

Bad service from the responsible person to the waiters and the borghol was not cooked at all, when we asked to change it they give it back and they said eat the meat and we will get you another borghol after 10 min, the same borghol

The food is beyond delicious and one of the best Turkish restaurants ever in Montreal :) Gozleme is a great appetizer and the restaurant has very big proportions for plates including Turkish bread. My personal favorite is the Kebab Agneau and it comes with the best salad ever. Definitely try the Baklava for dessert as it tastes like heaven. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone

I waited for an hour for my food, I didn’t even get my entree in plus everyone else got there food an hour before me.and my friend has a whole in her pickle

3.5* ...Plenty of screens... actually there is screens everywhere. The place is fairly big. Good for big events. However the food is barely ok.. and not enough vegetarian options!

Very good clean food. Presentation is very good . Tasty and the wait staff is very nice .Go early. The place packs up fast. They have 2 locations. I highly recommend to go there . The lamb yero is. So good

Probably one of the cities best “Bring Your Own Wine” places in the city. You can’t go wrong with the amazing Rib Steak; for just 35$ it’s the most bang for your buck. The funny thing is that a place named Grotte Des Fromages don’t offer Blue Cheese on your steak.
You can stay away from the Desserts; put that money into an appetizer or a bomb ass bottle of wine instead.
