A bit pricey--$30/person, but everything was great. All you can eat, and ordering is just marking a menu--easy, means I left the place happy and STUFFED! The appetizers are tiny and delightful and the sushi rolls are as good as any I've had before. The dining room is a bit small, so you may wait for a table or booth. The place looks a bit cheap, but it was clean and our waiter was super nice.

I wish the menu had pictures, but that text- only aspect also meant we just picked things and tried them out--FUN!! I would totally come back again!
Thought it would have been a bit better, I ordered the Mardi Gras plate, and it was a bit dry . Needed a bit more sause . Also, why does the restaurant charge a separate food tax and a alcohol tax and gratuity? That doesn't make me want to go back . I was with a party of 25 people. The service was just average , and they were not too polite. Maybe give your customers choice to what to tip. I ate solo, and my bill was 51.39 . It asked for 8 dollar tip . I left 10 . But when you take that away from customers, most don't like it. Pappadeuex's is much better, in my opinion.

We went to Chart House for a birthday celebration in our first visit to the Tower of the Americas. Overall, we had a wonderful time there, enjoying the panoramic view and the food. The waitress was nice and courteous. However, not everything was what we expected. First, the prime rib we ordered was not ready to cook until 45 minutes later beginning at 4 P.M. Second, we were told later that the risotto in King salmon with risotto we ordered would be replaced by something else.

Great place to enjoy a romantic San Antonio sunset! Got lucky and got reservation for New Year’s day for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Seating provided was perfect for our toddlers and amazing 360 views. Kids salmon was a bit dry and lacked flavor and out of few meats because of holidays. My wife and enjoyed the dessert. Our server was friendly, attentive and kept us informed because it was busy.

We had the pleasure of dining at House Of Nizam last night, based on our family's recommendation, and it exceeded our expectations. From the warm greeting at the entrance to the impeccable service throughout, the staff made us feel truly valued. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional – each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors that delighted our taste buds. We're grateful for the recommendation, as this culinary gem has now become a cherished family favorite especially since it’s rare to find Hyderabadi restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a delightful dining experience who’s in the area.

We had an amazing experience. Chart House is a high end chain restaurant with a warm ambience. The revolving restaurant is located in the Tower of Americas. Our table overlooked a window that displayed a spectacular night city view. We went for Christmas Eve dinner. We started off Fleur D Lis and Amaretto Sour cocktails paired with the Brie + Fig En Croute appetizer. Since we were there on Christmas Eve we had a special holiday menu. I ordered the Truffle Crusted Sea Bass in Lobster Corn Fondue which I highly recommend and my daughter ordered the Twin Lobster Tails. Then finished our night with a hot chocolate mini lava cake. The server was very helpful and made wonderful recommendations. I highly recommend.
This place was very nice. The food was amazing. The eggplant chicken was recommended. It was very good! The calamari is a must! Lemon drops is my drink of choice, and they did not disappoint.
One of my favorite sushi spots, super cheap to feed my sushi loving child.

Servers are very attentive and friendly. I love the beautiful details that are added to the sushi platters. 10/10

Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and a great view. Food is well priced for the experience. I would definitely recommend trying to get a sunset seating. Make sure to reserve ahead of time. The hummus was kind of eh. Good, but next time I'll try something different.
Started with Calamari which was great…till it wasn’t…had hair in it. Sent that back. Ordered pork chops which were really good, but the mashed potatoes were bland. Had clam chowder which I thought was good. Overall, not horrible. Waiter was attentive. May try again.

I've been visiting San Antonio for years, but never came to know about this place.

I was the only person when I entered since it was near the closing time. Don't let empty seats fool you because the place is legit.

It's Hyderabadi Indian halal restaurant but the chef can make your food close to Pakistani style.

I had goat shami kabab and they were the best like home made

I also had acahri chicken which was great with good portion and last but not least the chai was top notch.

The service might not be as good but food, atmosphere and authenticity makes up for it.

Will definitely be back!!
This place has a very homey and cozy atmosphere! We were quickly seated and the menu was very understandable. The food was made to order and very fresh. Customer service was fantastic! They’re attentive and helpful. Would recommend if you love sushi 🍣 🍱
House of Nizam Restaurant delivers a delightful culinary journey with its rich and authentic flavors. The ambiance is regal, creating a unique dining experience. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Although the pricing leans towards the upscale side, the quality of the dishes and the cultural immersion make it a worthwhile gastronomic adventure.

The food was decent. The service was amazing. You cannot beat the view and the ambiance. The elevator ride to the top was spectacular. The floor of the restaurant rotates so every couple of minutes you get a new view of the city. The chocolate molten lava cake was a show stopper! For this experience, it's very reasonably priced.
The hubs and I had a few moments to walk the city and stumbled upon the La Villita Historic Village. It's a cute collection of shops and eateries. We didn't leave with anything but all the shop owners were cordial and open to sharing more about their art.
Good shops and restaurants, ppl there are kind and happy, I took some photos I love the aesthetic, you can see the church and riverwalk inside
Our @alphachiomegahq Alumni Chapter had our early holiday dinner tonight @bourbonstreetseafood on 1604 and Redland.

They were running short staffed with Faraz as the bartender and our server. Dad had Lemonade. Since Dad likes clam chowder, I thought to have him try the Louisiana version, and he liked it. I had a few bites, and it was smoky with bacon. I had a side salad with Ranch. Dad and I shared the Mahi Mahi New Orleans, which had some crab meat and crawfish with white wine lemon sauce. Pictured is the half portion since Faraz had them nicely split the servings.

It was a nice gathering, and some brought items to donate to The Battered Women's Shelter.
Try the Burger Rolaye with Cheese, you won't regret it. It was flavorful and very filling. The fries were also perfectly done and the pickle was also what I expected.

The server comes up to your seat so you can order and brings your food to your seat.

The seats are very comfortable and the screens are huge. Definitely a nice place to watch movies.

First time experience was great and enjoyable. Food was great, serving was good and especially the 360 view was incredible. The only challenge was we dine early afternoon and it was still summer. So when facing west it was very sunny and bright. I highly recommend people to experience this place when they are in San Antonio.
This location is a hidden gem. We watch people walk by it all the time. Do yourself a favor, and enter La Villita. Have a bite to eat at La Villita Cafe - 5 stars, the local shops are perfect to pick up gifts!

I think there have new ownership. Food is pretty good. I think the chef/owner is really nice. Food is consistently good but I feel, the atmosphere is dull and lacks any taste. Everyone looks gloomy and the place looks gloomy. I did notice, one time a chutney did taste bad. But they corrected after pointing it out.

The only reason to go here is for dessert and drinks. Although my salmon was very good, my husband's steak was mediocre at best. It was not real hot when it came out. The views are incredible!!! Also the best reason to go. Order the lava cake when they bring your meal because it takes 20-30 min to cook. I was not overly impressed with the waiter we had. We had a couple with us who had to set behind us and we had to find a waiter to take their drink order. It seemed really disorganized. But the views are worth it, just go for drinks and dessert and take it in.

We REALLY enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend the lunch menu if you're on a budget like we were - the portions were still large and delicious and fresh. Our waitress was Megan and she was great! The views are spectacular and the atmosphere can't be beat. We made some great memories up there today!
Finally made it out to the Alamo Drafthouse in Stone Oak to see the 80's horror classic The Shining. The theater might be one of my favorites now. The recliners are super comfortable and the service was on point. Adults seem to be the target market of this theater which is an absolute plus. I'll definitely be returning soon.

Came in to try indian food for the first time.and I must admit it hit the spot.i ate something called dosa...and man it was great will visit again when I come back here
I really like this movie theater. The food is good, reasonable prices and very well thought out environment. The reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the service. Although is a very pleasing feature to have someone waiter you as you are seated by a very energetic, enthusiastic young person...,. they took too long to fulfill my order and a pretty basic order (two drinks and popcorn).
Went to see "A Clockwork Orange". I enjoy watching the classics on the big screen with surround sound, reclining seats, food and drink.

My biggest complaint are the prices being way high for food and drinks. I would like to see them a little lower.

I would also like to see more classics being shown.

The employees are always nice and attentive. I have no complaints where they are concerned.

Overall, I definitely enjoy Alamo Drafthouse. I am glad that it exists because it makes everyday life a little more tolerable.
On our last night in San Antonio, we found this place! It was great. They are super busy, and rightly so. When we found out there was a 45 min wait we got our food to go. It took about 20 mins for it to be made. Highly recommend this place for sushi and hibachi.
Disappointed as many of the shops aren't open-to bad as it's a cute area. Maybe time of the year, but we were there mid September and no one was there day or evening.

Spice Grill and Bar is a culinary masterpiece! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is a fusion of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. Their cocktails are creative and delicious. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat lover, there's something for everyone. The attention to detail in presentation and taste is commendable. Don't forget to try their signature dishes; they are a burst of flavor. Spice Grill and Bar is a top-notch dining destination that promises a memorable experience.
Definitely my favorite spot for all you can eat sushi! Comparable to sushi I've eating in South Korea!
Lately though, I feel like the taste of items have changed and portions smaller, yet the price has gone up.
It can be difficult to get a table. The establishment is quite small and you may get put on a waiting list. There are a few stores in the plaza you could check out- stickers n stars or dollar tree are close to help time pass by while you wait. They call when .your table is ready. The 2 person tables are extremely small and it is hard to fit all of your food items on the table at once.
This location does not serve alcohol, but the Schertz location does and is much bigger.
Servers aren't always attentive.
There are plenty of outlets to charge your phone, just bring your charger. (Pics are just some I've taken over time and not necessarily anything recent)
I was expecting a unique and relaxing experience, but did not like the interruption of a server walking around during the movie, and the fact that they have bright lights on under all of the immovable tables that cannot be turned off during the movie. The popcorn was good, but so much butter was added that it solidified in clumps at the bottom. My husband and I both thought the seats were uncomfortable. The server was good, it was cool in the theater, and it was clean. Even with it's redeeming qualities, I will not be returning. And to add a little side note, I was sent a survey, and decided to fill it out. I was sent a response from the theater, but it obviously wasn't a response for me because it said I complained about the price, which I don't have an issue with, so I do that think that customers are of much importance to them.

So for people knowledge who order bhature chana here . Its not the one we get generally in indian restaurants with everything in one plate chatni , salad, curd and chana. They give chana in bowl and one bhatura. U can ask onions for separate but its not the one you might be thinking. Daal was not so good. But staff was very nice for sure . Garlic naan and chana was tasty.

The experience I had at Spice Grill and Bar was unfortunately disappointing. While I had high hopes based on the restaurant's reputation the overall dining experience fell short.

First of all the service was slow and inattentive. Despite being one of the few customers in the restaurant the waitstaff seemed disinterested and unresponsive. It took an excessively long time to get our drinks and when we finally placed our food order it took even longer for the dishes to arrive at our table.

When the food did arrive it was mediocre at best. The flavors were bland and lacked the aromatic spices that the restaurant's name would suggest. I ordered a curry dish hoping for a rich and flavorful curry sauce but instead I was met with a watery and under-seasoned sauce that left much to be desired. The portion sizes were also disappointingly small especially considering the prices.

The ambiance of the restaurant was lackluster as well. The interior decor felt outdated and worn out which didn't help to enhance the dining experience. The lighting was dim and the overall atmosphere felt dull and uninspiring.

For the prices charged at Spice Grill and Bar I expected a much higher level of quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately that was not the case. Overall I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
Fried Catfish, red beans & rice, phenomenal! The peach cobbler here is the best peach cobbler I have ever had in my life! I was shocked! Better than my grandmothers! The sweet potato was great as well! Good Swamp water too! Atmosphere could use some work! Momma Harper is a delight!

The food tastes good and it’s convenient if you live close by, but keep in mind if you pay for the tiki chicken masala you will basically just be paying for a bunch of sauce.
Had so much fun at the Barbie Brunch showing! Food was delicious, although the portaion was tiny. (I had the french toast and it was only one triangle.) Friendly staff, clean theater.

Service is just suckss…. Whatever I asked server said I don’t know let me check 😂he went 4-5times to kitchen just to clear doubt… important thing when I’m not done with my order how can you took menu and run away from my table????? Like seriously?? You should feel happy when customers are coming for dine in,don’t serve foods with angry face plz🙂Lots of things was out of stock 🙂 ordered fried rice not chili powder rice chef….
As out of towners- this was our first time visiting Ma Harper's. The seating staff was so friendly and inviting. However, We waited 40 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. We waited another hour or so for a bowl of gumbo and a fish plate. What was most upsetting- a family (not of my same ethnicity) arrived and sat behind us. Within minutes they received their salads and plates which were similar to ours. I'm not saying this was racism but it definitely was upsetting to see the difference in customer service provided to both families. The fish was nothing short of amazing and the Gumbo was great too.. The rice could use a bit more flavor also. But due to this bad experience, we will not be visiting again.

This place is sooo good! If you ever need to clear your sinuses, their spicy plates can help with that lol..I love how fresh their meals always are, they never leave me feeling bloated or sluggish after eating. Portions are great, I can make 2 meals out of one. The flavor is top tear, packs a punch! I’ve never been disappointed when my family and I visit. Yummy assortment of drinks that are unique. Clean place, staff is nice but you may wait a bit for food depending on the line. Great place overall!

Wow, been meaning to try their lunch buffet for a while now, wish I had made it sooner. I really liked the mains they had: the paneer, and a dish similar to bahari beef ( but presumably goat), and tandoori chicken were among my favorites, but it was all good.
It is a little skimpy on appetizer, but they had samosa and another fried veggie.
Worth the try.
This place is amazing. The price for all you can eat is worth every penny especially if you love sushi!!! Everything was amazing. We got Appetizers and they were amazing!!! The sushi was the best we had so far!!!! We loved the sauce that is on the hibachi!! Once you tast that sauce you won't want to stop!!! The customer service was great also. Our waiter was very patient with us while explaining how to order! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area!!! Sorry I didn't take more pictures the food was amazing and we were hungry!!!
All you can eat sushi and hibachi. The service was great and the food was good for an all you can eat restaurant. The restaurant was busy when we visited but efficient and quick. We were mindful not to over order as charges can be added for ordering large amounts of food and not eating it.

Wonderful food, lots of food, very fragrant, Perfect spice, could easily feed a small family with getting only three items. Couldn't even finish from how filling. Definitely get this if you're thinking of some indian food. Absolutely delicious
Small and quaint cluster of shops. Some are pretty unique and make their products on site. I found a couple of good bargains and an awesome margarita place!
I came here for dinner while my family from out of town visited. We ordered trio oysters and calamari to start which were amazing. I also had a cup of Louisiana Clam Chowder...that had a lot of clam! Our group ordered Mississippi Catfish, Red Fish Diablo, Mahi Mahi New Orleans, Shrimp Brochette. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The seafood was very fresh and had so much flavor. Everything on the menu did not disappoint. Service was great.

The food here was pretty good, The atmosphere is mediocre at best. The ac is not running and they served us warm water in plastic bottles. We ate the mixed veg pakoras which are delicious, the tikka masala with shrimp which was good but felt skimped on the shrimp, the chicken Manchurian which was ok, and the bullet naan which was good but too many peppers, go for the garlic naan. Over all we probably won’t be back especially with no ac and serving warm water. The staff kinda ignores you too, we sat for like 10 minutes waiting to get the check and another 10 for them to pick it up even though we were clearly ready to go and they weren’t busy at all.

A decent location and atmosphere. Foods were way too spicy. I like spicy food but the dishes we ordered with medium heat were too spicy that we barely ate. You might want to consider no heat or mild heat. The yogurt and spice sauce was runny and had an off taste.
We had a large party so they immediately sat us together in a semi private room. Service and flavor was excellent. $18 with gratuity for very good quality. I will definitely be back.

This is what you get when you pay $35 (more than an actual Cajun boil place):
Cold and bad tasting food. I don’t know if the other reviews were paid reviews but I can assure you this is definitely a 0 star place. It’s unfortunate because I was craving Cajun boil. You live and you learn. We won’t be back. It astonishes me how people setup a business and have the audacity to slap a price on a product that is horrid. Save your money and go to an actual boil place. We were served by the owner, who apparently takes pride in serving this low-quality “food.” The cherry on the top was his wife smoking a vape pen inside the food truck. Overall, we just paid to throw everything away. If you also want to throw your money away, make yourself towards this food truck.
Fake 5-star reviews. For sure, of my top 3 worst experiences with Indian food. This is not Indian food 😑. Zero spices were used, and cheaply made food. Only tasty thing there was mango pickle that too was bought from the market. Even the buffet dish we are was horrible. Again worst experience ever. Please do not go here or you will feel disappointed and like.....I will let you complete the statement.
This is the most authentic in delicious Indian food I've had in a very long time, like the briyani my friend's wife made us. The goat was very moist, fell off the bone, and the rice was cooked perfectly. Everything was spiced to perfection. Wajid, the owner, is a very friendly host and welcomed us with warmth. I highly recommend this authentic Indian restaurant.
We were craving Indian food. We saw this place has high ratings. One thing we were wary of was the spice level of the food. To our surprise, the spice level of most of the food is pretty minimal. Ironically, my most favorite dish is the "beef" meatballs. We were surprised to see a beef dish. Another highlight is the fresh Naan bread. We also liked the samosa. The service was good and prompt. We will be back.
La Villita is the place to step back into history while checking out artisan boutiques and some fine dining and drinks. Located on the Riverwalk beside the legendary Palacio Del Rio.
Ma Harper's is a family friendly restaurant with fantastic Creole cooking. Gumbo was amazing. Red beans and rice and boudin was on par with some of the best from New Orleans
This is an outstanding Indian food restaurant that offers a memorable buffet experience. The servers provide exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. The food is delicious, with authentic flavors and a wide range of options .Overall, this is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy excellent Indian cuisine in a welcoming and inviting setting.
This is a gem! The shrimp po boy was delicious (including the bread!). Right amount of batter on the shrimp too. For 10 bucks? That's unheard of. Oh and get yourself extra fried chips. Nice and accommodating staff too, which doesn't hurt. Didn't expect a bit of New Orleans in San Antonio. Super nice surprise.
First time to have an Indian meal. Food was very well seasoned and tasted great. Portions were well-sized. Even our friends young boys enjoyed the meals as well. Highly recommended!

This small theater chain is unique! It has a bar/restaurant as you enter and there are six small theaters with fabulous recliners and personal tables. Wait staff come to you to take your food orders and deliver your food. Portions are excellent!

People are NOT allowed to use cell phones AT ALL and if found doing so you can be asked to leave. I like it!
Located on the southern bank of the famed San Antonio River Walk, La Villita now occupies one artsy square block in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Fantastic Food!!! Red beans and rice, cornbread and bread pudding, Yum! You must come and enjoy the food and the staff, they are amazing and very friendly!!
Diners, Drive Ins and Dives recommend it. So glad we came!!
Went to visit my granny this weekend. This was my first time in San Antonio, Texas. I heard Ma Harper’s had great food so I had to stop by. I got the fried fish and shrimp with red beans and rice and gumbo with cornbread. Everything was amazing, especially the gumbo. My granny is 95 and I found out her and Ms Harper are friends. I can’t wait to come back and visit. I’ll def make sure I order a gumbo to go!!!!!

We enjoyed our meals and the flavors were very enjoyable. The only downside is that they're located in a very busy area and parking can be a challenge (Trader Joe's is right next door), but you can do some shopping and get a great meal on your outing. We agreed that the Tikka Masala was the winner over the Coconut Curry. The chicken pakoras and samosas were great appetizers (if you want Naan you will have to pay for it). They also have a nice selection of soda, lemonade, and tea. The food comes out piping hot and service was great. We'll definitely be back.
We came here for dinner. The food was delicious and spicier than we would have liked. The sauce of the tikka masala was so good that I dipped the naan and ate it by itself. However, they didn’t have some of the items like the pomfret fish and mango lassi. The service wasn’t that great so it’s better to order takeout.
The Drafthouse is the best place to watch movies while having fun in San Antonio. This location has a tough parking situation, but that's really the only blemish. The seasonal drinks and food are fun, the rotating special features are awesome throw backs, and the staff is are great. Be sure to sign up for Victory Rewards to make the most of the theater experience.
I've been to several Indian buffets in San Antonio, and so far this is the best! The quality is so much better in my opinion than the rest. This is definitely my go-to from now on.
I had a stay-in date and we ordered from here—it exceeded our expectations! We got the Tandoor Palace Dinner for 2 to try a little bit of almost everything, and it was amazing. The tandoori chicken had the perfect amount of sauce (all of it did, really), and the lamb curry absolutely blew me away. I practically inhaled the samosas! This is going on the list for my go-to Indian places now. Absolutely delicious and I recommended 10/10 for taste alone.
Lobby needs some attention. Menus are simple and easy to understand. Overall convenience places and excellent foods.
Good place to eat Indian food. This restaurant is at good location and does offer buffet and menu items.

This was my 2nd or 3rd visit in 5 years and food quality is still maintained.

Nice area to stroll through. Not very big, but have some small shops and a few eateries. It also leads you to the River Walk to see the historic old theater. All the buildings are Hacienda-style which are very unique. Also, we were able find 5.00 all day parking during the weekday around La Villita areas. (The village has a entrance to the Riverwalk). 👍

The positive: super friendly and nice people who run the place. We ordered a smorgasbord and the standouts were the pakoras that were crispy and well seasoned. The naan was tender yet crisp and the added touch of sesame seeds added a great flavor. The chicken dish I ordered was kinda weirdly dyed red and was okay and so was the daal. This was really homestyle cooking.

They told me that their buffet has a great variety so that’s on the list for the future.

I am not a fan of Indian food. Entirely too hot for me, even when they try to be light on the spice. I was unable to even take more than half a bite of my meal. I had to give it to my neighbors. They loved it. I did however like the spinach pakira

Amazing Telugu place run by some sweet people. Dosas taste exactly like at home and so did the accompanying 3 chutneys and Sambar.

Must visit if you’re missing Andhra or Telangana home food.
Wajid Bhai was very awesome, even the rest of staff was kind and courteous. Very friendly atmosphere, was able to make new friends from Lahore and Hyderabad. The food quality was very nice. It’s a family owned place. The tea was next level a must try if you want to taste the real Indian chai. We ordered Hyderabadi goat biryani, Karachi chicken biryani and mix veg including other items. The food taste was okay. We also got complimentary chicken soup on our visit. Overall good value for money not sure about the buffet though.
The area tends to be busy given that it’s in the same area as Trader Joe’s.

The food and service were great. The spiciness level was accurate making the dishes enjoyable. The portion size is deceiving at first sight, but the portions were very reasonable and the food was fresh.
Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen is the #1 restaurant for anyone from Louisiana who wants a meal that tastes like back home…. Bet me!

My first time eating at this location in 8 years, and I must say that I am beyond satisfied. The shrimp and grits were packed with seasoning and it was absolutely delicious to say the least. I’m not a big fan of catfish but I ate it only because it was prepared here. I can’t wait to eat here again.

Thank you!
We found this place by accident and we will for sure go back. I loved the family atmosphere, so comfortable. They treat anyone who walks through that door like they've known you for years. Oh and the food was delicious, it tasted like we were back in Louisiana. The gumbo had just the right amount of spice and flavor. The boudin had a sweet but spicy flavor and over a bed of red beans and rice, yummmm. We will absolutely be going back to this one!
Felt so welcomed as we entered, had an old school feel, and was clean. The shrimp, catfish, and porkchop were seasoned and fried well; the boudain sausage was packed with flavor! The cornbread was soft and buttery, the swap water wasn't too sweet , and the sweet potato pie was one of the most flavorful and soft slices I've had in awhile. I expected a little more flavor from the red beans and rice and I was really looking forward to the bread pudding but it was still cooking. Will definitely be back to try the gumbo and hopefully the bread pudding.

Vada is 👌Chutneys are 👌👌. Best coffee and filter coffee in SAT.

Tried Puri as well, it’s great
Amazing service! It's been a long time since we experienced this level of service. Started with 2 small bread rolls, the appetizer: oysters on half shell- Good. Beet salad presented well, just a bit sweet. Beets were canned/jarred yet tasty. Balsamic dressing added to sweetness yet just the right amount. Combo Gumbo is delicious, must try for gumbo lovers! Flavors were well balanced with exception of the sweetness in salad. Finale: bread pudding dessert was well rounded, balanced. Just enough sweet to satisfy the dessert lovers like us. The portions were all balanced and satisfying. Overall, I'd add this to my list of dining out favorites.

After one year of the initial review posted when I went today, things had deteriorated. They gave me a Brinjal Pachadi loaded with chilli just not edible. My mouth to stomach started burning. I called and blasted them and he says that it was the leftovers from a catering for a house that wanted spicy Pachadi. Why not throw it away instead of making money by feeding other customers with leftover Brinjal Pachadi loaded with chilli and making it not edible. Service and food has gone bad to worse. AVOID at ALL COST. Visit Biryani POT and MADURAI MESS.
One year back review - Dosa and Vada was delicious served with 3 varieties of chutney and sambhar. They also had daily specials like Fish curry rice, shrimp curry rice and Chilly fish so I ordered the fish curry rice. The food presentation was good and the portion size was generous as there were 2 fish pcs and the gravy was homely. I truly enjoyed the fish curry rice after a long time. Those not familiar with eating fish with long bones should not try as you need to eat with hands to take out the fish bones since it is not a fillet. Those accustomed to eating fish curry with bones will enjoy it. It should be eaten hot hot when freshly made with white rice. The spices added to the aroma. The restaurant is neat and clean with abundant seating capacity. Highly recommend. Don’t come here!!! This place is pitiful service super slow even is not full, no flavor at all!!! I ordered a pound of shrimp and it looks like they only gave us 1/2 of pound . The corn OMG the corn!!!was cold like they just took it out from the freezer and served it!!! And when I am telling you no flavor is like HEB shrimps have more flavor like this … bad bad experience with the food and service

I ordered a passion fruit snow cone and Does this snow cone looks like the picture they post on their Instagram account??? Absolutely no!!!! And it doesn’t taste like passion fruit either

No wonder why this place is empty!!!!!! The only good thing of this place are the restrooms nothing else!

The food here was everything, so good and packed with flavor. We came at the end of a winning Saints game an hour before closing and we were still treated so great, it felt like we were at home. All the staff were friendly and we got to meet the owner. He gave us a sample of the spicy crawfish chowder and told us that his mom is the one in the back cooking all the delicious food we were eating. It definitely felt like eating a home cooked meal. We had the fried alligator, gumbo, and red beans&rice. It was all perfect. 10/10 thank you for the expirence!!

This restaurant is straight out of NOLA! My boyfriend and I moved from Louisiana a month ago and have been looking for a place just like this! Not only did the food taste like home, but it felt like home too! We got the crawfish cream pasta and the fried seafood platter with the homemade remoulade sauce. That alone was a 10/10 but then we got the snowballs. That made the experience a 20/10! Jason, the owner has the Sno-Wizard machine which is the ONLY way to make a snowball And he has pretty much any flavor you want!! As any louisianan knows, its all in the ice when it comes to a good snowball and this was perfection. He also makes his own cream! We got Nectar with condensed milk and cream and then regular strawberry (Jason already adds extra juice, so no worries there!) If you are looking for authentic New Orleans cuisine, this is it!! We will be back for Saints game day!!! #geauxcravorites

So good! I was a big fan of their truck and I'm loving their food still. The gumbo was so flavorful and the soft shell crab was great

The food is absolutely fantastic! I found Jason and his truck when I was on the search for good, authentic Louisiana boiled crawfish-no sauce or dust, just the right spice and flavor soaked into the meat. Not only is their crawfish second only to my grandpa’s, his New Orleans specialties like gumbo, red beans and rice, étouffée, snowballs, and other boiled seafood are always top notch! I can’t wait to dig in to their new, expanded menu at the new brick and mortar restaurant.
I had the catfish, and it was wonderful. My husband had the salmon that was highlighted on the board. He loved it. Our friends also enjoyed their lunch.
