I've been trying to get to see a doctor, or at least talk to one since February (it's now July) and I still haven't managed it. The seems to be no way to get sny help. The web site always leads to a dead end. Phone up or go into the surgery and you will always get the same answer - There are no appoints left. Yet if you ask the receptionist what to do, they just say try again tomorrow. And why, when I have been in to try and get an appointment do they tell me there aren't any, yet the large waiting room and patient car park are empty?. I give them the absolute minimum rating.
With so much negative media coverage of the supposidly apalling NHS, I would like to confirm that the staff at the Stenhouse Medical Centre are the most fabulous & caring people you could ever wish for. The reception go above & beyond and show genuine empathy. We are very lucky to be registered at this Practice. Thank you Stenhouse. You are very much appreciated.

Best doctor’s surgery I’ve ever had. Always able to get an appointment even if it’s over the phone. Always listen and you don’t feel pressured to hurry your appointment. Receptionists are friendly and helpful.
Having recently transferred from Highcroft (worst practice ever!) I can honestly say that Stenhouse have far exceeded my expectations of what I was hoping for in a different gps practice! Receptionists have always been friendly and helpful. Never on hold for too long. Able to book an appointment even if you do have to wait a small amount of time. Previous gps just simply said "no" without any offer of an alternative. I would like to say a personal thank you to Siobain and Fatini who I saw today. These professionals were absolutely amazing and did for me in 20 mins what my previous gps never did! Thank you for restoring my faith in the NHS that little bit. I feel like I've gone back in time to when patients were listened to and given the care and treatment that they should have! Thank you Stenhouse!
Brilliant Doctor and receptionists
Got an appointment in 10 minutes after submitting online appointment request
I really appreciate Dr C Teare ‘s exceptional care.
Excellent service 🥰
I have now been on the phone from queue position 11 now for 41 minutes and still no answer and I went all though this already today, I was told by a doctor that they would refer me to the chemist who would ring me back in 1 hour Still waiting so decided to go up without the phone call from the chemist, only to be told they have no notification and they can not deal with me anyway as I don’t meet the criteria. Then I explained what the doctors had said and the chemist told me that the doctors does not understand the rules that have to be met so back to square one still waiting on the phone and it is now 47 minutes and still in queue position 3 which I have been for the last 20 minutes go figure And they ask you not to upset people what about our frustration PLESE ANSWER THE PHONE MRS S MARRIOTT YAY POSTION 2
I have been with this doctors for many years and although I know they are under pressure they have always been kind and helpful with myself and my family. I do want to say a big thank you to Dr Carey, who has been absolutely amazing with my dad. She listened to him, never rushed him, made sure that he was seen regularly and reffered him to the right places promptly. Thank you Dr Carey for all of your help.
Literally feel disgusted with this surgery and it's reception staff especially Sasha on the phone she was nothing but ignorant and in surgery did nothing to help, they wouldn't even make an appointment for 4 weeks time which the doctor asked us to do. Absolute joke, 100% reporting these to CQC I can see why they don't have outstanding ratings and only 2.5 on Google reviews.
Update. We have contacted the surgery and put forward our concerns these have firstly been either denied or ignored. We recently tried to ask for an appointment for our 3 month old baby the receptionist told us it was online forms or nothing and just hung up, you guys need some serious retraining and some respectfull receptionists. Again I reiterate what I've said before no wonder you have terrible reviews including through CQC which is concerning.
Manager is an absolute joke 1 simple medical note had this so called "manager", behave so unprofessionally it was disgusting. This was sadly related to the colour of his skin which is appalling behaviour.
I have been with this practice for 29 years, it's a shame that their current reception staff are extremely rude, they don't answer their phones and if you want an apt they refer you to a system that does not work. Off to find a new medical practice.
I have been a patient at this practice since childhood, and I am still very satisfied as an adult. I now utilize the online services offered, which I have found to be user-friendly and more convenient than traditional phone queues. Any issues regarding prescriptions, appointments, or reviews have been promptly and efficiently addressed. Great Practice.
I was re-referred to this surgery by my endocrinologist at the end of last year after having radiotherapy.

Since then, I've had one blood test in 4 months, no rereferral letter, no information on when the next tests are supposed to be, and a dubious message from the receptionist saying 'my TSH levels aren't normal but it's not an emergency'. At 35 years of age, my quality of life is diminishing rapidly due to constant fatigue and being unable to monitor my blood properly.

I need a doctor's advice on altering my medication. I had my blood taken weeks ago, but they've only just been able to fit me in for a routine appointment. This means I'll probably be chronically exhausted for another two months. It feels like they're fine with your TSH levels being all over the place as long as you don't drop dead. I don't think they realise how horrible it feels being on the other end of it. Being offered 'one blood test every 6 months is fine' is not okay when your levels aren't stable yet.

I'm sick of trying to advocate for myself to try and feel normal again when I feel so tired. I've had to take it up with PALS.

Edit: For example, you've told me to contact someone who's away on annual leave for a week.
Further to my previous review (where I had been abit harsh), I had an appointment yesterday and was very pleased with my experience of Stenhouse. The receptionist was considerate, understanding and lsitened to all of my concerns.

Due to central government cutting the funding to the NHS since 2010 and not training and recruiting enough GPs, there has been considerable pressure on health services which is why I have struggled to get an appointment previously (supply and demand). There have been times when I've struggled to get through to the receptionist and then when I do, I have to reinforce the urgency of my issue to get me in. Stenhouse has recently put in an option to request a callback (and maintain your place in the queue) which is very helpful.

I have been a patient with stenhouse from a young age and the staff have always been helpful. One example in 2018, I had crystals going through my kidney stones and I was in severe agony. After getting an appointment the same day and a morphine injection, the GP then contacted QMC to get me an MRI scan that afternoon. That is quicker than private healthcare.

All in all, I think the GPs and the reception staff do a fantastic job, I just hope that future governments plug the funding and staff gap which patients urgently need.
Visited Sammy at stapleford today. Informative and genuine assessment for skin. Professional and friendly.
I’ve never in my life had a better GP surgery!

I’ve had to move house a lot for work, and have had experience with several GPs. This is far and away the best GP I’ve ever been to - by a long shot.

Reception are friendly and helpful, responsive over the phone and by email, and put your mind at ease brilliantly. They’ve been beyond helpful with a recent referral and any problems that’ve cropped up.

The GP I have seen - Dr Nick Silcock - has on every occasion been efficient, helpful and knowledgeable. There’s been none of the sense of rushing you out the door that I’ve felt at other GPs. I totally understand GPs are busy but it’s tricky to feel pushed out the door, and that has never happened here. I’ve never felt any judgement either, and have always felt my account of my symptoms has been taken at face value.

I’ve never struggled to get an appointment in decent time (1 week - 10 days) - even working as a teacher, which limits my flexibility with appointments.

The practice itself is clean, welcoming and spacious, and I love the announcement board which calls you. It feels so much more accessible.

I’m so glad I’ve found this GP. Thanks to the team there for the work they do.

I had a very positive experience at the surgery today being seen by Nurse Jo for a smear test. I was nervous about having this done having had bad experiences in the past I (at other GP practices) and finding it very painful.
Nurse Jo compassionately explored my concerns before the test and discussed ways she could assist the process, explaining what would happen. I greatly appreciated her taking the time. The test was administered swiftly and painlessly with her talking me through what would happen when.
I found Nurse Jo to be very professional and compassionate.
Thank you.
Rude receptionists, rude practice manager, some of the doctors just happy to give you any prescription so u go away without actually looking at the root of the problem, some google symptoms whilst you are with them. Shocking appointment booking system
They have missed my child 1 year vaccinations and tried to put a blame on us as they must have sent us a letter or text a message for updates which they didn’t.after my son had his 6 months vaccinations done we were not told anything about the next time he shouod have vaccinations and when he turned to 2 years we had to have him 4 vaccinations at once for the missed his 1 year which was very painful for him.not acceptable such treatment and being careless about my child vaccination program it was very inconvenience.
Best doctore ever. Especially Dr nick Silcock, Dr Parker and Dr jefferies. But the appointment side is very bad, u cant see the soctor on the day unless u call at 8. Plz do something about ur appointment system..
Would give it zero stars if I could. My sister rang for an appointment and they made her one for 11.15am. On attending the surgery she was told no appointment had been made for her and she can't see the doctor. I rang the surgery to query this and was told she had DNA'd the appointment as she hadn't turned up. It makes no sense that she was told there was no appointment there but now being told she had not attended. There is something wrong with this surgery, my sister has had recurrent issues for the last 3 months. They keep sending her prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy and the manager does not want to help in the slightest and takes favour of the lies the receptionists tell rather than help the patients. Getting told to ring at 8am in the morning and then still not being able to get one is ridiculous. My sister will be changing doctors as this one is useless. My sister makes appointments for her children and then gets to these appointments to be told they had been cancelled, why had they not texted her to tell her this rather than have her walk all the way up there.

This review is to thank the Receptionist at Stenhouse Medical Centre for her kind and caring response to my request to try and get both of my elderly parents an appointment to see a Doctor. My father was seen that evening and my Mother was seen the next day. It was such a relief to both of them to be seen so quickly. I appreciate that the appointment system has to follow a strict protocol but it is good to know that a sensitive approach is also applied.
Dr Tao or Dr No compassion, caring or understanding. Very dismissive. Basically did nothing for me. Haven't been to the Doc's in years and this puts you off going at all! Went to the optician (who was concerned and attentive) who have sent a letter to the practise to refer me to QMC. See what happens. Will not be seeing Dr Tao again. The staff seemed ok tho.
I transferred to this health centre many years ago following numerous issues at Hillside Health Centre. I have been happy with the service my family and I have received here.
I have never been so peeved off with a surgery before. I had an appointment and got there 6 mins early, 5 people also waiting in front. 1 person on reception trying to deal with blood test forms an booking in. She was struggling . Someone finally steps out if the bk room and ask whose got an appointment. 3 of us said yes,(2 were after my time) but am now over 10 mins late for m appointment. I get asked to rebook for afternoon ( which I couldn’t) or wait till December. When I replied that they can explain to the dr that they were saying I couldn’t have my appointment as they made me late , I was asked to wait by the nurses room. People are still being made late for their appointments as 1 person is on reception and the self check in is playing up.
Seriously thinking of changing drs
Despite the state of the current medical system put in place by the government, Wollaton park Medical Centre staff always do their absolute best every time.
I don't understand how this GP surgery has such low reviews. Since I came from Broadoak medical centre (the worst practice I've ever known), I've had no issues with obtaining my medication, nor getting an appointment.
10/10 service.
Shocking. I found it hard to fathom that the doctors at this surgery are qualified to work for the NHS. The doctors seem to care very little about the well-being of the patients - they either dismiss or ignore any symptoms presented to them. Dr Rose doesn't even bother to read the patients medical records before answering any of their concerns - he even lies to the patient to fob them off. I will be making a formal complaint to the NHS regarding this.
I've been a patient since the practice started at Assarts Farm and, over the years, i have watched it grow with the addition of Bilborough Medical Centre and watched it deteriorate as a service provider. Recently I needed an appointment to look at a irregular heartbeat and was given an appointment 5 weeks away.the next appointment for ecg and bloods was 3 weeks away and the review appointment was another 5 to 6 weeks away. So from 1st visit to just establishing what it "might' be,its 13 to 14 weeks.
To put this short and simple. Avoid at all costs, as a male I went to this Dr's about depression+ mental health was told to man up and go for a run, also went with my children told they was all fine and I was wasting time, they was in hospital that night.
Chantelle was extremely friendly and helpful this morning. An issues that has been going on for days, she got it sorted instantly asking the right questions and genuinely caring about the situation. Thank you, Chantelle for your support this morning. We need more people like you.
This medical centre is appalling. When I try to call I get to call number one and then the phone cuts me off. I have now tried 10 times to be told I’m a various number in the queue then I get cut off. This centre needs an investigation to find out what is happening as clearly the staff responsible for the running of the centre are not competent.
Getting a routine GP appointment here is always an incredibly stressful, competitive experience.
Individual staff are lovely and do their best to help, but it always feels like a race against the clock to get seen. Impossible to fit into a working life. You have to call at precisley 10:30am to get the slots to see a GP exactly 7 days later. There is not an option to book an appointment for any other time, and slots go within less than 5 minutes.
When i am at work, I have to ask my manager at 10:30am to call the GP at precisley that time, potentially spend 20 minutes in the que, to then be unlikely to get appointment - so you might have to ask again for the same thing tomorrow. If you do get an appointment, you then have to plan to not be at work in precisley 7 days time and accept any time slot that's free. No flexibility.
The online booking website is also very intense, you have to be on the system within 30 seconds of 10:30 and refresh like mad! Its an old-fashioned website and appointments dissapear online within less than 30 seconds. Unclear if the appointment you then get is over telephone or face to face. Totally biased against older people and still a very stressful experience.
I feel as though this pratice is ran like an urgent care centre but there is none of the flexibility necessary to serve working people or offer community care or continuity of care. So much routine screening must be being missed and people must be struggling in silence at home or turning to other means of support...
I've tried to raise this issue with staff on reception but I feel its not really their decision or their fault and must be rubbish for them too to deal with people complaining and the stressful enviroment. You can tell they are exasperated with being asked about it. I often feel as though I am to blame for trying to complain. But this is a serious issue and it feels exasperating and frustrating that people are being let down so badly and missing chances to have possitive experiences when asking for help. Surely there is a better way of doing things.
7-14 days to get an appointment. Each doctor releases appointments only on specific days that you can’t know as a patient thus making it impossible to book with same doctor so there is a complete lack of continuity of care. Appointments are “released” only at 1030 in the morning and only via phone so it’s literally “hunger games” by phone. I have called at 1033 to find myself number 19 in the queue, wait an hour to be told appointments had run out and to call another day. If I had been successful it would still be a week to two weeks to get an appointment. To top it off the reception stuff are rude to the extreme.

My honest belief is that their practices are endangering patients
I have the same medication on repeat every month. One certain tablets I only got half of, out of stock apparently, now after 3 weeks they are still out of stock and I have ran out. Rang the doctors to explain, said they would do a prescription for the rest to take to another pharmacy, this was 3 days ago and still waiting for prescription to be signed. It’s now Friday not gonna have enough to last me over the weekend. This surgery is absolutely shocking
Very bad service lately. Reception unable to resolve the smallest problems, no way of getting appointments by phone. If you don’t want to die please avoid
Danni( receptionist) is the most professional, ready to listen with an always a real smile. She is a true asset for Deer park. She is truly is a gem and I want to thank her for her kindness. She should be rewarded by the management.
my mother is a patient at this practice and honestly it has to be the worst Dr Surgery I’ve ever been to or heard of. If I could rate this a 0 rating I would. On around 6 occasions now I’ve had to wait with her for over 1 hour. The appointment she had today, I had to sit with her and wait for 1hr and 20 minutes before being seen. Once we had been seen finally, she was just getting fobbed off and rushed out of the room. Not acceptable and I wish I could move her to another practice close to me but she’s old and it’s just a stone throw away from her house. The receptionists aren’t very understanding either. Avoid this practice. Just have a look at the reviews, shocking.
I’ve never known a doctor’s like this, whereby you call up at 8 am each day to have to keep trying to get through, to finally get in the phone queue to wait for 45 minutes or longer to get through to reception staff only to be told there are no appointments left before they even ask you what is wrong. They then say to go to the urgent care centre which is all the way in town, or call back next week. The receptionists decide if you get an appointment or not and at times have been quite rude over the phone. Most of the time this past couple of years I’m having to go to A n E or ring 111. The actual doctors are fine when you can eventually get to see one, but even then they are different doctors each time or Locoms. The next available appointment is 5 weeks away. It is causing me so much anxiety to even try to call to get an appointment. Struggling through pain each day and can’t even get to see a GP. This is the worst Doctors I’ve ever known.
Go for asthma check up, nurse shouts me in, never checked my date of birth then talked to me about a different lisa so i had to correct her. Even the hospital ask date of birth, thinn someone needs retraining
I tried to think of something good to say, but couldn't.
This place is a joke.
How do the GP's here sleep?
And to think, salaried general practitioners (GPs) earn £62,268 to £93,965 depending on the length of service and experience. GP partners are self-employed and receive a share of profits of the business.
Reception staff here are very rude and lack any care or compassion. They need to be trained on how to deal with people upset when poorly and in need of reassurance. They treated me abruptly and curtly and did not make me feel confident about contacting them for medical care or advice.
Very hit and miss. I've been trying for three weeks to get an appointment. Despite telling the receptionists why I need an appointment, they can be quite rude. Phoned up on Monday and one told be that I should go to another practice near my university. I live down the road from this practice, which proves my point that the receptionists do not listen to you.
This practice used to be outstanding, the staff who are lovely both on reception and the health professionals. The issue at this practice is actually being able to get an appointment for anything they don't classify as urgent ENOUGH, if you fall in this category it is a struggle to get an appointment. Although other practices offer pre bookables for this type of appointment and thus avoid trapping patients in a never ending cycle of the need to ring twice daily for an appointment yet still be able to fail to secure an appointment and in my case its been two weeks and counting this practice does not yet know when they will return to such a service so for anything they classify as NOT urgent ENOUGH you can easily find yourself trapped in their system of having to ring twice daily until one day you might get lucky and might get an appointment, as with lotteries sometimes you are lucky and will in this case secure an appointment yet sometimes you aren't lucky and will in this case like me fail to secure an appointment two weeks and counting.
Never found most of the Dr's here particularly warm or friendly but that's just personal view. However, as far as my health is concerned - I have been on medication for high blood pressure for quite a few years but since 2020 (that is a period of 3 years) I have not had one appointment, request, or contact regarding my blood pressure or the fact that I have had no meds in all that time. Out of the blue, over 3 years later, I get a text message from a 3rd party requesting input of my bp readings and a survey. A few issues with that: I have told the surgery I do not want my data sharing with any third party and they have clearly ignored this; I am expected to submit my own bp reading - with what? How do they know it is accurate and been taken correctly? The race to the bottom for patients in the NHS continues a-pace.
This practice doesn’t even deserve one star. I’m trying to book an appointment for over a month now, I have big issues with my health and well being but thanks to your help my mental health is getting worst because I can get help. You calling at 8 o’clock in the morning if you lucky at 10 is your turn to ask for appointment and the answer is we don’t have anything till the end of the week try next week and when you try next week they make fool out of you. I’m completely disgusted about the service in there.

At the beginning of this year I was trying to renew prescription, I usually have an appointment once a month with my doctor due to my health condition, but this time I was trying to do it online. First Lady I’m reception told my that something was wrong and she will send it one more time so my medicine should be there tomorrow. Alright thanks, brilliant I won’t miss my next dose. Well I’m coming the next day my medicine still not there going to the reception and the other lady telling my that because I didn’t renewed my prescription for a month I need to see my gp and the first appointment that she could get me in is in a month time.
YOUR PRACTICE IS A JOKE!
Impossible to get an appointment

Getting an appointment at this place is rocket science. Agree with other assessments highlighted. How come this place is still open if it cannot staff the service? If one isn’t their own advocate, one could die just waiting on them to get back. I much rather wait OOH and ring 111 as I often get better outcomes. Receptionists are rude - wouldn’t want to give an appointment or even tell you how to get one, which is by queuing outside the surgery half an hour before it opens. Shocking
I’ve been a patient at this surgery for 3 years and I would go as far as to say this is the best doctors surgery I have ever been with (and I’ve been a patient of a few!). I’ve never really struggled to get an appt for me or my family, the doctors are all really helpful as are the reception staff. The have taken feedback from patients and made changes based on this which is really positive. Based on my experience so far, I really would recommend this surgery to anyone.
If you want treatment or diagnosis and get an appointment with Dr. Rose, don't bother. Very dismissive, after I'd been specifically instructed by an emergency GP to book an appointment and given an inhaler/steroids following an allergic reaction/asthma attack. Said he couldn't do anything if I wasn't presenting symptoms at the time of the appointment and recommended taking anti-histamines every day, which I was already taking for hayfever, for the rest of my life.

Guess I'll use my psychic powers to predict the next attack (presuming it's at a convenient time for an appointment) and book one for then.

This happened five and a half years ago, but as I decided to go to the doctor's about it recently and got a diagnosis and prescription within three weeks, thought it was pertinent to review them as I'm sure he's still there.
Had an appointment with Dr Jefferies 1 month ago. Extremely helpful, thorough and had time for you and offered to follow up to check on medication. Also appt for bloods with Chris who is always cheerful, friendly and professional. When I returned the call the receptionist I spoke to, Courtney, was really helpful and polite. Many thanks
I have been registered with this practice for over 15 years.i can not highly recommended them enough. The reception team undertake a highly demanding role very professionally and are friendly and supportive. The nurses are just so super informative and caring.i have not met the cleaners but it is obvious they do an amazing job because everything is sparkling. I have met several of the doctors and have to say every single one has listened..Overall the culture of this practice should be emulatulated in all surgeries.

Hit and miss, can't always get a physical appointment, still not running a normal practice. Some receptionists are nicer than others. Dr's themselves again hit a miss odd 1 are OK others not worth seeing. Can’t book any appointments a few days in advance. Only on the day-Helpful for some and for others like myself really unhelpful.
Generally hard to be physically seen.
Appointments can be hard to get.
Took 4 days to get my little one an appointment!
Don't always feel listened too, or issues dealt with promptly/properly.
Extremely hard to get appointments! I tried several time for my mum and for myself

Receptionists are rude and discriminate! They are not helpful at all!
Rang dead on 8am and they told me it was full up for the day, after when I spent many times as a 26th in the queue. She ask me to call back at 2pm. At 2pm the problem was the same, she could not give me any appointment, she asked me to call back next day at 8am etc... Magic, annoying circle! They are playing this with me since August. I had a blood test last August and I still don't know my result because I can not have an appointment, when I have popped in to ask them to check my result they could not find the result in the system and she asked me to call them back at 8am 🤣🤢 unbelievable!
Today I told them I leave them and I've registered to another medical center. Best decision 👍
I switched to this practice as it was close to my house and had good reviews but I could never get through to book an routine appointment. I spent hours on the phone on multiple occasions, there was no automated calling service updating you, a voicemail service or anything of the sort. I had to get my prescriptions fulfilled by ECHO in the end, which it seems required the surgery's approval, hence I haven't given them a 1 star. Luckily I have since moved house so have to switch surgery.
The doctor was very clear and concise about the issue I have. He clearly has got a lot of experience in dealing with such issues. He was quick to suggest solutions and offered a lot of advise in general. I am definitely going to visit this place again. If one is having any hair concerns, coming in for a free consultation here is bound to be a brilliant idea. Highly recommended.
The doctor there always seems to have time to listen to your problems and if he thinks that you need to see a specialist, doesn't hesitate to send you to one. All my family see him and have come to the same conclusion that he's the best GP to see.

I am writing this on behalf of my partner who is recovering from cancer but was displaying some new worrying symptoms , and was seen by an Asian lady doctor at the practice.
During the consultation the doctor seemed reluctant to become too involved with diagnosing my partner . He said that it felt as though she didn't want to against the consultant but never suggested contacting them to bring the appt forward.
She was more concerned about the large number of e- mails that she was receiving than dealing with my partner.she did however proceed to apologise for being distracted. I would have thought that her priority would have been to see and listen to the patient and not worry about the amount of e- mails she was getting. She said and did nothing to help him and dispel his fears.
My partner never goes to the surgery because he always feels that there are more worthy people who need the appointment, even though he's been seriously ill.
[This review is a 20+ year summary of my experiences with this surgery]

I am so glad that I left this Doctor's surgery. As someone who is in the field, I can tell you, it's not supposed to be this way. Firstly, it is hard to get appointments; sometimes I am given appointments almost 2 weeks away. Secondly, the doctors at this surgery all have a very dismissive attitude. It took over 5 years of appointments to be diagnosed with a minor condition. Good luck if you have anything serious. The only good Doctors are the temporary ones, which they do not keep for long.

The receptionists aren't very helpful either. I once had to wait on the line for over half an hour just so that I could make an appointment with the nurse for a blood test, as you can't book blood tests on the online appointment system.
Their service is horrendous.

Edit: I initially wrote the above review around 5 years ago. I rejoined the surgery when I returned to the city, because I was hoping they had mended their ways. (Disclaimer: Bad idea).

Anyone who thinks the staff is polite or kind, has clearly never dealt with a real professional in their life. Your standards have to be really low to think this sort of treatment is acceptable. One of the receptionists huffed and puffed at me over the phone when I rang to ask if they had any appointments available. They clearly don't like their jobs, and I can totally understand, as management just seems to be so terrible. Management is draining their staff, which is having a cumulative effect on the experience of patients.

Receptionists will put the phone down on you mid sentence, and in the 20+ years I have been with this surgery, I have never heard even a bye!

The GP partners are clearly only worried about stuffing their pockets, and not about their actual patients. As strong a word as it is, the reality is that every single individual working here, whether they are the doctors or receptionists, are completely incompetent; the GMC really needs to get on their case.

It's really quite sad knowing that they are only continuing to operate this way, because the residents of West Wollaton are desperate for appointments; with no other GP surgeries in close proximity. What a shame. Glad I've moved again.
I usually attend this practice’s other surgery (Adam House, Sandiacre) which is excellent in its own right but I didn’t expect that such a high standard there could be repeated at another surgery; I need not have been concerned. Both practices offer superlative service. Appointments are quick and easy to make and waiting rooms are clean with plenty of room to sit. Seeing the doctor at the appointed time was also impressive. I’m really not sure what more could be done to improve the service... perfection is hard to better!
I am a new patient to the surgery.

I have had a great experience from start to finish been welcomed into the surgery by Mandy the receptionist who is always smiling and willing to help.

Dr Ali is a fantastic knowledgeable GP who I would completely trust with my life and I appreciate his devotion to his patients.

The GP surgery itself is well presented, very clean and makes you feel at ease when you visit

Thank you all so much!

The standards and experience of patients,at both surgeriesa, is always judged as being high from the patient surveys we carry out After my last visit I rated my experience as five star in all aspects of my treatments However, I have just read a one star review from somebody attending a hair clinic at Hillside run by a company who used to lease part of the building. This company had nothing to do with the Hillside NHS surgery and the service offered to NHS patientsr from the doctors and other staff. The review is listed under Hillside Medical Centre but does not apply to the NHS Patients ‘ provision at Hillside.
