$90 for walk in, $120 for yearly membership fee and they did not tell you the membership fee before I booked the appointment and only informed me when I returned the second day. If you are sick, call the ambulance. This medical denies the right of Australian citizens seeking medical care when they are a bulked bill clinic and charge yearly membership for seeing a doctor. Since when a medical centre becomes a gym that requires patients to be a member?

The customer service staff is horrendous. I Called before the appointment to confirm what I’d be charged. Was quoted a certain amount by someone on the phone. Who was already being very rude and inconvenienced about basic questions. Then showed up after travelling and taking time off work only to find out they were going to be charging me twice of that instead. They made me pay in advance for the appointment. And then when I asked for a refund they didn’t even give me the full money back. For an Appointment I didn’t even take. What a waste of time, money and effort.

I went to this clinic while on vacation from the U.S. following a recommendation from a local friend. I was seen by Dr. Thelen. He was very kind, compassionate, thorough, and took the time to explain everything to me. Luckily, he detected a potentially dangerous issue and arranged prompt treatment.
I'm very grateful it was his office I went to. He and his wonderful team took great care of me!

Dr. Indira saved my life!! I am so grateful. She is so kind, caring, and very experienced, and very straightforward brutally honest when she disagrees with some stupid medical/health decisions ive made, which was necessary and I appreciate a lot. She also helped me all throughout my series of unfortunate journeys. Ive been to more than 30 GPs in so many places in Sydney and I've never met any other GP better than her so far. Shes just an amazing person.

IS THE MOST PRETTY Disgusting service by doctor brown. I spoke to tonight. I have type 2 diabetes and needed my medication he was rude and wouldn’t prescribe my medication. What’s a afterhour doctor for if he can’t help with my medication. Also was very rude threatened to block me because I said I really need my diabetes medication. Horrible never use them again

It is the most terrible experience to see Dr Elsa. Liu. Please do not go to see her. I have been there for three times just want to check my period issue. At the first time, she said to me” Have you been to see a GP before? Because you seem to know nothing about the process.” How could a doctor say like that to her patients? It’s so mean. As a Chinese international student lived in both Melbourne and Sydney for a few years. I have never heard that rude and ridiculous comment before. Besides, she was so confident that the abnormal condition of my period highly likely influenced by sexual diseases and hpv infection. I had to pay $150 for only 10 mins and feel so nervous for my tests for one week.

After one week, she sent me a message on HotDoc that my results have been obtained. I had to ask for one day off to see her on Monday, after I came here again, she said the results of my STD was good, but the results for Pap smear had not finished. I had to pay another $85 for five mins. Then, why you send me message to let me come? She said next time I come to see her, I don’t need to pay again. She called me on Tuesday that she got my HPV results, and all results were good with no mention about my period issue. I came here was not just ask for a Pap smear, it’s for my period issue.

Today, I come to see her just for ask if all the results are normal, then what about my period issue? She said the last $85 payment was just for hpv results, I have to pay $85 again for the explanation for my period. So, I came here for three time and spend over $200 was just for nothing? No medicine suggested, no other useful or helpful suggestions.

For now, I even suspect do I need to do another hpv test because of her unprofessional treatment.
Every time, I have to wait for 30 minutes to see her and get nothing useful. As a Chinese, she cannot even speak my name correctly, never feel disrespected like this. Cannot believe why this kind of GP who had earned lots of bad reviews could still be hired in this place.

Ps. After I send this, she call me and ask why I leave at 2:20pm. seriously? I make an appointment at 12:20pm, I wait until 1pm. Why I should always been there to wait you are free. Then, what’s the meaning of making appointment.
She pretended I just wanted to do hpv test at first. However, I said clearly about my period length, condition and last period time. If she forgot my situation, it was her problem, as a doctor, you should be familiar with your patient’s situation and problems. She also stressed No GP will solve all your problems once. I can accept Some tests needed to be done and charged to help GP understand patients’ situations. However, it doesn’t mean GP could charge patient every time for no solution to one problem. For my hpv results, I want to know the types of other hpv exclude 16/18. She told me it was my homework to google it. Why not directly say that check all my potential disease from google? It was so disappointed.
I also talked to reception, after see the doctor, if there is a need for other tests or treatment, I will pay for that. It’s not the money thing. I have already paid $200, if it was helpful, I will not refuse to pay for next sections. The point was nothing helpful happened. Who should be responsible for my time?

One star is only for the patient reception.

Been my family clinic for 5 years now. The doctors are great and professional and caring, and appointment times are convenient with hotdoc app and punctual. I have been to many other GPs previously but even when i moved away from the CBD I still only go here. Usual illnesses, unusual illnesses, pregnancy, mental health, the team of doctors and nurses here have been amazingly accurate and helpful, and very friendly and caring

As a patient, my experience at World Square medical centre has always been efficient and pleasant. The receptionists work hard, and all the doctors are knowledgeable and caring. I don't understand the hate comments here, totally unnecessary. Overall, the team here has been so good. Definitely recommend!

I have had regular skin cancer checks & treatments performed by Dr. Christoph Thelan at CBD for over ten years and have been super impressed with his knowledge, his care and the outstanding staff which he has around him.

CBD is more than 'just a clinic' by the way they professionally support their clients. For me as a client who is prone to skin cancer and lives interstate, being able to easily communicate with the nurses & admin staff, when I have had concerns, has been very effective & reassuring.

Recently Dr, Hugo Reyes Castilo performed an extensive surgery for me. My local GP was absolutely amazed by the results which he has achieved. Dr. Hugo & his nurse were outstanding.

I must say, Dr. Elsu Liu was the worst GP I've ever encountered! To the girls from China, she embodies the worst stereotypes of a female gynecologist! Do not choose her! She completely lacks empathy. I went there for my first gynecological check-up, something I had mentally prepared for a long time, and was genuinely nervous about. I was hoping for a friendly doctor to make my first experience less awful, choosing this GP because there was no language barrier and some reviews on Little Red Book led me to her. However, my humble demeanor seemed to signal to her that I was clueless, treating me like an idiot! During the examination, she failed to explain the procedure clearly, leading me to place the sample in the wrong container. She blamed me terribly and kept rushing to finish the consultation. I arrived on time and even waited nearly 20 minutes past my appointment! Yet, she wanted to compress my consultation time to catch up with subsequent appointments. I completely agree with the online comments about bad experiences with this GP. If you're a girl who's never had a gynecological check-up before and are nervous about it, do not choose this doctor! She made the experience even worse. However, the receptionist was very friendly and patient, thankfully making this consultation not a total disaster.

Remember to pay $120 excluding surcharge for your first coming for any appointments that you make.

I was coming here for standard consult but it costs more than I expected. I came in time like 10 minutes before but I need to wait for an hour to see the doctor because some people coming earlier to do walk-in. What I mean is the appointment that you make online is useless or fake because when you coming you’re on the line with the people that doing walk in register. It’s totally wasting my time and money at the same time

I highly recommend CBD Skin Cancer Clinic.
I have seen Dr Iris numerous times and most recently saw Dr Hugo when Dr Iris was away. They are extremely competent and caring.
And they put me at ease straight away.
Dr Hugo did a difficult excision on me without causing any pain and with a perfect cosmetic effect. I definitely wouldn’t go anywhere else!

We visited Dr. Vincent Nguyen. He was very friendly and was willing to listen to my dad ( english is his second language). He was also very helpful and we never felt rushed.

Doesn’t get any better than this. Wonderful reception staff. Efficient friendly Doctors. No delays, perfect for when every minute counts on your lunch.

I have been seeing Dr Thelen for years and can’t recommend him more highly. His practice is fully accredited and I trust him implicitly. He’s done many removals for me and picked up problems I’d never have noticed myself. He is warm, skilled and empathetic. The reception staff are equally friendly and super efficient, always checking with me about wound care etc and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr.Katherine Cheung for a year since my previous GP retired..I couldn't be happier with the experience as Dr. Cheung has consistently demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism. I feel that Dr. Cheung genuinely cares about her patients and ensures their needs are met. I highly recommend Dr.Cheung to anyone in need of her service.

I always have a very great experience at my health facility. The receptionists and GPs are very kind and effective. However, at this time, I had experienced a very comforting and thoughtful experience with Dr. Aninda Antar. I felt heard and understood. That was important in a delicate moment.

Recently, I had my USA visa medical at this clinic and I had a very bad experience from receptionist to doctor. My medical was unnecessarily delayed as a result my visa process has been delayed. I have already complained about it and it is going to be nearly a month but no one has responded yet and I don’t think they are going to respond or take any action. I would not suggest this clinic for visa medical.

Dr Castillo had spotted my skin anomaly which turned out to be Melanoma. If he was not aware about it, it might be too late for me. He had been very careful and act quickly. As a result for that, I had my cancer taken out within a few weeks.

Been consulted by Dr Michael for a few times and can’t thank him enough for his warm and caring attitude. We always left the clinic feeling relieved as information was provided thoroughly, the following up is fast and efficient.

The front desk service is excellent and the best thing about this clinic is that you could always book a slot without much waiting time.

we should have read the other reviews first… same happened to us. were waiting for close to an hour and were told that there are still several patients in front of us, so eventually gave up and left without being seen by the doctor. complete waste of time and also not easy to find in the firdt place. don’t bother with them.

I didn’t feel very cared for. Before I even finished my consultation, the doctor was ready to shoo me out. He also provided no explanation for my problems, I had to constantly ask questions to understand them. The receptionist was lovely though

Wer geht schon gerne zum Arzt, insbesondere, wenn man im Urlaub auf Reisen ist? Leider war es bei mir notwendig. Die Terminvereinbarung bei Dr. Nguyen ging ganz problemlos online für wenige Stunden später. Der Termin selber ging ohne jede Wartezeit, ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Arzt. Das würde ich mir manchmal auch gerne in Deutschland wünschen.

Dr Weingarten is THE BEST! I’ve never had a doctor know so much about skin and be so thorough. She’s really instilled a level of trust I’ve not had with other doctors. I’ve had a few bad experiences previously at other clinics and that was just not the case here. I googled best skin cancer clinic in Sydney and this was the first to pop up, and I’m not surprised.

Macquarie Street Health is a fantastic practice. It's run extremely efficiently. I've never found it difficult to get an appointment, and the secretaries are brilliant -- especially Pelen, the practice manager, who was really great in helping me get a prescription in time. Dr Stephanie Arasu is also absolutely amazing. I've come to her a few times with mental health issues, and she's made me feel very safe and supported. I genuinely couldn't have got through the first tricky few months in Sydney without Macquarie Health. Thank you, team ❤!!

I’ve been coming to this practice for years, as it’s conveniently located and easy to make online bookings. They usually have plenty of availability even at short notice and you can select the GP of your choice and book directly with them online. When you arrive for your apt, wait times are minimal which is important for me as a busy professional to have that peace of mind. All of the doctors I’ve seen have always been caring, professional and knowledgeable and take the time to ask the right questions. The receptionists are always helpful and proficient. This practice also has a pathology onsite which is convenient when I’m required to have blood tests. The out of pocket expense to see the GP is around $40 but it’s great value given the well-rounded service they provide.

Excellent service. I was seen quickly at appointment time. Dr Sabapathy explained my diagnosis well and gave me options for treatment. I was able to get a Covid 19 booster with no appointment and Grace administered it so gently I almost didn’t feel it.

Simply outstanding, professional, and thorough service. Visiting from the USA I fell ill and sought medical service from Sydney Doctors. They rapidly responded and assisted with the appointment, consultation, and treatment. On my next visit to Sydney, I hope to fall ill again just so I can experience the pleasure Sydney Doctors excellent service!

My wife and I had our US immigrant visa medicals done by Medical One. We were absolutely enthralled by the cheerfulness, professionalism, and efficiency of everyone involved. From the cheerful and personal welcome given at reception, through the respectful and comforting session with the nurse, to the skilled and informative consult with Dr Rosemary Aldous, we felt we were treated like family friends rather than bothersome patients. I LOVE Sydney Doctors. Very easy to work with and Dr Carr (can't speak for the others) takes the necessary time and listens to your issues.

Having regularly used the National Horror Service in the UK, and the lunacy that is the US healthcare system (though there are certainly great doctors in both systems), I'd choose Sydney Doctors every time.

Really impressed. The reception staff, doctors and the nurse were all really professional, kind and friendly. They ensured I was comfortableat all times, the facilities were nice and clean and located so conveniently and I was so looked after, thank you!

Absolute 5-star experience. The reception team were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering my questions with kindness and anticipating other things on my mind when booking my appointment. I saw Dr Vienna Chan for a one off consultation and she was lovely, such a kind nature and very thorough. She took the time to really listen. Will be signing up as a patient hopefully.

The horrible service I ever had. I don't understand why this doctor has 3 stars. I had a plan to go to the city so I booked this doctor quickly. But my plan finished early so I called him to see if I can come now and he said ok. I went there straight away and in the end I was called much later than original booking time. Waited more than 2hours.

When he collected my blood, the blood was leaked from the needle, blood ran down on my arm.

I needed few more tests. However after the first time, the doctor didn't tell me the processes properly. I sent some emails, no reply at all, he put my name wrongly even tho I checked and edited for him, he never called me even tho I booked telephone consultation as he told me, I called them but the receptionist barely answer the calls and not professional at all. They just keep saying the doctor is busy.

I super regretted going there. After I received the blood test result, I need to change my GP asap. You can't get the result soon even tho the doctor already has.

If you're in a hurry, I highly recommend not seeing this doctor. I don't want ppl to believe good reviews. But you'll see the truth if you go there.

I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Steven Vo and I can confidently say that he is the best doctor I've ever seen. His level of compassion and attentiveness is remarkable. The team at the reception is also great, always nice and following up on stuff when you have them a call. I have never felt more comfortable and well-cared for during medical visits!

I went to Medical One for a matter regarding veterans affairs and a general health check. The receptionist were absolutely amazing, the waiting room is absolutely huge and really comfortable. It wasn't crowded like many other places and had face masks available if required.

I saw Dr. Victoria who is an absolute credit to this practice. Having to discuss some pretty heavy subjects she was absolutely empathetic and compassionate. Furthermore her professional knowledge was incredible.

Parking is available close by but a drop off out the front is available (its no parking but you can stop to help passengers out etc).

10/10 service, will be using this medical practice more.

I like Dr Fong, she is very attentive to everything what I said, asks clarifying questions. Receptionist reminded me to make a follow up appointment for my test result, and rang me on time to let me know my results. Generally, I recommand this medical centre.

I accidently walked into this practice today thinking I was at the right place (I was supposed to be one floor up). I very politely introduced myself to the receptionist and in all honesty I have never dealt with such a rude and sarcastic person in a client facing role in my life. The way she spoke to me and her bluntness and sarcasm IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS is embarrassing. Unsurprisingly, I go to look at the reviews on google and see many others have complained. I can not understand how this person has the role she does, especially after so many complaints. Thank goodness I wasn't at the right place. I certainly would never go back.

I had my medical exam for my K1 visa done at Medical One. Dr Celina Rappaport was fantastic, very friendly, professional and reassuring. The nurses and other staff were also kind and helpful. The process was very smooth and simple.

I went here for a US medical exam and had Dr Aldous who was very friendly and professional...as was Mary, the nurse on that day. Eva at the front desk was lovely too. The pathologist (forgotten her name) was nice also, so I’m a bit surprised to read some of the negative reviews here. Overall I had a great experience, now just need a visa :)

I just new here in Australia and tried going to this medical centre and I'm really amazed by the attitude and hospitality of the receptionist and nurse. Thank you all so much for assisting me. Will definitely recommend your services to my family and friends here.

I don’t understand how this man can have an Australian medical register. It’s the worst care that I’ve ever had. He has several patients scheduled at the same time, so you need to wait lo request. when finally it’s your turn, He is in a hurry and the attention lasts up to 5 minutes. He requested wrong blood tests and I had to go back to ask for a new request. Last time he ordered a bunch of unnecessary blood tests, and when I went back for the results, he just told you that everything was fine, without explaining why he had ordered them, and he don’t want to give you your blood test results, and if you are an international student and need the results to work is a nightmare. I don’t recommend this doctor. My wife and me are doctors too, and this man is the worst doctor I’ve ever known.

Dr Piliotis has been my doctor for over 5 years now. I have to travel quite a distance to see him (we've moved), and do so as he is actually listens; is very thorough and gives very practical advise when needed. Highly recommended.

I would rate this experience a 0 if I could. It was a major mistake on my part to seek treatment from this unprofessional doctor. As a pregnant woman with a skin infection and cold flu symptoms, I was hoping to receive some expert advice. I arrived at the appointment five minutes early, but the doctor failed to show up even after 40 minutes past the scheduled time. To make matters worse, there were other patients waiting as well. Totally lost word. I made an effort to respect the doctor's time by arriving early, and all I expected in return was for the so-called professional to do the same and respect his patients' time. If the doctor is unable to accommodate patients, then they shouldn't accept appointments. I wasted an hour of my time, taking time off from work for nothing. It was a completely disappointing experience.

The new offices are fabulous! Comfy seating, clean loos and there is also a water cooler. The medical centre is accessible via lift and escalators. Located across from the Light Rail stop at Wynyard, the entrance is just off George Street.
Dr Choy is wonderful and the front desk staff are gems, Vi is great!

Do love the practice. It’s handy to me and handy to the pathology. Dr Lovell is very thorough so, as a result, often runs late.

I've been going to the Centre for 25+ years. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. Dr Lurie is a fabulous Doctor, he professional, personable and he does everything—so you don't find yourself going elsewhere for bloods, skin checks etc

Fraud ; they just churn with patients and dont do any thing. They don’t advise you before making an appointment they cannot provide scripts for regular medications you are on, as they do not bring a laptop with them so they don’t get to look up your “file” and medical history….. ummm?

They are practically off duty and say “see your regular GP tomorrow , they will have a computer and can issue you scripts”. Like why did you even come here, seriously? Plus I’ve just waited 6 hours for you…

Seems money driven based on how many clients they can reach and charge to Medicare. They refuse to check your throat , don’t even show up with a stethoscope, blood pressure testing kit, or thermometer. They look like Uber eats drivers , im very confused and skeptical, with lack of equipment and general appearance ….

Middle aged woman with the glasses working at the reception / front desk on 10 May 2023 at 3:30pm was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She was blunt and when I said I no longer want to proceed with the consultation because I did not want to be out of pocket she looked back at her screen and didn’t even bother to respond to me. I felt judged because of my financial situation and felt blindsided that I had to be out of pocket because the practice doesn’t bulk bill. I had to ask if that was okay because she looked like she had an issue with it to which she bluntly replied “yep”. She doesn’t respond or look at me any further like I was beneath her, not even a good bye to close out the exchange so I just walked away after saying thanks after she doesn’t reply. I’m sure the doctors and the medical service itself are fine but if you decide to go here, make sure you avoid this woman unless you want to be talked down to.

I wrongly booked this medical centre, I thought I booked with my usual doctor, receptionist rang me to explain their fee policy and helped me to figure out my usual doctor’s medical center’s name. I decided to have a try with them. A male doctor I saw was really nice and explained a lot about my question, Will go to see doctor again and this place is much more close to my work.

I had an appointment with Dr Meredith today. She was very nice and patient with me, and answered all the questions I had. All the receptionists were nice and sweet as well. As it was my first time visiting there, they all introduced themselves, I felt very welcomed and engaged. I don’t want this clinic to be very popular as it will be my regular clinic but I totally recommend!

This was one of ,if not the worst experiences i have had when trying to get a home visit doctor. I would advise anyone not to even bother calling.Try other ones,they would have to be better than these people. And i think also to get a new receptionist.She was of no help at all. Excellent staff. Very friendly. Dr Wong is amazing. He gave me practical, real world advice. I highly recommend this medical centre. I phoned to make a booking, and found myself speaking to the doctor within 20 minutes. Very clean and comfortable offices. Handy location. Located opposite NSW Parliament House. Close to all public transport. Paid parking is available in nearby office buildings and at The Domain.

I cannot recommend this practice enough, and in fact just came back to work raving about it to my co-workers. Dr Sabapathy truly goes above and beyond any doctor I have met before, really taking the time to check your health, ensure you are okay and offer the best advice and treatment for your issues. I can see negative reviews relating to time here, but my experience has been maybe up to a 30 minute wait at the most, or no wait at all, and as previously stated, if you want someone who cares it is totally worth the wait. I would rather wait and see an amazing doctor than go to doctors that only care about billing as many patients in a day as possible and don't care about their health.

Saw Dr Surekha Desai in 2018. Needed a new letter of referral copied for a specialist which takes 5 mins at my other GPs. Billable Appointment time got dragged out for an hour by her being incredibly slow. Note, there was nothing done during the appointment other than the referral writing and printing. I didn't receive any real analysis or diagnosis, even with prompting.
She otherwise seemed like a nice person but was not impressed and won't be returning.

Edit: I did have to return, as her referrals were all booked solid indefinitely and not taking new patients. Please, call her referrals before you leave, so you don't get trapped here again.

Terrible ! It took double the time I was told for the service to call back to schedule a time. The lady who called me was harsh and rude ! She even made me cry. I understand that it is very busy but you’re dealing with sick people which means there still needs to be a layer of compassion.

So after my mother in law complained about my ‘mean lady experience’ they assured me a doctor would be out to be ASAP. Which happened ! except this was a new experience in itself. The doctor barely spoke to me , was really blunt AND EVEN THREW HER RUBBISH ON THE FLOOR OF MY LOUNGEROOM. If I wasn’t so shocked , I would have confronted her there and then. She told me that I had a minor flu and that I just needed neurofen. I ended up driving myself to the doctors the next day and sure enough, my sickness was far more severe and ended with me needing an entire week off work. Sooo a whole night of tears and rubbish , and I didn’t even benefit from it.

Highly recommend NOT using this service. Just wait and see a regular GP. Because you’ll probably end up there anyway ! Whether you’re able to drive yourself or not.

I wish I knew about this service earlier, my experience was great.

My daughter was suddenly become ill in the arvo and I was recommended to ring this number.

The doctor came with in the time frame (well actually 2 hours earlier) and prescribe her with something. Then I went to nearest late nite pharmacy and having someone and something to comfort my daughter's pain is so priceless.

I'm not sure why it has so many bad reviews, I just used this service today and couldn't be happier. They told me on the phone that they were particularly busy today, and said they'd be there anywhere between 6pm and 12am, and the doctor arrived at around 8pm. I think people treat it like it's an emergency service, when it says very clearly that its not. The doctor came and gave me a prescription for antibiotics for my chest infection, which is exactly what I wanted.

Disaster !!!!. Called at 4pm to book home visit. told doctor would visit our home to help our 8 month baby between 6 - 8pm. called at 6pm and told doctor not far away, called at 8:15 and told that the doctor would only make a phone call between 6-8pm and that they would always call before visiting??? At 9pm told that the doctor had moved onto other patients and they did not know even when a phone call could be made... visit possible though that would be after the phone call. Cancelled du to poor service. and had to head to hospital at 9:30pm.

Why is there no option to give 0 stars?

When you are in a world of pain and the call service promise for the doctor to arrive in 2-3hours, that's the only thing you can think of. It's a rescue. When you call them at 6am to find out what had happened and it turns out the doctor LIED saying he called my number several times and also came in person...that's an absolute LIE!
I thought the doctors had to swear to save lifes when getting their certification???? I ended up in emergency. Pls don't rely on these people to help you when you need it.
