A vintage place with a very good food. The price is reasonable, the food is delicious and memorable. Overall, this is a nice place to eat and enjoy Chinese Food.
I love the taste of the food. They have chinese Vegan food. The restaurant is now being renovated to be able to compete with newcomers. Definitely not for guests who are looking for an Instagramable restaurant, it only for a good food and good price and looking for a big venue.
The food is good, but not best. Pricey enough. One menu for S portion is enough up to 5 people. The place needs renovation so young people are interested to came here.

however the service is terrible. came here to celebrate birthday with 10 ppl. so we took initiative to take order by name. eg:
jedd : chicken wing 1, enoki foil 1, pork 1
zara : sausage 1, chicken 1
in the end, they mixed all the menu together. even worse, they cant differentiate which one is pork and which one is chicken. so all the order get mixed up.
i even had to see the order list by myself and check one by one because they do not bother checking it for us. they also do not know which menu already served and not.

The food taste great. Always like to eat here,but due to the limited seat, need to reserve first. The food never fails. Even kids like it.
My friend said that this is the most complete service for Chinese wedding; low prices, full package.

One of the old traditionalist Chinese restaurants in Surabaya. Went back from when I was young.
Traditional Chinese food with my favorite: fried pidgeon.
The place is extremely clean! Toilet, kitchen (which I mistakenly enter, before finding the main door) not just the dining area.

Went here with my son, no one else but us in the resto. Order 2 dishes, first dish was great, but after waiting 40 minutes, I decided to cancel the signature burung dara. So ridiculous, worst service ever

One of the better Chinese hakka restaurant in surabaya, with authentic hakka taste at a reasonable price. Food is tasty, portion is reasonable for a family of 5. Be sure to order the all menu (salt baked chicken) quarter of a size will get everyone a taste but a luxury serving will be half a chicken. Go for the pork belly mui vegetables with bun and the meat are tender and juicy. The place are quite calm with better facilities (wifi,parking, toilet,etc)Price of menu are average 100idr and reasonably price with the food quality and atmosphere.

One of the better Chinese hakka restaurant in surabaya, with authentic hakka taste at a reasonable price. Food is tasty, portion is reasonable for a family of 5. Be sure to order the ayam garam (salt baked chicken) quarter of a size will get everyone a taste but a luxury serving will be half a chicken. Go for the pork belly mui vegetables with bun and the meat are tender and juicy. We went for the soft shell crab too which is a signature dish on its own. Price wise is between 100k to 180k per dish, very reasonably price with the food quality and atmosphere.

Food is always great, up to standard. Restaurant is renovated, staff is friendly and helpful.
Ming Garden is famous as one of legit Chinese food restaurant in town since years ago. The price is on the high range but it is a restaurant so understandable. They offer various Dimsum menu. You can book VIP rooms for small group. I believe there are lots of delicious menu. But try the kolobak, it's delicious. The shrimp in the bamboo is also amazing. A bit of input: please improve the xiao long bao quality, it's not the proper xiailongbao without the broth pops, and the skin is too thick. Overall is good for sure.
The place was small and private, somehow it looks like old classic Chinese kind of resto, but the main thing here is the menu have lot of variants, the menu served on large portion since this place is famous for group meals occasions.
Even the price was bit pricey but its total worth for the taste.
Pro Tips : If you're fried rice maniac, you should try Nasi Goreng Widodo, it's kind of shrimp fried rice buat have really original signature taste.

Many event usually held here (engangement, wedding, even exhibition). The facilities give the value plus to customer from large parking, high quality menu, toilet, many hall (customer can choose it, depend on the budget) And the most important is strategic location . We come early around 10 am to get dim sum, many variant is only sold on sunday .... Taste good, not excellent. Portion is ok, price is a bit high.

Moi village is a hakka Chinese restaurant in Surabaya. Opens at 17.30 PM. I saw many people on queue to wait for it opens. Taste of foods are so nice and yummy, so I have happy tummy when I'm eating there.
Had a family lunch here, the restaurant was quite packed so the manager suggested us to take the 2nd level restaurant. The restaurant ambience is like ordinary chinese ballroom.
They served many variants for dimsum and they tasted quite delicious. Their main course were also quite delicious eventhough they were pricey for the small portion. Don’t hesitate to ask for the price of menu as they don’t have price list on their book menu especially for the beverages.

It's an okay place to enjoy Chinese food. The food tasted good enough, nothing spectacular, some too oily. They used common ingredients and old recipe for each dish. The environment felt old, furniture and decoration placement looked a little messy.

This is The Best Hakka resto in town in my opinion. For me, all the foods here are very tasty. The most I like are mapo tofu and Babi hong with mantao. The ambience are bright, clean and fresh. I celebrated my daughter's birthday here and we are satisfied with the taste of the food. This resto also has a quite big parking area. It worth to try the food here.

An old school chinese restaurant that's well known among the locals. I would absolutely recommend ordering Burung Dara, Sayur Asin Soup, and Kungpao Chicken. Good luck with the parking though, it's quite packed during lunch/dinner and there are not a lot of available parking spots.

This Chinese restaurant in Surabaya was one of the few restaurants in Indonesia that had minimal touch of seasonings. However, this could also mean that it has no commercial taste to them – which explains us being the only occupied table during Friday dinner time. My favorite menus were beef and shrimp.

Came here during breakfast-lunch time and it was fully crowded. Most of the people ordered dimsum as it was their specialty. And they also have promotion 50% discount using Credit Card BCA everyday. Good place for dimsum. Make sure you make a reservation if go on weekend. Service is good. Place is good, clean. Love the food. The have promo 50% off for bca credit card for dimsum and 30% off for a la carte. Thet also have promotion using hokky and papaya member card around 40% off. I love the platter plate combination with duck, roasted pork, sweet pork, chicken and jelly fish.

Almost all of the dished here are in a great taste. Considered as an old chinese food restaurant, people come here usually for the signature dish which is fried pigeon. It was a hit. Juicy, salty, not smelly, and no other restaurant in town can beat this.
This place is not as big as the one in Mayjend. However, it has the same crowd. It is completed with high chair but not a wifi service. The price us fair, compare to the taste and the portion.
I recommend not to eat here alone to be able to try more than one delicious dishes. For the beverages, try their es jeruk, it is so refreshing.

Sometimes its okay, sometimes its bad. Today's was extremely bad, everything we ordered were super salty. Their foods is simply salty, no umame, no kicks whatsoever that makes you want to eat more. You eat most of it because it would be a waste considering their hefty pricetag.
Not sure why their crab fried rice is being so proudly displayed and recommended when it is just a salty brown rice with some brown crab meat. This place is very popular with older generations as their taste buds are no longer as sensitive as they used to.
Their soup was salty, salt and pepper chicken was salty and horrible (they actually messed up a fried chicken), stuffed mushroom was like the cheap meatballs you tried to get from the roadside that consists mostly of tapioca flour and corn starch to make it chewy and gives the impression that it has alot of meat.
There are many other old but gold chinese restaurants in town that serves food with similar styles and pricing but does not leave you with a headache and super thirsty throat by the end of the day.

Excellent food. Tried shark's fin and nasi goreng (fried rice). Nice with the 50% discount promotion.
This place has been opened for a long time and yet still consistent in flavor. Their best dish is the fried pigeon. It is the best in town. The pigeon is crispy on the skin but the meat is moist. The fried rice is also a favorite.
The restaurant is always crowded and very busy so parking is a challenge. The service can be better especially at the cashier when the young owner is sometimes a bit moody.

An old chinese restaurant but the taste is very authentic and delicious... it is famous with its shark fin.. you can find the best shark fin food with affordable price here
When you came here is not for the hygiene nor the service good price or the convenience parking spot. With all that been said, this restaurant is actually a good chinese restaurant. The only reason I give three star is because the taste. A good traditional unique taste. That's is the only thing saving this restaurant from bankruptcy. Really, hygiene? not so good, toilet? Terrible, the services is also horrible, you can possibly get your appetizers last if you didn't request to be ready before the main course fyi, price? Too high fir place like this.
