One of my favorites for Neopolitan pizza in DC. The crust is perfectly thin and charred and the toppings are fresh. The unique combinations are to die for. Definitely recommend the zucchini and guanciale topped pizzas!
Pizza is probably the best in the navy yard area of dc. Still nothing close to nyc. I have ask for extra crispy every time. It’s great they have the option. Ordering via phone is hit or miss. Ordering via the app works most of the time. Plenty of options of crusts and flavors.

Wonderful place to get a slice of an interesting thin-crust pizza. They have nearly a dozen specialty pizzas, with slices ready to be reheated and served. My friend got the Il Capo, with discernable bits of bacon. I got the Mushroom Truffle which was delicious. The slice did come with two-plus inches of plain pizza dough with no topping, but the cracker-like portion crunched nicely with the high value Mediterranean salad (green Romaine lettuce, cucumber chunks, grape tomatoes and olive slices). On a clear cool October afternoon we sat outside and watched the nearby fountains in the park.
Recently married, my husband and I have committed to a bi-weekly date night to keep the romance alive. While we currently reside in Stafford, our hearts still yearn for the vibrant Northern Virginia and D.C. area where we spent many years, especially during our dating days.
For our inaugural post-wedding date night, we decided to venture into D.C. Our go-to spot in Alexandria, RedRocks, had lost its romantic allure due to changes in both the food and layout. Determined to recapture the magic, we embarked on a quest for a pizzeria that would offer a romantic ambiance rather than a sports bar vibe. Our search led us to Stellina Pizzeria, nestled at 399 Morse St NE, Washington, DC 20002.
As we arrived at the location, we were immediately struck by the lively, bustling atmosphere. The streets were teeming with people, all seemingly relishing their evening. Stellina had both outdoor and indoor seating options, and we opted for the cozy indoor setting. Fortunately, there was no wait, and our host promptly seated us.
Our night took a delightful turn when we were introduced to Julio, our server for the evening. Julio was not only welcoming but also a font of knowledge regarding the entire menu. His recommendations were spot on, and he didn't stop at merely suggesting dishes; he took the time to explain why he chose each particular item. He steered us towards the Cuoppo Misto as an appetizer, followed by the Picante and Napulella Pizzas.
It's no exaggeration when I say that everything Julio recommended surpassed our expectations. The crispy prawns, calamari, and potato chips were a symphony of flavors, expertly seasoned with just the right touch of saltiness. The pizzas, a delicate balance of dough and toppings, were bursting with flavor and texture, creating a culinary masterpiece.
To accompany our meal, we enjoyed drinks that were equally outstanding. I opted for the "On The Way To Rome," a blend of bourbon and raspberry puree that, in my opinion, achieved perfection in a glass. My husband chose the "Mezcalita," a drink so delightful that we couldn't resist ordering a second round.
Our evening was an unequivocal success, with every element contributing to its perfection. From the warm and generous hospitality of Julio to the masterfully prepared dishes, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We left Stellina Pizzeria with the certainty that we would return to Union Market soon, eagerly anticipating another evening like this one.

It is just okay Italian food. Pricing does not reflect the averageness of what to expect. I have only been for lunch on weekdays when it’s slow (and mostly empty) and yet the food has almost always come out somewhat … room temperature and bland. The cacio e Pepe and bolognese are not worth trying in my opinion. Ravioli and burrata get rave reviews and though I’ve never been, I hear brunch is good here (though there are probably 100s of “good for brunch” places in DC). The service is nice though. Atmosphere is nondescript. I would try another Italian place first, but it’s serviceable enough. From what I’ve seen and heard, it can be a 50/50 toss up.

I won’t be back. They added 20% gratuity to my order for fast food pizza already made. When I said no thanks, the cashier was furious, dropping the F bomb. No thanks. I went to a restaurant next door and happily paid 20% for service. I will say the waterfront is wonderful, overwhelmingly people are friendly, and most restaurants are delicious. The view is stunning.
The sign on the door states that the restaurant opens at 7am. The store manager says its opens at 730. Why not just take the old sign off the door if your hours has changed. This will stop any and all confusion but the store Manger refused to take down the 7 to 3 signs causing more confusion for paying customers
Great place!! The waitress was very attentive, friendly and funny. Good came quickly. We sat outside and it rained but we were very cozy under the awning. It was perfect to go just before our show at studio theatre.
I would have liked more toppings on the pizza, I got the mushroom special pizza and it was a bit dry for me.

Went for a quick bite after a walk on the teddy roosevelt trail! The service was fast, this setting was causal & the food was 11/10! We started with the app special, the burrata and the bruschetta and then I split the Siciliana pizza with my 2 friends. The ingredients were super fresh & super delicious! I would definitely go back!

Pleasant place to have lunch, close to the water.
There was not much fish on the menu, it was mostly Italian.
You don't have to wait long for your food. The portions were large and tasted good.
We found the staff pushy when paying. Otherwise ok service.
I would recommend it if you like to eat Italian.
Utter junk.
The service was non existent, the atmosphere the same, and the only reason we went in there was out of desperation. It did disappoint…
The food was mediocre but the service appalling, and the lady who served us had BO. It was also very overpriced and working a lot in Italy, the food had zero to do with Italian. It was deep fried junk as regards the arancini, I am sure it was frozen previously. Out eight year old who is pretty sophisticated in the best European restaurants was given water in a childproof cup. Really?
Avoid avoid avoid. It’s a cheap restaurant waiting to go out of business, and working in hospitality at a senior (continental MD) level, I do know what I’m talking about.

I made a reservation and was quickly seated. Overall the Chicken Parmesan was not good. The chicken was dried out and not tasteful. There was not enough sauce on the chicken also. The pasta that they used was okay but very thick. The stone fire pizza was delicious and perfectly cooked. Finally the tiramisu was not moist and very dry. The prices are in line with the high prices in DC. Also, parking is all paid and very expensive. I would not come here again.

Salty everything. Too salty. Feel like swallowing seawater. Even the grilled shrimp in the Caesar salad is very salty. The pizza (Napoli) looks really nice but they somehow upping the saltiness of the anchovies ? Possible? The olive is inedible - salty. And the pizza bread is also … salty.

Please don’t let the look fool you … still don’t know why the past reviews were so highly rated?!? May be the real cook is not in the kitchen today.

Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant! Was at the huge Jazz festival at The Wharf and all restaurants were packed. Decided to leave but then found this quaint, small restaurant on a side street on the way out. What a gem! Both times we’ve eaten here, we had the brick oven pizza, and it is great. We like to sit at the bar, where we can watch the pizza being made, and the other restaurant employees busily filling other orders. All of their custom pizza recipes are unique, and the pizza tastes great. Highly recommended.

This is probably the best pizza that I have tried in the U.S. so far. The dough it’s excellent and so yummy! Similar to the one that I ate in Italy. Fresh and simple ingredients. I also love the fried seafood and home made bombolini. It’s fresh and really yummy with hint of lemon. Best of the best! Squid ink pasta also tastes good with little spices in it. Service was great as well! Highly recommend to everyone 😊

This place is the perfect place for authentic Italian fare! The ingredients are high quality, the service is remarkably fast (we were served and almost finished with dinner within a half hour!), and the drinks were fantastic. I had the Norcia pizza, with added ricotta, and their red sangria! Lupo Marino made our last dinner in D.C. one to savor 🤩 Aracely was a very kind, efficient, and fantastic server!

Update: ordered tiramisu after posting this review and oh. my. god. This is the best dessert you could get here, and you can tell its made by hand. The vanilla cream has real vanilla bean in it 😭❤️

It’s okay. The Caesar salad is good with their homemade dressing. The pizza crust supposedly was neopolitan but was soft and more like a frozen crust. But, I just lived in Italy for a few years so I am super picky. Space is large. Most portions large.

In a word, it was delicious. The decoration of the interior, the attention of the waiter and the service were very good. what we ate was very delicious and it was very impressive that the owner took care of every table. I haven't tried the pizza, but especially the artichoke fries should definitely be tried. they were offering dessert to those who commented on google, but we paid the bill. Let's get it next time :)
The first time I went there the food was very good. The second time I went there the food was pure garbage. I feel like they purposely did that because I ordered for two other people and order was perfect. I guess that's their way of telling me my money is no good there, and what makes it so bad I tipped the man that took my order. I didn't check my order before I left because they did such a great job the first time around. They don't need my money anyway.

Delicious place for Napoletana pizzas with kind servers, flavorful pizza, and great wine. While it is on the pricier side since it's in Georgetown, the food is of good quality. The size of the pizza is good and one person can probably eat an entire one.

With both indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant can get really busy, but there were a lot of open seats when I went at lunchtime on a Sunday.

Note that bread and olive oil is brought out to each table.

This brunch is truly bottomless. Any time sips were taken, mimosas were refilled - it was impossible to reach an empty glass. Totally worth $20 and will now be my go to brunch spot. Could not emphasize enough how good the bottomless brunch deal is. Not to mention, the food was wonderful. Other than paying for bread, I have no complaints. 10/10 recommend!
It was pretty good!🍕

Hot fresh pizza and kind service!
Beer flights! 🍺🤩

I felt like the sauce and crust wasn’t very authentic and flavorful… so it was average tasting and I would return if family or friend wanted too!

They have more seats then expected and a bar… The restaurant def felt warm in there… I was in a summer dress almost sweating…so the kitchen oven made it less comfortable eating inside.

Stellina Pizzeria offers pizza, pasta, sandwiches, cocktails and much more. Conveniently located in the Union Market area, Stellina has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

We chose to sit outdoors and the service was very attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered the COTTO & FUNGHI pizza with wild mushrooms, mozzarella and prosciutto. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious.

My personal favorite was the CACIO & PEPE pasta. I felt like I was picked up and transported to Italy. That’s how authentic and delicious this pasta tasted. Highly recommend.

For dessert, we ordered the CANNOLI SICILIANI with ricotta, chocolate, and pistachio.

I’m kind of a picky eater, but the ricotta gnocchi was fire. I didn’t have any expectations coming into the restaurant, but it was definitely worth it. The dish only came with 8 gnocchi, but they were bigger than average. We also received a complementary appetizer alongside our food, so I had no problem getting full. Also, I recommend trying to get a seat at the booth area or the lower seats since some of the taller chairs were wobbling. The bathroom was in an unconventional area too, so it might be a little difficult to find, but thankfully there was a large sign pointing to it. Regardless, I recommend this place!

Stopped in here for lunch after an afternoon of walking around.
The location was not too busy for a walk-in without a wait.
The service was friendly and attentive. From the dining room you get a view of the pizza oven.
The draft list was extensive and had plenty of local and imported options.
We ordered the macellaio pizza, which was delicious and perfectly crispy.

Good Napoleon pizza and great atmosphere and service.

I liked the Lobster Ravioli. The house made bread with garlic olive oil was also good. The half Caesar salad was salad...but the croutons seemed house made and were good.

We were staying at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf and placed an order late night for a Diavolo pizza and Tiramisu. I ordered online without speaking to anyone and everything worked great. The pizza arrived very quickly and was still hot. The Diavolo was good but my wife said the Tiramisu tasted like something you would buy from a grocery store. With that said, I’d recommend the Neopolitan pizza but not the Tiramisu. I would order pizza from here again. The total bill was $35.20 which is really reasonable.
the food was ok tasted bland. the manger was rude. called and need a receipt for work and the manger hung up on me.

Really delicious crispy crust pizza with a bunch of different options! I am usually a plain slice girly but they’re slices looked so good. I ended up trying the chicken bacon ranch slice and the tikka masala slice. Both were amazing.

Price was worth the slice, around 5-6$ per slice. They’re good for lunch and dinner and also late night! They have late hours so stop by for a a midnight pizza slice.

Service is fast and they are accommodating. They have adequate seating inside and outdoors as well. But if you sit outdoors, beware of bugs in the summer! I had to move indoors cause there were insects since there were trees nearby.

Overall I would definitely come again!

Came here around noon on a Friday and was greeted with superb hospitality. The garlic knots were superb as an appetizer. The pizza we each got was hot and delicious. Additionally, there selection of beer and wine provided options for all. I was visiting in the area but would recommend this place for anyone looking to have a great pizza with a cool drink. Fantastic atmosphere as well.

The Brookland Grill is an absolute MUST whenever I'm in the area. I keep their menu with me. The food is always HOT, DELICIOUS, service is FAST, and the prices are reasonable! I recommend the Pecan Belgian Waffle. They have Turkey Bacon and Turkey Sausage for us non-pork eaters.
Had breakfast and it was delicious. Food cooked fresh always, just a hole in the wall spot, nothing fancy but worth it. If you have an appetite, try the 'sampler combo'. It comes with three meats, eggs and other sides. Hand packed ice creams, coffees, they cover all bases. Menu is somewhat extensive.
“Fraid” Cicchen Parmigiana
- Chicken was very tender with a light crust
- Tomato and mozzarella together complemented the eggplant well
- I added a little bit of their home made ketchup to make a little saucer. I only added a little because the ketchup has a strong vinegar base that is great for their homemade chips.
- Customer service was great even their new staff.

The food was okay. I would have rated it 3 stars, but my friends enjoyed it so I wanted to reflect that.

The ravioli was praised extensively. The pesto pasta was good but lacked a bit of salt. The Bolognese was surprisingly plain, but the homemade pasta was cooked well. The pizza was fine - good dough, but not a lot of flavor to the actual pizza. Caesar salad was as expected. The burrata (not pictured) was loved by all who tried.

I would come back one more time, but probably would give another Italian place a go first.
I came to pick a grubhub order they didn’t pack it properly as I was walking out the door a guy came across me and the food fell as he was rushing the food fell the guy kept throwing profanity saying that hold it with 2 hands I actually did hold it with two hands but the plastic shoppers were slippery with grease on the bottom.

Il Canale is a charming Italian restaurant located in the heart of Georgetown, Washington DC. I had the pleasure of trying their Margherita pizza, cannoli, and espresso, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.

The Margherita pizza was a standout dish, with a crispy thin crust, tangy tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella cheese. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the pizza was cooked to perfection in their wood-fired oven. It was a delight to savor each slice of this classic Italian pizza.

Moving on to the dessert, the cannoli was simply divine. The shell was crispy and flaky, while the creamy ricotta filling was sweet, but not too overpowering. The addition of chocolate chips and powdered sugar on top added a nice texture and a touch of sweetness.

To round off my meal, I ordered an espresso, which was strong and smooth, just as it should be. It was a perfect way to end my dining experience at Il Canale.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

Overall, I highly recommend Il Canale to anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine in Washington DC. The Margherita pizza, cannoli, and espresso were all exceptional, and the service and ambiance only added to the wonderful dining experience.

Good local place for pizza. This is the specialty higher quality type of pizza place, as opposed to the greaselord type (which is also good, just different). Crust is light, airy, and crispy while the toppings and sauce are just enough and not glarpy. Ask about their multiple pizza specials. Beer selection is pretty good, with happy hour till 6 on most weekdays.

We came as a walk in and Connor greeted us warmly and served us at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. He was prompt and informative but also when he didn’t know the answer, he checked with the chefs/bartenders to make sure he gave us the correct answer. The pizza’s were extraordinary and the ingredients and the combination of flavor was exquisite. We recommend this beautiful/romantic spot to all and will definitely back to see Connor, Nina and Von who were incredibly sweet and kind even tho it was the last seating on a Sunday night

I ended not eating there due to the lack of customer service. They had a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños on it. My 11 year old asked for a plain pepperoni pizza. Without anyone in line the manager refused to add pepperoni to the cheese or cook a new one without jalapeños. He did offer to remove jalapeños from a precooked pizza. Doubt he’s ever tasted a pizza that has something removed and believes the taste is gone.
One of my favorite breakfast spots. Incredible food and great speed and service for a very affordable price. If you're looking for a quick filling meal, try the Obama breakfast.

Went by during the dinner rush right before seeing a show at Studio Theatre. Great spot for great pizza and wine! I sat at the bar and ordered the Braised Fennel + Rosemary Pizza, the Affogato (Espresso with a small scoop of ice cream in it), and a glass of the featured wine (Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo).

All of it was delicious! The pizza was layered perfectly and paired well with the wine. A soft, doughy crust with red onions and parsley and garlic and, oh... give it a try if you go.

The Affogato was delicious, but as soon as I saw it on the menu and how small the cup was, I told the bartender (who was super friendly), "this sounds really dangerous!". No doubt you shouldn't have it regularly, as it's an espresso with an added shot of vanilla ice cream. Good for your health? Not likely. Good for your taste buds and sweet tooth? M. Hm.

Other than the food being excellent, the staff was all friendly. It was pretty packed when I went, both inside and out, so if you don't like lots of people, maybe opt for take-out (the restaurant typically opens around 5pm). Given its location and the quality of the food, it's not a surprise it's a hit.

Wine was $16. Pizza was $21. Affogato was $6. Be prepared to splurge a little bit, but it's DC and the food is worth it. Also important to note that a 20% service charge was automatically included.

Overall, 5/5 stars from me. Chef's kiss 😘👌🍕🍷☕️🍦

Really busy Italian spot in Georgetown! Great location, nice clean restaurant. Prices are what you expect in this area. I enjoyed the lobster ravioli and calamari. My parents were less impressed with the cannelloni and gnocchi dishes. The pizza here is also very good. As far as service goes, it was excellent. Our server was very attentive and quick although it was a full dining room on the weekend.

Staff are excellent & the location is tough to beat, but what matters is the pizza...

While their new pizza is better than their pizza of pre-2023, it's still just not that great compared to other options in the neighborhood. The crust is good, and the toppings are excellent but they're too spartan; without the toppings things taste a bit bland. But it feels like they're continuing to refine their recipes, so I'm hopeful things will only get better.

As of Spring 2023 the non-pizza menu is still unavailable, which is unfortunate since their hoagies used to be pretty good & pretty much the only such options in Navy Yard.
I met a friend for dinner in a trendy part of Georgetown, expecting an amazing experience. Trouble started right away when the hostess seemed to scowl at us. Once at the table, we waited about 10 minutes for our server. We ordered gnocchi and chicken cutlets with spaghetti. I ordered a Stella, which didn't come until I was halfway through my chicken cutlets. They were passable, but they seemed to be rationing the spaghetti. The gnocchi was not good. Our server, who never smiled or engaged with us, never once came back to our table. Not to refill our waters or ask how we were doing. What happened to customer service? When we asked for the check, she didn't ask how it was or if we wanted dessert. I don't blame our server because it's a reflection of management not training its employees. A fish rots from the head down. The final insult was going to the bathroom on the way out and discovering they ran out of paper towels. If this restaurant was a ship, it would be the Titanic. Folks, there are better places to go in Georgetown.

amazing brunch! the bottomless mimosas & bellinis truly were what you paid for (unlike some other “bottomless” places where you really only get one or two refills). i got the eggs florentine, which were poached to perfection. you also CANNOT skip on the bread basket if your favorite part of pizza is the crust. the little rolls are like perfect pieces of crust, complete with parmesan and red pepper flakes for dipping. would 100% come back

The food was very good. I had fried fish and my boyfriend had the wings. Great food. The neighborhood, even in the view of the police doesn't look like it's the safest.

Great spot for couple dates and family visits.
Got the classics you can’t go wrong - a margarita pizza and Fettuccine Alfredo, for someone like us who try a lot of Italian foods, we thought it was great for the asked price (average in the area) but pizza was a bit too salty we found. Sat down around 5:45pm and got our food at around 6pm, which we found was quick. Staff was very welcoming, attentive and nice. Space began to fill-up around 6:30pm as we were about to leave.

Walking distance from metro and Nat’s stadium. NY style pizza and I would recommend the pizza for local residents and visitors to the area. I’m happy they were able to remain open with the hardship businesses had to face in the past few years. Price is fair and the pizza is tasty. They also share a space you can get sushi and boba tea. Two slices of the Godfather (pepperoni, sausage and bacon - pictured). Let me know if my reviews are helpful with a thumbs up or if I can improve on my reviews. Thx, Bear

Had the beef ribs and mac and cheese. The food was delicious as hell. Excellent portions/flavor. UberEats even delivered it fast. Had to show love after reading some of the non favorable reviews.

The food is good but there's definitely major issues with the service. I ordered through Uber Eats and had to wait 2.5 hours for the food to arrive. The Uber Eats driver was incredibly nice and said that when he arrived the food hadn't even been prepared yet. Uber Eats was also very understanding and refunded me fully for the extremely long wait.

Everything was seasoned very nicely and the meat (beef ribs and oxtails) was tender, but due to extremely slow service I will not order again. If this establishment is brand new, they should be able to earn a ton of success once they work out the service issues.

All purpose who?? If we’re talking top 2 high end, chic pizza restaurants in DC.. Etto is top 2 but not 2. The prosciutto and arugula pizza is completely on another level. Crust is cooked perfectly and the freshly cut in house prosciutto melts in your mouth. And if you’re above 21 you can continue reading… great wine, great service and don’t get me started on the espresso martini. Idk what is in it that’s not in a normal one but wow.. good for you Etto. Finish it off with a tiramisu and a good nights sleep and it’s one of the best experiences of your year. Absolute shoutout to the chef and owner. 7895/10

If you are black or any race please don't patronize this place. I went here today and it was only one person working. He was taking the orders and making the food I said to my sister this place needs some help. I made a suggestion to my sister that our friend should apply here. The guy who was running the place was instantly like "I don't hire black people!" He then continued to talk bad and down about black people. My sister and I was so shocked and confused considering this is a black business, ran by a black man, in a black neighborhood. He lost and will lose a lot of money with that statement. Cause we was about to do a real big group order and if the food was good we definitely would have returned. We just ended up leaving out and ordering some where else. I wish I could have got him on record. When we first walked in it was looking a little crazy anyway cause they had things like laundry detergent, soap, deodorant etc for sale behind the counter on the shelf. We only decided to stay and give it a try because my daughter said the food was good and it's black owned. This place is so unprofessional. At first we tried to call our order in cause it was a big order but the number dont even work. Now I'm glad it didn't work. Anyway -10/10 Don't spend your money here! This place probably won't be here long.

So the items listed on the site was not what i received or as advertised. I took the food back to the establishment. Once outside remind you the name isn’t listed on the establishment, i was approached by a man rolling marijuana in front of the store. He asked if i needed help and i told him I was looking for the owner. He stated it was him. I stated my dislikes and frustrations and gave him the food back. He didn’t give me a refund and told me contact the people from slice app. They contacted him and he didn’t answer which left me without a refund. I support a black owned business every week however i would never recommend this place to a soul

They are never really consistent. Sometimes I go and the food is amazing. Other times I go and is meh. One thing I like that is new is having a sever. Before they were pushing to order from QR code with little to no interaction with staff which takes away from the dining experience. I always see the Brussel sprouts and they smelled and looked good. When I actually received them I was very underwhelmed. They were cooked perfectly on the outside. But very hard on the inside. Pizza is a hit or miss. As well as the lasagna.

I love the pizza here! Although the chanterelle pizza did not have enough mushroom flavor tonight. But the crust was perfect! I also love the veggie side dishes. The cauliflower was divine. I usually order several sides and a pizza and feel perfectly satisfied. So amazing to have this stunning pizza joint in our neighborhood.

Update: the anchovies with green sauce and soft egg is deeeeelish!

I normally give restaurants and waitresses the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was a bad night for them. We walked in here and were like this is weird we are one of the only people here. Then we were seated and it took 20 minutes for someone to talk to us, we almost thought about leaving at that point. But anyway, our server came over and we ordered drinks and she challenged my husbands ID. Which was really weird. She also walked away and then came back and was like yeah I actually can’t serve you. Anyway, he had his passport with him since we were traveling so it was fine. We brushed it off but joked about how she really didn’t like us. Then we ordered drinks at 5:40 and she was like hold on I’m gonna have to check the time you may not get happy hour. (Which ends at 6) to which I held up my phone to be helpful (it was 5:40) and I don’t think she liked that lol. Then I ordered veal piccata And it came out like this??? I’m so confused on why they added marinara sauce to a white wine butter dish. No one’s food was very good, and I really regret spending 100 there. I feel bad cause it seemed like they maybe were trying but i would not go here again.

This is a startup restaurant. The food is top quality, and unless you want something prepared a special way, all the menu items taste the same each time you taste them, which means they're trained cooks in the back. I personally would suggest that everyone try this place at least once, I guarantee that you will come back again.

Meh. Service was great, but food was just okay. Lasagna was pretty bland, and came without bread or anything, which for $25 is unacceptable. $12 salad was basically a pile of arugula. Many local Italian restaurants in my midwest hometown of 44k are far better.

First of all this place has an incredible beer menu… so far so good. Then the pizza we ordered was so good too. Very friendly staff and a quaint homey feel makes this a good stop in DC for pizza. There is also outside seating but it was way too hot. Overall I’d say this makes my list of places to eat while in DC

Staff are chill and explain things thoroughly. It took about 10 minutes to make my bacon and cheese sandwiches, and the bacon is crispy/chewy (personally I enjoy!). Paid $8 including tax and tip, so if you have $10 and want something local/have the diner experience, go here!
(Parking-wise, it's difficult, so I recommend coming here via Metro)
Ordered Italian Gourmet Deli for catering. Each person ordered their own meal, food was delivered hot-labeled- and on time.

Happy with the food selections available through EZ Cater.

I came here for a quick lunch this is near the Nationals stadium. I ordered 1 slice of Nashville hot and 1 Paneer Tikka and a fountain root beer. Employees provided great customer service. I think I got 2 slices and a drink for $12. The pizzas we excellent I’ll be coming back for sure so many other slices to try.
The food was okay, we had the DC Cheese steak combo. There was plenty of food served. I did think it was strange that refills weren't permitted, but I'm not from DC, so maybe that's normal.

One of the most happening places in Georgetown for sure. Large variety of pizzas and amazing pastas. The fettuccine Alfredo was one of the best I ever had. It has a large indoor and a limited outdoor seating. The staff is really helpful and their recommendations are genuine. The portion size is generous and filling. Will be back soon.

Very nice place with decent food and reasonable pricing. It is located in the heart of 14th street food corridor meaning that you’ll find a ton of restaurants and a youthful vibe. Went in on a Thursday evening, especially enjoyed the drinks and the pizza while pasta was tending towards average rather than tasty. Staff was incredibly kind and welcoming (although it did seem place was understaffed at this particular moment as service was slow).

Horrible food horrible people and horrible service. I ordered a cheesesteak combo. The guy that took my order understood me enough to take my money, but didn’t do what I asked, which was to toast my bread on the grill. That’s not complicated just put the bread on the grill and let it toast. They couldn’t do that. Everything was undercooked the cheesesteak, the onions, the peppers, the fries and the bread. I went back in and asked if he could make another one. He told me they don’t toast the bread, and couldn’t make another one unless I paid for it. The guy that took my order suddenly doesn’t speak english. These people and this place is trash! I’m from out of town, so no possibility of me returning. The guy was very rude and disrespectful in the way he spoke to me. It felt like it was because I’m black.
The pizza was pretty darn good! Especially with the view that came along with it. That’s a lot of bang for your buck!
They have bagels!!! The good kind that tastes of new York, not the reheated mess most places have. Their sausage, egg, and cheese uses a mild sausage with a white cheese. First bite and I'm hooked. Delish!

Straight up no frills spot but comfort breakfast food to the max! My star dock was bc I feel like they could do a little better on the coffee. Other than that the food is what you'd expect it to be.

This place is small-scale but great! Food is super yummy! Very quick service. Comes out almost just after you order it. Wait staff is great, and has great recommendations. Pizza is super thin and crispy! Cauliflower pizza is definitely a new favorite. Every bite is heavenly! They have some amazing appetizers and dessert options for those who wish to eat a more full meal. Come sit at the bar casually or dine in the restaurant. Great place to take friends or a date. Will have to go back to try some of the other options... :) no photos of appetizers: was too darn hungry!
I was a little annoyed they didn't have tuna salad made when I ordered a tuna melt but that quickly disappeared when I bit into the chicken salad melt they made me instead. The rye bread was toasted just enough and the salad was delicious. I'll definitely come here again.

Etto puts together a comprehensive and creative menu of pizzas, cured meats, wines, and even a few interesting salads. It can be a bit frustrating to go through every item, so focus on the pizzas and the salamis (and a salad, if you want to be healthy). The staff is friendly, attentive, and ready to answer any questions you have. We started off with a Frisee, red endive, and grapefruit salad with gorgonzola dressing and pine nuts which left enough dressing and flavor to smear the bread in. If you’re going to pick something from the cured meats, make sure you try the fennel pollen or the hand-sliced prosciuto di parma.

We really came here to try out the pizza, though. Having a strong connection to 2 Amys, we were expecting an impressive pizza. It is different from 2 Amys, but in a refreshing way. The crust is the foundation of success and uniqueness for Etto’s pizza. Apparently, the dough is made using freshly milled flour each day on a stone mill and bakes at a higher temperature in their oak-fired pizza oven which translates to a thin, but firm crust that won’t droop when you pick up your first slice. Nice and crunchy – we loved the crust – but the ingredients weren’t overshadowed. There are some interesting combinations, so we selected two – the margherita (very good but could’ve benefitted from a bit more cheese) and the potato patata chorizo tomato (the chorizo and peppers made this pizza our winner). Each pizza is sized for one hungry individual, so order enough to encourage sharing. If you can only have one thing on the menu, go with a pizza that features some of their meats. We were full and couldn't fit any dessert in (sadly), but the assorted candies caught my eye. I'll try them next time.

The restaurant is located in the trendy and busy 14th St corridor right across from Le Diplomate. The interior is cozy, and nicely done – the food and oven are on showcase. There is an outdoor patio for when the weather permits. They open at 5 on weekdays and noon on weekends. Be advised that they don’t do reservations, so try to get there right at 5 and you can enjoy the restaurant before all the other loud patrons arrive.
