Cascade consists of 5 columns of stairs which is a very beautiful place for tourists to visit.
I really liked and enjoyed it.
You can spend hours here, and there are different types of restaurants at the bottom that you can use and rest there.
It was a pleasant place.
But the big problem was not having a toilet, which I think is a big disadvantage for this place.
The road to Tegher Monastery is convenient for any type of car

It is the most visited site in yerevan. It was constructed during soviet period.just a walking distance from the opera. It is somewhat hard to climb the stairs, but I heart that there is an escalator. At the top you will have a great view of the city. You can continue to the memorial statue to the victory park.

It's the most interesting part of Yerevan. It's a pretty long walk from opera - down town - to Mother Armenia statue via a chain bridge, a chain stair and victory Park...

You must visit the history
Lovely art gallery featuring unique Russian paintings and sculptures of the 18th, 19th, and early 20th century. I recommend asking for a guide, because the staff are kind, welcoming, and have a great deal of knowledge and cultural enrichment to contribute to your viewing experience.

Ofc must see if you have enough time while your visit to Gyumri.
One of our best cultural and religious places.
Amazing reserve for hikes (short or long), picnics and history exploration. Basic displays near the entrance show some of the wildlife that has been spotted and while some of the areas are a bit barren the areas around the streams and river are lush. A wonderful place!

The cascade takes you up to a beautiful and scenic point overlooking Yerevan.
The way up is not that hard if you have little bit of fitness. The way up is filled with artistic pieces and different modern art work that adds extra taste to the attraction.
Unfortunately once you reach up, nothing much to do!! There is no food kiosk or coffee shop to sit and enjoy the view.
Kecharis Monastery is a must-see for anyone traveling to Armenia. Its architectural beauty, historical significance, and peaceful atmosphere make it a truly unforgettable experience.

A wonderful place to visit in Yerevan, also inside there are some old work of Arts that you can see. Definitely you can say that Yerevan seems an old City. You can almost see the whole city up from the highest steps.

A Marvelous Vista of Yerevan and Mount Ararat

The Cascade Complex in Yerevan is nothing short of a visual masterpiece. As you ascend its grand staircase, you're treated to a breathtaking view that encompasses both the city of Yerevan and the majestic Mount Ararat.

The sight from this vantage point is unparalleled, offering a perspective that captures the essence of this historic city against the backdrop of Armenia's iconic mountain. It's a view that lingers in memory, a testament to the natural and architectural wonders that grace this region.

Visiting the Cascade Complex is an absolute must for anyone exploring Yerevan. It's a symphony of urban beauty and natural grandeur, creating an experience that resonates long after you've left. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the heart of Armenia's cultural and geographical splendor.

A narrow park. It's ok
Very important prehistoric place in very poor environment and in bad conditions. Not safe for visitors.
There are tours at all times and in many languages. The tour guide was kind and explained all artifacts in depth. Very interesting place. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.
Вход свободный, местные подскажут дорогу. Только запоситесь водой и бутерами. Наденьте удобную обувь.

Good place to walk in the morning but somehow when i went in the night lights were turned off maybe it was late maybe other something else. Anyways I think at that time (22:00) park lights or maybe some of them should be on.
It’s a wonderful museum that shows the life and work of Khachaturian through precious objects. I recommend taking a guide which was about $10 (4000 AMD). The guide was very knowledgeable and fluent in English.
A boring, soulless museum, that fails to paint a compelling picture of both the man and his works. An English audioguide might have enhanced the experience somewhat, but the guided tour is overly expensive at 4000 amd. The presentation could have been better in almost every way.

7th century monastery in Shirak province, wonderful place and beautiful garden, the road to monastery is already rebuilt.
Nice place, no tourists. The path to the caves is a bit to slippery to manage with sneakers.
I loved to explore and climb the different caves.

Old ancient church with lots of history.
Not as known as all the other famous churches but it has its own beauty.
Very interesting, lots of info to soak up. I recommend coming here if you want to visit a museum here. Staff were friendly and we could even get our tour in English which was appreciated!

Harichavank known as one of the most famous monastic centers in Armenia and it was especially renowned for its school and scriptorium. Archaeological excavations of 1966 indicate that Harich was in existence during the 2nd century BC, and was one of the more well known fortress towns in Armenia.

The oldest part of this Armenian monastery is the Church of St. Gregory the Enlightener (Սբ. Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ); it is a domed structure that is usually placed in the category of so-called "Mastara-style" churches (named after the fifth century church of St. Hovhannes in the village of Mastara, in the southern part of Shirak). The founding date of the monastery is unknown, but probably it was built no later than the 7th century, when St. Gregory was erected.

The Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God (Սբ. Աստվածածին) that dominates the monastic complex was built by the orders of Zakare Zakarian, Amirspasalar (commander-in-chief) and Prince who ruled Eastern Armenia in the 13th century together with his brother Ivane Zakarian. Prince Zakare started the Cathedral after he bought Harich from a family representing the Pahlavuni dynasty.

Nice to spend time at evening.. Lots of kids.. ❤️❤️
Historical place, unique architecture, beautiful and incredible views, If you catch the day that Ararat is open you will get great pleasure from the views!! The church of Surb Astvatsatsin was built in 1213, and is constructed from dark gray basalt. It is a cruciform type plan with a chamber in each of the four corners and a semicircular apse at the end of the hall.

Beautiful bird eye view of the city
This is a very good church. It is so nice incide. I felt huge comfort and relax incide.
The artifacts and beautiful things in this iconic museum will send you swooning with delight. Especially noted should be the sections that require you to have an app to see live conducting and performances. This museum is definitely cutting edge. Kudos to the people who had the vision to put this place on the map!
Fantastic place. Backyard and all around are being renovated.

Three pretty churches that make up the monastery, but little around them. The inside of the smaller ones have little to see, but the bigger one is quite impressive.

Fridtjof Nansen, the famous Norwegian explorer, kingmaker, scientist and saviour of countless displaced persons in despair after world war one have been awarded with a little museum in the park who is also named after him.

After the turks genocided the armenian nation during world war one another tragedy struck eastern Europe - the communist revolution and the following holodomor and continentwide starvation, one man stood out from the crowd and put actions behind his words. That man was Fridtjof Nansen. His tireless work among the refugees and starving in Ukraine, south Russia and Armenia have earned him a legendary status almost equal the one in his homeland.

So this musem is a homage to a man who did so much for a foreign people without asking anything in return
I can visit this church every week! It’s the most calming and it’s the right place to balance your heart and bring peace to your mind 🙏🏻 believe me, prayers here reach the God for sure!🙏🏻
May God bless you abundantly!

Tegher Monastery is an early 13th-century Armenian monastery and church located on the southeastern slopes of Mount Aragats near the modern village of Tegher. The architect Vardapet Aghbayrik designed Tegher and the monasteries of Saghmosavank and Hovhannavank during the 13th century. The monastery survived intact during a time when Mongol invasions plagued the lands.
It was a very joyful and inspiring experience for me, if you get to know the composer before you visit the museum you’ll like it a lot more.
We also had a very kind guide named Lena, of course you have to pay 2500 AMD for the guide. The entry fee without the guide is 700 AMD per person.

The monastery is great! It is one of the most impressive churches in Shirak region if Armenia. The most impressive part of it is the small chapel situated right on a cliff. Some parts of the church are covered with ornaments. The church also has a school. It is nice to see its students walking.

I adore this place!!
A small, cozy one.. The altar of the church is very unique... There is a wooden building on the altar. things like this are not common in Armenia...
If the church is close, you can ask the villager who lives next door to open its gates for you.

A beautiful church. Don't confuse it with similar named church Makaravank which is located in Tavush
