Offshoot Coffee is fantastic. The coffee is excellent, and the service is impressively fast, especially considering how busy they are in the mornings. The pastries are good too. Highly recommended for a quick and delicious start to your day!
My firend and I enjoyed brownie with flat white and iced chai. It was very yammy ☺️ Staff are kind and provided a good service. It has a well organized menu, the good design of inside of the cafe, and the intersting rostering place inside. Highly recommended.
Great service, delicious food, lots of choices too! Couldn’t decide what to go for - tuna kimchi bowl, chill eggs or prawn pasta. Went with the pasta in the end and it didn’t disappoint. Coffee was lovely too. Highly recommended!

I love going to Brew. I buy my coffee beans there and I often get a coffee also. The staff here are amazing! They are so switched on, work really well together, and provide great service with a smile. If you’re a regular they make an effort to remember your name. The atmosphere is wonderful and even during a rush they put out a beautiful coffee which is hard to find these days.
One of the best suppliers of single origin and fancy coffee in Western Australia. We traveled from Melbourne and had these guys eyeballed for months as we jump onto their website and order items which are delivered super fast.
But seeing and meeting the main roasters to see the passion and effort they put into their coffee, shows in the taste and quality. Sure you could just grab a cappuccino but there’s some really nice options from the pour overs.

They provide an impressive range of coffee beans, ethically sourced, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding something you like . The staff are knowledgeable and always friendly - there is a genuine passion amongst them. The food options are ideal for either breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend a visit when you are out that way.

Bought a couple of bags to try at home. Pulled an excellent shot first up, without any tweaking. Second shot was even better, slightly coarser grind and slight increase in brew temp.

The Grounds of Alexandria is always busy, especially on the weekend so we were happy that we were able to get a table in the cafe fairly quickly as we'd just picked up a very hungry teen from the airport. Food was tasty as expected for the price but nothing to really rave about and the cakes were a feast for the eyes (though really too much buttercream). The downside was that we had to ask several times for a menu, my husband's meal came significantly after the rest of the mains, we ended up getting our own water as it never showed even after asking multiple times; even taking into consideration that the wait-staff was busy, we felt a bit neglected overall. However, the decorations and ambiance of the venue is fantastic.
It is one of the best places I have been to in Sydney! The atmosphere, service and food is lovely! Love how it is pet friendly as well. I visited it with my hub, parents and fur babies (a husky and a cat). Evah who served us was exceptional. She was so kind and lovely! Definitely a 10/10 visit!!
Been here a few times, amazing location, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Different zones and areas to enjoy. Had breakfast in the Cafe, was exceptional. Had the breakfast tacos and the bircher museli, and a very smooth coffee. They currently have a Mexican theme, and it's executed very well. Plenty to entertain kids, a lot of seating available. You can bring dogs into the venue (cats too apparently!)
Paid $4 for a takeaway espresso. Got home and opened the lid and it was 1cm of crema-less coffee. So I measured it in a measuring glass. 15ml.

Defs in my top sydney cafes list. Interior is beautiful, double storey but so airy and spacious, I’m obsessed. Service was friendly, drinks came quick. Good chai latte, good flavours and sweetness level. Star of the show was the chilli scrambled eggs which was AMAZING omg the flavour, I think it had a touch of Japanese flavours and spices. Brekky burger you can’t go wrong with, beautiful sunny side up egg. I must go back!!!!
I absolutely love the story of The Grounds, the concept of having something very green and farm-like in the middle of such an industrial suburb.
The food itself is very good and not too expensive (but certainly not cheap either).

As a coffee devotee ,this is always my first stop in Perth. Roasting quality is outstanding and recognized on a global scale. Truly beautiful coffees both in espresso and filter form.
Great photo spot within Sydney area. Always beautiful decorations, lots of visitors. Love the coffee! Dog friendly is a bonus! Love to get back there sometime with my pooch🐩. For wedding reception here, it will look so elegant and vintage, feel like a princess in the enchanted forest👰👸!
The place was so nice! You can have brunch, take photos here. They will change the themes from time to time. In January 2024, they still decorated in a Christmas theme.

Ordered flat white and baby chino. The coffee smells really good. It compliments my macha cake which was recommended by the staff. One of the happiest things on Sunday
A trusty coffee joint where you will always get a good cup. The space is a nice open industrial set up, just around the corner from Green Square station. Thoroughly enjoyed the chilli scrambled eggs too. Just excellent!
Great coffee here and there own roastery, I was staying nearby and got multiple flat whites were all great and also bought some Ethiopian beans I brewed on aeropress were really nice. Great selection of baked goods too!

Been to the grounds multiple times across many years for all sorts of dining and they cater very well. Their brunch menus are very nice and food is not extremely impressive but instead a comforting classic you can always come back to. Their cakes are especially good and i always buy some to take home?

Visiting from eastern Canada and was recommended by a local to try this place out. A little mix up with communication with the cashier and kitchen but they where super cool about it. Food was delicious and even grabbed some beans to bring home, cant wait to try! Would definitely recommend.

Christmas is drawing near with the latest theme at the grounds being ginger bread house. The place is very green with plenty of plants surrounding the outdoor seating. Breakfast is serve until 11.45am and lunch menu post that. We were in time to get on the last ordering of breakfast menu and had to wait a few more minutes for lunch order. Food is alright, restaurant is fully packed on a weekday so we need to line up to get a table without prior booking.
Some of the best coffee in Sydney! The tasting board for two was a very nice set of well made drinks; none of which had a hint of bitterness, most surprisingly the cold brew which was so smooth and sweet I wish I could take a few gallons with me back to the U.S.
The lamb pita was very good and so filling as well. To top it off the milk-chocolate passion fruit dessert was a very nice patisserie-style desert without too much heaviness.

The best coffee in Newstead. Open 7 days and 6am to 6pm, wonderful coffee and food, what more could you ask for! Even my partner and I often laugh helplessly after other bad coffee when in other city like Sydney, Melbourne or other countries we travelled to, “Missing Bellissimo at home”.

A very picturesque place, it lives up to his name. It was very busy when we arrived but they still managed to seat us. Food was good, but nothing mind-blowing, presentation style looked very pleasing. Good experience, would go here again to try the grill restaurant. Added some videos of the pastry making.

Good coffee and a great range of small takeaway food options. Stopped by on a Sunday morning and it was absolutely packed, they were pumping orders out but was a quite the queue to order and wait for our takeaway order. Coffee was smooth and I had vegemite toast to go but wasn’t a fan of the taste of whatever spread they used on the bread (was not butter), but it was beautiful rustic bread, and also got some pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) and they were delicious!
We love visiting this cafe! great coffee and brunch options. My go-to is the french toast, it’s quite a unique dish, not overwhelmingly sweet and the fruit makes it refreshing. I also enjoy their burgers.
Tried their Biscoff latte. Not too bad. Tasted less flavor and more coffee. Shame, I had tried it from other place earlier so I had something to compare with. 😌 Otherwise I would have given more stars 😀

I was just running in for a quick coffee on the way to a meeting with my 6 mo so I didn’t bother getting the pram out, the barista couldn’t stop her personal conversation about getting another job long enough just to take my order so I had to stand there for ages with my heavy baby on my hip. Right after I left without ordering she called a guy in from the back to help with orders. I understand if a coffee takes a long time to make but when I’m the only person in line and you’re the blatantly ignoring me when it would’ve been nice to order and sit down to wait with my child is awful especially when the person she was talking to about the job had her number so they clearly could have discussed it another time. I used to love supporting this local cafe as we live just down the road but I definitely won’t be going back anytime soon…

Definitely worth the visit! We came for breakfast. The deconstructed mocha was lovely and the cakes Royal Milk Chocolate was lovely as well. The real gem is the ambiance and grounds itself. We strolled through the various areas that make up this site and we’re surprised by the decoration, fountains, and overall experience. Would definitely like to come back for brunch.

The team remember who you are and talk to you, they actually care plus they love to hear all my crazy mishaps and adventures.

I felt like the old food critic from Ratatouille reminiscing of being younger of how amazing the food is here. The most heartwarming staff there is, atmosphere is great. The Mexican toasts hit different. Peak coffee shop.
Hot chocolate was yummy. Kids pasta sucked. My nephew was very disappointed about it. Service was fast. They gave us menus but we were also looking for other drinks and desserts so our server gave us another booklet menu. When we ordered the desserts the strawberry cake was out of stock and the page with all small pastries were phased out. She only told us after we ordered stuff off of that menu. So she handed us a piece of paper with the updated desserts. Our vietnamese salad bowl was so so I don't think it's worth $25. Barracuda burger was good with interesting potato tempura.
Best coffee place around my workplace. Relaxing and refreshing with a beautiful atmosphere. The people there are lovely and highly capable. I could not ask for more because everything I need in the morning is provided there. Well done, guys!

Amazing staff and service, love that there is a free book sharing service where you can borrow/take home books. The boss is so generous and the staff is friendly. Their hot chocolate here is the best.

The owner is a really lovely man that is why we decided to give this place a try, sadly the staff ruined the experience by making us wait 30 minutes for our first drink then not having the ingredients for our second and forgetting our food order. We were so excited to try the fish cakes but after an hour of waiting we gave up. People who arrived after us got their food and we even reminded them that we had ordered the fish cakes but still nothing. This is a real shame as we are new locals

Kinda stuff you can do at home. Nothing really stand out, standard flavours, no real though has done into the menu or plating.

Be careful if you are ordering a machiatto as a long Mach is different in WA compared to the eastern states.

Industrial loft style decor, with seats both outdoor and upstairs. Selling packs of whole beans of various coffee blends and single origin. For coffee drinks, choices of coffee blends, but no single origin espresso. Batch brew single origin runs out today. Room for improvement in milk frothing for the flat white. Chicken Supreme toastie is too acidic than we thought, the menu didn't say it has lots of sour olive sauce. I'd have given more stars if the staff taking order could have known more about their own coffees, and the barista could have shown some passion when customer asked for recommendations of which blend to choose from if I wanted more fruity flavour. The barista asked me to read the tasting notes myself ... but there was a long queue behind me.
Had the barista breakfast which included three coffees using the same coffee beans: milk base, espresso and brew. Pretty good coffee, they have some sparkling water to cleanse your palette between each coffee.
Loved the depth of flavour in this coffee. My flat white had a nutty, toffee after taste & lingered on the tongue for quite some time. I ordered a double shot so really packed a punch. This place is a roastery & they sell a variety of beans. Seating is limited inside & there's a couple of benches outside
It’s my first time coming here to sit jn ,because I wanna enjoy the coffee with real coffee cup not take away , the place is full of young heart , quiet fast paced but staffs are really taking care of my need , the music was playing quiet fast paced too , so if u are looking for a calm quiet place I think it would effect your mood a bit ,
Amy was a really kind girl that taking care of my need and got me smash avo bowl which is lovely , I can feel she is a caring soul , and baristas when he delivered his coffee to me I also felt quiet warm and loved and caring , I would say stuffs made my visiting very welcoming and place is comfortable and open . I love my food and coffee so I would def visit again , smashed avo bowl is quiet a huge potions in my POV and taste was really yummy

Nice find in this little suburban shopping centre on Christine Avenue. Café has a good variety of food, and has a very pleasant atmosphere.
Coffee was good, and the Ham Cheese Tomato panini toasted was delicious.

10 seated coffee shop which always full of people. ⚡️Recharge my brain and body with Flat white, Almond cappuccino, Five-grains sourdough Sandwich and Smashed eggs with avocado.
Price here is a bit little higher than other cafes, but still be an acceptable rate for the same level of coffee shop. Good quality of food and coffee. Nice staff. Love the seat in front of the shop which we can look out and relax while dine in.

Very friendly, informative and helpful cashier and very nice coffee. Me and my husband love latte so much. Unfortunately, we know that single origin for espresso or brew drinker but we also want to try the single origin coffee. The Cashier help us to choose single origin of the day that's good for latte too. It is a great service, we love the coffee that he chose for us, adorable single origin latte. Thanks Alexandria Campos Cafe, we definitely will return to your cafe when we travel again to Sydney.

There's two tier 1 machines running so they can pump out coffee's when it gets busy plus you'll get a small discount if you bring your own keep cup (the way it should be)

Kwila is a true treasure for the urban culinary explorer. Outstanding coffee paired with simply great food makes this cafe one to add to the list for any true foodie. We tried the cold drip, chai, flat white, Sunrise Bowl, and smashed avo and every one of them was top notch. The space is eclectic, warm, and welcoming.
Loud, busy with ok coffee ☕️ is the best way I could describe Campos Alexandria. We went there for a business meeting during the day and I'd definitely recommend against doing this due to the noise levels. Also the service was ok but the poor servers looked swept off their feet. The coffee and snacks we had were ok. Definitely not in the same league as the coffee from Campos Newtown. Overall ok place to go if you're in the area
Updated review #5 and rating (15Jun19) - it's sad to see how far-gone this place is from its heyday. Slap-dash service, inconsistent shot quality, tables & outdoor areas littered with dirty plates....but there is a good array of (generally stale) pastries/baked goods. Campos should do themselves a favour and debrand this place ASAP. The slide from 5-star to a precarious 2-star has been fast.
