Very good, it's all about the birds, not money.
What an amazing day, thank you for allowing us to share in these magnificent birds lives by being able to adopt and fund a cockatoo thanks to our awesome tour guides Mel and Izzy!
Been a member 6 yrs now. Recent management changes has new ' pro bodybuilder' managing the joint. Rude AF and has employed even ruder female front counter staff.
Very dissapointing, so unless your a male model the female staff won't acknowledge you AT ALL.
Such a shame. This is meant to be a community gym and this kind of behaviour is juvenile and just disgusting. Grow up.

Kaarakin is a not for profit cockatoo conservation centre that does great things.

Wonderful experience and very educational. Dedicated volunteers take you on a tour and share their passion for the beautiful cockatoo's and dingo 's. Well worth the drive. Support this foundation if you can or we may lose these birds in the very near future.
I attend church in the morning on Sundays. I enjoyed a small morning tea before. I enjoyed the service and found it to be helpful, in my beliefs. and affirmation of my religious understandings.
Great place! Whoever is in charge of the gym equipment needs to replace the water cooler though.
The most useless people that do not want to help, they are driven by division, they do not want to help anyone in their community, no matter what documents you give them it is never enough, they will do anything to be dismissed from assisting someone in need

Good space for basketball but too hot in the summer and no insulation or air con.
All new equipment, looks great! But it is a tight fit so likely problematic when it's peak time.
I get the idea of not accepting dirty toys. I had a van full of books and clothes.. It was beginning to frustrate me by what was NOT accepted. I was helping a friend who had packed the boxes and bags.. but watching people go through things and rejecting them was rather personal.. "we accept novels".. but a whole bag of them, rejected.. I grabbed the bag, groaned, walked away.. The girl called out.. "unfair disclosure".. really..? I worked with you guys about the dirty toys, You said you accept novels but rejected a bag full..!!
I litterally went around the corner to Vinnies.. parked the van and had people help me unload and take boxes and boxes of donations inside.. Feeling great to give and help.
Your prices for "economically inferior goods" are unreasonable.. Ive bought before at inflated prices from you, still ended up with rips and tears.. I'll be happy with better prices that reflect rips and tears in secondhand goods at vinnies and smaller charities, (I can sew) did I mention a wider offering of donations to browse through..? Thankyou

Went downhill this year. No commutation over classes. Owed over $100 and been awaiting 3 weeks now.
Supporting salvation Army with multiple donations has me question giving my preloved belongings to smaller charities instead as i see cost of items unrealistically high. Comparing prices i can buy from Kmart orTarget easily for similar prices . From Budgewoi PJ pants without top 15.oo....Dissappointing.
Chris and Alan were my tour guides. I got my first kiss with a dingo here (see photos) and a great cuddle session with an emu bird. I really love these animals, they don't look like they've been from the wild at all! So safe to touch, and they also love you back. Also, this place is far away from my home maybe like 1-2 hours away. It was great that Alan gave me a lift to the train station when my Uber ride cancelled on me. Be prepared to bring physical money - card or cash. The problem is there is not much signal so you can't pay with your phone. This place is worth going to! 5/5 for the hospitality and tamed animals.
They help others with there heart and soul. They don't discriminate any faith or gender .full respect and love ❤ to the salvation army

I’m currently enrolled on the driving volunteer training course: Braking the Cycle, and they can’t be more wonderful. Sarah and her team are all so helpful and efficient, so much so that they’ve helped me regain my confidence after a car crash PTSD after only 8 sessions. I’m forever grateful and in debt with these guys
A wonderful place where black cockatoos and other bird life are rehabilitated or are permanent residents (as they can't go back to the wild). Also roos including a big red, emu and 3 dingos. The staff and volunteers are great and Brad was so interesting to listen to
I will forever and ever be grateful to this place, no one welcomed me and my family with an open heart and arms like Salvation army did. And still do, for me and for anyone in need. Thank you

True credit to your Team, I highly recommend you promote her or give her a raise because we need more people working in human resources with her nature and approach.

There are other shops at level 1/ 426 Church Street. Please update your address to correctly guide your customers to your shop instead of people keep walking into other shops at Level 1 to consult your correct location, and ask for parking resolution related to your business.

Our guide was so knowledgeable about everything to do with the 3 x Black Cockatoo species and the info that he gave us was spot on.
As well as the Black cockatoos it was wonderful seeing the dingos, emus, kangaroos, finches and other beautiful birds!!
Please donate generously to Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre. Populations of these magnificent birds are dwindling because their roosts and food sources are being cleared at a shocking rate.
They need all the protection and care they can get!!!

Just now after dropping off my children while walking to Crestwood Primary School.
A Salvation Army 2-3 tonne truck 100 metres from the school on corner of Warrina ave and Peel rd. Parked on the opposite side of the road.
With cars and school bus heading directly in front of the Salvation Army Truck.
Watched them(2 male in hi vis vest) drive out into on coming traffic!
Safety Isn’t Their Priority😡

An awesome public gym! The atmosphere is great! The machines are great! The place is spotlessly clean! All of the above mentioned characteristics are complemented by modern flat screen TVs! There's also a tremendously professional indoor basketball court to enjoy!
It has 24 hour access! The staff (on duty during business hours) are exceptionally efficient, industrious, courteous & amicable! What's more, the price is most affordable! Become a member 🏋️

Not really a fan of this place. Although they do community work, they also brag about it as if they are doing it with their own money. People donate to the Salvos to help out other people, not to pay high end wages to a bunch of self professed "saints". A bit of humility and a lot less ego would go a long way.
