Stunning, peaceful, walk as far as you like or stop and take in the view. Great for walking, scooters, biking, nice and flat easy stroll. Parks for the little ones to enjoy.

Large grassy space. BBQ and a couple of picnic tables. Drinking water tap for people and animals. Basketball hoop. All those things are alright. But the "new" naturescape playground is a real let down. Two swings, some monkey bars (which most kids under age 7 probably can't reach), a small water play area and a few logs. A real missed opportunity unfortunately
We had our late Christmas bbq it's clean where we bbq area is our family enjoyed the beach and bbq area the restrooms were clean and we took our grand fur babies it was safe for them and our grandkids a great day enjoyed by all
Really beautiful place
Nice big parkland overlooking ocean with lots of room to kick the football about. We were here between Christmas and New Years and was still very quiet though.
The water was too warm and there was algy or coral spawn which made it smell

Plenty of seating scattered around the parkland to sit and enjoy the views.
North end beach has swell on occasion for those keen board riders.

It's next to the bridge. Has bbq facilities, benches and very well maintained grass. My dog likes it here. Also have bins and dogs poop bags. Very convenient, and I'd recommend it overall.

We call this secret park as it's hidden away , unless you pass through this part of the suburb you wont know it's there. Upgrade to the play area is good, basketball back board and throw area recently revamped. Good for the kids, not a bad area to exercise small dogs. The road traffic on three of the four sides is low and only local as these are dead end roads. Bbq facility, good shade trees.

We visited this small but nice park by the Canning River. It has a nice walking path, a great view of the river and numerous park benches. We saw ducks, swans and pelicans in the river. We enjoyed our visit here.
Fantastic child friendly park. 3 separate playgrounds, skate park, tables, loos.
Probably the only complaint, the benches overlooking the water were all in the sun.

Nice little spot for enjoyable ocean breeze. There’s one non-shelter picnic table and seats.

Always so beautiful down here. Love how everyone is so kind and polite. Saying hi as they walk past and keen for a chat by the river. Area is kept clean and very tidy

The BBQ areas are around the playground so while u cook the kids can have a play, there's a slab of concrete where the old skating rink use to be, so you can skate, skateboard, scooter ride a bike on it with your little one and adults alike, they also have a skate bowl near the old skate rink, than u have the beach as well.
So all In all its a great park to take your Family, nice place for a romantic picnic, a great place to sit on the beach and read a book and a swim

Enjoyed an active afternoon with 10 year old grandson. Excellent pathways, sports venues, beach etc. Parking good on week day.

A beautiful park right on the beach. It is huge with b-b-q ,tables,seats. Lovely views.
Concrete Boat ramp has been removed by council in 2022.

A basic little park with about 6 parking spots and one picnic table but with a great view looking out to sea.
Quiet place to eat lunch & watch the ocean
Fantastic place for family fun in the water. Was lovely to see so many kids splashing around! The current is quite strong so need to stay aware of that or you'll be in the ocean pretty quickly!
Could have been better if my grandson team had won they lost by 3 points however the park was good lighting fair nice clean park and toilets thank you
A short walk from the playground to the Headland. A nice outlook over the mouth of the Burnett River. There is a modern lighthouse here and there is a small sheltered bay which would be nice for a swim.

I discovered this place after having brunch at Lo Quay Cafe. It’s absolutely stunning and perfect for walks along the river. Plenty of shade, benches and spots on the grass to relax.
Great place to see sunrise sometimes, and have a nice view 9f the ocean. There's plenty of space to relax and there's a basketball court and surf club.

Stunning area of coastline located at Bargara. Great walking paths and park areas. Good spot for a picnic or family gathering. Ample parking and tables and bench seating available. If you're lucky you can spot a whale in the distance from the foreshore.

We visited Christsen Park on 15/8/21 to have our picnic brekky on a Sunday morning. The fellow who was cleaning the amenities and picnic areas, was extremely thorough and we would like to commend him on his efforts, you should be proud to have someone in your employ like him 🤗 Kevin and Debbie

A beautufil, quiet section of the river between Shelley Bridge and old Riverton Bridge. Plenty of bench seats, lovely trees, easy street parking and great river views. Lots of native birdlife and the black swans are most inquisitive! A very relaxing spot.
I had never been to Burnett Heads before so I stopped in here for a quick 20min visit while heading back to Brisbane from Bargara. It is an absolutely beautiful quiet little spot with plenty of space for kids to let loose. There is a skate park and public amenities.

This is a truly beautiful park. Facilities are top notch and it’s right next to Bargara beach which is great for young kids. Even when it’s busy it doesn’t feel jam packed. Well worth a visit!
Beautiful area. Great viewing vantage point. If you are wishing to spot the odd turtle it is not likely here but the area is beautiful and local residents are very friendly during their walks and socialising.
Very good place to take your kids for a play. Plenty of parking and clean toilets. There’s clean BBQ area that are provided, perfect for an afternoon BBQ with the family. Awesome view of the beach. At high tide the water comes in and its very relaxing to play in the water and the current not that strong. Worth the stop by. Took my drone out to capture the views.

Cute park, easy beach access, good parking, some great park activities for the kids - beach volleyball nets, skate park, gym equipment, river inlet, picnic areas, beautiful murals on the large toilet blocks and a cold outdoor showers. Only downer was the old & disgusting inside of the toilets that were not well maintained.
Not only is this spot great for a picnic, it is an awesome dive site. Either free diving or scuba there is so much to see. Mainly vibrant soft coral, schools of fish, mackerel and the odd whale or 2 pass by in winter. the rock pools a great for the kids to explore and it is picturesque for photography.
One of my favourite local spots. A nice pond full of ducks & swans on one side of you, the Swan River on the other side of you, and the best Acai Bowls in Perth right next to you. Great place for a picnic or just to chill out on a nice day. There's also a playground for the kids, and a couple of gazebos if you want some shade.

This park is perfect for families with children and teenagers. We cycled past first eyeing the spots to visit on our way back. Skatepark, amenities and a cool ninja ropes course and exercise equipment for the adults.

Nudibranch Park is a nice little spot to enjoy the ocean view and the sea breeze. The picnic table is nicely shaded and there's easy parking for a few cars. Just note that there is no Sandy beach here. The shoreline is rocky. For such a small park it is surprising to see a rubbish bin here.
One of the publicly accessible boat ramps along the Bundaberg coast. The boat ramp is adjacent to a nice park with good facilities.
Very pretty, a friend'a wedding was set there
Easy access, with a lovely lagoon and beach. My daughter spent a fun couple of hours in the surf. The surrounding foreshore has pathways and shelters too.

Nice place to spend afternoon with kids by the side of beautiful Canning river. There are a lot of facilities like playground, a cafe, fishing option, BBQ and public toilet. It is also good for canoeing as there is a ramp. The public toilet closed 8:30pm.
We were there specifically on ANZAC Day at Daybreak/Dawn .. & it was absolutely awesome..
But the entire park is extremely well maintained & set out beautifully to cater & entertain all folk both young and old....BBQ's.... Picnic Shelters.....Playground ..Skate park....Toilets & Showers.... Walking Trails along the coastline....lots of parking.... LOVELY LITTLE BEACH & INLET..... EVERYTHING IN THE ONE ONE SPOT.... SUPERB.....

Great little private beach. Been going there for 20 years. They have just added toilets and bbq seating area. Play ground for the kids. Huge walking track along the cost.

Great new park for kids!! Toilets and bubblers (water) the park has been here for a while. But the council in the last year or two have been doing upgrades and such. I think its a great area lots of different and unique play equipment! Theres also a path right along the beach front. 10/10 would recommend.
Picturesque! The amenities are wonderful -- there's barbeques, outdoor showers and private bathrooms. Not to mention, beach! Nice and clean and a great family environment.
