Huge park, nice place to hang out, it’s windy because nearby the bay, fresh air.
Great place for a picnic and watching the sunset. It is huge, no space problems. We rounded the lake by bike, after Elizabeth's bridge you have to cross the road to climb to another bridge, mind the cars.

Great market
Sir James Mitchell Park is a sprawling green space along the southern foreshore of Perth Water, offering stunning views of the Swan River and the city skyline.

A few equipment requires repair. The space and setup is nice. Although the play equipment design is flawed. A good space with potential overall.
A lovely park along the Swan foreshore. A few lakes full of wildlife, plenty of trees for shade, excellent cycling and walking tracks, fabulous views of the city and frequent events at the western end. What's not to like?!
Great spot for a bbq or picnic. Nice view of the city, beautiful sunset, and the swans were so cute.

Beatiful park. Good view of the city. Diwali function was held there. Lots of parking availabile in the grounds which wouldn't show in the map. Often when there are functions the ground is used for parking.

The park being on the river side makes it so relaxing, calm and beautiful. I visited this Park to attend a Diwali mela 2023 🪔. This was my first time being here and I never expected it to be so awesome. At times I even forgot I was in Australia. There was a huge list of things we could explore right starting from gaming stalls , culture stage, cloth, jewelry stalls and last but not the least a huge collection of food stalls. And at the end an eye sparkling fireworks display.🎇🎆
No words to explain the park nor the event. Totally mind blowing.
There are parking lots spread on sidewalk of the park.
Overall experience Superb 🥳🫶

The most wonderful of ways to reach a beach on foot. Drop down from Bronte road into the gully at various places, but the best is at its top before Bronte House where a waterfall serenades in the bush and the birds call in return. The trees are magnificent. Easy walk down the gully to the beach.

A green watery rock oasis in the city. Sydney has a few of these natural wonders. Peace and tranquilly doesn't come from an internet site it originates from places like this. Switch off the computer, pack your bags and venture down for your own private rainforest only a few know for a few moments.

Great place to grab some grass and spread a picnic blanket, while watching the warm evening colours draw toward the sunset.

Beautiful park overlooking the city skyline. Huge open space, ideal for picnics and games with the family. The only thing that lets it down are the usual cyclists speeding through there without a care about anyone else and the ignorant dog owners that don't keep their dogs on leads.
Don't park there, no cameras in parking and someone is scratching the cars.
So, it is not a safe place.
Love to have walking session in this park (we walked here at night after dinner and evening i walked alone (feel safe) - with my music on and thoughts running around my head 😅). I see a lot people there walking / jogging / with kids / with dogs.
Lovely spot to park and walk, plenty of playgrounds along the south Perth side of the river. And so much bird life along the river and rivers edge.

Perk park is bike ride bliss! You'll cruise along a rad path that connects must-see spots, with sweet views of Swan River and the city. Plus, directions are a breeze, and renting an e-scooter is a must for exploring more. Prepare for a refreshing breeze that'll keep you feeling fine.

Absolutely stunning spot in South East Sydney not far from Bondi or Prince Of Wales Hospital in Randwick. Great spot to take the kids to enjoy the sun and a swim if you're brave enough to try the water in winter. There's an ice cream van there most days with delicious, creamy soft serve ice cream too.

The park is walking distance from the hotel where we stayed (Novotel). Great place for a morning walk with jogging path along the borders of the Swan river that extends all the way to Elizabeth Quay. Great place to catch the morning breeze and the sunrise reflected off the buildings across the river.

Good for young kids. No shade though.
If you like running or just walking stairs, this is the place. I still remember my first time I was introduced to these stairs in 1977, I was only 13yrs old. Looking up from the bottom you think you see the top, only to begin your climb & quickly realise you're barley half way lol lol lol.
Over the years I keep coming back, for just the sheer enjoyment of the view as well the exercise.

It’s a lovely little spot for watching the change of light. The eels were a surprise, a local pointed them out to me, wondering whether they had come down from Centennial Park.

Amazing place to take young kids to see the aeroplanes landing on the ‘diagonal’ runway! There’s two playgrounds as well as plenty of shade and a drink fountain. Good parking very close by too.
Hidden gem; awesome place for the best views of the river with nice play area for the kids; a must stop during my weekend cycling route

An amazing park that is professionally managed by experts who have studies and researched the area. There is so much consideration given to the wildlife in the area and to preserving the natural water way and landscape. There is extraordinarily nice pathways that accommodate for bikes and walkers. There is ample information boards scattered around the park informing visitors about the unique bird life and explains what attracts these birds from all around the world to visit this location.
Bird life is therapeutic to watch, it’s peaceful, quiet and the birds look healthy.
Thank you to all the volunteers that help maintain this park and also thank you to anyone who helps financially keep this park in pristine condition.

Really nice play grounds facilities for the children and BBQ facilities as well 😀 the outdoor gym facilities are not very well maintained and limited options, would be great if they (council) upgrade the outdoor gym facilities and maintained it ongoing regular basis. Overall a nice great playground. Another suggestion would be to add a community driven garden patch around the bush area in this awesome playground 👍🙏🌻🎉🙂
Great view from the top! Stairs are a great workout but can be very crowded with many people huffing and sweating, pushing past
The South Coogee Stairs are very popular with fitness fanatics from all over Sydney. They are steep and all different sizes and there are so many of them, it makes for a great workout. They are definitely not for the faint hearted. They are also located next to residential homes so be mindful of noise. The best part is most definitely the beautiful ocean view.

An amazing oasis in the middle of the city. Bronte Gully comes straight up from Bronte Beach and it really is like you are lost in a hidden paradise. Almost rainforest the gully hides you away from it all. A nice creek runs down through the middle. Shady places to escape the hustle. Waverly Council do an amazing job of maintaining and enhancing this beautiful spot. You have to visit.

Wide open lawn spaces and different sets of play equipment to suit different aged children. Popular for dog walking. Car parking is available on all sides of the main park.

The park is nestled in alongside Kyilla Primary School and shares some play equipment with them.

Large multiuse ovals, water facilities, shady trees that seem almost historical (I, know a lot of the trees are over 30years old because my dogs cat children and myself have had picnics, ball games and rests under them over the last 25 years. Accessible by the cycle path adjacent to but fenced off from Tonkin hwy and the airport.

A largish Riverside park, with large open grass area and interesting play area. The nearby roads dominate the audio environment and the trees seem bland. The connection to the river is also not as strong as other nearby parks in the Olympic zone.

A great chance to do it like a local!
Not for the faint hearted, lazy or those with wimpy whinging kids.
Walk up stairs get sweaty, run up stairs get really sweaty. Great coastal walk at the bottom.
